Going along beside Rae she startled a bit when Cylo was suddenly beside her. She growled, realized it was Cylo then chilled out. Eve spotted the axe welder and grinned.
"You always attract such violent woman, Red?" Course she couldn't really talk with her raging lycan. She was glad to see he was alright though he wasn't really dressed. Making sure to keep her eyes on his eyes when they talked she shook her head. "This sure is crazy, huh?"
As the larger war dragon joined them she listened to the boy in his arms. A safe house? How big a sh*t hole were they in? She sure didn't have anywhere they could go, and she didn't think the Cave would be the best of hiding places. Hopefully someone else had a plan.

I want your head in the left corner. And your aaarrrmmm, in the right corner, and the other one, switched with your...
"CYLO!"
He lifted her off the ground, and suddenly she shifted from bloodthirsty to nearly docile, too busy marveling at Cylo's speedy recovery to think of anything else. She tried searching him for wounds as he ferried her across the room, so concerned for his health that she didn't seem to notice his state of undress.
It'd hit her later.
"You're dumb." She informed childishly after her inspection, which was her way of saying 'I could have seriously hurt you! What were you thinking, just grabbing me like that?!'
"Put me down! I was gonna dismember him!"

"KENNEDY!!!!"
Angela's shrill scream errupted through the hall, and she flew faster than she'd ever flown before, hovering over her fiance in the powerful war dragon's arms. She fussed over his state, eyes watering as she tried to find some way to be useful.
She had been hurried out with the rest of the Edengrowth and Wingrose students, and she'd hurried back to Kennedy's room to pick up things they would need to travel. Angela wasn't the smartest girl, but she had seen Kennedy speak out, and the chaos ensue, and instantly knew that they would no longer be welcome here. It pained her to know that the Academy would not be their home, but so long as she was with Kennedy, everything would be okay.
"Illinois?" She repeated, sobbing as she hovered alongside Scythe, holding tightly on to one of Kennedy's hands, "We're going to Illinois?"
She clutched the dufflebag slung over her arm and kissed Kennedy's knuckles. "What do you need? Should I contact my father? Can he do anything to help? Can I do anything?" Angela was frantic and panicking and anxious and distraught. Their lives were changing, and it was frightening.

"The violent ones are more fun," Cylo said with a much more natural grin, and he honestly meant it. He wasn't sure he could maintain any sort of friendship with a girl who couldn't hold her own; he'd always be too worried about accidentally hurting her somehow. "Aren't you?" he said, smiling down at Kirien, who was cradled in his arms like a new bride.
"Crazy is definitely the word," he said as he watched Kirien inspect him. When she had finished, he laughed slightly and said, "I'm fine, Kirien, don't worry about it. I got lucky; I had enough juice to heal myself like that twice over." He ignored the swipe at his intelligence; he knew full well that he was lucky to still have all his limbs after interrupting her like that.
"And I'm not going to put you down until you promise not to run back in there. Now is not the time to start a fight; the Academy might be acting like a bunch of idiots at the moment, but they're not really our enemy."
It was a streak of clear thought that might surprise most, coming from him, but Cylo had a sharper mind than he let on, especially when it came to non-academic use. It wasn't the only thing he had to say, either.
"Don't you think it's probably not a great idea to be yelling our plans back and forth while we're still in the Academy?" he said loudly, basically talking to whoever would listen. "Even if there are no Agents around, I'm sure they have surveillance or something. Seriously."

Karmine was now outside where it was quiet. When the sound hit his ear. He'd heard it before, but asked the wind to repeat it for him.
[red]"That big city. A train runs past it, lots of heavy vehicles, underground. Kiri knows better, find her near there. Better be important."[/red]
And that was all. It wasn't much to go on, but it was enough.
"Ok!" Karmine seemed to shout, running back to the group. "Anyone who can fly or move fast that can fight is coming with me...." He then stopped dead in his tracks starting at Cylo. Cylo in his boxers, holding a raving Kirien.
Silence for a moment.
A snicker. "Anyway, we've got a good idea where they are, but we need to move fast so we don't miss our informant. AND we are going into the city, so try to not stand out. Which means no gigantic shape shifting or breathing fire!" As if to accentuate that point he used a glamor on himself, giving him the appearance of a clubber.
"So who goes with Kennedy, besides his worried Wife, and who is coming with me? It's going to be fast and effective if I have my way, but I won't say a fight is out of the question."

Cattle were so annoying, especially bouncy blond ones with high voices. His eyes narrowed at the blond really wanting her voice box to stop working. Silence, mute, speechless. People like her made him think violent thoughts. Best to get away from her before those thoughts became reality. So he picked up his strides to get to Karmine.
He wanted to go fight with the bug, but he was the one carrying invalid boy. Damages, weakling, wounded. What to do, what to do. Were any of the others capable of carrying the boy? He glanced them over and deducted that to be a negative. Looks like he was stuck as a baby sitter. Wonderful.
"Vhere do I take vunded?" He growled not at all pleased that he had to watch over a boy he didn't even know. A boy with a highly annoying parasite that thought she needed to open her mouth. Trap, hole, jaws. This was going to be a long day of denying himself the pleasure of killing. He'd have to break fluffy bunnies necks after this to keep himself sane.

The shrill scream made Kennedy flinch, and he began to wonder which would be worse: being eaten by Scythe or having to deal with a worried Angela. Come to think of it, both were still real possibilities, so he shouldn't count them out just yet.
"Call Travis," replied Kennedy, nodding. "We could use his help. And yes," he looked at the group, "Illinois. I've got family with a big house, should work until we can figure out something better. Definitely preferable to camping out in the Cave."
That would be uncomfortable, to say the least. And Kennedy didn't want to put Rae out. His family, sure.
"Wait, what?" Kennedy blinked at Karmine. "Shouldn't I go with you guys? You'll need the extra firepower..."
He glanced over at Angela. Or not. Someone could very well go after them. Angela, Kiri, and the wounded weren't exactly in the best place to defend themselves.
"Right, Illinois," he muttered. He then worked his way out of Scythe's arms, wobbling to his feet. "Take the big guy with you, I'll fly there."
Kennedy smiled, glancing over at Angela and winking.

Since they were now out of the Academy, Rae felt no reason to stay in her wolf form. Besides, it was proving horribly difficult to talk. And she changed easier then most...
So Rae shifted back into her human form, ignoring the aches and pains. Her enhanced healing had already taken care of most of the aches and pains, so it was really just the transformation. Of course, she still felt tired, but not quite ready to give up yet.
Now she could talk.
She was also naked, but that hardly bothered her.
"Me an' Eryk are in," she half-growled. Shaking her head, she spoke again, her voice clearer. "Ye goin' ta need us. 'sides, we kick arse even like this."
She waved her hand, then noticed that she just so happened to be nude, still. Chuckling, she looked over to Eve and winked bawdily.
"Bet m'lass will tag along tae. Ye add th' big dragon an' ye got a good group," suggested Rae, looking back to Karmine and grinning. "Could use a few more lads wit' heads on their shoulders though, aye?"

Naked girl friend does not a happy girl make. She glared at Rae her arms crossing over her chest. One of the guys better offer her his shirt or she was going to be even more pissed. She had a sports bra under what she was wearing but her shirt wasn't nearly long enough to cover everything.
The wolf beside her didn't seemed bothered with seeing his alpha naked. He also wasn't shifting like Rae had. Interesting. She glanced over at the rest of the people and back at Cylo with his little buddie.
"Well, some people need clothes. Others might need weapons." Eve sighed glancing up at the academy. "If someone could zip up to my room there should be enough weapons for an army."
"If a guy doesn't give my girl friend a shirt in the next twenty seconds I will take one." Her eyes narrowed looking at each of the dressed men in turn. The wolf just gave her puppy eyes as if to say sorry.

Casey's portable device beeped at him. He had no choice but to pick it up, placing it by his ear.
"Agent Blythe, you are to catch up to and follow the insurgents. Enter their group and attempt to gain their trust. When the time is right... you'll know what to do."
Casey fumbled through an argument, not believing what he was hearing. They wanted him to? To spy on these people? To lead them into some kind of trap?
"This is in the Academy's best interests... in your best interest, Mr. Blythe."
There was no arguing with Nia, in other words. Sighing an affirmative, Casey closed the device. He then hurried after the group, rearranging his features into a student they'd never seen before.
"Wait!" he called, waving his hands. "I want to go with you..."
Please let this work...

Once she got over the initial shock of being swept off her feet, literally, and dragged out of harm's way, Kirien was quite content to be carried about. She went quiet silent, arms about Cylo's neck for better support, careful not to cut him in the back with the axe she was dangling from one hand. She observing their little group with vague interest, but seemed altogether bored with the whole situation.
She gave him a grin at being called fun, not minding being called violent, because she was, and she embraced it. Better to be able to handle herself than be a damsel in distress, like the stupid storybooks decreed. And who said she couldn't have a little fun taking out the bad guys?
"I'm not promising." She told Cylo impishly, and left it at that. She wasn't about to admit that she was happier to be held than she was to go chop up a demonic porquepine, and said nothing until Karmine's shouting.
At which she rolled her eyes and sighed. Wasn't Karmine supposed to be smarter than shouting out their plans for the world to hear? The way everyone was carrying on was as if they weren't within earshot of their enemies.
"Where are we going?" She whispered to Cylo, looking rather annoyed by her allies' tactics. That was about when Rae decided to turn back into a human woman. A very naked human woman.
She clamped one hand over Cylo's eyes, and glared at Rae. She shouldn't be distracting their men, and certainly not while they were still in danger. "She can have my cloak, as long as she stays over there." Kirien told Eve huffily, and fired another glare at the student who approached them. Now irritated, she wasted no time in launching a volley of questions at the newcomer, sounding none too friendly.
"Who are you? What do you want? What can you do?" She tilted her unoccupied arm just enough for Casey to catch a sight of her handaxe.

"Michael Blythe; I want to help; I can heal myself?" offered Casey holding up his hands and backing up slowly. The redhaired girl was... kind of scary, really. And Casey seemed to recall her ripping into people with that axe she carried around. Who carried an axe around anyway?
Then again, these were people who willingly took Scythe along with them, clearly they had a few screws loose, at the least.
"Sorry I didn't fight earlier.... I was scared," offered Casey. He brightened immediately though, trying to look, well, like a kid trying to be bold. "I want to help now though! And I can fight! the guy before Karmine taught me all kinds of cool skills. Like how to fight with two swords and look totally awesome!

Karmine's eyes narrowed at the newcomer. Someone he hadn't seen before came to help them, and there was something about that name he recognize.
"Ya'd be better off." He said, turning to the boy. "Goin back in there and saying ya had nothin ta do with us. This is fer people directly involved, an ya ain't one. Can't in good conscience involve someone who ain't involved already."
He turned to Cylo and threw him his jacket. Thanks to his glamor he would still appear dressed, and now Cylo had at least SOMEthing to wear. He did spare a grin towards Kirien, saying with a smirk.
"Ya plan ta invite me ta they honeymoon there? Ya already got em half way ready."
Karmine looked to Rae. "If ya think ya fast enough, ok, but what about Mr. Charcoal there?" he said gesturing to the unconscious Leo. "Looks like he got blasted by Nia somethin fierce. Can't take him into tha lions den. Anyway, we gotta move quick. So it's me and the dragons." he said gesturing to Eve and Scythe. "Going ta rescue some kids and beat up some people, and Ken an 'gela." He said pointing to them. "Ta go make sure everythin is ready for us. Who else is going where? Make up your minds, cause I ain't waiting."
He looked to Scythe. "Oh yeah, can I grab mah blade?"

"Fine, I guess I'll just carry you all day," Cylo said, in a very uppity manner, as if this was supposed to make Kirien second-guess her decision. He honestly hadn't even thought that the highly independent demoness would enjoy being carried.
Cylo snorted when he saw the look on Eve's face at seeing the girls who was, evidently, her girlfriend, naked in public. Cylo at least had the luck to be wearing underwear still.
"I'd offer her my shirt, but I doubt ashes and charred bits of material would be of much help," he said, smirking at Eve for a moment before he was unceremoniously blinded by Kirien. He let out a startled noise that was somewhere between 'hey!' and a laugh, but his hands were a little preoccupied holding Kirien up, so he didn't have the means to free himself. All he could do was shake his head to try and unsettle her grip.
"How am I supposed to know where we're going? I can't even see!" he protested, in entirely too good of a mood for such a grave situation. He took advantage of the distraction the newcomer presented to free up his vision and try to answer a few questions that he hadn't felt right answering blind.
"We'll go with you, Karmine," he offered, figuring Kirien wouldn't mind being voluntold to go fight people. She had just been rearing to tear that Agent a new one, after all. "As long as you winged guys don't slow me down," he said with a cocky grin. "I guess I do have a passenger to even things out, though."
He grunted and attempted to shift Kirien's whole weight to one arm so he could catch Karmine's thrown garment, but found that he nearly fell over attempting this, and the jacket ended up landing over Kirien's head. He decided he'd deal with that later.
crap, but trying to piece all this together is no fun xD

If the boy didn't want to be carried who was he to argue? It also meant that woman would be farther away from him. Stepping away from the overly cute couple he went to stand closer to the bug. At least that guy sounded like he'd done something like this before. Experienced, accustomed, seasoned. He stood arms crossed over his expansive chest glaring at the large building near them.
At the request for the sword he rolled his eyes to the fairy and just stared for a moment. Then he shifted and in a quick smooth motion withdrew it, and tossed it at the man. He didn't even cut his pants in the process. Briches, jeans, slacks. His arms returned to their previous position and so did his eyes.
When the new person showed, and the red headed midget shot off questions he cringed. That voice. That horrible keening. How he hated young things. That name however made him smile, but he kept his mouth shut. Closed, silent, sealed. If the other people accepted him into the group then it would give him an excuse to accidentally kill him. For an agent the peon wasn't smart enough to change his last name. But course it could be a popular last name. With that thought he turned away no longer interested in a little toddler.
