Being a tutor wasn't all fun and games. Well, actually, there was little fun and games involved. You spent a good deal of your time working with the "students" at the Academy, and could easily be jumping from fourth grade history to History 101 in College. Kennedy had the skills to do this, but it didn't make things any easier.
Currently he was "monitoring" the halls. This meant doing a quick sweep to make sure that no one was doing anything they weren't supposed to be doing. Occasionally the students would find some excuse to argue with one another. Or an Academy worker might cop an attitude. Rarely someone's gift went horribly out of control. Those were the most dangerous cases, and Kennedy had no desire to handle that.
Of course, his Gift made him perfect for something like this, though he didn't like it. After all, fighting fire with fire generally just resulted in larger fires. Though some people were cowed by seeing someone do exactly what they were doing. Usually people didn't know what it felt like.
Then again, dealing with the supernatural Academicians generally took more skill. Lycans, dragons, demons, and faeries all had their unique difficulties.
"I really just hope to find someone lost or something easy."

Who could save Kennedy Cavan from boredom more thoroughly than his popular, fun, unfairly attractive girlfriend? It wasn't unusual to see Angela Wingrose cruising through the halls of the school she no longer attended. They all knew why she was here, for a very special someone worked at the Academy. And that very special someone was currently looking very lonely standing in the halls all by himself.
She kept to the ceiling, hoping her dark purple high-neck shirt wasn't bright enough to catch his eyes. She was wearing a dark-wash jean and simple ballet flats that thankfully stayed on her feet and had a clean record when it came to target-practice... sometimes her shoes would fall off mid-flight, and they always had such great aim.
Anyway, Angela held onto one of the ceiling arms and debated how she was going to greet her lover. A slow grin spread over her lips and she cried out.
"Kennedy!!!!"
With that she swept down, her arms looping around his head and her legs wrapping around his waist. The pretty blonde didn't even give Kennedy time to react - she began kissing him in a way that was not going to permit talking for a good minute or two.

Kennedy's first reaction to being attacked from the air would have been to fight back. He'd had one too many incidents in his day to let something like this go unpunished. Fortunately for him and his girlfriend, he resisted the urge to use his borrowed super-strength. Restraint was always a key anyway, what with the students and all.
Having no time to react, Kennedy simply kissed Angela back, thoroughly enjoying the attack. Soon both were levitating a few feet off the ground. After all, love makes you lighter than air.
Eventually Kennedy had to take a breath, because he hadn't yet found a way to live without them. He grinned at Angela, giving her a tight squeeze.
"You're very lucky I didn't hit you," he teased, winking. "That would have been really awkward."
In fact, Kennedy didn't know for certain how that would turn out. Chances are that Angela would realize it was a mistake, but that didn't mean he wouldn't have hit her. Kennedy quickly dismissed this gloomy line of thought, preferring to simply give his girlfriend another squeeze.
"I'm working now though, love," he said. Apparently working didn't prevent him from giving her another few pecks. "So I'm going to have to start walking again. Am I going to have to carry you?"
He tucked his hands around Angela, drifting low to support her. Of course, this also allowed him to squeeze her gently, a great benefit if there ever was one.

"You wouldn't have," Angela replied confidently, returning his small pecks with a little more vigour than he was. It made her smile. But then he was talking about work, and her kisses turned into pouts. They'd both levitated to the top of a window frame now, and Angela rested her elbow on it casually. Throwing back her hair so he gold curls flipped over her shoulder, the beautiful girl sighed.
"Work work work. Look, there's no one around, and if there was you'd be able to tell," she reminded him, flexing an arm playfully to immitate 'super strength', "what happened to my bad boy, hmm?" Angela teased, flicking the tip of his nose before kissing it. "And you know it can't be all bad when the angel wants to play. Ignoring divine interventions is bad for your health, young man."
During her preaching, Angela wriggled a little closer to him, pushing off from the window frame to lean in. Faces half an inch apart, blue eyes staring into green, Angela's purple-painted lids slowly closed as she closed that small distance between them. The kiss wasn't nearly as frantic as the first one had been. It was slow and sweet, and her tongue teased the roof of mouth and slid over his lower lip...
When she finally pulled away from him, her vision was a little blurry and her smile was that of a day-dreaming girl. She was still clinging to his waist, but one of her feet slid down his leg in a very suggestive manner.

Holding and kissing Angela made it hard to think about doing anything else. Especially considering how utterly thrilling the "anything else" happened to be. Floating in the air, kissing Angela, holding Angela, tasting Angela touching Angela. Yes, Kennedy's hands had already begun teasing Angela, as she'd made it perfectly clear that this was acceptable.
"I'd only be able to tell if they were Gifted," Kennedy protested. It was half-hearted, at best. After all, Kennedy still clung to Angela as if she's slip away.
"Since when are angels temptresses?" Kennedy growled. His hands moved up, sliding over Angela to brace against the small of her back. Then Kennedy leaned in, pressing his body against Angela, leaning over her. The size difference became quite apparent in this position, even when flying. Smiling, Kennedy pulled her close, matching their lips for a long, sensual kiss. While pulling away, he pressed a few more kissed, working his way down her jaw. Soon his teeth lightly pulled at her ear.
"I really should go do my job," he whispered, the words husky.

She rolled her eyes. "Well no one will think to look up," the blonde reasoned. Honestly, who stared up at a really high ceiling while they walked? They'd bump into something. Then Kennedy began touching her the way she wanted to be touched, and she pressed into his experienced hands. When he spoke about angels being temptresses, Angela's breathing became ragged. And the timbre of his voice sent a shock down her back and all the way to her toes. But the words contrasted with his tone very much, and she decided to acknowledge them with her own sexy voice.
"You're doing a great job," she assured him, as though his 'job' was to pleasure her, instead of tending to the dusty old halls of the school. Angie shivered again when his teeth nipped at her ear lobe, and the gorgeous blonde pulled her head around in one long, arching motion until her lips were at his ear, nose sliding along his hairline.
"Let's play hookie," she suggested, the plea in her voice nearly masked by the urgency.

As it happened every once in a while, Kennedy's personal consciences appeared. On one hand, he could picture Rae in an altogether too revealing devil's outfit. On the other, he could picture, well, Angela in an outfit that covered more than it probably should. The two almost immediately started arguing their cases.
And Kennedy decided that it probably wasn't a good idea to listen. After all, it was already a little awkward, since the real life representative of the Moral Right currently had her foot hooked in an altogether suggestive place.
"Angela, we are in public, and I really, really, really should be," Kennedy had pause to try and gather his thoughts. After all, it was rather difficult to think when you had an excited blonde wrapped around you.
"Quick round, making sure to stop in at the Cavan dormitories," Kennedy suggested. He started guiding their floating forms down the hallway, slightly untangling Angela from him. Just in case someone actually did bother to look up.

Angela wrinkled her nose. His answer confused her. Was that a yes or a no? Was the 'quick round' going to be with her, or was that some sort of term he used when patrolling the school grounds?
"Huh?"
But he was unlatching himself from her, and she pouted. Nonono, he was doing a bad job now!
"Kennedyyy," she whined, "I'll do... anything," Angela promised, "what's going to happen in ten minutes hmm?" She wiggled her eyebrows comically, as though she could actually accomplish what she was suggesting in just ten minutes. Angela pressed the whole front of her body into Kennedy, squirming a little.
"Do you remember that pillar in front of the Grand Hall...?" She let her voice trail off. It was the pillar which Kennedy took his shirt and pants off behind last year. It was the pillar he followed her out of the graduation to console her beside. It was the pillar she was going to disappear behind with him right now.
She took his hand. Then, considering that noble Kennedy Cavan might need one more push, she added, "I've got to go home soon, and I don't want to leave without..." her words became soft and then inaudible before she kissed him, fingers running down his hands so tips could touch tips, her other hand rising to hold the side of his jaw, influencing him to follow her when she took a step back.

When one's girlfriend promises she'll do anything even the strongest of wills would crumble. Besides, Kennedy reasoned, there really wasn't all that much that could happen in ten minutes. For that matter, there really wasn't all that much that could happen in, say, thirty minutes. Even then, it wouldn't be that hard to find him, the school wasn't that big and there were telepaths wandering around. And then there was Karmine to consider, he could certainly patrol the halls just as well as Kennedy could.
Really, it's amazing how much rationalizing you're willing to do when a blonde is squirming on top of you.
"Well, I'd hate to send you home without giving you something," Kennedy teased. He retangled his hands around Angela, encircling her waist and pulling her close to him. This better enabled him to kiss her again, a slow, teasing kiss that promised more. His tongue flicked against hers, twirling slightly before darting out. Kennedy then smiled at his girlfriend, then began floating their connected bodies down the halls, heading or the antechamber.
"We ought to see if we can stay floating," he suggested. He arched an eyebrow and smirked at Angela. Clearly the badboy had momentarily won out.

Hanging off the chandeliers sex! Literally! Angela beamed.
Kissing him back but not taking control of the kiss, Kennedy's girlfriend giggled into his mouth when she felt their feet leave the floor. Using her own gift to help propel them down the corridor, Angela realized where they were going and she couldn't help it. She broke off the kiss and grinned against his lips, eyes opening to look at his arched eyebrow, and she pecked the smirk on his mouth. She loved how he couldn't say 'no' to her. It made her feel so... special.
"Maybe I can stay longer than ten minutes," she murmured against his cheek.
