Descriptive Personality;Mimi appears to be a stereo-typical little girl. However, she is much more. She is a very intelligent individual, as she does not forget things easily, and is good at applying information in a situation. She is also very witty and sardonic, and won't pass up a chance to annoy people with her dry, sarcastic comments.

Character's History; The first thing about Mimi that one must understand, is that she's an orphan through and through. Her parents both died in a fire when she was small. She doesn't know much about it, but she has her theories. She was raised in an orphanage in the middle of New York. This changed the very core of her being. She had to be strong, or else she wouldn't survive. The other children around her were often quite harsh and stand offish. She learned to stand up for herself, while keeping herself out of trouble.
She also learned to read from a young age, and loved reading story-books. She doesn't remember much of when she was younger, and no-one really cared enough to document it. No-one wanted to take her and love her.
And she cried often.
Because no-one had ever told her they loved her. And it wore down at her, and she decided to leave one day. There were happy memories in that place, her first friends. Days of playing. Of yummy food, and Christmas presents.
But she wanted to find someone to love her, and even if it meant going to New York and being somewhere dangerous. So, equipped with a backpack of crayons and drawings, and old photographs, and her father's beloved journal, wearing her favourite amethyst necklace, and armed with a teddy-bear named Robert, and a small blanket, she snuck away one golden summer afternoon.
This simplicity, and idiocy, coming from a usually sensible and responsible girl wasn't good, however, it was possible that it was these traits were what attracted the attention of the next person she met.
The man was tall. But most people were tall to the tiny Mimi. He had bright red hair, even brighter than her own fiery locks. He had a slightly bemused expression on his face. With him was a man with black-blue hair and he looked more miserable as opposed to his companion.
What drew her attention to them, was the fact that the red-haired one was carrying an armful of sweets and he was holding a teddy by the arm. She squealed a squeal of delight, and ran towards him, as he seemed nice enough.
He had been offering his sweets to passers by, who were giving him strange looks. His black haired friend looked away in shame.
"Excuse me mister?" He said, tugging at his sleeve. The man swirled round several times, before finally spotting her.
"What can I do for you, Almond?" He had asked her. She had never heard the name before, but she liked it, and it was oddly fitting.
"Can I have some sweets?" She asked him, and he generously gave her several candybars, and a large rock-candy lollypop. Her eyes lit up with glee.
"Where are you headed to, missy?" He asked her.
"Me?" She asked. "I'm running away." She declared proudly. "No-one wanted to adopt me, so I'm finding someone myself." She stated, rather firmly. Azazel laughed a merry laugh, his face alight with glee.
"Whyever not!?" He asked, shocked.
"I don't know." She said.
"I don't see why not,, because you're such a lovely little almond. If you want, you can live with us!" he said, beckoning to Rhoderick, who looked surprised.
"What?" he said.
"She won't be a problem, right Almond?" He asked her.
"Nope, not at all, mister!" The desire to belong to a family, even if it was two strange men, overtook her common sense, and in-built stranger-danger alarms. There was something so innocent about these two men. They wouldn't harm her, in any way. The black haired one sighed and nodded. Both Azazel and Mimi exclaimed happily, and she dropped the candy to give him a big hug, and he lifted her from the ground, smiling.
That was how it had all began. It must have been fate that brought them together. She went to live with Azazel and Rhoderick in their spacious dorm at the academy. She was given her own room, and Azazel doted over her outrageously. She followed them to their lectures, and she ate with them.
When she entered the academy, she was actually taken aside, and told that there had been agents looking for her, to bring her there anyway, as she had a rather peculiar gift.
Almond, who had adopted the new name and loved it very much, was the girl who coincidences seemed to follow.
