• Hair Colour? Style? Type? Tess' hair isn't one to really change styles. It's thick, dark brown, and straight. Normall she can't be bothered with it and will wake up, run a brush through it and pull it up into a pony-tail - and that's on a good day. Any other day she'll just wake up and pull it up, it never really gets snarled or tangled anyways.

Tessa has a lean nice body from growing up in a working family as well as years of activity such as martial arts, gymnastics and she has strong arms because of playing the fiddle for her whole life. She has curves but she doesn't really show them off, usually wearing clothes that conceal her body and fit more comfortably rather than attractively. She's a very active girl, and she's going to stay that way and keep her physique - after all if she's going to be alive for a very long time she might as well do it looking good.
  
  
• Skin Tone? Tessa has average skin though can easily go from looking fair to being more 'sun kissed' in a matter of days. Her Irish blood gives her that good fair look but for all the time that she's lived and played in the sun her skin can get a little more color to it. Usually, it just has a nice peachy color to it.
  
  
• Scars/Freckles/Birthmarks? She has some freckles though they are very hard to see, no scars, and no birthmarks.

• Intelligent? Physically, she's a genius. Mentally, she's average. One might say that Tessa is wise, but when it comes to academics she's basically your average high school senior.
  
  
• Pessimistic/Optimistic? Optimism is key, but some pessimism may help along the way. Tessa is normally optimistic to the best of her ability, but there comes a time now and again when one just needs to say 'Fuck it, we're all gonna die.'
  
  
• Outgoing/Shy? Very outgoing. Tessie barely even knows the meaning of shy. She'll talk to strangers, introduce herself openly, and she will make a fool of herself to make a friend laugh. Tessie may be over one-hundred years old, but at heart she's still about as giddy as a ten-year-old.
  
  
• Kind/Cruel? Sadly, she's almost too kind for her own good. She's forgiving to an extent where it's almost sad, and has been stabbed in the back several times but for the hope that her good nature will change them she has forgiven the ones who wronged her. Tessie has been told many a times that she needs to stop letting people walk all over her, and time and time again she's promised herself that she would and always ends up going back on her own word. It's okay though, she forgives herself.
  
  
• Trusting/Suspicious of Others? Too trusting for her own good. Someone merely has to say that they promise they will do something and she trusts them. Of course this has cost her in her past and still she's pretending that it didn't hurt her and carrying on with a smile. Acting ignorant to the cruel world around her is one of her specialtys.

Tessa loves sports, probably because she participates in a lot of them, though soccer has to be her favorite (though only when it's not in America, in which case it would probably be football). She also is interested in anatomy, and would love to study the human body. However, if you want to talk carrer wise then she's got her heart set on one thing - firefighter.

HISTORY

• Hometown? Born in Glasgow, Scotland, raised in Dublin, Ireland
  
  Tessa's life as a child was fairly simple. Her parents met in Scotland, where they lived for roughly two years of their life despite both being Irish before they married and had Tess. Shanon died giving birth to Tessa, before James could reveal to her what he was. He loved Shanon dearly, more than he had loved in a long while, but never told Tess how much it hurt his heart to have to see his wife slip away. Despite loosing the love of his life, seeing his baby girl and holding her in his arms for the first time seemed to make everything okay again. Because of what he as James moved about every decade or so as to not gain suspicion about his unwavering age. Luckily Tess wouldn't be introduced to this until a while later in her life, allowing her a steady place to grow and live as a child.
  
  Of course there was always the fear that his daughter would be born normal, and he feared that he would have to watch her grow up, grow old, and die alone. Worry pulled at James everyday as he watched his little girl grow up, afraid that she would keep growing and he would have to attend yet another funeral of a loved one. He had outlived all of his family and if he had to live to watch his little girl die he might as well take his own life. Tessa never much knew of her father's distress, though she did tend to notice that whenever she left for places like school or sleep overs he would look at her as if it might be the last time that he saw her. Only later when she was about fifteen years old would everything become clear.
  
  Tessa would often baby sit for a couple down the street. They both were very hard working people and Tess was more than happy to watch after their little girl when they couldn't. Her name was Lisa, and despite Tess being roughly seven years older they got along very well. Most of the time she would rather go play with Lisa than hang out with any school friends, though when she wasn't hanging out with anybody she was usually out on a field practicing sports by herself. She was always a very athletic girl, anyways - and a bit of a risk taker at that.
  One day when Tessa returned home after a rather long match of rugby with a few boys from her school she saw that Lisa's house was on fire, she could see her parents but not Lisa. The horrible feeling that the little girl she loved so dearly was trapped inside the fire overtook any feeling of fear in her as the young woman ran inside the burning building to find her friend.
  
  Tessa discovered Lisa was trapped in her room, the door closed and blocked off by a large collapsed pillar. In an amazing feat of strength Tessa lifted the burning pillar with her bare hands and picked up an unconscious Lisa in her arms. Flame engulfed the house and in a desperate attempt to escape she leaped from the second story window with Lisa in her arms, protecting her with her body as she landed and rolled on the ground getting knocked unconscious. Tessa awoke the next day in the local doctor's house to find that Lisa was alive with only a few scrapes from the fall, but there was the question of Tessa's own miraculous recovery. There wasn't a scrape, burn or mark on her, even though her hands had been scorched, her arms and legs sliced from the broken window, and her leg broken from the fall. Some claimed miracle, others claimed witch craft.
  
  To protect his daughter James took Tessa away that night and they fled their home in Dublin. She took the explanation of what they were rather well, though she was rather heart broken that she would never get to see Lisa again and that the little girl would probably be lied to about her survival. After that she took up her father's life style, moving when they needed to avoid suspicion about their age (as Tessa stopped aging at about seventeen) and taking up aliases just to get work and survive. When Tessa was about twenty-eight she discovered she developed a new ability. She could watch tasks performed by other people and them do them just as easily, despite never learning them before. This excited both James and Tessa because not only could she learn to play all different types of instruments, as she loved music, but she could also not go to a single training class and still learn to defend herself. So when she wasn't working she was learning to play music and when she wasn't learning to play music she was learning to fight.
  
  In 1980 they finally made their way across the pond to America, first living in Maine though they had to move after some witnessed Tessa walk away from a car accident completely unharmed. They jumped around the Eastern US before finally settling down in Boston in 2002. There they bought an empty lot and opened up their own pub which her father affectionately named Loch Tessie. It's small but in the few short years it was open it became a friendly family place. A bar for the boys to sit, drink and laugh, and sitting areas where Tessie would take orders and make food for the customers. It wasn't long after Loch Tessie opened before James remarried, much to Tessa's approval. Myla was a frequent customer of their family pub, and Tessa liked her and got along splendidly with her daughter, Addy. Tessa really felt the need to protect Addy because her biological father was abusive, and once she even had to grab the shotgun and force him to leave the pub after he came in in a drunken stupor while her father was out buying plumbing supplies. When Myla and James were married there was quite the block party, as Tessa and James were very well loved in their area of Boston. Plus, the family got a bit bigger and it would help to have some extra hands around the pub.
  
  All in all Tessa loves her family, all the pets get to hang around at the pub with her, Addy helps her make food sometimes and Myla and James manage the bar. Murphy makes a pretty good guard dog, the children love Sasha, Billy's basically a stubborn little cat and Jessica has learned to name dozens of different brews. Probably Tessa's influence, but they all find it amusing anyways. However she fears that she and her father will have to leave Myla and Addy behind, but more than that she's afraid they'll discover what they are and fear them just like they did back in Ireland after the fire.
