Hos Moto had someone tailing him again.
It wasn't unusual for him, and he knew it was happening. But he really hadn't wanted to deal with it on a trip to visit his old school; of course, he didn't much care to deal with it anyway. But the guy had to be dealt with...Might as well get him out of the way. Can't have him following me to the school, whoever he is...
So, playing the stupid type (the idiots always seemed to fall for it) he turned into an alleyway, of the kind where muggings probably occurred every once in a while. And sure enough, the stalker turned in after him. He turned the corner and, turning around, met with the guy trailing him.
He's a bit brighter than the others, he observed when the guy didn't even flinch upon meeting him. Switching to casual, he said, "So what brings you to stalk me today?"
No response. "What, the silent type?" No response. And so on. However, upon "Your shoe's untied" the man laughed, and said, "You're not going to get me, especially not with that last one," he stuck himself in Mr. Moto's face, "so you might want to come quietly, eh?"
To which the reply was, "Yeah, not so much," and a firm pinch on the pressure point. The assailant-now-victim dropped like a sack of potatoes, and Moto quickly stuffed him in a dumpster, confiscating his phone to identify him...and who sent him.
He didn't need to even open the phone. He examined the symbol on the back: twin wings twined around each other. "So you finally turned against me, huh?" Moto said quietly, talking to no one in particular. He had a tradition to fulfill, however, and so he found the contact from the list, and texted, 'So zetta slow', like he always did, and, deciding to chuck the phone, broke it and put it back in the now-comatose stalker.
Afterwords, he resumed his trip to the Academy.
