• Claude has long, wavy brown hair that is so dark that it appears to be black. Her eyes are a striking steel blue, which she turns white when using her Trait. She is 5'6" and weighs 120 lbs. Her skin tone is fair, but she has several scars on her hands from when her mother swung a mirror at her, and a bull's eye-shaped scar on her wrist from being burned by a car cigarette lighter.
  
  Many consider Claude's style of dress odd, describing it as a cross between grunge and "rocker chick." She wears many necklaces and earrings and comfortable shoes, in case she needs to run.

• Intelligent? Very. She's analytical to the letter, sometimes too smart for her own good. She's been brilliant since she was a child.
  
  
• Pessimistic/Optimistic? Pessimistic. She believes looking to the worse side of things will keep one more alert and prepared.
  
  
• Outgoing/Shy? Well she's not a social person, but she's not exactly timid. She just doesn't like talking to others and keeps to herself, but if you cross her she will do something about it. So, for this, probably shy.
  
  
• Kind/Cruel? Claude definitely isn't a smiley, happy-go-lucky person, in fact she's quite gloomy and a bit of a buzz-kill. She isn't one to just offer up help, but if someone really needed it she might help them out - though she usually only does this for her benefit.
  
  
• Trusting/Suspicious of Others? Suspicious, always suspicious. Never trust anyone, it only makes you suffer more when they decide to back-stab you. Everyone has alternative motives, even her, and anything organic will do anything to survive - they don't care how.
  
  
• Interests? Music, tech, prison life, blue prints, dog breeds, other Halfers, how ordinary people live, ignorance. Lots of odd things can interest her, she studies almost anything that she wants to find out about. Claude possesses vast knowledge of a wide array of subjects, from art to anatomy, history to philosophy, and several other things. Ask her a question, she's likely to have a good, if not correct, answer.
  
  
• Strengths? She's very independent and resourceful, can easily take care of herself with out the help of others. She's gone this long keeping herself out of trouble (mostly) and taking care of Kavik as well. She is a good people reader and can usually tell the motives of someone by talking with them. Stormy is an excellent liar and actress, most of the time using these skills to get herself out of trouble. She doesn't exactly live a legal life, after all.
  
  
• Weaknesses? She is untrusting, and probably not the most trustworthy person either. Claude would never deliberately turn her back on someone, but she isn't one to really swear loyalty either. She won't help you if you're in a pinch or getting beat on by bullies unless she has a good reason to. Her sense of justice is small unless it pertains to herself or her friends (that she doesn't have) and shows little to no interest in the well being of others.
  
  
• Eccentricities? Claudine often talks to Kavik, just because he's the only family she has. She always sits with one or both legs crossed, never drinks anything without a straw, and upon entering any building will automatically look for the nearest, easiest exits, count the security personnel, and come up with dozens of bad scenarios and how to escape them in her head.

• Childhood? Claudine grew up in the dark for the first few years of her life. As a child, her father was jumpy and secretive, but she was too young to understand why. Her mother was a Gifted One who had visions, though she thought she was simply hallucinating; her grip on reality lessened each day. Sometimes, Claude's mother became violent and struck out at anything that came near her, and Claude's father was the only thing protecting her from being abused by her mother.
  
  Claude's powers began to emerge when she was five years old. Every time she cried, it would rain, and when she was angry, a sudden storm would gather or the wind would start to blow violently. She had a brilliant mind despite her young age, and it didn't take her long to find out her moods affected the weather, though she didn't know she could literally control it yet. As time went on, she discovered her Gifts of Bio-Crystallization and Cellular Acceleration, as well.
  
  When Claude was ten years old, her father was taken to prison for trying to hack into a federal database, and she finally realized the purpose of his secretive nature. But he was the only real parental figure that Claude had, and she missed him terribly. Claude was scared and lonely with her father gone; she worried that she wouldn't even be able to visit him when he was in prison.
  
  Claude was on her own, and her mother's condition was getting worse. For her own safety, she would often retreat to her room, libraries, computer labs, and music stores. To keep herself from dwelling on her situation, Claude would assign herself projects to distract her mind; it was during this time that she taught herself how to play the guitar, the piano, the violin and the drums. She visited a local music store called Sweet Jam frequently, where she befriended the store owners and secured a job.
  
  Claudine developed a strong friendship with Vince Blackwell, the son of the owners of Sweet Jam. After Vince discovered Claude's impressive musical talent, they became inseparable; he acted as the older brother she never had, defending her from bullies at school. They began recording music together after they both saved money to buy a small but good-quality recording system.
  
  When Vince was seventeen and Claude was fourteen, Vince joined the armed forces, and before Claude knew it, he was deployed. Claude spent months hacking into computers to email and talk to Vince through video, but after a week with no reply from Vince, she began to fear for his safety. Claude's fears were confirmed when Vince's father informed her that Vince's base was ambushed, and he was listed as Missing in Action. That night, Detroit was flooded with a massive rain storm as Claude cried until she could cry no longer.
  
  After she lost Vince, she shut herself out from humanity. Claude's mother finally lost control of herself and swung a mirror at her one day, cutting Claude's hands with broken glass. When Claude's neighbors witnessed her mother burn her wrist with a car cigarette lighter from her car, they called the police; Claude's mother was admitted to a mental asylum. Soon after, Claude was found approached by The Academy. Every night, she falls asleep listening to the happiest song in the world, a song she wrote with Vince, and then the saddest song, the song that mourns his loss.
  
  Claude, still devastated by the loss of her best friend, feared for her sanity as Vince's ghost seemed to stalk her. Everywhere she went, she seemed to see signs of Vince, and after visiting Sweet Jam one last time, she learned something impossible: Vince was alive. He was a Gifted One who developed the Chameleon Gift just as his base was ambushed. He left her little clues to his survival as he readied himself for his journey to The University, where he hoped to reunite with her.
  
  But Claude was furious and hurt that Vince and his family would keep his survival secret from her, while she suffered each day, believing that she was alone. She stormed out of Sweet Jam and hasn't seen Vince since.
  
  
• Discovering Abilities? Discovered them on her own during her abusive childhood.
  
  
• Where Is He/She Now? After the fall-out with Vince and the other Blackwells she has become rather withdrawn, though still ever tempted to go and visit them. Some part of her still human emotion is wracked with guilt and love that makes her want to go see them, but she keeps herself from doing so, telling herself the emotions are a weakness. Aside from emotional weakness, she has discovered that she has begun to develop a more physical weakness. For whatever legion there comes a period of time every now and again, seemingly at random, when she is rather human. Her weather trait is fully functional, but her Legion seem more and more like human flesh. They repair slower, sometimes taking a full day or two before the wound is gone. Other times it seems like a paper cut could be the death of her, merely because she will start to experience extreme pain. Even her brilliant mind is having trouble making sense of the whole ordeal, but she plans to find it out, and she's pretty sure she knows someone who can help.
  
  Stormy is putting together an elaborate, dangerous and rather suicidal mission to bust her father out of prison. He never really did anything wrong her her book, the government is full of liars and hypocrites anyways, for all they know he was just trying to get to the truth. The truth is all anyone can ever have, even if it's ugly. She wants to get him out and then they can vanish, live however they want, but mostly she wants to get to the bottom of her sudden illness and why her legion is starting to reject her. Lately she has become prone to headaches, nosebleeds, feeling lightheaded, faint or fatigued, fever, and sometimes vomiting. Claude first assumed maybe it was the epidemic spreading among the Gifted, and was tested even as it passed, but her results were negative. Besides, she never came in much contact with anybody to contract it anyways.

• How You Found Us? I was a RPer here a while ago, but I vanished. For that I am really sorry, and so much has happened both a while ago and recently that I honestly can't tell you the reason for my abandonment. But, I am back now *cheesey smile*
  But yeah, Stormy was my favorite character (aside Jasper, anyways), so I re-created her, mainly snagging all the info that I had from the Wiki page - hope you don't mind!
  
  The site doesn't look as active as it used to be, and if I joined at an all-time-low period for the site then I'm an idiot. I just missed MoSh so I decided to come back now that things with me have settled down, at least for now. Any-who, I really hope that the site gets back to being nice and active again, 'cause you're all awesome and I love you tons and tons and tons!
