All right. I've compiled a list of random questions that have floated through my mind at one point or another. These don't need to be answered...just sort of idle curiosities. 1. Since ultraviolet rays from the sun don't really pass through windows, could a vampire stand next to a window without bursting into flames? 2. Demons have Legion instead of blood.. so does a female demon get her period? 3. What would happen if a werewolf were an astronaut? 4. Are djinn like Genie from Aladdin, and if so, can they spontaneously burst out into song? 5. Why did you have to use the Pale Man to represent demons? That's just mean. Isn't it weird that the Pale Man ate faeries? Hehehe. 6. Why do vampires catch on fire from the sunlight? 7. Do vampires have a favorite blood type? 8. If a B+ vampire drinks blood from a human with A- blood, will they get sick? 9. I was going to ask if vampires got STDs, but then I realised that the viruses need LIVING hosts. So nevermind. 10. Since faeries can turn into vampires, would faevamps in their small form be essentially mosquitoes? 11. If someone is turned into a vampire as a baby, are they forever a baby? 12. In some species aging is very slow. Does that mean that some could be toddlers for twenty years? 13. You know how a dog's year is seven times that of a human's? Is it like that for some species on here? 14. If faeries are weak, why are they immune to diseases? (Except mental ones.) 15. How does a dragon and a faerie reproduce? 16. Can we have a pronunciation guide on everybody's name? Some of the names are kind of... 'unique.' It may just be me and the fact I can never seem to pronounce things right. Speech impediment yay? 17. His last name is pronounced PUH TEN EE OH. Not like you'd ever actually say it, but I don't want you mentally mispronouncing his name. Kay? <-- see, I fit in a question there. That's pretty much all the questions I have...at the moment. o-o;

1. Any rays from the sun will do it, so no standing next to windows. 2. Uhhhh...o_0 3. That could end badly. 4. Sort of. Djinn have "lamps" and are made of cosmic energy, but lamps aren't always lamps, and they don't live in them. They have insane tendencies, so I wouldn't be surprised if they spontaneously burst out into song. 5. I believe our original admin guy picked that picture. Not sure why. 6. Depends on what you're reading. On this site, nothing has been selected as the reason as of yet. 7. Depends on the vampire. 8. Vampires don't get sick. 9. Okay then. 10. Haha. No one's ever done that, but yes. There's no reason that faepires shouldn't be able to shift forms. 11. In theory. Babies might be too fragile to turn without accidentally killing them. 12. Which species are you looking at? 13. Haven't thought of that, but I'd assume not. Will check on this. 14. Faeries are physically frail. They can't really take a hit without suffering, but their unusual genetic stuff makes them immune to most illnesses. 15. Both need to be in human form. 16. We used to have one of these, but I think it was on another site. Are you puzzled by any names in particular? 17. Kay.

1) if you sit in front of a non tinted window for too long you'll get a slight burn. i know i've done it! lol. so if the window is darkly tinted then a vampire could stand infornt of it for hours i think. if it's just a regular window then i think it might take a few minutes but yes they would still start to catch on fire. >.<
12) essentially the longer living races will grow at a normal rate until they have past puberty. After that the aging slows conciderablely and seem to look the same age for an insane amount of years. ^_^
*shrug* i know you said they don't have to be answered but i like answering strange questions lol

"They have insane tendencies, so I wouldn't be surprised if they spontaneously burst out into song."
That would be amazing. Imagine it.. MoSh: The Musical. :D

I've done that too! But I have xeroderma pigmentosum, so sunlight is generally a huge nono. -gasps- Kind of like vampires! If vampires are like me, then I can explain why they can't be out in sunlight. :D Their DNA doesn't have the repair skill to fix damage caused by UV light. I don't know if that would cause them to go up in flames, and I realllllyy don't want to try it just in case I do. XD
"Demons can be toddlers for 20 years, for example. "
...-looks at Ithica- hehe. :D
"16. We used to have one of these, but I think it was on another site. Are you puzzled by any names in particular?"
There were some Eastern names on here that confused me. But I don't know how active they are, so I guess I shouldn't worry about them. xD
"2. Uhhhh...o_0"
D'aw. Although I guess looking back, they would HAVE to if they were to produce babies.. unless demon vs. human anatomy & physiology is terribly different.

LOL MOSh the musical. Who would you be gay with in that then, hrmm Seiji-Kun?
2. Aponi can controll hers. I dunno if other demons work like her though.
If vampire's skin can't repair damage by UV, maybe it decays into something with a low ignition temperature :L This is just me trying to apply science to everything like a damned Polypontan.

It's not UV, it's just sunlight.

Listen people, I'm seeing a trend here. Not to come of as abrasive and accusatory (As I usually do) but I know from past experiences there are some very specific reason when people ask for rule clarifications to this level.
People want all the rules written down, letter of the law over spirit of the law. I understand you may want to not over power yourself, or do something you might not be allowed to do, and that is fine. But instead of clarifying every little thing, a little conservative judgment goes a long way. If you feel you cannot make an accurate judgment call with the information already provided to you, then by all means ask. But I've seen it before where people ask questions like this, and if they find a hole, they exploit it. Accept the fact that some things are 'It's this way' (Like Vampires and Windows) and that some things happen off stage and don't need to be dealt with. (Demon Sexual Functions, you know they can reproduce with anything, that should be enough for a PG Roleplay.)
So the point I was trying to make with this long winded and (To spite my best efforts) condescending post is that don't ask for the rules to be written in stone, there is a very good reason we leave many things open to the players.

Nice job not coming off as abrasive. xD
I hope you don't think I'm being pedantic when I ask my next, and final, question:
Is it possible for you to get a sense of humor? :] And I mean in that in the least accusatory way I can. But I think you could take the happy out of a happy meal, dude. There was one serious question in that whole thing, the rest were just "idle curiosities" that didn't have to be answered, as I stated before.
And I love how you used the vampire/window as an example, because that was the serious question. I thought it was UV rays that did the vamp in, not the light from the sun itself. I guess I learn by asking meticulous and 'exploiting' questions. Hooray.

That came off rather rude, Sage.
Are we all going to settle down and get along now? -scary admin face-
EDIT: As for demon periods, their anatomy is vastly different from that of humans. They're made of magical swirly stuff called Legion. I haven't the slightest idea how they reproduce. Ask Chrissy...he might know, since he redid the demons.
Then again, I'm pretty sure he asked our last admin this, and the answer was something like "Grrrr."
