"I'll pay for the both of us." It was an Offer Katana made from what he had read it was polite for the man to pay for the woman. But Katana wasn't sure if that was just for dates or for anything
He was very confused. He held the door open for Amber I think thats what I'm supposed to do. He thought to himself. Once they were both inside he looked at the menu. they had all sorts of things He'd just have what Amber was having.

Amber rose a brow at him when he said he'd pay. She'd asked him to join her for lunch. But she wouldn't fight him on it. She'd just pay the tip. OKay then. I'll pay the tip. she smiled at him sweetly as they sat at the table. She glanced at the menu for a like two seconds. ONe she found the taco salad she set it down. I'll just get a tea and a taco salad. Will you order while I go to the bathroom? she said then without waiting for an answer she got up and headed towards the back where she had seen teh restroom sign.

"Sure." Katana shrugged and waited for the waitress to come by The Waitress came by One Mountan Dew and one tea for drinks and two taco salads please. Katana said nicely. The waitress wrote down the order and left. Katana wondered what was going on with Amber, hopefully nothing bad.

Amber came back and sat down. She set her phone on the table and eyed it a moment, demanding it to ring. She sighed and looked to Katana. Sorry. I'm just really worried about him. I know he's staying here in New York. I just don't know where his apartment is. I haven't left the Academy in years. She smiled weakly, a bit forced.

"Not to be a smartass or anything but you didn't try the phonebook?" Katana said his tone serious showing that he cared. He noticed the smile "You don't need to force it Amber."He said softly and gently "I hope I got it right tea and Taco salad right?" He said a little worried

yeah that's right. she said and leaned back in her chair. Kolton doesn't like to have his personal busines sout to the public like that. He uses a cell phone so he doesn't have a number in teh phone book. she said.
Their food and drinks arrived then and she started mixing the saldad with her fork.

It's never easy to find someone for most people is it wait...maybe I should help out she is my roommate and hey maybe she'll be a...no I won't drag her into this. But it's like karma what goes around comes around. Katana finished chewing before he spoke "Ya know Amber, I'm really good at finding people if you could give me a picture I could find him for you." Katana offered.

maber smiled at him. That would be nice of you. Maybe i'll give him a few more days to call back. Maybe he's just busy. she said. this guy seems really nice. maybe it won't eb so bad having a male roommate. and i know plenty of people that have developed closer relationships from roommates... maybe... i don't he likes me like that though. She sipped her tea and continued eating.

Katana looked at Amber for a while if she dyed her hair black and wore red contacts she'd be A'marie Katana's old love. When he thought of A'marie he also thought Backstabber. A'marie had stabbed him in the back after all those years they had met in secret just to make out. However Katana felt a strong liking for this girl thought. He kept eating as he thought but he wanted to protect her from anything that would harm her maybe he'd keep an eye on her as she slept not to look at her body but to make sure nothing happened. "Amber...have you ever been...hated?" He asked showing a concerned face.

Amber rose a brow at him as she set down her glass. Hated? You mean like and enemy? she thought about that for a moment then shook her head. No.. i don't think so. I mean. There was this girl in elementary school, before I came to teh Academy. She um... was convinced that I had stolen her lunch one day. BUt it turned out she'd left it on the bus. She never talked to me after that, she never beleived that I hadn't stolen it and put it on teh bus myself! she laughed a bit and took another bite.

Then I hope you are never hated like I am. He thought "That's good to hear" Katana said as he took another bite as well. He'd be done soon in another two bites or so so he took a sip of his drink. Wonder how Raven's doing. He thought he then shrugged Katana liked to know a lot of things about his friends (and hopefully soon to be girlfriend.) "What about loved by people other then family?" He asked once he put his drink back down it was a question that could be taken the wrong way and give away the fact that he liked her.

She took her last bite and sipped teh last of her tea. Well. I guess so. I mean. I consider them family. My god mother and her husband. They took my and my brother in when are parents died. she fiddled with teh heart shaped locket that had once been her mother's. And I've had a few boyfriends. But they never really went anywhere. I think my brother chased them off. she laughed a bit at that.

"Your brother's protective of you?" Katana asked wondering he had a smile on showing that he was just wondering. "Listen if I ever ask you anything you don't want to tell me just say, so I won't force you to say anything you don't want to." He looked out a nearby window nothing that needed to be noticed. That was good Katana had few moments to relax he felt at peace around this girl, he liked that. "You sound like you miss him dearly."

She nodded, comfirming that Jolton was protective. Yeah i miss him. He hasn't come around much these last few years. I worry about him. she said and pulle dher wallet out of her back pocket to lay out a five dollar tip for the waitress.
What about you? Any siblings? she asked him.

Katana got the bill and handed the waitress the money. "Not that I know of to be honest where I was raised we were all considered family but I cut ties to them long ago, I hated them." Katana said with a look of anger and sadness combine. It was easy to tell that this was at no way directed at Amber.
