I walk this loenly road, the only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes, but I'm the only one and I walk alone... The had gone down an hour or so ago. It was safe for the vampire to be out.A creature of the night, always lurking in the shadows. And he was hungry. Cian had just passed his tenth year as a vampire. And he was finally beginning to gain control over his hunger. He hadn't fed on human blood in over three years, though the temptation was still all too real. He was now on his way to the butcher shop to get a few cases of pig's blood. He was running low in his dorm back at Preumbra University. He just hoped the butcher had gotten his message and was still there. It was after normal working hours. Cian stared at the butchershop buidling from the otehr side of the street. His normally icy blue eyes flashed red with his hunger. He was working up his nerve to go in. The butcher knew what Cian is.... but it didn't make things any easier.

Cerridwen had her cloak's hood up over her head hiding herself from the eyes of anyone who would be out at this hour, not that many should be out. It was after all quite late, or at least she thought it was, all the students at the academy had been put into bed, and she had found another staff member to take her place as she stealthy slid out of the academy and into the realm of creatures. Vampires, werewolves, dragons even...she hadn't been here in so long. For good reason mind you. To many memories, to many...secrets.
Cerridwen looked down at the cobblestone streets. She was nearing the forest now. Around the corner from the butcher's shop, take a left, and there it would be. The looming dark trees had always spooked her, not matter what time of day. It could have been light out, and she would still be terrified.
Normally Cerridwen didn't use this entrance, not into the fae kingdom. She normally used the fae circle in central park, that had been naturally before...well never mind.
Cerridwen stopped short though when she saw a man standing, staring at the butcher shop. Why...was he doing this? Cerridwen took a cautious step forward in hopes to not draw attention to herself. The fae weren't exactly the most loved creatures in this world. They were viewed as harsh, cold, anti-social, you could thank Minerva for the "cold" adjective. She had really given them a hard winter this year...surprise surprise.
Cerridwen kept her eyes trained on the man in front of her, being careful It was late, and it was quite odd that this man would be out here...staring at butcher shop.

Cian smelled blood. Not pig's blood. Human blood. And by the sweetness of the scent it was female. He could hear her foot steps as she came nearer. He tensed and closed his eyes, forcing back the temptation to feed. He ran the tip of his tongue along his fangs as he opened his eyes. This action was a habit of his, even after ten years he wasn't use to always having fangs.
Cian straightened and smiled crookedly at the woman. She was elegant, and beautiful. Anyone could see that right off the bat. He took another whiff and realized she was fae. He flashed her a crook smile as she came closer, careful not to show his fangs. No one was ever happy to see a vampire. Cian was wearing a simple black t-shirt and worn out jeans amd hiking boots.

Cerridwen stood up straighter now as he had noticed her. Interesting. He sensed her...she had hardly touched the ground with her feet, she was a fae after all, they were quite light, and didn't make much noise. She pushed back the hood of her cloak and looked to him offering up a small smile.
As she approached him, she noticed him gaze at her, as she gazed back. This...was interesting, odd, but interesting, she hadn't had a connection like this in a long time. Then again she hadn't been in this realm in a long, long time.
"Do...do I know you?" Cerridwen asked, pausing in her step to gaze at him. He didn't seem familiar, but then again neither did Dr. Chase and apparently she and him knew each other. Cerridwen looked on, her green eyes gazing thoughtfully at him. Why was she wasting time? She needed to get into the kingdom...not stand around here and chitchat.

Cian now realized that he had seen this lovely creature at the Academy. What was her name? Cerridwen. A lovely name for her. It fit. But as many times as he had admired her graceful moements form afar he had never spoken to her before. So he answered truthfully, No, miss. I do not believe you do. he said in a very polite way. He had learned to properly conduct himself over the last decade. He'd learned manners and patience. HIs gaze flickered to the butcher shop then back to her. His icy blue eyes growing a bit darker as he fought the hunger.

Cerridwen looked at him closer. "Are you positive?" She asked for a minute before backing off and shrugging. It was such a creepy hour to be out and about lurking. Maybe he was new and lost? Or just someone who was confused? Cerridwen tried to come off as friendly, though meeting someone in the dead of night.
"Well...are you looking..for something or someone?" She asked as a thought hit her. Maybe he lost...a pet?
Cerridwen looked around. Eryk would not approve of this. Nor would Minerva. Screw both of them. Eryk went and got himself killed when he KNEW she needed him, and Minerva deserted her, telling her to stay at the academy. That was NOT going to happen.
"Maybe I could help you?" Cerridwen offered feeling like she needed to grow a backbone and stop living in fear. She would start being brave. Bravery starting now.

Cian tensed a bit at her questions. I uh... I mean. he looked to the butcher shop. There was no light on. He'd already missed the meeting. He'd have to try again later. Or break into the place. NO.. he finally said. I was merely... taking a stroll in the moon light. It's almost full tonight and very luminous. he said as he gazed up to the glowing sphere in the sky. Then his looked back to her, his blue eyes locking with her green orbs. What are you doing out alone this late? he asked her hoping to get the topic off of him. He didn't want her to know he was a vampire.

Cerridwen looked to him stunned that he would throw the question back at her, though in all honesty she SHOULD have been expecting that. It was a completely logical question to ask. It was even weirder after al for a female to be out and about at night. Especially a night such as this.
When the boy commented on the moon, Cerridwen looked up in agreement. "Yes...the moon is beautiful." It's a great night for flight, Cerridwen added silently to her sentence. Cerridwen took another step forward and smiled. "I'm sorry, I'm Cerridwen," She introduced herself, her hand finding it's way out of the fabric and shining in the moonlight. THat's what she got for being so pale.
A lovely moon tan.
Cerridwen pushed back the hood to reveal her raven black hair tumbling down her back. There was no reason to hide anymore. He seemed friendly enough. She really didn't pick up creeper vibe, then again her senses were kind of out of commission at the moment due to lack of emotion and feeling.

((hey how old is Ceridwen? I like to know.))
he eyed her hand a moment before slowly taking her hand in a polite shake. His grip was firm, even if his skin felt a bit cold. And gazed at their clasped hands as he felt a strange feeling of.. he wasn't sure what. He did notice though that she was very pale. Course so was he. Never being in the sun and all. He missed the warmth of the sunlight. Cian Dax. he said as he flicked his gaze back up to meet hers and slowly let go of her hand. He instantly felt her absence on his skin.

(She's 221maybe, something like that xD but she looks...23?)
Cerridwen felt his firm hand shake hers, and when he released she looked to the moon. It was almost full and shining down. It was honestly beautiful, and she wanted to do nothing more than to just get rid of this cloak and take flight. It was so beautiful out, just a light breeze, and the stars twinkling above. The picture of perfection.
"I apologize if I startled you..." Cerridwen addressed, attempting at making a conversation. This was just going...splendidly. She was horrible at this kind of thing. She was usually quiet, and with Eryk, it had just been so easy...Cerridwen closed her eyes for a short moment remembering the day he had stumbled into her rose bushes. His tousled hair, Eryk's smile...the way things were before...everything happened. Everything had been so easy...so fun...
Cerridwen's eyes instantly opened and her heart beat picked up, pumping blood quicker throughout her body. That...was not something she had wanted to visualize.

((ok that works))
Cian smiled at her, still careful of his fangs. No. not at all. she hadn't startled him. He'd smelled her even before he could see her. He'd happened to stepp closer at the same time her heart picked up. Her scent assualted his senses and sent his head reeling. She smelled... sweet and inviting. His eyes flashed red for just an instant before he could pull himself toegther again.

Cerridwen felt her heart beating at a rapid pace. I need to get over him....Eryk is gone. Gone, gone, gone. Cerridwen was stuck on this guy who was gone. What better way to cure a broken heart then to find someone new. She had tried getting over him, but now...now she had a need. Cerridwen felt she needed to get back to her life. Move on.
"Were...you in a hurry? I was actually...on my way to get some tea. Couldn't sleep." She lied. It was an innocent lie. It wasn't like she was in a huge hurry to get to the fae kingdom this early anyways. Minerva might catch her.
"Maybe you'd like to join me? That's if you have time of course..." Cerridwen smiled a small smile. Shy, enticing, a very girly thing to do.

Cian let a slow crooked smile cross his lips. The smell of her clouding his judgement a bit. Um... sure. I have a bit of time. he said glancing up at the moon. The night was still young. He had a good while before he needed to find cover. But he was hungry. And she smelled so tempting. no! you can fight it. You have been sober for three years. You are stronger than that. he chastised himself as he held out his arm for her to hold. Lead the way, my lady. he said in a smooth sexy voice.

Cerridwen beamed when he said he had the time. "Excellent" She smiled, clasping her hands together now in delight. He was a very interesting looking man, though he looked younger. Possibly younger than her. Well her supposed age at least. Cerridwen didn't want to say it outloud but he looked almost like a student, which was impossible because students were suppose to be in bed right now.
"So, exactly why were you out?" Cerridwen asked feeling like a dunce. "I'm sorry. My memory is awful sometimes, and sometimes I'm just really bad about remembering things you may have told me just minutes ago" Cerridwen nodded eagerly pushing all thoughts of Eryk out of her head, and replaced them with thoughts of this man. And of course that Dr. Redwicke. Now THAT was a yummy specimen. Not that this guy in front of her wasn't. Cian? That was his name correct?
"The place is just down this road...err sort of. And to the left" Cerridwen said as she slowly made her way towards a tavern that she knew would be open and hopefully serving tea.
The moon was beautiful that night, shinning down, and causing her hair to gleam in the night. "It's a beautiful night..." Cerridwen said yet again still amazed at how beautiful the moon looked that night.

Cian chuckled a low rumbling sexy sound, the kind that filled the ears and gave you chills. Yes the night is beautiful. But I can't see how you enjoy what with you rambling on like that. he said in a teasing voice, a smirk on his face as he looked at her while they walked. He like the way her voice sounded, like tinkling bells on a wind chime.
((sry so short. wanst sure what to say to all that lol))
