Ryan was sitting on a fence, in a meadow. He wasn't quite sure exactly where the meadow was, only that it was a couple hundred feet away from the Academy, the school where he had just recently enrolled into. Classes were beginning to take their toll on him, so he decided to skip for the day.
After walking for about an hour, he had found the place where he could collect his thoughts, this meadow.
"This is such a beautiful place...never have I seen anything like it, in real life" he thought to himself, as a smile slowly spread across his face.
It was true, that he had never seen anything like it. There were thousands of different kind of flowers; all different colors, their fragrances blended together filling the air with the smell of honey and lavender. It was the beginning of summer, and Ryan was happy that it wasn't getting too warm outside; in fact there was a pleasant breeze.
Looking off into the distance, he was carefully thinking of his new life.
"My mom would never have went for this; me being out and free. She wanted to keep me hidden, like some sort of tragic secret.."
He knew he was finally free from his mother. He knew that he had a whole new life to look forward to, and Ryan was glad that he was finally able to experience such happy emotions that he was once denied.
