One thing she absolutely loved about New York was that fact that no matter where you went you could most likely find a bar. That morning she had woken up to Rae's cell phone ringing. The rock star was in the shower at the time so Eve had answered it being Rae's secretary was just part of being the rocker's girl friend. After telling the woman on the other end that she had the wrong number she flipped it shut and glared at the bathroom door. Another woman calling in a sultry voice for the sexy Raelena St. John. As soon as Rae had exited the bathroom Eve threw the phone at her without a word storming out of the room in her pajamas. Rae of course followed so did a huge fight.
Long story short? Eve was sitting at a bar at 11:20 in the morning nursing a tall glass of dark amber liquid. She'd somehow found an "authentic Irish pub" with some of the best brew she'd had in a long time. Plus a large plate of hot wings half finished sat in front of her some of the best and spiciest. A breakfast of champions one might say. By now the steam had worn off quite a bit, but now she sat staring at the mahogany bar counter wanting to cry. It had been a long time since she'd let herself cry but it didn't stop her from wanting to.
"'ey, lass? Ye be dooin' alrigh'?" Brownish green eyes lift to find the bar tender (who actually ended up being Irish) giving her a concerned look. She smiled and lifted the pint to him before downing half of it. Yep, she was doing just fine. A large part of her knew Rae would never do anything with any of these women. They were just fans wanting to get with the famous woman. But it didn't hurt any less to see Rae flirting. Didn't make it any less bearable to drag her drunken girl friend away from some bar or club to keep her from pawing every reasonably attractive female in it. Yes, the life of dating a celebrity was just great.
Sighing she picked up a hot wing drummet and stared at it in dismay. She knew she’d have to go back to their place eventually, but for now she’d stuff her face and hopefully get drunk. It took a lot for the dragon to get drunk so she’d most likely be there for a while, and all the while buying her drinks with Rae’s credit card. Smiling evilly she bought a round for the six patrons in the pub and one for the bar tender. With a happy cheer they all drank to love. Love, heh, funny thing that. She downed the rest of her glass and raised it to the bar keep.
“Another! And keep ‘em coming.”

A'marie loved this bar for a couple reasons, one the bartender hooked her up with a place where she could get weapons and such two, she could get drunk quickly. It took A'marie a lot to get drunk but something here did it faster. Her bow was slung over her shoulder when she entered and her quiver around her waist full of different types of arrows. She set them down on the floor she couldn't get Makayla to love her this made her angry and sad at the same time.
She kept her manners though and sat down next to a woman as she sat down her bow and quiver. She looked at the woman Damn she's hot. She thought to herself "Whisky please." She said She couldn't help but look at the woman in the corner of her eye.

Booze was one of man's greatest inventions that was to be sure. Another glass was in the works of disappearing when a girl sat next to her. For one it was 11 something am and she was ordering a whiskey. Secondly the girl was carrying a bow and arrows. Quirking an eyebrow she set the glass down heavily staring at the girl for a moment trying to see if she was already that drunk to be hallucinating. After doing some slow blinks she found that she was sober enough to not be hallucinating, and that the girl was most likely watching her.
"Are you coming from an archery class or something?" It was beyond not normal to see a girl carrying around such weaponry in New York city. Let alone see a girl like that walk into a bar and order a whiskey at whatever it was in the morning. Was she even old enough to drink? Eve narrowed her gaze at the girl trying to figure her out going on two words. Not working too well.
Picking up the drummet again she turned from the girl for a moment to take a rather large bite. The sauce tingled her tongue mixing nicely with the dark brew. No bleu cheese, or ranch dressing to dull the heat because frankly she didn't need it. Heat was her middle name, actually she didn't have a middle name, but if she did that would totally be it.
"I love hot sauce...and booze...and chicken." Her dark green eyes stared at the items in question with a near teary gaze. "Stupid freakin' floozy." Yes, she just called Rae St. John a floozy. Over the deep end much?

A'marie got her whisky after showing her (fake) ID. She turned to the woman and brushed her hair back. "No I always carry my bow with me, well that and my knife." A'marie pointed to the knife on her waist. "You know how it is in New York." A'marie said one thing she was bad at was lying after all her Red Rose Symbol was going all the way down her arm. It was a rose wrapped in silver thorn vines she didn't show it off but she forgot to wear her jacket. "Is something wrong miss, maybe I can help?" A'marie asked patting the woman on the back gently "My name is A'marie." She said doing a curtsy (even though she wasn't wearing a skit) "May I ask yours."

She quirked an eyebrow at the response she took another long pull from the glass emptying it easily. Lifting her glass the bar tender returned leaving a large jug of the deep amber liquid before he left. She grinned happily pouring herself another glass before answering the girl. "Normally I see people packing guns, some knives, but I have never seen Robin Hood's gear before." Eve waved a hand at the get up with a wary eye.
The liquid flowed over her tongue and down her throat in a cool relief, and seconds later she could swear she felt it in her veins. Nothing like the brew that her family made with a recipe of old tradition. That stuff would take the paint off of a car. Grinning she bit into another wing wondering how early was too early for lunch. Though like she really cared about time seeing as she was drinking and eat wings.
"Wrong?" She perked up at the question turning her gaze to the odd girl beside her. "Just relationship problems." The words were grumbled out in a highly unpleasant tone her eyes boring into her glass. Her eyes rolled back to the girl when she introduced herself then back to the booze.
"Eve. Not as fancy as yours but it's my name." She'd noticed the fancy arm thing but she didn't see the point in mentioning it. People wore all sorts of things why should she ask about every interesting piece of jewelry she saw? It would be boring most likely and if it wasn't then it probably wasn't any of her business anyhow.

"It's a very nice name." A'marie said with a smile. She hadn't heard of Robin Hood before, maybe she could find this guy and learn a few things but that would wait, A'marie got up and walked behind Eve and massaged her shoulders. A'maire was an expert when it came to this.
"Other then drinking you need a way to relax hope you don't mind." A'marie skillfully moved her hands down Eve's back making sure to give each muscle a good rub. Once she got to around six inches above Eve's waist she focused on the area around the spine as she slowly massaged that area.
"I know this is odd just randomly happening but I want to help you for now this is the best I can do...well this and the drinks are on me all right? Same with the food." Once she was finished she took two steps back.
"I'm sorry for touching you like that, where I live people constantly ask for it I just thought you'd like one I should have asked I hope you do not hate me for this." She said her head hung down. She waited for Eve's reaction.

She almost jumped off the stool when hands were suddenly touching her. Another reaction was to snarl, or growl in defense and basically to tell the girl no touchy. But with the help of the booze her reaction time was slowed a bit to at least let the girl work her magic on her tight muscles. Normally she would protest because in her mind no one should touch her except Rae. Normally she hated people invading her bubble, but at the moment she thought what the heck.
"The drinks and food are on the b*tch who put me in this mood in the first place." Lucky for her she could use the derogatory term legitimately seeing as Rae was a werewolf. "And just to let you know I don't like my personal space invaded either."
When the hands had stopped she turned to face the girl seeing that she truly was sorry she sighed. Innocent people confused her. "Yeah, yeah, stop being all formal." She waved at the girl twisting on the stool back to her booze to down the rest of the glass.
"How old are you anyhow? And don't lie the bartender is in the back not like he'll hear you." Eve spoke into the glass glancing over at the girl from the corner of her eye. "And another thing I don't hate people that easily so breathe." Man she sounded more and more like gruff old dragon every day.

A'marie smiled "Won't happen again I swear." She went back to the stool. "I'm only seventeen and hated by many not because I've touched them but because of who I am." She drank some more of the whisky feeling the taste go down her throat. She made that ahhhhhhhhhh sound not loudly but felt the whisky take a little effect. A'marie was really bad at making conversation. but she tried. "So your just here to get drunk eh?" She asked in a polite tone as she brushed her hair back.

"You're hated?" That was a random thing to announce to a stranger. She blinked curious as to why a person would be hated 'by many' as the young girl stated so bluntly. "How could a sweet looking and acting girl like you be hated?"
Watching her down the whiskey she had to say she was pretty impressed. Not many seventeen year olds could done hard liqueur like that. She loved the burn of whiskey the way it left your tongue tingling and the back of your throat kicking you for drinking it. Today though she wanted a milder poison to ease into the drunken state that she was heading toward.
At her question she nodded taking another long pull from the mug in her hand. "It helps make me numb. If I'm numb it won't hurt to see her flirt with other girls, or pick up the phone when yet another chick comes calling." Her fist tightened on the handle a line shooting along the glass warning her that she was holding it too tight. Sighing she stared at the cracked glass ashamed that she let go of her strength like that.
"What about you? Awful young to be washing your sorrows down a bottle." Like she was one to talk. There were plenty of rowdy teens who did just that, but she was just trying to return the ball in the conversation.

"Because no one loves me, not even my parents. They tried to kill me so I live at the Red Rose Orphanage. I try to make people happy I really do, with you I just wanted to cheer you up but I understand your reaction I mean total stranger touching you and all." A'marie sighed.
"I'm bi but I prefer girls, so I'm looking for other girls but finding another girl...well you know." She shrugged drinking some more whisky. A few tears went down her eyes as she drank even more whisky. At least Eve wasn't judging her. Although she did consider Eve a friend so far she wasn't out to make enemies and she didn't mean to make Eve mad.
"Thanks for not hating me your one of the few."

Boy was this girl open with her personal life, but some people were. Such pure souls were few and far between, though Eve didn't know for sure if the girl was as innocent as she acted. She wasn't exactly an expert in reading people.
"Maybe not as many people hate you as you think. And don't worry about touching me. I'm just in a wretched mood." She gave what she hoped was a reassuring smile but she wasn't the best at that. Having a deeper rougher sounding voice and a somewhat rough looking exterior she tended to just intimidate people.
"Yeah, I never really looked for anyone. My girl was just sorta dropped in my lap. Very odd relationship we have." With a shrug she downed yet another glass of amber liquid. "But before her I actually preferred boys funny enough."
Glancing over at the girl she nearly jumped from her bar stool in panic. "W-Why are you crying? Please don't cry." She stood tentatively putting a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"And of course I don't hate you. You haven't done anything to seriously piss me off yet. Just please don't cry."Girls crying were just well it was cheating! It made whoever they were with feel horrible. Besides crying always made your eyes feel extra tired later. Crying equaled evil.

"Sorry."
A'marie wiped her tears away and tried to smile. Her throat tightened due to stress. She took Eve's hand, and trying to hide her sadness (but failing.) She said, "No fair you've got soft skin."She said still trying to put that false smile on her face her blue eyes meeting Eve's.
"You've got that...gentleness yet, a blue flame of anger. Sorry I'll hold back my emotions anything to keep you from not liking me, As a friend I mean." A'marie had a desprate look in her eyes. A'marie felt a warmth from Eve but sometimes that warmth turned to hate.
Ever since Katana did what he did hatred had become so heavy to her it hurt.
((Sorry this took so long had loads of homework))

"It's okay. Just no more crying okay? You're not gonna find a girl weeping away like that." Eve returned to her bar stool just when the girl grabbed her hand. This girl really likes physical contact didn't she. "Soft skin? Not hardly. I mean...not possible."
Retrieving her hands she looked at them knowing they were callused from training so much and no where near as soft as other girl's hands. She also hated the idea that any part of her was soft. War dragons were not supposed to be soft they were supposed to be muscle and claws. Besides she didn't want to get soft if she got soft then Rae might not want her anymore.
"Gentleness? I'm not gentle..I." This girl was throwing her off something fierce. "Gah, I'm not telling you not to feel or nuttin. It's just no need to cry. But if you really need to I guess...I guess it's okay. I just hate to see people cry." Picking up her mug she found it empty so she reached for the pitcher to refill it.
"It's alright okay? Just breathe. I'm not gonna bite you or nuttin." Uptight people who cried made her nervous, so down goes the booze.

"Compared to the people I live with you are. As for soft must be me imangineing things. All I feel is the texture of metal armor chainmail, when he slaps me my fathers leather gloves." She sighed, "I didn't mean to offend you, I don't get to leave home much and all I see is violence so that's why I said you were gentle since you haven't tried to kill me yet." Then she added, "Most people do."
A'marie smiled the urge to cry was still there but not very strong. "Sorry for being so annoying I just don't get to talk to others much so thanks for putting up with me. A'marie just hoped she had actually found a friend.

She wasn't exactly sure what the girl was trying to say about chain mail and leather gloves but it didn't sound too good. From the sounds of it this girl has had one hell of a life, and turned out to be rather fragile because of it. "I see violence all the time too, but I chose that life." Eve turned to the girl mug in hand.
"You didn't offend me, A'marie was it? I just don't want to be thought of as soft. I'm supposed to fierce and strong. Not soft." She smiled spotting the watery eyes and glad that the fountain hadn't started yet again. "It's okay, really. How bout you take another drink it might help you calm down."
"Now lets move away from all this negative talk shall we? You are now with someone who doesn't hate you. Doesn't want to hurt you or kill you. So let's drink, be merry, and eat great food until we feel better." She lifted a hand to touch the girl's long hair. "Okay? Come on now give me a smile."
(oh and no big on the homework thing school always comes first ^_^ forgot to mention it last time)
