Tanatos walked into the coffee/bar/musical place with a look of smugness on his face. And with blood soaking his once-white suit. In a couple of days, maybe even a couple of hours, they'd find the body - what used to be the body, of a particular senetor that he had a certain dislike for.
His jacket wouldn't stop complaining about it though.
"Why the hell would you do that kind of thing!? I mean, not only did you quarter him, but you put that horrible smelly stuff and make his blood all blue!" it jabbered onwards, untill he tore the sleeve off. Then it shut the hell up.
His pupils dilated as the flashing lights of the place shone on his eyes. He quickly stopped time, and dragged the body of the lights guy out, and threw him off the top of the 5 story building.
He had little tolerance for figmentations that annoyed him.
He sat down at the table and started having the most animated coversation with it. Of course, no-one else could see that the table could talk, so they all shuffled away. He didn't particularly care what they thought - they didn't actually think anything. They were just images, placed there to amuse himself.
His arm spasmed out, and punched a hole in the nearest wall, and he peered precariously through it, seeing nothing but pipes and the alley beyond. The woman behind the bar was looking at him worriedly. Why the hell should he care that he'd broken a wall in a cafe that he was never going in again, if it had even been there inthe first place!?
This was like a nightmare - a thought, an idea, something that didn't work properly.
And Malfunctioned thoughts had to be eliminated, to keep his mind in tip-top shape. So he quickly withdrew his modified shot gun, ignoring the screaming of those around him (it was there for dramatic effect) and shot the woman quite neatly in the head, before she dropped down, "dead".

So there Jessamyn was, sitting in the corner of some coffee bar, and a complete nut head walks in, talks to the table, draws a gun, and shoots some woman in the head.
Jess liked his style... being an art lecturer, and formost an artist, he'd come across a few nutters in his time, and grown to like them. He sat calmly as the women were screaming and holding their heads around him, and continued to sip his lukewarm skinny latte.
"What's up with you?" Jessamyn enquired, softly, "You look... dishevelled, sit down... I like your style." The bloody suited man walked slowly towards Jessamyn's two seat table. Jess looked around at the normal people, their poor, frightened faces pale with dread. "Tell them they'll be shot if anyone attempts to call the police. I don't have a cellphone, so no fear of me calling anyone." Jessamyn smiled.

Tana turned around at the stranger, and gave him a wild eyed look. Part of himw anted to go and give him a hug, and shake his hand. He was very friendly and welcoming. But hell was he patronizing and arrogant. It was really qute funny - this bastard was obviously a thought that he invented for his own amusement. he was definantly not someone that would be eliminated. But he didn't need to know that.
The hilarity actually got to him, and he started crying laughing. He was clutching his stomach, tears streaming from his eyes. The whole cafe let out a silent sigh of relief. However, it was too short lived.
"That's rich, punk." he said, flicking his custom shotgun into position and aiming it straight between the guy's eyes. "But you tell me what to do, and you'll have a lot less face to go around looking smug with. hear me?" He laughed and shot a couple more people.
"And I don't fear the police. The police are just something I made up to make my world a little interesting." He laughed again, pointing his shotgun at the man. "What's your name, fool!?" he said, in all seriousness, dropping the gun on the table, and knocking over the coffee.

essamyn stared at the spilt coffee, then moved his sight up at the figure before him. He took a deep sniff - a great metallic smell of blood filled the air about the man... no wonder, he thought, look at the state of his suit. Jess wondered whether the blood was the man's own or some other poor creature's.
Looking everywhere but the man's eyes, Jessamyn said, in his smooth, charm filled voice, "My name is Jess... Jessamyn Augustine. I'm a part time art lecturer." Some of the ordinary people were scuttling about them, gathering any items and removing themselves from the situation as fast as possible while the gun was out of the man's hand.
Jess looked about at the floor, and then to the dripping blood coming from what must have been a white suit, but was now mostly stained in reds and stale yellows. He played with the brown slur of coffee shot left on the table, most of the rest was mixing on the floor with the blood.
"You know who I am, who are you? And... what exactly is your business?" asked Jess, looking up to the man's face, but never his eyes. He knew he was acting calmly, but in all honesty, Jess was in as much relief that the gun had been dropped as the other people scuttling out, though his curiosity overtook him.

Tanatos grinned. Yes. That was right. Such a thought had been thought up, because he thought that such a thought could entertain him! He ran his hands through his hair, and flicked his eyes over to the door. Everyone had managed to scramble out, and there were already sirens approaching. Damn it. Oh well - this is what exitement was.
He ran to the door, hith his shotgun pointed out into the street and yelled; "I HAVE A HOSTAGE. I'LL BLOW HIS FACE OFF IF ANYONE TRIES TO ENTER THE BUILDING." He cackled wickedly. Turning back to what must have been a "dishevelled" Jesse, he laughed again, before listening to the spork on the table call to him.
"Shoot it's brains out. No-one will suffer the consequences. None of this is real, anyway." But it's arguement was countered by the nearby salt shaker.
"No! Leave the man alone!" It called. He gazed goggle eyed at the both of them, before shooting two rounds, narrowly missing Jesse. All this police malarky was just to build up an atmosphere. he always had liked theatrics.
"Not that you can process this thought, because you don't exist, but I'm Tanatos, or, Blue Blood. All for the sake of conversation, of course." He winked.

Ooh, this was just too great. Fabulous. Jess's curiosity had landed him in some unfortunate (and fortunate) situations before, but never a hostage situation. This guy was a screwball - a nut-case. Jessamyn had heard of Solipsism, but this took the biscuit. He may not have thought any of this was real, but the blood on the floor was, and Jess certainly thought he himself was real.
Then the bullets, they, of course, were deathly real.
Jess put his head in his hands, despaired he'd gotten himself in such a stupid situation - if he had any sense, he'd have gotten out with the rest of the people. Now, it didn't look as if he was going anywhere...
The police were here. If there is a God, Jess wished he'd forgive his sins and save him here and now...
He pulled his head up, took view of his bearings, and looked for the nearest plausible exit. Well, assesment made, and it was either the front door, or sneaking through the window. Sense determined the latter would be saftest...
Jess stood up, careful not to make a noise... and moved to a seat closer to an open window, well, a smashed window at least. He was scared now, this man was going to kill him - he was sure of it.

Tanatos sighed. Why the hell did something like this consider itself able to escape. Then again,, if everyone sat down like living ducks, then there'd be no fun. But once in a while, finding someone he could relate to, even if they weren just a figment of his imagination would be nice.
He teleported in front of the man, and sharply thrust his hand out to strike his face. He then teleported back to his original space and grabbed his gun, pointing it at Jesse.
"Nuh-uh. Sit the hell down." He said, with a slight smirk on his face. He'd told it to. it had to. Eeverything in the world had to do exactly as he said. Otherwise, they just... dissapeared. They had to. Otherwise, his world didn't work. So he continued cackling, despite the slight insecurity, to cover up his own irrational fears.

Jess was confused by this man... and slightly bewildered at the fact he wasn't suprised when the man teleported before his eyes...
Any attempts at escaping would prove to be futile, reasoned Jess, so he took his seat, a little shaken and humiliated by the strike across his face, and buried his head in his crossed arms.
He looked up, saw the gun pointed at him, and soon put his head back down.
"I'm Jessamyn, Tanatos." His small scottish voice mumbled from the pile of leather, arms and red hair that lay on the table. He hoped at least that if escape wasn't an option at the time, he might as well be as polite to the man who had his life hanging by a thread.
Fear had passed, and now Jess felt calmer, even with the possibility of a bullet through the brain, Well, what happens now? he thought, taking off the leather overcoat and relaxing his silver wings (Tanatos was able to teleport, a faerie would be old news to him) Jess daren't stand after the order his captor gave him, but looked straight in his eyes. "What's going to happen now? There's nothing here to steal, you're wasting your time..."
