[ooc; This is a product of what happens when I'm sleepy, sick, and frustrated. A lethargic Ithica. Tsk..]
Ithica had not had an exceptionally hard day. That being said, the half-demon wasn’t sure why he couldn’t find the energy to move out of bed. His body was aching, his brain was fuzzy, and a lot of other symptoms to some unknown disease. He gazed in the general direction of the shower, trying to will his sore frame to walk over there to take care of basic hygiene issues.
After convincing himself that a shower was the only way he would feel better, he rolled out of bed and landed with a thud on the floor. He wobbled up, Animating Rosie out of habit. The doll clambered on his bed, watching with amusement as the exhausted demon staggered into his bathroom just to return murmuring something under his breath about misplaced floss.
Once in the shower, Ithica slid down against the wall, letting the water take away dirt from his body. Normally he hated the feeling of water on his skin so his showers were quick, but today he merely let it wash over him. Many religions had water as a central belief. It cleansed away impurities, and it was the building block of life.
The Christians had baptisms. The Buddhists poured water for monks and the deceased. All water is sacred in Hinduism, so much so that they had seven important rivers. The Muslims must be clean before praying – many mosques have pools of clean water. People of the Jewish faith had mikveh and their ritualistic hand washing – although that wasn’t just Judaism. He hoped every person washed their hands.
Ithica, under the comforting lull of religion and water, eventually fell asleep, pulling his feet close to him and nestling his head in a corner. He dreamt of drowning, of fire, and other things Ithica didn’t like to think about. Then he dreamt of ice, piercing at his skin and making his legs jolt, kicking the faucet. The man opened his eyes sleepily, observing the cut on his foot with disinterest. He shifted to turn off the water, having turned icy in his slumber. He wrapped a towel of himself, mainly out of respect for Rosie. Girls, even in porcelain doll form, should never have to bear witness such things if they didn’t… want to.
“Feeling better?” Rosie asked, head tilted in a mixture of concern and amusement. She had made his bed so it would be easier to crawl in.
Ithica mulled over the question for a while, before nodding slowly. “I am feeling better,” he offered the doll a small smile. “Thank you for asking. I think it’s just the lack of sleep that’s been getting me.” Ithica was a huge fan of sleep, and wasn’t exactly the best around when he got less than nine. Ithica had been averaging about four hours of sleep per night for the last week. He felt like he was turning into a zombie – a demon zombie gifted thing . He collapsed on his bed, wondering vaguely if he even locked the door. With great effort, Ithica lethargically cracked open an eye and observed the open door. “Rosie, if anyone robs us just point them to my wallet. It’s over there on the table…” he murmured sleepily. “But don’t scare them. I don’t want any burglars scared...”
Rosie rolled her eyes at his ramblings. “What if it’s the Hamburglar?” “Never did like McDonalds anyway. Always skimped out my extra pickles…” of course, Ithica had spoken this while half asleep, so it was more like an unintelligible mumble. Rosie was used to his sleepy rambles – he talked in his sleep quite a lot.
The porcelain doll shut her eyes out of modesty while she was adjusting his towel. He had just sort of flopped on the bed. It made her feel a little put out since she had gone through all that trouble to make it. She was barely three feet tall, so making a wide and long bed four times the size of her was not an easy feat.
When she was done situating Ithica the best she could, she meandered over to her rocking chair. Ithica had made it for her when he was twelve, and although it was not the best craftsmanship, and she occasionally felt like it was going to fall apart, it was still hers. Most porcelain dolls got crammed up in a closet after being deemed too ‘creepy’ by children who preferred to play video games, and she got the kid who could bring her to life.
What luck.

Aponi had some buisness to attend to that day. Irnonic, she thought to hersel - the one day she decides to do something, Aaran is ill. She was quite worried - however, not as worried as she should be. Aaran's gift permitted him from getting any illness. Technically. Aponi, didn't know this, and so had left the poor boy to fend for himself.
The buisness she was attending to was a fairly attractive man with a weird name, and hait for bringing things to life. Ithica Pettineo. Aaran's new boyfriend. Aponi found the coupel adoreable, especially since Ithica didn't know. But, to preserve that cover, she had to make sure ithica wasn't going to try any... funny buisness.
Because not only would Ithica be horrified. But Aaran would be upset. And Aponi would hurt Ithica. A lot. She twitched jsut thinking about it, and quickly calmed dow, realizing that being anry before she talked to him wasn't the best idea.
She didn't bother with knocking, she simply formed the nesessary shape for the key and opened the door, and stepped inside. Ithica was asleep on his bed, and some weird porcelain girl was next to him. She rolled her eyes and yelled (at the top of her voice).
"Ithica, if you don't wake up now, I'll boil your brains for dessert. Because I'm a scary witch-lady, and I do that kind of thing." She said. Knowing the man, he's probably leap out of bed in fright. Actually that might not be very wise, as he might not be wearing much. She didn't look away. Aaran's boyfriend or not, she had no qualms with. seeing him naked.

Rosie stared at the woman, clearly annoyed. "Who the hell are you?" She demanded, standing up to full her height. It wasn't very threatening, considering she was a measly two feet. She crossed her arms bravely, knowing that since she technically never lived she couldn't really die. "Can't you see he doesn't feel well, you stupid witch?"
She didn't like humans. She didn't like most species. She didn't like people in general. They were rude, obnoxious, loud, and just so... animated. This lady was proving to meet her expectations to a tee. Besides, Aponi had clearly never seen Ithica when he was woken up before he was ready to. The last time his father tried Ithica had clawed his throat with a growl fitting of a demon.
This time, however, Ithica hardly stirred. He sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "Aponi?" he murmured, trying to gather his wits. Why would Aponi show up in his room? While he was naked? He shifted under the blankets, feeling quite stuck. This wasn't going to be a very fun encounter, this he could already tell. He would have preferred to deal with her when he wasn't feeling like he was going to keel over at any given moment.
Or perhaps she had come to tell him Sophie was sick. She didn't look concerned, though. Just like she always did - boisterous and pissy. "Boil my brains?" He repeated softly, a sleepy smile crossing his face. "They'd probably taste delicious..." He laid back in his bed, resisting the urge to close his eyes and sleep. "Sorry I don't rise, but I don't feel very much like Ithica at the moment. I'm also unsuitable for a lady's eyes."
"She ain't no lady." Rosie snarled, eyes fixated on woman.
"She's not a man, so by process of elimination I kind of assumed.." Ithica trailed off, too tired to argue the specifics of gender.

Aponi smiled at the little porcelain figure. Ithica was a demon of animation, Aaran had told him that much. She turned to the demon and smiled at him too, her eyes closing slightly.
"Cute. I want one" She said, pointing at Rosie, "Maybe, with a little less lip, though." He laughed a little and patted Rosie on the head, before going to sit down next to Ithica. He was quite cute, she concided, after his remark about being un siitable for a lady's eyes.
"Ithica, I've seen so many naked men in my time that it doesn't really make much of a difference to me." SHe shrugged. Shesuddenly felt the urge to shift back into her seventeen-year-old form, and so did with little hassle. Her body wasn't much different, but she did look more innocent, and she glowed with youth.
"So, I thought I'd pop by for a while. Aaran's ill. Dunno with what though." She scratched her ear with ehr little finger. "So, apart from feeling like death, how you been honey?" She asked.

Why was she coming closer? Ithica sat up warily, pulling the blankets around him tighter. He would have offered to animate her something, but the only porcelain dolls he had were the ones that his mother had given him. Not even over his dead body would people be able to pry them out of his hands. "I can Animate you a stuffed animal, if you'd like." He smiled at her.
She wasn't screaming at him or threatening. Not one to hold a grudge, Ithi was more than happy to forget his first impressions. Rosie, however, was as tense as a doll could be, with her stubby fists clenched and her porcelain lips drawn back over her teeth. Ithica sighed, picking her up and unanimating her so that her features calmed. "Sorry about Rosie. She just doesn't like when I get hurt, so she's overly wary of people." He explained, knowing that Aponi probably didn't give a rat's ass.
At her comment about seeing many naked men, his cheeks turned red and he pulled his blankets even tighter. When she shifted forms, Ithica felt even more uncomfortable. Now he was naked in a room with an even younger girl with only a blanket to protect his modesty. "C-could you turn so I can dress, please?" He asked sheepishly.
Aaran? He lifted his gaze from his blanket to her, a quizzical expression on his face. "Is Aaran your lover or something?" Why not? Just because she made claims to see a ton of naked men doesn't mean the demon couldn't settle down for monogamy. Under his 'she has a lover' assumption, he relaxed a little, having convinced himself that she wasn't going to randomly... do something. Females. You never really did know what they were going to do next.
Feeling like death? Ithica giggled, something he hadn't done since he had gotten sick. "I'm fantastic. I'm don't feel like death. Just..." Sad? Happy? Angry? Ithica lowered his stare from her to the floor. "I'm just so tired." He shook his head lightly, quickly replacing his feeling of weirdness with his usual cheerful emotion. "How have you been, Aponi?"

Aponi panicked. SHe's said Aaran? Ekk! Oh no. This was bad.So very very very bad. What if he found out!? No! Aaran would be so mad! And... upset.
Aponi's face dropped like a stone.
Aaran would be so upset. He would sob. And cry. And howl, and he would be so heartrendingly pretty while he did it that it would make anyone want to do something.
"Umm, yeah, Aaran, it's Sophie's middle name... I err, like it better. "She said, smiling and closing her eyes, scratchign the back of ehr ehad in nervousness. Close call. Too damned close. She thought it'd be much easyer to move the subject along.
"Well, Ithica, I'll turn around, but you get thirty seconds and I can't promise I won't peek." She said winking at him before laughing and walking to the other side of the room, and putting her hands over her eyes in the most dramatic fashion she could.
"Rosie, you too dear, c'mon now, it isn't nice to look at diddums dressing even if you ARE made of porcelain." She giggled. She sat on the floor and counted to thirty slowly. Secretly, she actually formed a pair of eyes on the back of her head.
"ONE- So, Ithica, I came to ask about you and Soph." SHe said, coughing. "TEN- I was just wondering, you guys weren't thinking of... you know...TWENTY- I just don't want to see this end bitterly because you rush things." SHe said, all the while peering at Ithica."THIRTY."
She turned around to Ithica was still topless. Aponi like. He had a very nice chest. She walked forward, and leaned againt him, untill they fell down on the bed, and Aponi was leaning over ithica. He's be scared as hell, she assumed, but letting her have some fun was good too.
"Forget Aaran, I'd have you all to myself." She said, doing the classic motion of "walking" her fingers up his chest. She smiled gleefully before leaping down and dusting her hands down.
"But, never mind that, where was I?"

"Her middle name is Aaran?" Sophie Aaran. "What's her last name? I've always meant to ask, but I've just... never felt like it." He rambled, rubbing his neck sheepishly. "Aaran's a fun middle name. My middle name isn't that fun. Not fun at all. Erastus. Sounds like... weirdness..." He trailed off, sitting up once she had turned around.
Rosie covered her eyes, poking her tongue out at Aponi once the demon had turned her back. What kind of weirdo did Aponi think she was? Like she would honestly look at her owner's naked body willingly? She had seen him shirtless and just in his shorts many times, like when he was trying to teach her how to swim. That hadn't gone well.
Ithica flailed as he hurried about his room in search of clothes. He pulled on his boxers, and raised an eyebrow at Aponi's back. "Me and Tink?" He questioned, going through his dressers for a pair of pants. Why couldn't he find any? Gah! "Doing.. oh! Oh no! No no no no no no!" He shook his head quickly as his eyes widened innocently. Gross. Just gross. He finally pulled on a pair of pants as she finished.
"I wouldn't want to see it end bitterly either," he said honestly. He wasn't completely sure of his feelings towards the girl, but he knew he had strong ones. Being an optimist he hoped that meant that even if things didn't 'work out', they could still be friends, although how many times has that seriously ever worked for anyone?
He was in the process of pulling a shirt from his closet when Aponi finished counting. He put the shirt on the bed, watching warily as Aponi crossed over to him, and then was close. Uncomfortably close. He swallowed nervously, his cheeks turning a bright shade of red as he lost balance and fell on the bed. Ithica was tempted to kick the demon off him, to scream and shout rape, to beat his fists against her, and just to cry.
Ithica shook his head. "Aponi, don't do this." He said wearily, watching her fingers cautiously. He sat up once she jumped away, sighing a breath of relief. Ithica buttoned up his shirt, his eyes never leaving Aponi in fear of her pouncing on him again. That had not been fun. He felt disgusting where her fingers had been.
Where had she been? "I believe you were insinuating my untimely demise if Tinkerbell got hurt physically or emotionally."

Aponi tittered girlishly once more, at Ithica's reluctance.
"She really has found herself a good guy. Well, I believe you. You jsut look after her. She's so... breakable." She settled upon the word, even though it broke her heart. ithica'd look after her cute little boy, though, as long as he didn't find out he was a boy. She figured that she'd gleamed enough from him on that topid for now, so she thought she'd be pleasant company for a while. Changing back into her adult form, she turned to him and smiled.
"Her last name is Wilde. Sophie Aaran ap kim Wilde." APoni felt a warm sensation as she said his name, almost as if his bubbly innocence could reach her from where he was lieing half dead in bed. Aponi started to worry about him a little but ignored the growing sensation.
"And, animating me something would be lovely!" She beamed. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second, and dust from around the room gathered together to form her a little dragon, with feathered wings and a long tail, and no forearms. She gazed at it with wonder, to se if Ithica could really bring him to life. It would be great if he could.
Ithica seemed perfect for Aaran, really. Probably a-sexual, so not going to try anything, very ute, quite handsome, and funny and charming. Ooh, that man could charm a cat from a tree if a violent and loud terrier were sitting under it, with his innocence and his cleverness.

A good guy? Ithica chuckled, pulling his knees up to his chest. "That means a lot coming from you." He smiled at her, refusing to let her see how terrified he was at the moment. He bit his lip, his shoulders sagging a little bit. "Are you sure though?" He knew, somewhere in the back of his mind, that he shouldn't be voicing his concerns to the overprotective woman. And yet he needed somebody to know, to maybe pat him on the shoulder and say 'no way, Ithi, you're gonna do great with your first relationship and when your girlfriend's mother threatens to kill you if things don't turn out right'.
He looked at her, sighing. "I've never thought of anybody more than my friend." Ithica averted his gaze from the woman to his hands that were clasped togethers and rubbing his raw hands. He had a bad habit of rubbing his hands until they literally squeaked clean. He unclasped his hands, wiggling his fingers nervously. "I just.. she... sometimes she acts likes she's hiding something from me." He had gotten the same feeling from Aponi, but he decided not to push the topic further. "Sorry. It's probably just my imagination!" He grinned, pushing down his doubts.
At Sophie's full name, he tilted his head. Ap? That wasn't right. The girl was Welsh, he knew that. He had been born there and lived for the first ten years of his life there. He could pinpoint the accent. And ap, he knew, definitely spoke about being the son of something. "Are you sure it isn't ferch?" He asked, twiddling his thumbs with a raised eyebrow. "Because ap is masculine." Ithica tilted his head, not wanting to get into details of Welsh names. He could be wrong, he was hoping so, so very wrong.
But he couldn't help but wonder. Aaran? Sophie had been so nervous when they first met. Dropping hints about things like 'us guys'. He had written it off as colloquial mannerisms, but what if they had been honest mistakes? He shook his head. Ithica didn't want to believe that she'd lie to him about something so... important. So she didn't. Of course she didn't. Who lied about their own gender, for goodness sakes? It was a simple slip on Aponi's part. Sophie had probably explained the 'ferche' in her name, and Aponi, dear clueless Aponi, had asked her what the masculine version would be. That's what happened. That is most definitely what had happened.
He looked up slowly at her, a small smile creeping across his face as she formed the statue. He got out of bed, his bones clicking as he stretched his legs from staying still so long. He bounced over to her, visibly more relaxed now that she wasn't slinking around him. He touched the dragon softly, stepping back a few paces as the dragon shook its body, drifting over to Aponi to perch itself on her shoulder. "You're a very talented sculptor."
Ithica retreated to his bed, hugging his knees again and staring at Aponi with wide eyes. He patted the place beside him to invite Aponi to sit beside him. He wasn't much of a host, but he knew he probably shouldn't leave the woman to stand up and his couch was covered in books and papers from school that he couldn't be bothered to look at now. "Do you want something to eat?" He knew that she, being a full demon, didn't need to eat, just like he didn't, but he thought that perhaps she just liked to. "I only have jelly babies."

Aponi looked at the dragon wrapped around her hand. It in turn looked at her, and flicked it's forked tongue out, and fluttered it's soft wings a little. Aponi scratched it's chin, and it settled to sleep, still wrapped about her. She turned to ithica and smiled. It was a really neat trick, even Aponi had to admit.
"Thanks Ithica." She said, simply, a notion that conveyed genuine gratefulness, and she kissed him on the cheek, like one would do to their cousin. But she felt kind of dumbstruck with the whole name thing. She didn't know anything about it, she wasn't some genius. It was time for some major BS, or things would NEVER work out.
"Ap? Yeah, it means, "the son of". But his dad wasn't called Kim. The Welsh use it as a family name that gets incoporated. And, I do believe that Ferch is the word for girl, however I'm not sure if it would be used in the same fashion. because the names are so old generally, you don't mind many "daughter of"." Aponi thought that that sounded fair enough.
But, Ithica had realized that Aaran wasn't being entirely truthful with him. Which, he wasn't, and ithica should probably have the right to know, to give up and pursue a normal relationship, but Aaran would never forgive her. She sighed. more lieing. Uch.
"And, yeah, he hasn't told you, that he really, really likes..." Aponi was struggling but she knew she could persevered. "He really likes bird watching. That stuff. Bless'd thing - he cant fly for the life of him, even with those wings. He thought it was a little weird, and that you'd be deterred by it." Deterred. She didn't like that. it was a horrible word. She made a mental note not to use it ever again.

Ithica put his hand on his cheek, pouting up at her. He knew it wasn't anything besides a thanks, but it still felt weird coming from his girlfriend's...foster mother thing. He wasn't sure what Aponi really was to Sophie, or what Sophie was to Aponi. Hell, he wasn't even sure that Soph really qualified as a girlfriend seeing as they hadn't even had a date, and that his nerves had gotten to him so he basically fled the library.
At her explanation of Welsh names, Ithica shrugged. He didn't have one, so he had never bothered to look into it too much. Therefore he had no idea if Aponi was making something up or if she was genuinely giving him a lesson on the history of names. "I'll believe you," he said hesitantly, tugging at his shirt. He tried to trust people, he truly did, but he couldn't shake the feeling of subterfuge he got whenever Aponi or Tinkerbell were around.
"After all, why would you lie to me?" Ithica asked, smiling up at her. A mistrusting relationship was never a good one. Never. "Uhm, so... does she give you life force?" He asked, unsure if it was a taboo subject in the world of demons. He didn't know anything about demons. This made him unsure if what he was feeling - the despair, the exhausted feelings, and the urge to just shrivel up in a closet and die - was a lack of life force or just something like the flu. "Sorry for asking. I don't know much about being a demon."
At the bird watching excuse, Ithi lay down on his bed, too tired to keep sitting up. "Bird watching.." He murmured, curling up to a more comfortable position and returned his gaze to the demon. "Are you lying?" He propped himself up on his elbows, a curious smile on his lips. Ithica had no proof of course, and he supposed that if he had wings that couldn't fly he'd be jealous of the birds and watch them as well.
But he wasn't sure, because he had never felt akin to a penguin or an ostrich. "Sorry for accusing you, Aponi. I'm just being paranoid.." Ithi averted his stare, embarrassed by his behavior. Was bird watching that embarrassing? "But I don't see why she'd think that I wouldn't like her based off of that.." He liked to think that it took a lot for him not to like somebody. That included hurting his friends, or.. something else really super mean. Even through that he generally forgave.
Based off of that, he was assuming that Soph couldn't tell him something that made him not like her. "I.. like her a lot. And I don't want to hurt her, so I'd be okay with whomever she is. Be it an avid bird watcher or the first half fairy astronaut." He smiled, looking and sounding way more confident than he felt. "I'd be there for her, just you like you would be there for her."

Aponi sighed. She was such a weak person. Bird watching. Honestly? She had, however come to a conclusion. She wouldn't exactly drop Ithica a hint but say something that would ward him off if he would really have a problem.
"It... isn't that. Sophie has a hormonal inbalance, which makes her very frail and sick sometimes." This was kind of true, she guessed. At least he was frail. "And it means that she'll have trouble... having kids when she's older." She added the final part with slight venom, just to make sure Ithi got the picture.
"She didn't want to say, because those things can be off-putting at the beginning of a relationship. But you aren't going to let that affect how you feel, right?" She said, dust swirling around ehr, and her dragon waking from it's short-lived slumber.
She promtly calmed down. Ithi had said he'd be there for her. Him. Same difference. But all the same, she knew that he simply couldn't let her down, or Aaran for that matter. And hell, he was a pretty lady..guy...whatever, so there'd be not much reason not to. Especially considering he was cute and charming and all the rest of it, she considered.

After Aponi finished her explanation, he mulled over this for a while. Realization dawned on him when he realized she thought they were going to do something to produce babies. He sat straight up, shaking his head furiously and holding out his hands in surrender. How many times was he going to have to say that he didn't want anybody like that? Sheesh. It was like just because he had a y chromosome people expected him to be some hormonally driven horndog of a teenager.
"I'm not going to do anything like that with Tink." He sighed, a frustrated pout appearing. "Boy Scout's honor, 'Poni." Ithi put his hand over his heart, scooting off his bed to stand. His legs were still a bit wobbly so he leaned against his nightstand. He wasn't comfortable with all the dust rising - not just out of fear that she'd turn him into a statue, but because it bothered his allergies.
Her question was, in his own opinion, a stupid one. "Of course not. Daddy doesn't want grandkids anyway. He was hoping I'd be gay." Ithica smiled, his head tilted to the side. "Why would she even be afraid that I wouldn't like her because of that?" His smile faltered as the thoughts began to swirl around in his mind. What if she didn't trust him enough to admit something?
He let go of the nightstand, testing his balance. "You didn't really answer my question." Ithica pressed, taking a tentative step towards her. "Are you taking life force from her?" He inquired, gaining his nerve and crossing over to stand in front of her. Ithi wasn't sure why he was pressing the issue more than it needed to be pressed.
"I-I'm only asking because.. I'm not.. I don't know how life force works." He muttered, rubbing his elbow sheepishly. Admitting that he didn't know about something was fine, but he felt like an idiot for not knowing something that was so important. "My mom was.. is a demon, but not my daddy, and he doesn't know a lot about demons, and so I never really learned.." He would have rambled more if he hadn't stopped to touch his cheek, startled at the tear that had fallen. When had he even started crying? He was losing his mind.
He wiped his eyes, allowing another sulky pout to take place on his lips. He hated crying, especially when he had no idea why he was crying. "I just need to rest. My emotions are all frazzled.. like a teenage girl's." Ithica muttered, and would have leaned against her if that pesky dragon hadn't been there. Instead he merely walked to his bed, sitting down to watch her.

Aponi frowned. Ithi had taken it the wrong way. Sure she may seem a little overprotective, but, Aaran was her kid. He was her whole world. And no matter how much she liked, and trusted, Ithica, she was just never going to ease off. She wasn't like that. It's not like he didn't like her being his mother - SHE was the one taking his life force. He could quit any time. Sure, she'd be upset, but she'd have to go. She had no choice.
She giggled when he shortened her name. No-one'd ever bothered to do that, really.
But he seemed to get quite upset. He didn't seem to understand that, she wasn't talking about anything like that. Maybe she ought to tell him, rather than getting pissed off. Furrowing her brow, and moving her mugh to one side of her face (as a sign that she was thinking, not some creepy transformation trick).
"Ithica Penttineo, I was in no way accusing you of anything of the sort. But, if people take a relationship seriously, the thing most people want in the end is kids." She twitched when he made the comment about being gay. She decided to dwell no further, lest she slip up and make a mistake.
"And, Sophie won't be able to give anyone that." Well, he would, just not the 50% that people would expect. Gahh Aaran was too cute for kids anyway. How could something so cute have babies, something so cute that women the world over became totally stupid whenever they were near a baby? Aponi was not a victim of this, because she generally made them cry. And she didn't like babies crying.
He didn't know about life-force? But, he was a demon. How could he be alive and not know. She looked at him with a serious face trying to examine him. Her father could survive without forming a pact, because he could literally take life-force from the world around him. It was an amazing ability, discovered through being one of the first demons summoned from Leigia.
Oh. it made sense. he was a half demon. Evidently, they didn't NEED life force. Great. She sighed.
"Ithica, life-force is sustainance. Yes, I AM taking ehr life-force. She is very special, because of her abilities, I can take it without it affecting her at all. It can just be done through touch,, that's what we agreed in the pact. My part of the deal was that I'd look after him - mother him." SHe chuckled. In reality she'd obviously come off on the better end of the deal. not deliberately - she didn't WANT to cheat Aaran, but she felt that she had. However, he probably knew this, and didn't mind.
{{OOC: Sage, i think we should ask Chris (because he invented demons) how Life-Force would work for Ithica, or even if he would need it. I Presume he would because he doesn't eat. But I don't know}}

Take a relationship seriously? He sat very still then, something that was odd for the nineteen year old with ADHD. He knew that Aponi hadn't meant to hurt his feelings when she said that, she just wanted to tell him why Soph didn't want to tell him. But it still hurt, no matter what her intentions were. It may not have stung so much if she hadn't used his full name, something people do when they were reprimanding her.
"I've never been much of a baby person." He smiled up at her, forcing her comment out of her mind. "I don't mind children older than eight, though." Unfortunately women couldn't control the age their children came out at. That was a bummer. Ithica would be rubbish at changing diapers, he'd embarrass his kids on a daily basis, and do other stereotypical dad things.
Having been in his own little world, he hardly heard her next statement. He nodded absently. "Daddy will be glad to hear that." Once I gain the nerve and tell him that I even have a girlfriend. A nervous smile and a small blush settled on face. He wasn't sure how his father would react, and it wasn't that Ithica was scared. It was just that he was terrified.
Being Ithica, and Ithica wasn't very good with interpreting reactions, he took hers the wrong way. He had just told her he was a halfer, and she sighed and looked... well, like Aponi! He pouted, hugging his knees closer to his chest. "I'm sorry about bothering you, 'Pon." He apologized, a small smile creeping up to his lips as she told him about Tink.
Him? "'Poni, you just called Tinkerbell a dude." His voice was rather calm considering the fact that his brain had just melted and the pessimistic Ithica was saying 'told you so'. Ithi didn't like the thought of his girlfriend being his boyfriend, because it was.. weird to think that way.
Chewing on his bottom lip, he thought about the way Aponi seemed nervous whenever he inquired about Soph, and the way Tink had been so nervous in their first meeting. Ithi rubbed his head, trying to get the paranoia to settle. It wasn't because Soph was a guy, was it? It was because he was.. he was so handsome and she was nervous. And Aponi thought so too. But that didn't make sense since Ithi really wasn't that much to look so, especially not when he was dying of some unknown disease and his hair was still wet and his shirt was buttoned wrong.
"Is Sophie a guy?" His features lightened as he thought about it. What was the harm in asking? The answer would be 'no', of course. Whether because Aponi was lying or because his girlfriend was his girlfriend. But it would but Ithi's luck to have fallen for a secret guy. He really needed to lay off of the mystery movies. They were making him suspect everyone. Sheesh.
[ooc; that would require me caring enough for Ithi's well being.]
