The Agents carefully parted, allowing Scythe to enter. They knew better then to get between the dragon and his prey. Besides, they had dozens of little rats and mice to deal with. So they focused on those, and backed away. A few stepped toward Cylo, in particular, a hefty man with dark skin and a cruel smile.
"Boy, you don't want to get involved," he said, his arms rippling. Clearly this man was far from human.
-----------------------------------------------------
Nia watched the scene unfold with calculating eyes. So many sided with the rebels. Why? Didn't they realize that the Academy was doing this to defend people? Couldn't they see that, in fact, the others were resisting? That they were wrong.
Nia didn't pretend to understand. She'd had quite enough. These people needed to be put down, for their own good.
The Faerie commander began mumbling under her breath, arcane words from a forgotten tongue. Slowly, ever so slowly, strange power began to grow within her.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Two Agents pealed off, nearing Eve and Leo. Both smiled.
"You two should give up now," ordered one. "This isn't going to go well for you."
--------------------------------------------------------
Amid all this, one woman looked troubled. Trixie, official healer, didn't like to see anyone hurt. Children, even less so. Cute children even less. Oh, and hot guys. Definitely hot guys.
She watched the fight, frowning. How could she help like this? what could one healer do?

At the sounds of something crashing behind them she let out a yelp not daring to turn around. This was oen of the worst things to ever happen to her. Kiri called out to her friends to help in any possible way. Spiders crawled out of the walls making layers of webs, and a few rats came to her aide. The rodents however could do nothing to a flying opponent.
"I need bigger helpers than insects and rodents!" She looked at Star terrror covering her face. "Can you blind them or something?"
Kiri heard 'halt' and turned to find her godfather behind them? He could catch up easily. "Come on! I know you can fly faster than me. We gotta get out of here."
She slowed however spotting a snake or two slithering out of a crack. Better than nothing. If she could just get outside she could ask for bigger, meaner help.

Eve cracked her knuckles, cracked her neck and then grinned wickedly after putting the other man's phone in her pocket. Rae was coming alright, especially after the list of names of people involved. The agents stepping close made her grin turn into something down right deadly. One even paled slightly.
"Wrong chicky to mess with boys." She growled her eyes instantly flashing to scarlett not having nearly the amount of control the agent Wingblade had. Her nails grw to claws. "I don't play nice."
Eve winked at Leo and charged into the fight. The boy could take care of himself, and if he couldn't then a female war dragon just might lend him a hand. Her next smile flashed fangs and she let out a laugh that chilled even her bones with how creepy it rang out.

Once they were outside Karmine turned around and discarded his hat, letting his hair flow freely.
"A pity." He mused. "Finally get a good fight and there is too much else going on for me to really enjoy it. Well, since I doubt you care or are going to tell your boss, let me tell ya something. This is a getaway for me to, I just don't want to see all those kids get hurt, ya know? So I'll dance with ya, why not? Haven't had a good fight in a century or more!" He pulled the sword low, judging his opponent.
Like fighting a more experienced Kirien. I can keep him occupied I'd think.
"But MAN is she a bitch, why do you work for her anyway?" Karmine said as he moved forward, slashing low.

"Oh, yeah, sure. 'Protect Kennedy while I go fight a dragon.' Thanks for keeping all the fun to yourself," Cylo grumbled to himself as Karmine took off. However, he had to admit he didn't particularly want to fight a dragon. For one thing, his power didn't work very well on them. Dragons and their resistances to magical influence. What a pain.
He did have other things to worry about though. Like this mysteriously confident guy. Cylo had a gut feeling the guy wasn't human, a demon if he had to guess, but he didn't really have the time to do much more than a preliminary check. What he could easily see was that this guy was ripped. Cylo was strong, sure, but brute force wasn't his thing.
Speed was.
"Dude, you seriously don't want to underestimate me."
Although he didn't like to advertise the fact, being Demon of Speed didn't just make him fast. It meant he more or less had dominion over the aspect of speed; it went both ways. So sure, the guy might be strong, but Cylo was draining the speed of everyone circling him while his own remained inhumanly high. He still didn't know what the guy was capable of, but there was no way anyone in the vicinity was catching him off-guard with such a speed disadvantage. They'd all feel like they're trying to fight in the shallow end of a pool, while he pranced around with a spring in his step.
It may have been unfair, if not for the sheer number of his opponents.

Leo tore right in with Eve, but soon found himself away from her. She was scary right about now, and he didn't want to fight anywhere near that. Backing up he bumped into someone. He was about to kick backwards, but looked over his shoulder. A red haired kid fighting a rather big agent.
"I'm going to assume your an ally." Leo said. "Since we're both fighting the freak police here." He glanced back at his opponents.
"Maybe I don't want to do this, you might be right! But I've fought scarier freaks then you at this damn place!" He said, recalling his meeting with Kirien.
"So come on, I'll rip ya new one!" He said, lashing out a quick kick to the mans legs.
Whatever super power this guy had, it was going to suck.

So, they didn't buy his ploy. Or else they just didn't want to stop. Because, of course, it would be a brilliant idea to stop while someone was chasing you.
Mentally cursing himself, Casey tried to put in an extra burst of speed. Again, his flying showed just how much skill he had. In other words, he slammed into the wall and bumped into the ground. Nearly skidded, in fact.
"Guys, I got... uh, wounded!" lied Casey, hoping they didn't catch his pause. Or saw through his poorly constructed ruse. "I need you to stop for a moment. I don't think I can keep this up much longer."
There was a special place in Hell for people like Casey, he just knew it. This was clearly not a story he was going to brag about later.
Especially if Scythe was involved in some bada** fight...

He looked at the man his eyes back to normal and looking quite bored. Hands in his pockets he stood feet slightly apart as the man prepared himself with a sword. Fairies were always so annoying. Bothersome, irritating, irksome. Instead of attacking, instead of readying himself for some epic battle he stood. Just stood there and stared.
The fairy asked him a question that made the dragon give half of a smile. Grin, smirk, sneer."I do not vork vor her. I serve."
The war dragon was obviously not a big talker. If the fairy wanted to fight they'd fight, but if the talking butterfly wanted to talk he'd leave. There were much more interesting things to be doing that chit chat with a big bug. Insect, pest, fly. Still standing completely still he waited.

Karmine had brought the sword in for a slash, and Scythe had not even moved to dodge or block it. Karmine stopped and pulled back, staring at the man.
"Serve? Why the hell would you do that? I never understand you people, lose one fight and the world freaking ends. Well then here is a deal, I beat you and you serve me then ok?" He pulled back his blade again, looking the dragon over.
Yeah right, like that would happen.
Without wasting another word quite yet, he went to slash again, this time he would give the dragon his monies worth before he continued talking.

Thinking her godfather would catch in a split second she did a loop to turn and face him. Seeing him down she squeaked and instantly flew over to him. She hadn't been gone that long and there he was hurt!
"Godfather!" Kiri knelt beside him her hands reaching out to find the wound. She didn't see any blood...."I don't see it. Where are you hurt?"
Her eyes searched then she paused. Would Karmine actually come after her if he was hurt? To tell her to stop? Or would he want her to get out? Not knowing the right answer exactly she narrowed her eyes and lifted her gaze to the man. Was this Karmine? Sure it was. It had to be.
"I don't know if I can help." She was so scared and so worried about everyone.

The Agent facing Eve narrowed her eyes. Her skin rippled, hardening. Lurching forward, she attempted to slam her fist into Eve's face.
The dark skinned man facing Cylo barked a laugh. "I'm betting you're a demon, right? Think you're a tough guy, right? Look, I've been around longer then you. I've been fighting people since before you born. But, you want to dance, let's dance."
He rolled his shoulders, and his muscles rippled with him. Spines began to erupt from his skin, wicked looking instruments. The ripping sound even over the din of the rising battle. Now with bulging muscle and impressive spikes, the Agent laughed.
"Give up, cocky."
----------------------------------------------------------
Leo's Agent took several steps forward. He didn't look like he wanted to fight Leo in the slightest.
"I really don't want to hurt you, kid," the wiry man said. His skin hardened significantly, taking on a silvery sheen. "Please... just..."
It was a bit too late for talking. Leo's fit hit the man's leg, and he lurched, reaching down to touch the newly hit area. It didn't do much besides move him.
The man snarled, and bits of flame leaked toward Leo, as the dragon began blasting his opponent.

Nia continued muttered her words. Light began to build around her...

He was going to Hell.
Casey looked up at the innocent girl, seeing her baby blue eyes. So trusting. She just wanted to help everyone. Her godfather. Karmine was her godfather. And she had just wanted to help.
"No, Kiri," Casey's features rearranged. Soon he looked at Kiri through his own eyes. "I'm not Karmine... I'm not hurt. I'm here to stop you."
He brought his arm up, aimed the stun gun at Kiri.
Why did he have to do this? Why couldn't they have sent someone else? Why did Casey do their dirty work for them? Why? Why? Why?
Casey fired.

His eyes looked at the blade as it came toward him the first time and smiled when it stopped. Just as he thought. The fairy had some sort of honor. Code, morals, decency. The smile faded as the bug started talking again. Cleary the butterfly had never been a slave.
"Her vorces outch nomber mine. Save fightch for 'nother day." Threats of hunting him down and killing him kept him waiting. This also meant he could be close to peon to kill the rotten, pathetic rat. Death didn't suit him, and he knew when to just sit and wait he had time. Life, plan, while.
At the second swing with hands still in his pockets he jumped backwards. The fairy had more speed than him and the tip left a slash in his white shirt. Dragon skin was so very useful. Practical, helpful, handy. Again he stood and waited, no need to rush into things and do something foolish.

The two faerie children looked to be in particular bad straights. In fact, one would almost consider them to be in "dire peril."
Enter deus ex machina.
A turtle rounded the corner, moving at, well, top speed. This is actually faster then you'd expect for a turtle. Even more so for a turtle named Jolt.
Following close on his heels was an enraged duck, trained to fight to the death. For this was the great fighting fowl known as Twiddle.
Finally, bounding behind the others was a rowdy ferret, wearing a helmet made out of a pair of white cotton women's undergarments. The ferret bared its teeth, hissing. The might of Flyff, err, Twitch, was ready to be brought to bear.
Yes, three animals had arrived to save Kiri from the big, bad Agent.
The duck flew at Casey, wings flapping, quacks erupting from his mouth. The ferret hurried for his leg, teeth bared. The turtle, well, he was working on getting there.

Kiri's eyes went large and instantly filled with tears. The man wasn't Karmine. The man was a mean man. A mean man pointing a gun at her. She flung up her arms screaming out. "NO!"
The stun hit her forearm and her eyes rolling back into her head she fell over. Rats, mice, spiders, and three snakes slid, creeped, and climbed onto her body. The snake were two garden snakes and one black king snake. Nothing as dangerous or as useful as say a copperhead. The rats hissed along side the snakes at the man.
All the while the animals crawled over her she lay crumpled in front of him. Her last thought having been...I failed you...Locke.
