As Morgan commented on hurrying up on their trek back to school, Elliot's eyes tilted skyward, blue meeting blue in a great silent clash of infinite color as they walked on. It had been a strange day, that much was evident, and not only running into Morgan, but all things having turned out like they did, the gril decided to take it as a mark of karma, and hopefully, as the good kind.
All in all, she figured if nothing else, it was at least a pretty decent way to start things here over.
"Most definitely." Bright eyes fell from their riveted view of the sky and landed on Morgan once more with a lazy, but warm smile. "We'll probably going to have to do the ice cream and talk about boys and the whole ridiculous girly sin sometime." The very mental image of the two girls - Elliot, who had always been far too detached and maybe too mature, and Morgan who had always out her tomboy foot out front first- settled into the classic and estrogen-filled picture was enough to widen the blonde's smile until it threatened to split her in half. As they walked, Elliot pushed her purse further up her shoulder once more, having just always been a soul plagued by restlessness.
"I figure that way we don't have to tell anyone about it, ever." Laughing, the blonde tucked away a loose curl and as the two girls walked beside each other toward the school that loomed just barely in the distance and the sun was making haste to below the horizon, a line from the very movie that had just been discussing came unbidden into Elliot's head and the thought brought something foreign, but ultimately charming, to her smile.
'I think, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.'
