On the main coffee table, a little blue candle flickered with a little blue flame. Beneath it, beginning to collect melted wax, was another note.
M,
That wasn't too hard to find Step Three is in a favourite hide-out of mine.

Several Wingrose girls had gathered around a coffee table, each one giggling. A handful had shifted the candle, but none of them were quite curious enough to read someone else's note. They saw "M" and "JE," then spent most of their time guessing who it was for.
When Morgan walked in, she quickly noticed the little gathering, and already guessed what it was about. Smiling, she hurried over to it, nodding to the other girls. She slid the note out, quickly reading over it.
"Hide-out?" she murmured, raising her brow. Several of the other girls had clustered around her, reading over Morgan's shoulder. One or two giggled, nudging Morgan. "Yeah yeah," Morgan pushed them away, "it's my boyfriend, he's sending me on some kind of treasure hunt."
That caused a flurry of giggles to let loose, and the girls all clustered, each offering their own opinion. A few already knew who Morgan's boyfriend was, through gossip, of course, and they were actually able to help.
"Does he have a favorite restaurant?"
"I'm betting they're all at school," replied Morgan, "he knows I don't have a car."
"Your room maybe?"
This caused a new round of laughter, but Morgan just rolled her eyes. "He hasn't been there--"
"Yet," finished another girl.
"He's an Edengrowth, right? What about the library?" suggested one particularly astute girl. She happened to have a bit of a crush on Jon, but that's not important.
Several other girls agreed, and Morgan herself nodded. "Right, I'll look there."
"Tell us how it goes!"
Morgan just rolled her eyes, turning to leave the girls, who'd already started guessing and gossiping.
