I like Florida because it reminds me of Andrew. I'll ask Meg.
Nicki, follow her on Twitter.

Nothing good comes from there =] ...you...do...? You can move The Academy wherever you want. Do you think that moving it will actually have an impact, though? :/ I wish people would like, write up what they'd like Mosh to be, in a perfect world, and then we could combine ideas and stuff. But I feel like when I ask people that, the response is not...great. Maybe I'm the only one that would change anything?

I'd give you my ideas... well, if I had any. [/uncreative.] I'm with the others; maybe if we moved the school it'd spark a new interest. c: Maybe a country no one's heard about. * Or a popular country. [Jeeze, I suck at decisions..] My favorite country is Spain. Or Russia. I am indeed very fond of Russia. And Poland... but hands down my favorite country is Spain. C: Or any other south/central american country. Because I like Spanish. -blatantly ignoring Brazil-
... Spanish is just so pretty. ;A;
Eh, maybe the school could have liike.. a younger-older kind of system? In my school, the first years are paired up with either a second or third year ['cause the 4th and 5th years are too busy with senior project, but that's not my point] based off interests. It could be based off Gifts or species or something in this case. XD
Just a suggestion to help people interact with each other. >.<; It'd be optional, because I guess it'd be annoying to be forced to do that.. ;-;.
[I know I got paired off with some really annoying kid in real life. She kept trying to ruffle my hair.]
-floats away-
*you know how hard it was not to make a Canada joke? pretty darn hard. but I refrained. c: Because I'm going to Canada during the summer..~
Oh, and feel free to ignore this post if you thought it was dumb. c:

All I know is that my kiddos are pretty invested in New York right now, and I can't say that they would move if the Academy did, seeing as none of them go there...
I really don't think moving the school will help. Location isn't the problem; it's activity.

Maybe I'm the only one that would change anything? Well I definitely think we need more advertisements (I could do that if you want, I have no problem doing so) mainly to attract fresh blood. I also think we could make some new plots or w/e, like a really dynamic one. Like say somebody causes people to switch abilities...that would make for an interesting scenario. If not that, then we really should get a huge mystery plot...like one in which a character goes crazy and we all have to guess which character is the "big bad" and it could be any one, literally. Just some ideas. I for one, like MOSH the way it is, but it could use some tiny tweaks here and there.

By the way, I will definitely say that I love the way the creators of this site run things. They're all very good people and the decline of the site is not because of a lack of effort or goodness (for lack of a better word) on their part, but because of...well life.
I think more people will get things flowing nicely.

What I think has happened (in combination with life taking over) is that because our characters have grown up and matured, and the setting hasn't, it makes it more difficult for us as the writers to make them belong.
I propose something of a fresh start. The majority of the veterans' characters are now graduated and away from the school. I think we should pull away from the school being the main focus of the site, and maybe concentrate on New York as the main setting, and the school merely a subboard where the younger characters can still participate. Other locations some characters are in (example; Eiji's in England, Kellan's visiting family in Ireland) can be represented by an 'Other Places' section. This can all be punctuated with a fresh, new skin and site layout. Once we have the stage set, we can start advertising like crazy - because advertising right now will only attract people to a dead site. We'll call ourselves a Gifted/Fantasy City Rp, instead of a Gifted/Fantasy School Rp. We're older now, and we should emphasize that.
I'll of course volunteer to help - I want MOSh back just as badly as the next guy!
**Aaaand I re-read all that, and just want it known that this is merely my suggestion, and I in no way think it's the only way to go!
Thoughts?

I definitely agree with ^ Nicki.
I think to help everything, maybe there should be a slight time skip...that way everyone can be out of school and have it make sense. Or...maybe the school could be attacked and destroyed, that way there's a logical reason why people wouldn't be going there.
Maybe the normal people decide that they don't like the gifted or fear them, and destroy the school? Maybe we could get the Army involved! Like the army begins hunting down the gifted... I know it sounds crazy, but maybe a cool storyline is in there somewhere.
I really want us to be revived and full-on-MOSH-mode. =)

Nicki's idea is good. I hear a lot about the plots etc. of you oldies' (for lack of a better word of course ) characters, but since they've grown up, a lot of it doesn't seem to get written down, because the school is the main focus. I'm not sure who I'd come back and play when we re-vitalized here, but I think that all of my own characters, and possibly everyone else's too would benefit greatly from something like that. I'd not actually thought of that before you said it, but when you did, it sort of fell into place for me. So I'm with that suggestion, but of course, we could still focus on the school, and maybe make it a more active part of the gifted community outside. Curse my obsessive Grammar Nazism making me write the captcha incorrectly >=(

Um, whatever the consensus here is good enough for me, but I probably won't be involved much/at all. Creative differences, etc.

Maybe we could get the Army involved! Like the army begins hunting down the gifted... Sorry, but I can't see myself partaking in something that portrays the United States Army, or any branch of the US military, like that. I don't really care if that sounds petty or anything. Plus, Heroes already did that... And Nicki... umm, Kellan's not from Ireland. Her dad is originally and she visits her granddad there during the summer, but she's from Kent.

xD Army = a bit much. I don't think it'd be easy to roleplay how a bunch of reclusive gifted people etc. would react to something like that.
Also I don't like the army either.

I thought I hit 'quote' but instead hit 'modify' on your post. Don't worry, I restored it to what it originally said - just wanted to explain the 'last edit' tag on it. Basically I suck. Also, I'm terrible with Geography. Sorry for the mix up. It would still be considered 'Other Places' though, in this scenario.
