Lucky: Unnecessary & hard to define. Mag also uses Temporal Manipulation to cheat at casinos just fine.

Request: Addition to my own 'Open RP Rules' under Laws of the Land. To include. "Open RPs are just that, open to anyone. If you'd like to take up an open RP, but do not have the time to write a response (Or a response of the length/detail you deem needed.) then please make a short OOC post in the thread stating that you are working on a post for the topic. EG: 'OOC: I'm writing a post for this, but I need some more time.' This informs other members that the topic has been 'claimed' as it were, and we won't have four different members writing replies to the same topic, and getting frustrated when the conflict happens. When you are ready to post, simply edit your placeholder and continue as normal. It should be considered poor form to claim a topic and then 'forget' about it, so please treat it as a normal RP topic when you claim it." I will add this. Additionally, claiming should be done as soon as you know you want to post in the thread. :)? EDIT: If you would prefer to add this yourself, let me know, and I'll unlock the topic for you. |

Can we limit Precognition to avoid metagaming? Can you make it so someone has to square it with the other person before being able to use their gift, as it gives the RPers, not jsut the characters, an advantage >.<.

It is limited...I'm not sure why it's not listed as such. I must have c+p'd it improperly when switching over to our new, pretty-looking Gifts list. I'll add it in and PM the character in question. Don't reply until an edit has been made.  Additionally, precogs see visions of the future...to tell your character's sex, someone would need to have a vision of your character showering or something, or one where he overheard someone calling him a boy...and that doesn't mean he'd believe it. |

So I made my character, right? And I figured before posting him, I should make sure to go over the gifts and stuff again (I was high off strep medicine when I first did ><). And then I realized, 'aww, they do limit it' but then you said to post it in the suggestions so here I am...suggesting.
Ithi can animate inanimate objects. And he has omnilinguism. I could totally drop the language stuff if I can keep the Animate. D; oh, and I'm still kind of loopy from the meds, sorry for any grammar/spelling/etc errors. @~@

Eidetic Memory would allow your character to have omnilingualism. Technomancy would allow manipulation of inanimate objects, so long as they're tech-related. If those aren't quite what you're looking for, we can discuss the possibility of adding new gifts.

Question: I dunno whose really good at making skins for this place, but I notice that a lot of them are very 'loud' colors, or very bland. There doesn't seem to be any real intermediate.
I mean I was going to pick one with the simple criteria that I wanted the main color to be blue or green and you'd be amazed with what trouble I had.
Any way I try to phrase this comes out sounding presumptuous and arrogant, so I'll just say it with the assurance that I do not intend for it to sound that way.
Would it be possible to recruit the help of someone who can make skins well, since I am artistically retarded?

But animate is kind of more than manipulating objects. It's sort of like putting life into it. For example, someone with it could animate a doll and hear it talk about...what a doll would talk about. Tea and politics.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure it would fit into our world. All our Gifts and whatnot are scientifically explainable-ish, and I'm not sure that animation would be. You could have a Half-demon of...Animation (<- trait) or something, half-gifted one with Eidetic Memory. Otherwise, I'm not sure we could fit your animation ability in. Sorry for the inconvenience. Well, could you call it puppeteering? Like you don't exactly put real life in them but you can control them like they are puppets? Or is that the same as something else...Sorry just suggesting >.<

Or you could have invisible strings that control the objects that's been done a few times in anime. I'm not trying to be difficult or anything..

A halfer would theoretically work. I just have to get over my aversion to roleplay samples and potential failure. :D But if that doesn't work I could do the puppet thing because that's the best thing I've heard since sliced bread. When did people start slicing bread? It couldn't have taken much imagination to think, "I should cut this!" but I think maybe that expression is talking about the presliced bread... anyway.
Halfer or gifted. x.x I'll just go make an application/sample for both.
