As Locke hurried away she sighed seeming to deflate. Giving the pretty lady a smile she started for the couch where that boy Matt sat, but once he exploded at the other boy she stopped. She did not want to deal with such harsh emotions. Lost as to what to do she just stood and stared into the air. Kiri bit her lip then turned to the nice blonde woman.
"Is there anything I can help with , ma'm? Anything I could do?" The young fae didn't just want to sit and wait for Locke to come back. She didn't want to sit aroun doing nothing period. Her body itched to do something. For to sit still would make her think and remember again and she was far too tired to cry again.
"I'm not that bloody either, and with glamour no one will know. So...if there's anything you could have me do...please let me." Kiri tugged at her black dress blue eyes pleading with the woman. Even if it was peeling potatoes Kiri would do it, if it was pulling weeds, dusting, anything to keep her hands and mind busy.

"Cookies," Holly immediately replied. She headed for the kitchen, trusting Kiri to follow closely at her heels. Once there, she immediately pointed toward the refrigerator. "There's some of that store-bought break-away dough in there. I usually let the kids go ahead and cook it. And there's some cookie sheets... down there. You get to work on this, because I'm sure everyone's going to need some comfort food."
Nodding, Holly turned to Kiri, smiling. "Anything else?"

Morgan had, by now, finished her shower. Unlike the rest of the outcasts, she had a change of clothes available, and she quickly changed into the clean clothing. It felt good to be fully scrubbed and in something that she hadn't been wearing for nights.
Wearing a t-shirt and jeans, Morgan headed downstairs, figuring she'd drop in on the other people. Then she planned on heading for "her guest room," after possibly checking to make sure that Fiona hadn't stolen Morgan's CDs... again.

Garion wandered the halls of the house, searching anything that might be food, or more importantly, something to drink. His throat felt like it was caked in sand, his body having lost so much water through sweat and tears. He wandered sluggishly towards a room he registered as a kitchen, and ran for the sink, turning on the tap. He frantically grabbed around for a cup, something, and found only a Tupperware container.
Anything was better than using his hands, so Garion filled and drank out of the awkward cup greedily and noisily, his thirst insatiable. He sloppily put the container in the sink when he had his fill, and swiped the water from his mouth. He turned around to find a young girl and Holly with what seemed to be dough and a cooking sheet. Content to watch, Garion sat on a nearby stool, feet dangling, eyes focused. To his delight, a display of fruit was positioned next to him, and he happily grabbed an apple and started munching.

Star whipped around to see the wolf that he recognized from the torture chamber. To his surprise, it was growling at him, which could alert others to his presence. "Shhh...shhhhhhh..." Star tried to calm down the wold. "C'mon... it's me!" he gave himself the glamor of a wolf. "It's me, remember?"
Star hoped he would not be perceived as a threat, he couldn't possibly go head to head with a wolf, much less a lycan.

He didn't like that the other boy was asking him questions. Even though he was being perfectly civil, it still felt like an interrogation to him. He was tense and afraid, and his next reply was so rough that he startled himself.
"I don't know! I don't know, o-okay?! I don't know anyone here!"
He noticed Kiri walk towards him and then turn away, and he felt his stomach plummet. Was he really so bad that he scared her away? Guilty, his volume dropped slightly, and he found himself staring at his sneakers shamefully.
"The people who took us didn't want to let us go, so, yeah, they fought. There was...well, there was this big, huge guy coming after Kiri..." That was her name, right? He paused, enjoying the sound of her name. Kiri.
"...so some redhead came out of nowhere and...and..." He swallowed. "Not the one who was here, the one who ran off with the creepy redhead girl. A lot of people...they...the guys who came to get us really...you know..." He made a vague motion with his hands that didn't appear to rememble anything at all, but it was pretty obvious what he was trying to say.
"I want to play...Tetris...or something." He remarked mournfully. Video games always seemed to cheer him up, and there wasn't anything more mind-numbing than rearranging a bunch of colored blocks.

His tail rose high as the boy turned around and pleaded for him to stay quiet. Eryk barked loudly again his tail wagging furiously as the boy appeared as a wolf before him. He wasn't sure how the kid was pulling such a fast shift. It was either the kid could shape shift really quickly, or it wasn't a real wolf before him. Certianly didn't smell like a wolf.
Tongue hanging out to show the kid that he meant no harm Eryk strode forward. He nodded to the house and whined wanting the kid to join the others. The grey wolf lowered his head oe amber eyes bright as he gazed at the young boy/wolf. Butt in the air he darted forward a bit jaws snapping playfully. Come on kid just get into the opening. It'll b easier to watch over all you kids if you're in one place.
There was also the fact that he didn't want to leave this kid out in the woods. Yeah, the kidnappers had no idea where they were but there were more bad people in this world than just those scientists. Besides what if the kid actually met up with a real werewolf that wasn't as nice as him? They weren't in Rae's territory anymore and a wolf that has the scent of man on him could easily e confused as an intruding lycan.
Pulling up to full height again he walked up to his side moving his muzzle to nudge him in the direction of the nice house. He was sure that Mrs. Cavan would have no problem with another lost boy.

OOC: I was 125% certain I already posted this....oh well.
IC: Locke stepped into the rather spacious bathroom and took off the dirty and torn clothing, stopping only to examine himself. Bruises, scrapes, cuts were obvious, but Locke's eyes were drawn to a small prick on his arm, one he remembered. He stared at it intently and began to find his head spinning, it made him dizzy.
He shook his head a bit and tried not to think about it, he wasn't going to crash yet. And so he turned the faucet on, to make the water hot enough to burn the images from his perfect mind.
The was not likely to happen. And so Locke stood in the shower, hand on the wall, with the scalding water cascading down his back with his eyes closed, images of it all entering his mind.
Those people...
Those instruments...
This wasn't over, it wasn't going to be over. They were going to meet again, he was sure of it.
At that time, he needed to be more prepared then he was today. He needed to be able to stop them.
These thoughts flew through his mind as he stood under the torrent of water.
Later still, Locke stepped out of the shower to an odd surprise. There was indeed a pile of clothes laid out for him, but from where? Nobody in this house was a boy of his age or shape, wonder where they came from?
He noticed with a mixture of gratitude that Holly had 'altered' them to fit him. And so he slipped on the sweat pants and the long T shirt after drying off, letting his tail pop through the conveniently made hole in the back.
He left the bathroom and made it no further then 10 feet before some heavenly scent assailed his nose from the kitchen, and his feet seemed to move on their own as his stomach growled at him.

Smiling she eagerly went about preparing the cookies. She pulled apart the premade batter and set each cookie out on the baking sheet. Three in one row, two in the next until the sheet was full, then she filled up a second one with the rest. Kiri flicked on the oven and set it to the appropriate temperature then leaned against the counter to wait.
"Is that a good apple?" She asked Garion her blue eyes bright. "One of my favorite fruits personally."
Tapping her foot she waited for the oven to heat up then set the timer and shoved in the cookies. Kiri went to the refridgerator and checked just to make sure they had enough milk. If not she could always drink water. With a nod she shut the door and turned back to the young boy in cartoon pajamas.
"I hope everyone likes chocolate chip cookies." The young fae foled her arms glancing around the kitchen waiting for the timer to ding so that she could put the next batch in.

Rae had been wrapped in her own dark thoughts. Mostly about her "girlfriend," who she couldn't even get naked. She barely noticed the 'yo', but smelt something horrible. Her nose wrinkled, and she looked around, eventually locating Leo.
"Ye smell like..." Rae paused, seeing how badly burnt he was. the burned kid. That one burned kid they were supposed to have healed by now. "F**k, wha' th' hell?"
Rae studied him, wondering how exactly she was going to help him. Her blood would do it... and so would mauling him. For a while, Rae considered the latter option. It would certainly relieve Rae of a good deal of stress.
Instead, she merely sighed, shaking her head. "We need tae heal ye, lad, else ye goin' ta cause problems. Get tae a table or someit; we'll try an' get ye some o' m'blood..."she locked eyes with him, "ye goin' tae turn tae a wolfie though."

"Get to a table?" Leo echoed. "Come on, I frenched a freaking bomb, I don't think I'm even gonna live!" Amazing he still had the strength to talk.
He then looked at her curiously. "Some of yer blood? Look sweetheart I dunno what sort of voodoo witch doctor crap your into, but..." He grimaced as a shooting pain went down his side. "S'a gonna take more 'n a blood doner ta help this. And what'dya mean a wolfie? That some sort of pet name, some kind of a codeword or somethin?"
Ok, so Leo hadn't studied all the species very carefully, so sue him!
"Didn't know there was something super bout Rockstar Blood, does that mean I'll have plenty o' girls in my bed too?"
He laughed, even though it hurt. If he was going to die, he'd die laughing. No better way to die.
Well, he'd prefer laughing AND going fast, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

"Aaaaah, f**k," cursed Rae, rolling her eyes. "I ain't no f**kin' medic. I'm a lycan though, lad, an' a d**m powerful one at tha'. M'blood gives me some healin',an' it should work fir ye, least in th' short run. Goin' tae turn ye into a wolfie though. Howl at tha' moon an' all tha'."
Rae waved a hand as if this shouldn't matter to Leo in the slightest.
"Righ' now, we need tae get some o' it in ye, else ye goin' tae be in trouble, aye?" Rae brushed past Leo as she began looking around for an area that would actually have a table. For that matter, it looked like she'd need some extra help too. Where was her d**m girlfriend when she needed her? Or Kennedy, for that matter.
"Oi! We need a table an' some 'elp 'ere!" yelled Rae, looking around for someone to fulfill her present need.

The smell of cookies detoured Morgan from her search. Grinning, she made a beeline to the kitchen, and was surprised to find Kiri there, of all people.
"Holly point you in the direction of some chocolate chip cookies?" asked Morgan, grinning. she headed toward the cabinet, extracting a few glasses. She then turned, noting Garion... and noting Garion's pajamas.
Covering her smile with one hand, Morgan spoke, "I'm sorry you have to wear that, Garion. You've been traumatized enough, lately. Now Holly's making you wear Yu-Gi-Oh PJs? That's just cruel."
Morgan turned, looking toward the oven. Those cookies sounded really, really good right now. If only because they represented something solid, something normal. Something that didn't want to rip Morgan's face off or stick needles in her.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Holly had been wandering about and nearly bumped into Leo and Rae. she took one look at Leo, then glanced at the rockstar. "He needs help..."
Rae quickly explained that she just needed a table and some stuff for a transfusion. (yesh, I control my chars in my accounts)
Oddly enough, Holly just took all this in stride. Nodding, she waved for Leo and Rae to follow her, then made a beeline for Desmond's workshop. "There's a worktable in the center that should work. I'm sure there's a needle around here somewhere, but I don't know what else you'll need..."

Leo blinked at her explanation. He'd seen the movies, werewolves and crap...but they were real?
"So I'm gonna be some horrible wolf monster, mauling people and such an so forth? Fun." He glanced at Rae.
"Well, can't be so bad if ya can keep a job as a rockstar doin it. And I spose that means I'm gonna be yer bitch eh? Oh well...it's better then checkin out here. But after I can move, I wanna know...about it all."
Leo was never the studious type, but he'd never changed species before. He was a little scared, but he'd rather live a different life then none at all.

Matt seemed decidedly traumatized. Clearly these kids had been through quite a lot. So much so that they were no longer thinking properly, and most likely were going to be scarred for life. Casey didn't like it, and he knew he'd have to at least try and help them. Especially if he could do so without disobeying the orders he already had. Easy, right?
"They've got a Wii upstairs," offered "Michael," jerking a thumb toward the stairs. He'd been subjected to playing it before the others had arrived and had found it relatively fun. Of course, Michael could get away without being too enthused, since he'd been worried about the others coming. "I think I smell some cookies or something though. You wanna check that out?"
Casey honestly did. Cookies sounded good right now, and chances were that everyone was gathered in one spot: around the cookies. More people meant more information, and they would be more willing to talk when relaxed. Plus, Casey needed to get information without the "adults" around, and he'd heard Rae and Holly escorting someone away...

Garion munched down on his apple greedily, food his only concern. Large chunks of fruit squeezed past his throat, threatening to choke him. Garion didn't really care, he was consumed in the pure ecstasy of being fed for God knows how long.
The entire apple was finally consumed, except for the stem which Garion regretfully threw away, and Garion was able to answer the comments thrown at him.
"I have to say that apples have become my favorite fruit as well. That was defiantly the best one I have ever had."
He chuckled at Morgan's comment as well, but it was hollow and devoid of merriment. "I'm past complaining at this point."
He turned to Kiri. "I'm sorry, but what's your name? I don't think I've ever seen you around."
