PLOT INFO
Previously, on Mosh...
And now, for something completely different
The Corporation's Hybrid Project has not been going well as they hoped; the fusion of ordinary human DNA with supernatural DNA to create "Hybrid," man-made supernaturals has had more failures than successes. The altering often causes the Hybrids to become mentally unstable, and the combination of non-Gifted and human DNA usually leads to the subject's catastrophic death. But some members have grown impatient, unleashing the imperfect Hybrids upon the world; some have peacefully chosen to enroll in The Academy, where others wreck havoc, causing panic among ordinary and supernatural citizens alike.
Corporation spies have heard rumours that The Artifact - the mysterious object that granted the original Gifted Ones their powers - is hidden somewhere within The Academy. With The Artifact, they could create man-made Gifted Ones with greater ease and success than with genetic engineering. They could mass-produce supernatural soldiers, to aid in the conquest of empires. They could pick and choose those to be "Gifted," acting as Gods. They could better humanity, by healing the sick and making the weak strong. They could make every normal human on the Earth Gifted, achieving equality for all. While The Corporation's members may each have a different outcome in mind, they share the same basic goal: find out where The Artifact is being hidden, and take it for themselves.
Many of The Corporation's members are still grieving the losses of beloved friends and family members suffered during the raid on their St. Louis facility, but The Director is unresponsive to their pleas for revenge. If their leader won't take any action to ensure that "justice is served," they'll have to take matters into their own hands...

THE CAST: NPCS
The Corporation Is a mysterious organization of scientists and researchers who have taken an interest in the supernatural community. They are well-funded, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the most knowledgable employees, a large amount of highly-trained "security guards," and a multitude of labs. After a Gifted One, Kara Belova, mistakenly stumbled into their lab, they used her to learn the hotspot for the rest of her kind: The Academy. Eager to learn more about the supernaturals, they kidnapped a group of young students and "collected data." A band of citizens, some enraged by The Academy's lack of response to such a catastrophic event, some just looking for blood, raided The Corporation. Many Corporation members were slain, and the facility suffered major damage, but The Brute Squad suffered no casualties. The Corporation has since been quiet, no doubt planning their next actions with more caution.
The Members:
- The Director
Rep: Alan Rickman Roleplayer: -
The mysterious head of The Corporation is called a loving, generous family man by some, and a ruthless, manipulative individual by others. He escaped the raid on The Corporation, along with top researcher, Dr. Niplik, and a handful of other lucky souls. Since then, he has been laying low, and despite his employees' cries for revenge against those who murdered their own and destroyed their work, he remains cool and indifferent.
- Dr. Niplik
Rep: Michael Emerson Roleplayer: - The Corporation's leading researcher, Dr. Niplik, is extremely intelligent, but not particularly useful otherwise. He suffers from agoraphobia, or the overwhelming fear of helpless, and is consequentially very nervous and submissive. He escaped the raid on The Corporation and continued researching the supernaturals with his colleagues.
- Dr. Coriander "Corey" Halliwell
Rep: Katherine Heigl Roleplayer: Meg
21-year-old Corey is a Doctor and a certified genius, but her immaturity, selfishness, and impulsiveness prevent her from advancing in The Corporation's ranks. She's the adoptive daughter of a high-ranking Corporation member, and she hates feeling overlooked.
The Academy Consists of The Academy and Penumbra University, and all their employees and students. They've been regarded as "shady" ever since they refused to help rescue a handful of supernatural youngsters who were kidnapped by The Corporation...and since their former Head Agent, Nia, accidentally nuked a large portion of the student body. Since then, Nia has been replaced, and The Academy appears to have reformed...or has it?
The Members:
- Julia Coolidge
Rep: Lisa Edelstein Roleplayer: Meg
Julia Coolidge became an Agent shortly after graduating from The Academy, and she has been one ever since. She is now a Senior Agent, responsible for training Junior Agents and completing high-risk missions. She is known for her no-nonsense attitude, and is often called "The Ice Queen" behind her back. Her husband, Derek Coolidge, is the only one who sees her more "human" side.
- Derek Coolidge
Roleplayer: -
Derek was a doctor at The Academy, who always seems to be tied up in something, despite that he is now retired. Behind his serious demeanor, he's a dedicated and loving husband. He's very protective of his wife, Julia Coolidge, and serves as the voice of reason in their relationship.
- Hope Antoinette
Rep: Alyssa Milano Roleplayer: Meg
This young woman became an Agent to protect her loved ones, but she's having trouble adjusting to her new lifestyle; she's always been a non-violent person. She has little field experience and easily cracks under pressure, and her superiors grow weary of babysitting her.
The Hybrids Man-made supernaturals, created by The Corporation by combining the DNA of normal humans with that of supernatuals. While many of them volunteered for The Hybrid Project, some subjects were altered against their will. Nearly all of the Hybrids are unstable, mentally or otherwise, and the Hybrids containing Faerie, Lycan, and Dragon DNA seem to deteriorate the fastest.
The Members:
- Brendan (with pre-chosen Gift)
Rep: Skandar Keynes Roleplayer: Adder
Eighteen year old Brendan idolized Stephens, the man who had rescued him from a life on the streets, and always felt that the experiments done on him were fair payment for what The Corporation had done for him. His cooperation and usefulness outside of experiments led to him becoming more a member of The Corporation than a test subject, and he was treated very well.
When Stephens was killed, Brendan snapped, demanding to be a test subject for the Hybrid Project, even though he already had a Gift, so that he could more easily get his revenge.
- Ildri Chambers
Rep: A model Roleplayer: Nicki
Twenty-one year old Ildri Chambers grew up in a pampered environment. She started getting heavy into drugs, and got mixed up in the wrong peoples' businesses. She began draining her trust fund to pay off her debts, but her parents noticed and put a stop to it. When Ildri could no longer afford her habit, she left home to become a full-time junkie. At the age of 16 she was one messed up kid, but she had a raw animal rage that impressed someone at The Corporation. She was adopted into their family, put through a seriously stressful withdrawl treatment, and managed to kick the habit. Once her head was cleared, she was enrolled in many physical sports and combat courses to release her anger. By the age of 19 she was a hardened, though still hard-headed, soldier. She has difficulty communicating with people, but the Corporation has become a family she can't live without. She volunteered her body for their scientific purposes, eager to empower herself. But when the attack on the Corporation (this is what she was told) stole away the lives of significant members she had grown to love, she set out in a fit of rage for revenge. Thankfully someone stopped her, and told her that the only way to make things right again was to come up with a plan, and not run in head-first. Able to see reason, Ildri agreed, and for the past two years she's been training in a new art: espionage.

Told ya. People are more inclined to volunteer when they know what they are getting into. Or because I made a new thread instead of Necroing an old one that was associated with a plot that flopped. ;P

I'd like to sign up for an NPC, but I'm afraid to snag a head honcho because what if I become busy again?
Specific character NPC, or storms of generic NPCs?: Specific Character NPC Premade?: Yes - Brendan.
Please tell me when you have more information on his Gift. Unless "premade" implies that I think of one, which I assumed wasn't the case. Please tell me if I was incorrect in my assumption.
Like I said, I'd be more tempted to play a larger role NPC if I wasn't so afraid of my own inactivity. Also, I'm willing to offer up an original NPC "hybrid" character if those posistions need to be filled.
