Billy walked around the grounds with his 1st copy of Alice in Wonderland in one hand while in the other he had a small little bag going down to the floor. It contained nothing much just a few papers that students had actually handed in they were about the mystery of the artifact and a piece of opinion about it and if it was good for humanity. There were two in out of a class of twenty but still that was good progress since he first arrived. Later on, Bill would remember he had a class at the extact point when he started the stroll the grounds. He noticed in the bag it had Mr. Cuddles in it he was a lot more tattered noweredays after all he was around 293 years old. Now he merely strolled with the Alice in Wonderland in his hand. He felt upset that he never could meet Alice, in many ways his fixation with her could be described like a man loving someone. He moved about and simply looking around to see if he'd bump into anyone not that he did care.

Jessamyn loved the peachy summer light. He walked the grounds of the Academy lazily, greeting students he'd taught while subbing at the building. Some of the girls in the classes walked with him chatting about anything and nothing, but they soon parted to join their friends and boyfriends, all one cloud of laughter and joy.
Jess envied them, though content with his own ways, he wished sometimes he'd been more like them when he was younger. He sighed, it wasn't worth pondering what could have been, because it never was - he strolled on, still quietly happy.
Jessamyn enjoyed working in the Academy, even if it was only for days, weeks at a time. He found a tattered wooden bench to sit on, and was taken aback when he put his head up to face the beautiful view of the trees.
He pulled his moleskin sketchbook out and started scribbling the shapes he saw before him - the trees, flowers, girls in their summer clothes and the boys bashfully making them giggle, and - hello - who was this? A man walked past him - Jess vaguely recognised him from the Academy, perhaps an old student? He was holding a copy of Alice in Wonderland, Jess remembered reading that when he was a child, and the scruffiest bear Jess had ever seen was grasped in the man's second hand...

Seeing another teacher was rather nice for Billy even when he didn't recognise him. Thinking about it Billy never did meet any of the teachers just the occasional student if he was lucky enough. Shears noticed Mr Cuddles getting eyed but the supposed teacher. He knew it because he was a faerie and this wasn't the first one he's ever met. "Hello!" He bellowed in the faerie's face. He was never fantastic with personal space that was because of the cramped corridors in Henry's the eighth's castle.
"I'm Mr. Billy Shears and I'm thinking you're a teacher? Would I be correct?" He left out his hand out so the faerie could shake it. Meeting people was very fun in his life.

The man approached Jess, spoke, then put his hand before him. This all happened quickly, but Jess caught his name - Billy Shears. Huh, it was vaguely familiar... He was a teacher, so no wonder. "Oh, hi, yes, I do a lot of subbing here... I'm Jessamyn, Jess Augustine." Jess weakly grasped the hand in return - he was charming, but handshakes were not his strong point, especially when the other man is invading his personal space so very much."I sub mostly for art - the other teacher being absent so often, you know, whith his... dealings."
Jess shifted along the bench, half getting to open space away from the man, half making space for him to sit. "Are you teaching English Literature?" Jess enquired, "It's just that I noticed the book in your hand - it is a children's book, isn't it? Or is it for, err... general reading?"

He suddenly started to hear the nortious voice of Arthur, the ghost had been following him around since his encounter with Miss Sophie. Billy rolled his eyes listening to the cries about how he felt horrible and how things weren't good at all before he died. The story changed so much Billy wasn't sure what to believe anymore so instead he just hit him away waving his hand. "Go away!" He hissed but Arthur would have none of it. As Billy was sitting down he hit Arthur with the book. "Stupid ghost..."
Finally he aknowledged Jess's question about Alice in Wonderland and looked at him. "Gosh, no I teach history. This book was a present off Mister Charles Lutwidge Dodgson back in 1865 long time ago now." He laughed like some old man reminising about some war. He was like that his war was his life the enemy was time. Something now he wished he hadn't relearned.

Jess looked at the copy of Alice in Wonderland, then up to Billy's face. "History? I hear the numbers are dwindling in the subject?" Jess was trying to make some conversation with the man, but he seemed very interested in talking to himself, or whoever was with him that Jess couldn't see. He hoped Billy would sit down, Jess was hoping for some company, and a guy like this seemed as if he'd be interesting company, too.
Jess sat, soaking in the summer warmth, the sun tingling his skin. Some faint freckles had appeared on his hands - he stretched the slender fingers. "How old are you - 1865? That is a long time... "
