"No, silly." She told him. "Aaran's jealous because you went to Ithi's room! Last time Aaran was there, it was because he had..." Aponi stopped and looked at Jay. "You won't tell anyone that he's a boy, right? I think me and Ithi are the only ones that know." She said, one eye growing larger than the other, before she settled them back into shape.
She watched with some amusement as Jadyn suddenly drew his breath. The feeling of having that power over someone was comforting - usually, if she wanted any sort of reaction, it'd have to be something sexual by nature, but the fact that this awkward teenage boy was shocked into submission, just because she told him how much she actually carred about him made her feel a little giddy inside.
When he kissed her forehead, her cheeks turned a bright red colour, and she smiled wryly. As he turned to sit down, she pulled his collar, aiming for him to tumble on top of her.
"Jay, you make me smile, you silly boy." He said, running her hands through his hair. "And I don't mind how lame you think you are." She said, putting a finger to his nose. She kissed him, and rolled out and stood on her feet at the edge of the bed. "I'm perfectly fine, Jadyn." She said, archly. SHe thought that it might be a good idea not to let him think he had her, right there and then - she could play nice until she really thought it was right. Then maybe she'd play with him some more. But in the end, she'd give them both what they wanted.

So ready to walk away from this roller coaster ride.
He hadn’t a clue who she was talking about the name sounded vaguely familiar but he had never met this person she was talking about. Jay also could care less whether a people knew that a boy was a boy. “Wait, how does not one know he’s a boy? Usually such things are kinda obvious.” The eye thing bothered him for a moment and he wondered if she didn’t have control over her molecular structure. Because usually she didn’t have such problems from the bits he’d seen her, but it wasn’t like he’d known her for months or anything.
Her words kept messing with his emotions and though he was doing his best to remain calm and collected it wasn’t one hundred percent at the moment. Jerking forward as she grabbed his collar he braced himself with an arm on either side of her. What was she doing? All of a sudden she wanted to get close and personal again? The only thing he could do was stare at her in confusion feeling her fingers over his scalp. When she came forward he had a second to react to decide whether he let her kiss him or turn away. Having taken too long he didn’t move or react as her lips met his. When she rolled out from under him he knew he’d made the somewhat right choice by at least not kissing back.
Jay turned to stare at her not sure what the deal was with her tone or her actions. Eyes narrowing he sat back leaning on his arms as he glowered at her. “Am I your yo-yo? One minute you tell me some romantic mumbo jumbo, or slapping me, then back to kissing me? Now you sound mad at me. If this is how it’s going to be then I’d rather skip to the part where you tell me the truth. Or what the hell is going on.” He stood his gaze icy as he skirted past her to find his eye patch suddenly feeling the need to hide his eye. “You tell me one thing then do another. Either you’re lying, messing with me, or denying yourself. Whichever it is I’d rather not be dragged along the bottom until you decide to let me in on which it is.”
If this was how she was going to treat him then he was going to end it now. Even if it meant being alone and probably losing her as a companion to turn to in time of need. When people truly cared about each other they didn’t want to see them hurt, and right now she was twisting his insides up rather painfully. Slipping on the eye patch he sighed staring at his desk top.

Aponi looked at Jay. Enough was enough. She could tell by his expression that she was hurting him now, and it really wasn't his fault that he wasn't very good at figuring things out. Maybe his parents had dropped him when he was a baby. She didn't feel especially inclined to ask that question at that moment.
"Jay, you know, for someone brighter than the average jock, you really are stupid sometimes." She said, with a giddy little laugh. "Well, that isn't fair," she said, voicing her mind quickly before he could get a word in, "you just don't know anything about girls. We're all the same, whether we're a hundred and thirty." she drew herself up to a towering six foot plus, now, and her face appeared wearied, if not old. Her eyes were the thing that she really changed. They appeared fierce and sharp, and refined, like some bird that knew the answer to every riddle ever told.
"Or just seventeen." She said, shrinking back to her seventeen-year-old height, her eyes filled with bright naivety, and her face young and glowing. She smiled warmly at Jay. She couldn't ruin this now. She wouldn't let herself. So, keeping her emotions firmly in check she continued.
"We all like to play games, and wind people up. It's just in our nature. My problem is, that I like to play a little more than most." She shrugged. "It's just how I am. I think that we do it to protect ourselves, because I'm quite easily hurt." She said simply.
"The truth is, Jay... I..." She stumbled over her words. She wasn't exactly sure how strongly she felt for him, or if the fact that her feelings weren't born as a result of her lack of a male presence in her life. However, she knew that regardless of how she felt, she could not bring herself to utter the 'L' word. It just brought back memories of her father, and her brother. Just thinking about it made her heart wrench, after the week she'd had.
"I really like you." She finished, regaining her composure. "A lot." She added, blushing. She sat down next to him, and laid her hand on his. He'd probably call her a perverse old hag, or something, and tell her to get the hell out. But she was clinging to the hope that he wouldn't, or risking facing another dreadful week. Her hope shone from her very figure, almost, and she was the most vulnerable she had ever been. Ever.
She looked again at the moderately awkward-looking young boy, with an eye patch, and the dark bangs that seemed to be forever in his face. There came over her a great urge to mother him, to protect him, and stop all the bad things in the world getting to him - but she carefully avoided that, whether it be in thought or action. After all, that's what had happened with Aaran, and she hadn't seen him in god knows how long. She felt so ashamed with herself, and Jay's momentary silence following her statement didn't help one bit.

Nothing like a good quality awkward moment
As soon as she called him stupid he whipped around fire in his eyes ready to lash out big time but she jumped in to correct herself. Standing there ready to explode he watched her age and grow then go the opposite direction. Her smiles didn’t sooth him or quiet the sudden hurricane of burning rage tearing him up inside. She just had to keep pushing him didn’t she? Hands clenched into tight fists Jay ground his teeth together to keep from bursting out with whatever was going on in his head.
When she stumbled upon her words he exhaled loudly and quickly in a huff and turned back around. Her little apology, explanation, or whatever it was just wasn’t cutting it this time. A part of him just refused to believe a single word she was saying. He’d met plenty of girls in his short life time and none of them acted like she did. Not many talked to him or spent much time with him that was true, but the fact remained that none of them were like her. If they hurt him they meant to. If they were kind to him they were shy and usually rushed off. None yanked him around or raise his hopes only to toss them off a cliff seconds later. What frustrated him even more was that he barely knew her and she was able to do this to him. Maybe it was because he’d never really liked someone before, or gotten very close to people. Whatever the reason he knew that getting close to her would be very bad for his heart.
Picking up a small, smooth black stone from his desk he stared at it his hand wrapping around it. And then a hand covered that fisted hand and it was as though that hand stopped his heart. Jay turned his gaze toward her slowly not at all prepared to see that look in her eyes. Now his heart like a feather being tossed about in the wind fragile, hesitant, and above all scared. His eye narrowed, brows furrowed, and he just couldn’t smile. A voice told him that she was lying, that she didn’t meant it, and that he was only going to get hurt. She only wanted him around so she could entertain herself when she was bored. But then there was a small, hushed, delicate voice that told him: hope. Take that step off the cliff and see if for once someone would be on the bottom to catch him.
“I…” His face crumbled in fear and pain and he pulled away wrapping his arms around his waist. Throughout his life he was taught that people didn’t love him, didn’t want him, and were only there to hurt him or abandon him. To just suddenly trust her, care for her, could he do it? He really didn’t want to be alone anymore, but would he survive their topsy turvy backwards kind of relationship? Then her face flashed in his mind’s eye so filled with hope. Jadyn slowly shifted to face her again his eye focused on the floor knowing he wouldn’t have the strength to do this if he met those eyes.
“I’ve never liked someone before, ever, and honestly, I don’t know if I can.” His heart beat slowed as he spoke cautiously and slowly each word feeling like a million. “I know I don’t trust you, and…a very large part of me knows that the only thing that will come of this will be one or both of us hurt, or broken.” Taking a deep breath he gazed at her for a moment before dropping his gaze again. “Dammit, you probably don’t even mean what you said in that way, or at all.” The words came out of his mouth like knives his defenses jumping to the forefront.
Why couldn’t anything be easy? Why did emotions have to complicate everything? Nearly shaking he stormed away from her only to storm right back glaring at her. Then glaring at the floor his hand convulsed and the stone in his hand cracked into three pieces. “Damn it all to hell, Aponi! You drive me nuts!” Throwing the stone on the floor he darted forward to push his lips against hers his hands moving to grip her upper arms. Then just as quickly he jumped away afraid she’d smack him again. “There…that’s your answer.” She was going to be mad at him he just knew it.

Aponi winced as Jay picked up the stone. The way he held the stone, the way that it was totally at his mercy, and he could throw it about as he pleased, or even crush it, was exactly the same was as he had Aponi's heart. Metaphorically of course. But, to Aponi, it felt just as real as if he were holding her heart in his hand.
She grew very upset, as he seemed to ignore her, and turn away. The wave of rejection she felt from that was devastating. She was reduced almost to tears. She didn't understand what Jay was going through, and didn't pretend to, either, she just knew how she felt, and, how she wanted him to feel.
She'd never really met any boys that she liked. Sure, she'd met many that were happy to keep her company on a lonely night, but none that she had actually liked, just for being themselves. No, a good man was hard to come by, or so she was told. She figured that Jay was good as any, even if he was only sixteen. That didn't matter to her, really. The chances of her actually meeting a decent guy her age was remote, as most of them were tricky life-sucking monsters.
She turned back to him, as he looked at her, carefully avoiding her eyes. Then he started to speak.
Why did he have to speak?
Every word was like a knife, stabbing her in the gut, and every time he paused, it felt like it was being twisted slowly round. He hated her. She couldn't even win the love of a stupid, weak, sixteen year old kid. She was disgusting. She had a strong urge to kill herself, there and then. Just when she didn't think things could get any worse, he broke the stone into three pieces. She almost threw up, although, she wasn't exactly sure how, or what a demon would throw up.
And, throwing it on the floor, he kissed her. What the hell!? Was this kid crazy? She kissed him back feverently, somewhat disappointed when he withdrew. She leaned forwards, and looked at him ruefully. He had played her exactly the same way she had played him so many times.
A wry grin crept across her face. Her tongue poked out a little between her teeth, before she burst out laughing, walking towards Jay, and shrinking a little. Her eyes searched his before she kissed him once more.
"Jay, you're so funny." She positively tittered. She reached down, and grasped his hands in her own, and squeezed them tightly. "Don't you have a problem with me being an ancient old hag?" She asked archly, a smile still tugging at the corners of her lips, and an almost smug look was in her eyes.

Notexpecting her to kiss back so urgently he gasped when he pulled away eye wide in shock. Not even an hour ago or so he'd gotten his first kiss and now they were kissing every five minutes or so. His body had gone from never touching anyone or kissing anyone or liking anyone to 180 degree shift. It was taking a little bit to get used to. He knew one thing for sure was that he enjoyed physical contact, a lot. Course most boys his age did but now he knew why his gender went crazy for girls. It felt amazing! But he didn't want any relationship to be based solely on that and he knew Aponi would have none of it.
Her laughter jerked his attention upwards to her his chest tightening considerably. She had been messing with him after all. Laughing at his stupidity and gullibility of falling for her ridiculous charms. Then she was kissing him again? Wait, no what was going on? His gaze darted all over her face trying to find something to tell him what to do. When she had said earlier that he knew nothing about girls she had hit it dead on. Not only did he not know girls but he most certainly didn't know women, full grown women. How on earth did he get messed up with a woman. Not some girl, not a tad older, or a tad younger, but a full fledged woman. He'd basically fallen for a cougar, or whatever that saying went. Not fallen, that would be pushing it too far but he knew he liked her.
Her hands on his made him drop his attention down to those clasped hands and a part of him knew what was going on. This was real, she meant the words floating about in his head. "It'll probably be a problem. The age difference." No way was he going to lie to her because if he wanted this he wasn't going to start it by lying to her. "But dragons live a long time too so it's not that big of a deal in my culture. It's not like I have anyone that will care who I'm dat- um, friends with." Jay wasn't about to declare them dating because he didn't know what they were or what they were going to be. Would it even be a public relationship? The students around the school would tear him apart for dating an older woman. Though she could just visit him in her teenage form he supposed.
Staring at her he smiled lifting a hand to touch her face gently needing to make it real somehow. "You might be a crazy, ancient old hag, but you're a gorgeous old hag." He bit his bottom lip again but not nearly as hard as he hoped he hadn't just said something incredibly stupid. "Is it going to bother you that I'm a weak lil' kid?"

"You were going to say dating." She said, pouting ruefully at him. "And, however old I may really be, I can always just appear seventeen..." She put her finger to the corner of her mouth, resting her chin on her thumb. "Or, whatever you want, really." She smiled. One of the advantages to dating a demon, was that Aponi could change her appearance at will. Of course, she had stayed in the same kind of form for a long time, and a new one would take some getting used to, but if it was really what he wanted...
"I could always pretend to be a student." she said, simply. "I won't go to classes, but I can still hang out with you in school." She beamed at him. "If you want me too, that is." She shivered slightly in excitement as his hand touched her face. She couldn't care less how much of a douche his comment made him, it didn't matter anyway. At least his heart was in the right place.
"Jadyn, it couldn't bother me less." She laughed. "Aaran's much, much weaker than you. Being a half-fae that looks for all the world like the prettiest and most fragile thing you ever saw..." She trailed off. "Sorry, what was my point again?" She asked, a little annoyed with herself. "Oh, yeah. He's weak. But, I still love him, so that's all ok." She winced at having accidentally used the "L" word. But, for some reason it didn't really matter to her, not much anyway. Jay having, somewhat reluctantly, kissed her in answer to her unspoken question. She leaned forward, and wrapped her arms around him, and nuzzled his neck a little, the same warm, giddy feeling coming over her, like every time she embraced him.

So she'd caught that little bit about him dodging the word dating, huh? His gaze darted down his stomach twisting slightly. She was being to kind to him all of a sudden, saying the most understanding thoughtful things. Was this how it was going to be? Or was it going to be more like what their relationship had been so far: a roller coaster? Either way he didn't care he'd take both sides of her even if the roller coaster was bound to drive him insane.
Her skin felt so soft against his so much so that he had to smile as she shivered. "I'm not going to ask you to change, be something you're not, or make you do anything. If you want to hang around school, then hang around school. If you want to look twenty or sixteen it's up to you." Either way he was bound to get razzed from the bullies about her. She was far too beautiful, and far too strong to be with a guy like him. Then an idea popped into his head. If she hung around the school with him and the bullies saw then when she was hanging around waiting for him those same bullies could approach her. He was pretty sure she could take care of herself but if they would say a single bad thing to her, or hurt her.
His eyes were suddenly blood red and he felt rage erupt in him like a volcano, spontaneous and hot. But she was talking so softly and even though he couldn't even see anything but red he didn't move. Where had the rage come from? Jay could barely even breathe and he was trembling slightly from doing everything in his control to remain calm. The word love was the only thing that really got through to him and he blinked at her in shock his brain not processing correctly. Then her arms were around him and he inhaled deeply his arms wrapping around her slowly.
"I'm sorry Aponi but I didn't hear a word you just said...other than one word." He breathed her in trying to shove the rage away, shove away the thoughts that he was pretty sure had started it in the first place. "I was just thinking if someone hurt you because you were with me, or saying something to you. I just...I don't want to hide you but maybe you shouldn't come to the school." I want to protect someone. Not just a someone but her. I barely know this crazy woman but the thought of someone hurting her.. "I know you can take care of yourself, but if you were ganged up on, or something."
His throat closed up and he held her even tighter so confused by these emotions. He was a cold hearted, cynical, jaded, scrawny jerk and yet here he was a blubbering fool all because one girl said she liked him. The heart was a very odd thing.

"Jay, you should really listen more often." She said, fire in her eyes. She nipped his cheek. it would probably sting for a second, but she didn't intend to hurt him. Much. She smiled almost ruefully, before pouncing away from him, and dancing to a standstill next to the window.
"And, if you really don't mind, I'll keep looking like this." She said, with a certain hint of finality. She ran her fingers down the cold windows. She threw a side-ways glance at Jay. Hopefully he'd follow, and make her feel happy. Until then, she stood next to the cold air of the window, the day having turned into evening.
Her plan, however, was shattered, when he started speaking again. It was total drivel. But she noticed the slowly receding rage on his face, and could almost tell that there were more to his words. She stalked back towards him, and cradled his face in her hands.
"Dear, dear Jadyn." She smiled a dreamy smile. "I'm a demon of ash. There's always a volcano erupting somewhere, and that's a lot of ash, that will come pretty quickly when summoned." She grinned maliciously. "Have you ever heard of pompeii?" Her teeth flashed, pearly white, in an evil snarl. She scared herself sometimes, and the idea of being literally petrified probably didn't appeal much to Jadyn. No-one crossed Aponi and got away with it. No-one.
"Don't worry about the other kids. Unconventional methods aside, I hit people pretty hard for a girl." She laughed, a deep, velvety smooth laugh. She kissed him once more, and sat down, cross-legged. "And anyway, Jay, what was the word?" She asked. The depression that seemed to have come over her when she had seen her father had started to come back a little and she was very, very careful not to let it show. Guys worried about those kind of things.
She hoped.

The nip sent a jolt from the nip down his spine making goose bumps spread over his arms and neck. His mouth was now dry, but he kept his mouth shut not wanting to egg her on, or get slapped for saying the wrong thing. He nodded at her decision to stay as she was figuring that there would be times that she’d change, but that was alright with him too. If she could handle him the way he was with his scrawny arms and eye patch, then he could handle her being a tad older looking.
Feeling a bit stupid for the way she looked at him when he spoke about her getting hurt; he tugged at his hoodie’s sleeves staring at the floor. “Yes, I’ve heard of Pompeii.” Jay mumbled still not meeting her eyes though her holding his face did make that bit a little difficult. “But it would take time for ash from such a great distance to come to you, and in that time someone could hurt you. And no offense to your strength, Aponi but I’m sure there are people out there with stronger fist power.” She might be an incredibly powerful demoness with amazing powers, but one thing he’d learned there was always someone stronger.
He leaned into the kiss but it ended far too quickly for his soothing rage but he bit his tongue instead of making himself an ass. Instead he just cursed and made snide comments in his head like usual. “Word? What word?” Grinning he moved over to her to sit next to her lifting a hand to run through her soft hair. “It’s far too soon for that word anyway, but maybe someday.” His voice dropped to a bare whisper at the end of the sentence gaze focused on Ruby staring at them. A part of him didn’t think that day would ever come that she’d quickly get bored with him and move on to someone else. Someone stronger, older, and less, well him. But did it really hurt to hope?
“So now that we have all that dancing around done does that mean that we’re a, um, you know?” Wow, Jay that sounded brilliant! Obviously she doesn’t like you for your smarts. Sighing he leaned away from her completely not in his element here. It was going to take awhile to feel comfortable around her he just knew it.

"I suppose you're right." She mused. "But really Jay, why would anyone try anything?" She asked. Children these days couldn't be that bad, could they? Aaan and Jay didn't seem that bad. But then again, her adopted son dressedas a girl ebcause he was afraid of people thinking him weak.
"Jay, how do you feel about me having a son?" She asked. He was only sixteen or so, and the thought of her having a son older than him might be a bit strange for him. "Adopted, of course." She sighed. Poor Aaran. Now only had she abandoned him, but what she was doing now was exactly what had happened to him, and had happened to her. He ahd a parent taken away from him.
She smiled, ax his hands running through her hair woke her from her stupor. She looked at him with wide eyes. She raised an eyebrow dangerously at his denial, but remained silent all the same smirking. She's said Love. Of course, she was reffering to Aaran, but still.
"Yes. I rather think so. I don't think I've had a very high opinion of love until recently..." She trailed off. Her father had ran away, and lost his memories, abandoning her mother to her death. Charlie was dead, and so all that was left was Aponi, and her father. Or, fathers. The depressionw as really starting to come back, and the thought of a drink sounded good.
She laughed in response to his question, a light, ringing tone.
"I suppose you could say that..." She said, wrapping a lock of hair around her finger. She glared at him, wryly, her eyes twinkling with mirth. She leaned forward lustily, her face a challenge. "Maybe we should do couple things, if that's what we are." She left the question hanging in the air between them, her fiery challenge reflecting her true mirth.
Aponi just liked winding him up.

He refused to answer that question because if he told her then she'd just think him silly again. Besides it wasn't a truth that he wanted her to know that even being around him could cause her problems. Maybe he should just drop out of school and truly disappear from his family. No more stupid classes, and no more stupid bullies. Not that he was good at anything so it would be impossible for him to find a job. Sighing he tugged at his sleeves some more nibbling on his bottom lip.
A little shocked at her next question he lifted his head actually thinking about it for a moment before answering. "How old is he? I mean I don't want to disrupt your family, Aponi." Reaching out timidly he slipped his hand over hers intertwining their fingers. "I'm not going to demand to be first in your life." No, he'd never ask that because he didn't belong first in anyone's life. She might be first in his life eventually because he didn't have anyone else. But that would happen in time.
He nodded with her judgment on love not having a very high opinion of it himself. What he wanted to blurt out was that he didn't believe in love, and most certainly he didn't believe in loving someone forever. But yet again he kept his mouth shut learning that that was the best route in their awkward relationship.
Glancing up he caught her glaring eye going wide in shock. What had he gone and done now? As she leaned forward he leaned backward something clicking as to what she was doing. "Nuh-uh! The last time I suggested that stuff I got slapped. If you promise not to slap me sure, but if you're gonna get mad at me again then no." He glared right back at her just as he fell off the edge of the bed.

When Jay fell off of the bed, Aponi's first reaction was intense worry. She peered over quickly, her large eyes sparkling with tears, ready for he turned out to be hurt. But he appeared to be ok, so the tears of horror turned into those of mirth, as she cackled with frivolous glee, offering Jay a hand back up.
"J...Jay," She said, in between fits of laughter, "I'm s...so...sorry." She draped her arms about him, nuzzling him affectionately, and conveniently placing herself very close to his body. She could feel that there was a lot of life coming from him, but she was reluctant to take advantage of that. She kissed him, and held him close in her arms.
"Jay, saying "sure" isn't much of an indication that you want something." She said, smiling innocently. "And I only slapped you because you were thinking with your genitals." She sighed. "I've had to put up with that for the past century. No more." She sounded fairly definite. She returned to the subject of Aaran.
"Aaran's seventeen. He manages to be fairly gangly, and reasonably tiny at the same time." She smiled. He was absolutely adorable. "He dresses a girl, and calls himself Sophie. He's quite new here." She shrugged. She felt guilty for leaving him alone so long.
"Are you sure you don't have anything to drink?

When she started laughing at him he got a little hot under the collar, but as she started to get close to him again he smiled sheepishly. Sitting up to cuddle better he slipped an arm around her waist using the bed to lean against. The kiss was just as sweet as the last one and he smiled when it happened. This is the kind of life he could definitely get used to. He turned his head to kiss her shoulder breathing her in for a moment before titling his head back to rest on the side of the bed. “Well, when a hot girl is flirting with you that hard it’s hard for males not to think with our lower anatomy. And if I tell you what I want ya promise not to beat me up? I mean I’m rather fragile remember.”
Jay winked at her which looked kind of odd seeing as she could only see one eye. When the world went totally dark by simply closing his eye for a second he sighed mentally. Stupid eye. He was enjoying sitting there but then her description of her adopted son made him start and gawk at her. “He’s older than me?! How the heck is that supposed to work? What am I supposed- This is going to be awkward as hell.” Groaning he banged his head back against the bed eyes shut tight. His free hand covered his face not believing the extremely odd situation he just got into.
“Will I get to meet him? Or do you want to keep those lives separate? I’ll understand either way.” He smiled brushing the back of his fingers along her arm gazing at her. Then he blinked wondering how in heck he’d switched into mushy boy friend mode. Oh well, he was sure he’d turn back into an ass any moment or at least by midnight. At her next question he sighed shaking his head. “No, I don’t have any booze. Your problems won’t go away by drinking, Aponi.”
He stood staring down at her for a moment then smiling when an idea popped into his head. “Why don’t we do something to distract you?” That came out wrong. “Wait, no! Not like that!” Waving his hands his face turned beat red. “I mean like play a game, watch a movie, go out or, or something.” So much for being in mushy boy friend mode, he knew it wasn’t going to last long.

Oh, so Jay wanted something now, did he? But hadn't he already said that he didn't want to use the "L" word? But wasn't it lovers that made love? Or was he thinking of slutty women that'd do anything for a quick buck? But that wasn't Aponi. Not any-more. Did Jay think that of her? Who the hell didn't? Who the hell wouldn't? Even her father had realized she was a whore.
It took her a moment to realize she was being irrational, by which time, all the little particles that she could feel around them had started swirling about dangerously. She irritably told them to settle down with her mind, before concentrating on Jay's raving.
"Aaran is older than you... but, he's also a tiny adorably pathetic little half fae boy. And he is absolutely adorable. You'll like him. He's the most socially awkward person I've ever met, in some respects. And, I don't think he'll like it if he doesn't get to meet you. He's a little insecure, and we love each other ever so much." She was trying to make him jealous now. She did love Aaran. A lot. He was the apple of her eye, and she couldn't wait for the day that he'd do something spectacular and make her proud as hell.
"Jay, I can drown my problems in the mindless consumption of alcohol if I want." She said, with a certain sense of finality. "I don't really feel like doing anything. I'm harbouring a hundred years of regret, Jay. Do you know what that's like?"
{{OOC:UUUurgh. It be a fairly crap post, me lusty wench.}}
