He leaned against the wall staring in the direction of the massive front door to the school. Earlier that week he'd gotten in contact with the odd man he'd met on the streets that night he'd gotten lost. They had agreed to meet at the front door of the academy so that they could hang out together. The fact that the random stranger still wanted anything to do with Jadyn surprised the young dragon immensely. He had no clue what they would go do together probably leave the school and explore in the large city. Jay would've met the odd man somewhere outside of these walls but the last time he left the school alone had turned out very badly. So to keep things safe and less chaotic he'd asked Ithica to meet him here.
Yawning he flicked through the songs on his ipod blocking out the rest of the world until his supposed friend showed up. It was so weird standing there waiting to hang out with someone, though lately he had started to feel more like a normal teenager. He even had a girl friend now. Though he still got harassed nearly every day by bullies which he did his best to keep from Aponi. Finally picking a song which suited him and his mood perfectly. Sometimes he even felt like it was his theme song.
Motion from the direction of the front door caught his attention and he straightened pushing himself off of the wall. The person who walked through was not who he'd expected or waited for. Sighing he pulled his hood down low and leaned back against the wall. Hopefully his favorite bully wouldn't see him. Wishing was really bad for him it seemed because two familiar boots appeared in his line of vision. He lifted his head to glare at the taller, older boy who was grinning at him wickedly.
"Why if it isn't my favorite little buddie. Hey, why aren't you wearing your patch today? Now that I think about it you haven't been wearing it a lot lately. What you think we wanna see that gross eye of yours?" The boy pushed at Jay's shoulder knocking the smaller boy into the wall. At least his music was up loud enough that he didn't have to listen to the neanderthal speak. But being half blind he'd honed his skill of reading lips and his glare intensified while his hand itched to cover his eye. His reason for not hiding it anymore lay in a beautiful ash demon. He didn't want to hide anymore.
"Bugger off, sh*t for brains. If you don't like looking at me then don't. I'm not here for your pleasure anyway." Cranking up the music even more he bowed his head choosing to ignore the muscle brained twit. A hand came toward his face and he dropped to a squat barely missing getting hit in the nose. Looks like I'll have to wait for Ithi elsewhere. Not at all looking to have a fight Jay sprinted toward the door just in time to slam into the next person coming through it.

Ithica was late. They hadn't really settled on a set time, but he was pretty sure twenty minutes after the 'general' time frame, one was considered late. It hadn't been his fault. Definitely not. He had just decided to purge his dorm of demonic bacteria and unholy vermin. It prompted Rosie to go behind him and mess things up. That doll could be very irritating. Like a mean cat.
And then he had looked at the time and nearly had an aneurysm. He had jumped out from under his bed, which made the frame collapse on him, and after he had weaseled out of that he had tried to take a shower. 'Tried' being the operative word. He had turned on his water when the scalding water had hit him. It wasn't such a nice experience. ("Well neither is staring at your naked bum!" the shower head had retorted bitterly.)
But Ithi's life was a comedy of errors, and simply running down the hallway with his shirt unbuttoned, shoes untied, and a towel-turban on his head wasn't enough. He then had to trip down the stairs and land in a rather painful position. He stood up, removing the towel from his hair and shaking it out. He buttoned his shirt, muttering about how he was almost certain those stairs hadn't been there. His shoelaces got tied just as bitterly, with conspiring whispers about how the university had borrowed their stairways from Hogwarts.
He chewed on his fingernails during the brief walk to the academy - because he was stubbornly refusing to claw his hands. Actually he was kind of scared the dragon would barbecue him because Jadyn had specifically told Ithi not to claw his hands. That being said, his hands looked decidedly better as he opened the door to the academy (he wasn't sure why he noticed things like that, but he did). A fingernail almost broke in half in his mouth when Jay was pushed.
Sometimes Ithica thought he should try to make himself be able to appear intimidating. He was a demonic pushover. And although he did like being nice, he had the muscle mass of a newborn worm. He had a strong theory that where his muscles would be there were just fields of cotton candy. The only things he fought for were food and his mother. Imagining Jadyn as food was not only creepy, but he was sure that it was illegal in quite a few countries. He almost giggled as he imagined Cotton Candy Jadyn rushing towards, before he realized that Jadyn wasn't actually cotton candy, and it was going to hurt. Ithi's legs were the only part of his body that was lagging to understand this completely.
He let out a rather unmanly squeal as the dragon ran into him. He held onto the door to ensure that he wasn't going to fall, deciding that maybe if they just ignored the bully that he'd go away. He didn't have much experience with the breed (well, all right, but he tried to weed those memories out. Gym had been a nightmare on dodge ball days). Maybe he could animate something big and scary. Or they could run! Running was fun. Definitely fun.
"Hello," he chirped blithely, giving Jadyn two thumbs up.
[ooc; >.> sorry for the lack of quality.]

Stumbling backwards after running into someone he shook his head before finding out that the person he'd run into was Ithica. Why did he look so perky? Wait, no he wasn't being chased by a bully he was just here to see a, what were they? Acquaintances? Friends? That was something to figure out later, right now he had to deal with the fact that Mr. Cave Man was almost to them. He glanced over his shoulder then back at Ithica. The guy just did not peg him as a fighter. Even if he was older than him and the bully he didn't feel safe, and a part of him felt as though he needed to protect the overly nice guy.
A hand clapped on his shoulder spinning him around to face the creep and he did the first thing that came to mind. Which he usually didn't do, and it also wasn't usually the first thing that came to mind. He swung at the guy. Fist tight he swung as hard and as fast as he could right at the jerk's face. Caveman was not expecting that reaction and therefore did not duck. Stupid, stupid caveman. Jay actually landed a hit on the side of the guy's face when he remembered, though he was extremely weak compared to most dragons he wasn't pathetic according to humans. The guy went down holding the side of his face staring in shock at Jadyn.
He pulled the ear buds out of his ears finally and glowered at the guy who did his best to make his life hell. "You can pick on me all you want. Say whatever you want, do whatever with your idiot friends. But I know you." Jay glanced at Ithica then back to glaring at the bully. "You would've tried hurting or insulting my friend, and that-That I will not allow."
Eyes burning with hate he turned away from the guy his dragon rage singing with joy that he actually lashed out at someone. "Come on, Ithi. This place reeks I guess they forgot to take the trash out this morning."

Ithica bit his lip when the Big Mean Guy grabbed Jadyn. He was going to do something. He wasn't sure what, but he'd slap the guy with his noodley arms if he had to. He reached into his pocket to... well, he wasn't sure what he'd do with floss. But then Jadyn punched the guy and Ithi rubbed his jaw uselessly. "Yeah." He mumbled meekly for backup, once again reminded that it was in his best interest to stay on Jadyn's good side. Not that he was planning to do anything to get on his bad side, but Ithi often crossed the border without intending to for most people. It was a habit.
He beamed when Jadyn explained the reason for the punch. Not only because Jadyn was defending him - well, predefending him - but also because in the process of doing that, Jadyn had said that they were friends. Friends. "Yeah!" He interjected again, deciding that perhaps back up wasn't totally useless and he could at least say things. He backed away before his sympathetic instincts kicked in and he offered the bully a bandaid.
Reeks? He sniffed the air, not really smelling trash. Although he did smell some delicious food. He shook his head lightly, trying not to get distracted. "I don't smell any trash." He rubbed his neck awkwardly, hopping outside of the academy. "Anyway! Speaking of trash, I cleaned my room today! I found a pair of socks that had squirrels on them." He hopped on one foot, taking off his shoes to reveal his squirrel sock.
Ithi wasn't all to sure about it - well, not sure enough to question the dragon - but Jadyn seemed different. Hard to put his finger on it. It could be that they were meeting willingly and Ithi wasn't dragging the unconscious boy inside of his home. That tends to make a person more withdrawn. "You called me your friend."
And then it dawned on the slow unobservant little Ithica what was different about Jadyn. "Your eyepatch!" He pointed at the finger with glee. "It's no longer there! Gone! With the wind! Finito!" Ithi's grin faltered. "But now you can't be a pirate or drug overlord..." He sighed heavily. "Oh well. I like your eye better than pirates anyway."
