Casey jumped slightly when she heard the voice to close. Grinning she bit her lip, and closed her eyes for a moment as if playing a guessing game. “Hmm, I wonder who could be lurking around.” She teased before she turned around her face him, her bright hazel eyes meeting his. “Must be that handsome someone from the coffee shop,” she said with a smile, hovering just inches from his face till she realized how close she was and took a few steps back. “So what’s the plan for lunch?” she asked turning to walk down the path more towards the center of the park, glancing back to make sure he was coming too. Turning her attention to the path in front of her, she took notice of some people who were also out enjoying the beautiful day and park scenery.

Robin chuckled and smiled when she called him handsome. He followed her alongthe path. Well, there's plenty of vendors in the park. They have amazing hotdogs, and funnel cakes. But... then the picnic I made would go to waist. he pouted at her a bit with the last one.

Casey smiled when he followed alongside her and licked her lips when he mentioned funnel cakes as it sounded so good, though not a traditional lunch food. His next comment made her steps falter slightly and she looked over at him. “A picnic? You seriously set up a picnic?” she asked quizzically, staring him down a moment as if reading his mind. Too bad that wasn’t one of her powers. As she was looking at him, the surprise must have been evident in her eyes, she wasn’t expecting anything like that from a guy she’d just met the day before and that made her question his intentions.

Robin smirked. What? I'm not allowed to have a picnic with a lovely lady? he asked and gently gripped her shoulder to turn her around. Reveling the a light blue blanket layed out with a few sandwiches and juices and a few grapes and otehr small fruits. Shall we? he said as he stepped past her to go to the picnic and glanced over his shoulder to see if she was coming.

Casey opened her mouth to tell him that a picnic was fine; she just wasn’t expecting something like that. And then he spun her around to see it all laid out and it made her heart flutter in the slightest way. A picnic was something that was very romantic in her head, a guy and girl in love, relaxing on a blanket in the soft grass of a beautiful park, kissing more than eating and fooling around. This wasn’t something she expected from him, not something in her mind that was first date material. “I think we shall.” She whispered more to herself and followed the man over to the spot, looking down at all the items before gracefully lowering herself to the ground.

Robin smiled crookedly. Happy to see a smile on her face. He plopped down next to her on the blanket and grabbed the bowl of grapes. Here try these. They're really sweet. he said then grabbed a ham sandwich from the plate in front of them.

Casey looked down, taking note of all the different things here to try for lunch, all the thought he must have put into this. When offered the grapes, she gently reached out and took the bowl, popping one into her mouth with a grin. “They’re delicious,” she said softly, letting the tangy sweetness of the fruit melt in her mouth. Setting the bowl down, she reached out for a sandwich also and took a bite, nodding in approval at the taste. When finished with the bite, she looked to him, her eyes flicking over his features and opened her mouth to speak. “So what made you think of all this? Why a picnic in the park and not just lunch at a nice restaurant?” she asked curiously.

He shrugged as he set down his food and turned to face her. I don't know really. I like being outside. It's why I chose the job I do. And... all day yetserday I couldn't get you out of my head. I wanted to see you under the sunlight. his eyes locked with hers, he wanted to reach out and touch her cheek, stroke her soft looking hair. He was glad she had worn it down for their lunch date. Was this a date? the thought hadn't occurred to him before now...

“I see,” Casey said looking up at the sunlight. She loved it outside too, and now with the way he was looking at her she was pretty certain this was indeed a date. The question was what would it lead to? “I hate to admit it, but I thought of you yesterday too. Don’t you think it’s strange though?” she asked as she finished her sandwich, and setting the plate down, reached to something to drink. She poured herself a glass and looked to him to ask if he wanted some, catching those eyes on hers made her breath catch in her throat, and she just lifted the glass to her lips and took a sip, letting her eyes fall to the ground.

I'm not sure what to think where you're concerned Casey. he admitted as he reached for his sandwich again and finished it off. Then he poured himself a glass of juice and sipped it before setting it aside. He gazed out at a young couple with three small children running around them. He wished that could be him one day. But that was impossible. His mind as too unstable fo rthat to ever be a possiblity.

Casey watched him for a moment as he poured himself a glass of juice. She nodded at his words as she wasn’t sure what to think of him either, or what it was that this was. Setting her half empty glass onto the blanket, she followed his gaze out to the couple and their kids. “They’re so cute when they’re that little.” She voice with a soft friendly smile. She had always wanted something like that; a nice little family to take care of. But the first step to that was finding the right guy to love and support you. She found lots of guys who wanted to love on her in the past, but none of them ever wanted more than that. Now she was beginning to think that wasn’t her future that she wasn’t meant for that kind of life. Turning her gaze back to Robin, she picked up a grape and popped it into her mouth, her eyes on him but her mind starting to wonder off.

Robin didn't say anything as he wantched teh couple wonder off after their kids. Only when they were out fo sight did he look over to find Casey staring at him. He smirked at her and grabbed a grape. He stared at it in his hand for a moment before holding it up to her lips for her to eat. He didn;t know what possessed him to do such a thing.

Casey’s attention was brought back to the present when suddenly there was a grape being held at her lips. Tilting her head at him, she leaned forward into his hand and took the grape with her teeth, letting her lips slide off his fingers in a slowly teasing way. This really wasn’t natural to her, being sexy and seducing around a guy, eating things out of his hand, she was more the person who would be throwing the grapes, trying to get them into the guy’s mouth. Maybe that was why no guy ever took her seriously enough to really date her and find something here. But here, now, it felt right in a way, like it was completely ok to act like this. She ran her tongue along her lips and she finished the grape and reached to pluck one out of the bowl, scooting closer so she was practically in his lap and held it out for him to eat; a simple innocent look in her eyes.

He chukcled lightly as he gently took teh grape with his teeth and bit into it. As he swallowed it he reached up without thinking and slid his fingers into her hair. His eyes locked with hers, he wa completlye aware of how close she was to him. He leaned closer, his heart pounding in his ears. Her lush curves pressed to his hard body as he captured her lips with his.

Casey watched his eyes the whole time, feeling his rough fingers in her wavy hair and once again she found breathing hard to come by. As he leaned closer she could hear his heart beat or maybe it was hers growing louder, perhaps even a combination of the two drumming loudly in time to each other. Whatever it was made her head spin, and her eyes drifted closed as their lips met in maybe the most perfect moment of her life. Moving closer, she pressed herself more against him, moving other his body and deepening the kiss when her foot hit the juice, knocking it over. In that moment she instantly put up a force field, diverting the liquid away from them, though it ruined the whole picnic theme. “Fuck.” She muttered letting the force field down and rolling over onto her back in the grass, smacking herself in the forehead as she stared at the bright blue sky.
