For the rewards system:
I see you don't have much down for dragons. You could withhold the ability to use special breaths (healing, ice) until a certain post amount, or restrict flight somehow?
You've also been saying "Earth Dragon" everywhere, but the species list says "Forest Dragon."

You've also been saying "Earth Dragon" everywhere, but the species list says "Forest Dragon." there's a low reward list for dragons because they are easily the most powerful species we have available. So in choosing, you choose to start powerful, and not really grow. It's supposed to be Forest Dragon. I'm used to Earth Dragons because that's how my sister and I used to run them (we've had different dragons for years; War and Royal are solely our creations). that's me mistyping, like I do with Monroeville... err... Masonville.

I've seen this on other forums, and I really like the idea, figured I could suggest it for an idea to play around with.
A 'Future RP' section. Just one board (is that what they be called? I'm guessing because the boards in them are called 'subboards' ;D) that can be used for roleplays set in the future (or the past if you prefer.) At first I thought it was sort of ridiculous, but then I picture actually have one and the idea has really grown on me. Imagine writing out a rp as if your character was married to the person they are dating, right now? Or if the ended up with someone else? Would Kengela still be in five years? Eijara? Or what about a funeral? What would a funeral for a member of a Lycan pack be like, for lot that's been together a decade?
And it's not just a hilarious and interesting way to kill time, but it's also sort of an insightful exercise. Trying to imagine what would be in the future, or how something now would work out down the road, gives you a better clue to the character in the present. Would Elliot ever find someone to save her from herself? Could she ever exist without the crutch of liquor? How many little Italian babies do Eve and Kaylen have, or does she turn into her mother and abandon them? What if Teagan became a corporate monster, or Noah a drunk, overweight HS football coach, like his dad?
Personally, I would love to write a straight-edge, love-struck Elliot, but that's a girl that only exists in the years to come ;D
Just an idea :)

Jsut an idea
I see what you're saying, and it's a neat idea, but do we need a whole section for it? Wouldn't Fan Works suffice?
My two cents, cause I can't ever keep my mouth shut XD

Yeah, I was thinking that my only complaint was also the space aswell. Perhaps a subboard in FW? That's about as minimal space as I see actually working.

It seems to me that just putting: 'AF' or 'Future' or something in the topic title, like people put (Open) in their threads would be sufficient.

I really don't see why we'd need to do more than the fanfics. Otherwise we'd just be running two RPs, and that seems rather tedious to me. I've got no problem with futurfics though, or if you really want to RP a possible future with someone. It would be a fanwork though.

Actually, I was discussing this with someone on the board the other day.
Because RP!time is parallel to RL!time, it would take 5-7 years for a young character to graduate. Another few years to develop relationships, get married and start a family. What if you want to RP the children ? Will it take 17 years till you can roleplay a child of a current character ?
Maybe a separate section can be put up, either on its own or inside each board, to identify what is set in the distant future ? Fanfictions are generally what can happen, or what has happened, and unless stated, they aren't really canon.

one could always do a time skip type thing. I've seen that done before on forums with mixed results. Like, everyone agrees to jump ahead a few years or something.
I'm just not so keen on effectively splitting our RPs, even if it would be for some possible future. think if it like a book, you don't necessarily have to know everything that happens to a character.

What about just...saying every 'x' amount of months that go by in RL time...that means a year has gone by in RP time? Just a suggestion...

The reason I don't really agree with the time skip thing, is because some threads take an epic long time to finish.
I don't really care either way, until a situation arises where I would like to have my characters age. I'm only suggesting because I know I'm not going to be roleplaying until I'm beyond 30, and it'd be nice to RP out my characters in their different stages of life without having to wait that long. Agreeing to skip a certain number of years eventually could cause a problem, because some people want their younger characters to stay the same age, or some characters are in their peak years (character purpose wise).
