Cerridwen quirked her brows at that. How could she not enjoy the sky while rambling? Talking didn't affect her view...did it? Cerridwen wasn't sure about that last comment but just merely shrugged in response.
"I suppose..." She said but grew quiet after that.
Cerridwen kept on walking, glancing up at the moon every so often, and then checking their surroundings. She didn't trust the darkness, it was just a giant monster that is capable of swallowing up one whole, and not letting them out every again. Scary stuff.
The duo neared the tavern, and though she could hear men still, and see their silhouettes in the window, it didn't look to crowded. Hopefully if they were lucky, they'd be able to get a table towards the back, away from the large, obnoxious men.
"It's just right across the street." Cerridwen informed pulling the hood of her cloak back over her head as she crossed the cobblestone street.
She certainly didn't want to be recognized in here. That would not be fun. Not at all. Especially as the Queen's sister, that would be horrible.

((ooo plot twist lol))
Cian followed her into the tavern and glanced around. He winced a bit at the loud noises. His ears were sincetive. He spotted a table near the back. He placed his hand on her lower back and guided her to it silently. He pulled out a chair for her then sat down next to her, raising a hand to call over the barmaid.

Cerridwen offered a smile when he put his hand on her lower back guiding her. Well wasn't he slightly forward and comfortable? She took a seat signaling for her usual not bothering to think about Cian. Ugh she was so bad at that sometimes. Wincing inwardly Cerridwen called the waitress over.
"Can...I have my usual.." Cerridwen asked her soft voice being downed out by the loud men.
The waitress nodded giving Cerridwen an assuring nod to let her know she got the order. "And what about for you hun" She asked. The waitress was a middle aged woman who along with her husband owned the tavern.

(OMG!!!! u finally remembered me!!!!))
Just some coffee please. he said. He didn;t really liek coffee. But he doubted that the bar would stock blood. Besides. He wasn;t ready for Cerridwen to know what he was. He leaned back in his seat and looked to Cerridwen. So i'm assuming you come here a lot then. he said to her.

(Yeah...because school is over? Remember...I said once school was out I was good? Yeahh.)
Cerridwen let the waitress go and turned back to Cian giving him her full attention once more. Did she come here a lot? Eh. Sort of?
Cerridwen lifted a hand to her hair brushing it out slightly nodding. "I do come here...sometimes" She admitted. "But not as much as I'd like. I'm far to busy. Gardening, and working to keep the academy looking the way it did way back when" She laughed slightly and shook her head. "The school needs tooo much work" She exaggerated.
Oh? Maybe he didn't know she worked there?
Cerridwen offered an embaressed smile and shrugged "If you didn't catch on, I'm the academy gardener...and grounds keeper, and fae tutor" Cerridwen added quickly making sure he knew she wasn't just a grounds keeper who had no life. She tutored too! She was useful for more than just beauty.

Cian smiled and chuckled as her rambling. She was cute when she rambled he found. I'm sure you're very good at all of it. he said. IN fact the gardens are wonderful at the academy. I like to walk the grounds at night to help clear my head. he smiled at her. He didn;t let on that he'd seen her around the campus before. She wouldn't have really seen him since he'd been looking out the windows from behind heavy curtains waiting for teh sun to set.

Cerridwen nodded pleasantly and blushed when he complimented her gardens. "Well thank you. That's very sweet." Cerridwen smiled looking away for a moment, letting the fire that had been creeping into her cheeks die before she looked back up. That was a nice compliment. Thinking about her gardens led to thoughts about Chase. Dr. Chase.
With that thought Cerridwen's cheeks were once again blazing.
Horribly, wretched fair skin. Why was I cursed with you! Cerridwen thought as the waitress returned with her tea and his coffee.
"So, you're...a staff member on campus I'm assuming?"Cerridwen asked as he looked like one. He certainly wasn't a student, nor was she allowed to really go out with students...and flirt with students like she had been. That would be bad. Very bad. If he wasn't a staff member after all how would he have seen her garden?

Cian sipped teh coffe and forced it down, fighting back a disgusted grimace at teh fould taste of it. I um... he cleared his throat. I live on campus. I offer my services when they are needed. It's not very often but i do what i can. he said. He didn't mention that his services were helping to calm the new vampires to the campus. OR getting pigs blood for those who chose not to feed on the innocent.

Cerridwen looked at him curiously. His services? "If you don't mind me asking, what do you do exactly?" Cerridwen inquired brushing a stray strand of hair aside. She kept her gaze level with his as she raised the smooth porcelain cup to her lips. The burning liquid slid down her throat causing her to wince a tad bit from the slight burn.
"Hot..." She murmured and blinked quickly surprised at how hot her tea was.
Cerridwen offered up an embarrassed smile and waited for him to proceed. What did he do? She hadn't exactly seen him around, and God knows, she's been all over that campus for various things. Gardening, tutoring, getting kids out of trees, that last one wasn't exactly abnormal but certainly not a daily routine. Thank God.
"I mean how bad can it be? I'm sure it's a lovely service" Cerridwen smiled encouragingly seeing the uncomfortable look on his face. "Trust me, I know bad. Those damn children of the moon." Cerridwen shook her head shuddering at the thought of werewolves. "Dirty dogs...." She muttered bitterly. "Scruffy..." Cerridwen added. She had her own personal reasons for hating them. "Not that those damn blood suckers are better.." Cerridwen muttered under her breath, rambled, and muttered, her words flowing together, essentially indecipherable. "But like I said, I'm sure you're not a were. You're...err no offense...not big enough" Cerridwen laughed almost embarrassed. She couldn't believe she had just said that.
Wow she needed to stop being so stereotypical.

Cian smirked and chuckled at her rambling. It really was adorable. BUt he couldn't tell her what he did at the academy. he couldn't! She'd hate him for being what he is. A vampire. A blood sucker. He had to change the subject. To distract her from her questioning. But how?
He shook his head. You don't want to know, really. It's... not very... exciting. he said, absently bringing his coffee up to his lips and sipped it. BUt he'd forgotten what he was drinking and neearly choked on teh liquid. He set the mug downa nd turned to the side, a disgusted look on his face as the aweful tatse filled his mouth and throat. He quickly straightened and turned back to her. His face stocic once more.

Cerridwen shrugged and blew it off. Well whatever. "As long as you're not one of those wretched...dogs..." She uttered disgusted. "We'll be fine" She brightened up though her insides were still boiling. Honestly, the next time she saw one of those...wretched creatures she'd kill it. It wasn't like fae were all around weak, plus she did have fae knight in her blood. Though in all honesty, that was more Minerva's forte. Cerridwen was to put it bluntly wimpy. She wasn't a fighter. Not at all.
"Well...if you insist, I'll let it drop. Though I will look for you now. Errr now that I know what I'm looking for" Cerridwen added a teasing tone in her voice.
The cavern was starting to grow quiet, and Cerridwen knew soon they'd be booted, not that it mattered, she needed to get into the fae queendom anyways. "Maybe next time we get together..." Cerridwen said, opening a door for more get togethers and meetings.

Cian smiled crookedly as she hinted at metting again. Yes... next time perhaps we can spend more time. he said as he too relized that the place was getting ready to close. He felt a twinge of hunger and his blue eyes flashed red for a few moments before returning to normal. May I walk you home? he asked as he slowly stood and offered a hand out to help her to her feet.
Cian didn't used to be so conciderate of the ladies he was around. He was a self centered egotistical bastard in high school. He had everything. Money, a car. Girls fawning over him. Popularity. But that had all been ripped from him when he was turned into the monster he is today.
Cian shook those thoughts away as he looked into Cerridwens eyes.
