Yes. =l
Because Ithica would thoroughly enjoy stalking leprechauns and chatting up unicorns.

I voted Yes.
Why?
Well aside from being something I kind of glossed over in Locke's backstory (When he came from WoM, it was no problem, but here it was a little hazy.) I also feel that it would add a bit more depth and believability to the world. What are the odds that the only bestial supernatural creature is a dragon, which can transform into a human anyway?
Yeah, I am all for them.

Would they all have a human form like dragons? How would they fit in politically (think fae queendom)? What sort of relationship would each new species have with the community? We could introduce a bunch of new creatures with plots, I'm sure. But how will we determine what should be part of MOSh? Someone could open up Magical Beasts And Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander and bring a whole bunch of Harry Potter animals in. Would they be NPC characters or an entirely new sentient species with its own group colour? Would they be 'pets' or 'game' or 'threats' etc, etc? Just some thoughts before I say a definite 'yes' or 'no'.

When I think Mythical Creatures, I wasn't thinking PC races. My view on them has always been the creatures and critters of the magical worlds. Examples might be:
Unicorns Phoenix Carbuncles Griffins or some other type of beastly monster.
Basically, it will just open up the door to some more variety if players desire it. It doesn't seem like it would cause any problems.

I said yes. If there were mythical creatures, it would give us opportunities to be able to "adapt" a few legends to suit out own needs for fun. Aside for mythical creatures, I was thinking we could do something regarding the Behemut, Leviathan (which I have an Idea for), Hydra and the like. But that's just me - I think other things would be awesome. My view is the same as Rob's. They'd just be like pets and monsters. Squirrel Foxs would be awesome, (think Nausicaa) and so would... COULD WE HAVE TOTOROS?

I voted 'no', because mythical creatures are so far away from what I envisioned MOSh to be. Strays too far into fantasy from sci-fi. But then again faeries and dragons are already pretty out there.
It looks like there are going to be mythical creatures though, but I probably won't utilize them as much as other members for rp purposes. Chase will obviously study them... I'm just thinking out loud now. Shall shut up.

I can't say why I'm saying yes because something sarcastic will come out.

Haha, even though I voted 'no', I'm kind of pumped to see what everyone's going to do with this.
