If there's problems with this, drop me a line and I'll fix as needed. :)
Kirien was momentarily confused by hearing Karmine without seeing him, and glanced around, searching for their 'leader.' But he was nowhere to be found, and she dismissed the mystery with a carefree little shoulder-shrug. It was probably some kind of weird fae thing, and she had other things on her mind than figuring out his unusual ways of communication.
"Karmine says we're supposed to be really loud and distracting!" Kirien cheerily told Cylo as she was set down. She managed to keep her voice low, not wanting to give their enemies information, but she couldn't hide her enthusiasm. "Oh, and he's worried about some fae girl who got here first." She shrugged again at that revelation, not finding it very significant or important. But apparently Karmine thought it was.
Oh well. She'd leave the fae girl and the captives to Karmine, and have fun trashing everyone else herself! That's why she was there in the first place, right?
"Oh! Thank you." She added as an afterthought, refering to Cylo's parading her around. She gave a quick glance to his arms, just to make sure they were still useable after supporting her weight for so long, and finally noticed his fingers. They looked a little weirder than usual, to say the least. Shorter, or something. The shorter redhead quirked a brow at him, but said nothing, skipping off to complete her task.
She reached the suspicious-looking door, and wasted no time beating on it without mercy. Punching, kicking, smacking, you name it. She didn't even bother with the handle; it could be open already, but if it was, it didn't matter. Their job was to make as much noise and cause as much chaos as possible.
"Trick or treat! Come onnnn!"

Locke dashed for the door as the noise and chaos started, but it slammed shut locking him in.
"No!" He shouted frustrated. "No damnit! Not now!" They could gas him, they could starve him, if he couldn't get past this door, he was really going to lose.
The rescuers were here, that had to be what all the noise was. But he had to get out, he HAD to. They might try to use him as a hostage if he couldn't escape this room. So what to do?
A large metal door blocked his exit out of the room, and there was no chance of him being able to hack into it. Every piece of circuitry in the room was wrecked. It's hinges were on his side, but the bolts were welded in, so that was a lost cause.
Or was it? With all the broken machines in this room, the amount of energy Locke could pull on was pretty high, maybe not enough to cut the bolts but...
"Magnets..." He muttered. He began channeling the electricity from the shattered machines to the ceiling, specifically to one spot on the ceiling. At first small pieces of shrapnel began to gather on the ceiling, then larger chunks, and then whole machines dangled from the invisible magnet.
As this happened, the bolts on the door began to chip and crack. But it wasn't enough. He could weaken it, but he couldn't open it. He needed more force, something to push into it. Maybe he could try to make the door a magnet to pull something from across the hall into it?
Locke started running through ideas in his head.

Okay, now alarms were sounding and there was all kinds of alternate noise. Morgan opened her eyes, looking around the room. Since she didn't immediately see anyone, she figured it was alright to get out of her bonds.
Which would be slightly difficult, if, you know, she hadn't watched magicians on television one day when she got exceptionally bored. Now her body jerked and popped as she squirmed out of the bonds. Her hand eventually worked out, and she quickly worked the rest of her bonds off. Then, Morgan was free to hop out.
"Bet the door's locked," she murmured, looking around. "So, I just need to sneak through a vent or something. I think I've seen that in a movie before..."
Morgan began slowly inspecting the room, keeping alert to make certain that she wasn't surprised. She needed to get out of here, or at least be ready.
No one was using Morgan Cavan as a hostage...

They had to get inside there was no time for this. She leaned into his arms for a bit her entire body trembling, but this didn't last long. Kiri shook her head and fluttered her wings zipping off toward the window she saw him hover by. Once at the height she saw what he had.
"Come on, Star. As much as I'd just like to cry...I can't. Thank you, but let's go." She wiped at her eyes and flew inside the building. A bird or two followed her, and the rats started in as well. This place was a mess. How was she supposed to find anything? There were alarms going off, and it was complete choas.
Kiri glanced behind her to check if Star was there hoping he'd hurry. She flew to the other side of the room and remembering them saying to go down, a basement?
"Star, we need to work our way down." It was so dark where they were she flittered her wings fear gripping her heart. Hovering near the door she waited for him to reach her side to continue on.

Star nodded as Kiri pushed away from his embrace. He regretted nothing, and followed her as fast as he could. He looked down t the scurry of rats and wished that he could call his friends to help them... but the place was bound not to be well lit. Even the windows were tinted! Maybe he should grab someone while they still could. He talked to the most bored particles of light he could find, and got them to follow him in small, pulsing orb. He made sure it was compacted so it would grow as he did.
"This looks like an elevator, Kiri!" Star pointed to a large pair of double siding doors. There were no buttons, only a keyhole. "Trouble is, how can we get in?"

Garion was too busy looking inside tinted windows, trying to get a feel for where Locke. In fact, he was just a couple doors away from him when he rand straight into Niplik. He looked up at the man with nothing but contempt. He hated every inch of this st-stuttering, weedy and probably unclean excuse for an academic.
With all the force of his mind, Garion pushed against the frail man.

Niplik took a step back from Garion and looked as if he was about to say something through his quivering lips when he flew back, as if punched by an invisible fist. His eyes bulged in surprise as he crashed down the hallway, tumbling into a wall, and slumped down there. If he was unconscious or faking it for his own safety was impossible to tell from this range. Matt Ambrose would see Niplik fly past him, and might join him in a pile on the floor if he didn't dodge the body.
Morgan on the other hand, would notice something odd about the door in her room. In had a dial, roughly fist sized, next to the handle. A combination lock? The door had been locked when the commotion had started, and he captor had used it to open the door, though now it was locked again.
-------------------------------------
As Kirien beat on the door, intent on forcing it to open simply by wailing on it, she masks the sounds of heavily armed troops approaching the door. As she wails on the door, it explodes backwards, thanks to an explosive charge placed on the other side. The entire door flies off of it's hinges to a hail of gunfire filling the room.
The battle had begun in earnest.
--------------------------------------
If it was fortunate, or not, the elevator Kiri and Aaron had discovered opened suddenly, and a man came running out. The man named Jefferies looked left and right before running to a side door. Fortunately he did not notice that two tiny Fae, unfortunately that also meant he ran right towards them with his body, that was now roughly a hundred times bigger then theirs. A collision would be something akin to a bug on a windshield. Worse yet they were near the floor, meaning they might wind up underfoot as well.

Kiri's eyes went wide as the man barreled out of the elevator. She reached to grab onto Star's hand to yank him with her as she zipped away from the giant man. Still flying as fast as her small wings would go she rocketed into the elevator. Now there was a new problem.
How does a person about the size of a mouse bush a button? Her eyes narrowing she readied herself then flew at a bottom for a much lower floor. Ramming into the button with her body the elevator let out a bing and the doors closed.
Turning around she sighed her shoulders hurting from ramming the button. She hoped Star was alright through all of this madness. She also hoped that whatever had been happening to Locke had stopped, and that somehow he was safe.

The lock was tempting. If Morgan had seen the combination put in, she might have given it an attempt. However, the lock didn't provide an easy out for her. she hadn't seen a safe-cracker in action. Even if she did, Morgan was pretty sure there was more to it then that.
Morgan started walking around the edge, looking for a grating of some sort. surely they had to ventilate air in here somehow...
"C'mon, where's a handy escape hatch when I want it?" she joked. The sirens were getting to her, making her edgy. she shook her hands and blew out her lips. She'd settle for a roof vent at this rate...

The loud Whoosh of the Elevator door sent Aaron's little Fae heart pumping. Sometimes he forgot he was a tiny little form. He sat there, dazed for a moment, then Kiri got into the elevator and snapped him out of it.
Star rushed to try and reach the elevator, the shoes of death almost trampling him on more than one occasion. He finally reached the elevator and dashed inside, not eager to have another such encounter.

Cylo had indeed not heard the troops coming toward the door, but he had been prepared for just about anything. After all, he was storming into an unfamiliar building that was likely filled to the ceiling with kidnappers and other unsavoury folk, and the door looked high-tech enough that he would never believe they were without a security team.
Still, Cylo may be fast, but bullets and explosions are no slackers either, and as he tackled Kirien away from the doorway, the door hit his shoulder and spun him slightly toward the opening, presenting a perfect target for the first bullet that hit him right above the armpit and the second that grazed his shoulder before his momentum carried the both of them out of harm's way. He didn't stop sprinting until they were hidden behind one of the crates in the room.
"Now would be a good time to lend us a hand!" he yelled at the car's passengers. Or tried to over the sound of gunfire, anyway.
He could fight the guards by himself, sure, and maybe even win, but there was no way he could do it without being pumped full of so many bullets he'd die the moment he finished fighting, and dying didn't exactly appeal to him.
"You alright?" he said to Kirien, even though he was the one with the metal-door-smacked and twice-shot shoulder. Maybe it was just his way of making conversation while he waited for his healing to finish, or maybe he just hadn't noticed. The thrill of the battle can do strange things to a person, demon or not..

Kirien had been wailing on the door for some while with no response, and she was starting to get annoyed. She glared at the Unbreakable Door, and aimed to prepare one last, frustrated kick, when it suddenly burst open.
The smoke from the explosion stung at her eyes, but the rocketing mass that was Cylo managed to tackle her out of harm's way, taking two bullets and a door in the process.
"You're reeeaally fast! I'm okay." She responded, breathy and stunned. "Are you okay?" She touched one hand to his wounded shoulder gently, frowning. "I can get those out faster, if you want..."
She kept one eye on Cylo, and the other on the rest of the chaos unfolding nearby. This was not good...
How did they sneak up on us?! I wasn't that loud!
"Get down and take cover!" She shouted to her comrades, and to Cylo, quieter, "Do you have any projectiles?"
How do you fight a group of ranged combatants? Take cover, and peck them off with your own ranged weapons! Or, shield yourself and take them out that way! They can't hit you, but you can hit theemmm!

OoC: now that everything's sorted out....
Rae hadn't been particularly pleased by Kirien's taking the lead. Her gut told her to outpace the demoness and retake it. Yet she knew that she also had to stay fairly close to Eve and Eryk, because they'd both be lost without her guidance.
So Kirien took the lead, and Rae continued strolling behind, humming a song. The rocker paused as the demoness started beating on a door. They probably need a key or for Scythe to step forward. Whichever was easier to find.
Rae was about to suggest Scythe go do his doorman impression when the door exploded. Cursing, Rae hopped backwards, moving to shield Eve. A few stray shots tore bloody rivets in Rae's body, but they quickly sealed. The lycan snarled, and waved Scythe forward.
"Can ye go all scaley an' stop those thin's?" she yelled, hissing as more bullets tore her flesh. Anything less then a direct hit Rae could shrug off. Even one of those wouldn't be too bad. But the pain sucked, and she'd rather put the big guy in front.
"An' how th' hell do we fight guns...?" Rae wondered aloud.
OoC: dragon fire! says the player ><

Karmine had been doing his part, ducking and weaving through the vents. Wherever the kids were, there had to be a way for air to get there, so as long as he followed the vents he should, in theory, wind up in the right area.
He flew out into a large shaft, and looked around, still tiny. He heard a whirring from above him and looked up, to see an elevator car coming down.
Tiny Fairy versus Big Elevator...not a good match up.
Karmine acted quickly, growing back far enough to grab his sword, and throw it at the elevator car. It stabbed through the bottom, making an opening that he then shrunk down and squeezed through. Changing that quickly, and not changing completely, was exhausting, but it seemed to have worked. He was in the elevator car now, and regrew to his normal size, sheathing his sword.
It was only then he noticed another occupant of the elevator, thankfully away from where he was.
"Kiri!" He exclaimed. "I was hoping I'd find ya!" Good, now that was one less person in danger.

Stephens blinked, watching as the invaders seemed more or less unfazed by bullets. Yes, some of them had dove for cover, but they actually seemed to have a plan to put someone in front to take the bullets. Just what kind of people were they? Clearly they'd need to approach carefully.
"Ready grenades," spoke Stephens, turning to nod at the closest lackey. Said lackey gulped and passed the word along. A handful continued firing while the rest prepared.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A handful of guards had headed toward the elevator, figuring that someone might try to enter through there. Someone foolish. Well, that and they'd heard people yelling over the radio, and something about a firefight. No one actually wants to get in a firefight, unless they're crazy (i.e. Scythe)
It would take them a while to get there, and they'd be under Jeffries' command when they did arrive...
