Minerva lifted her nose just a bit and looked around at the hallways in disgust. "I can't believe I went here...even if it was for a brief period of time.." She muttered to herself as she started down the hall to her left. It was evening now, and Minerva figured Cerridwen was walking the halls making sure nothing funny was going on, though in Minerva's opinion the security here was horrible and if someone were to get in Cerridwen wouldn't be any kind of help against them. She wasn't a fighter. It was a well known fact.
Minerva took long slow steps, looking at the paintings, and moving with grace. Minerva was after all a queen, it's what she did. There were so many paintings, some of which probably didn't deserve to be hung up on the prestigious walls of the school but eh, if the school decided to put them up, so be it.
"I don't see how or why I even tolerated this...sorry excuse for shelter.." Minerva muttered her cool, glassy eyes running over her surroundings. The only sound in the hall at this point was the quick fluttering of her wings. She refused to touch down onto the dirty, ground where students walked.
Minerva would NOT get the hems of her dress dirty by letting them drag on the ground.
In her kingdom she wouldn't have minded...at least there things were clean, but here? In New York? She didn't think so.
Now where the hell was Cerridwen so she could get out of here.

Charlie Broke was running down the halls. He, or, rather, she was not in a good way. She needed to get back to Aaran, who was probably asleep at this point, but those stupid guys had chased after her. This had warranted a change of shape into the form of ehr deceased brother, and some very quick running. Unfortuneately, such was his panic, that he did not see her royal highness. And, such was his panic, that he did not think to stop when he DID see her. And, so he flew straight into her. As he collided with the figure, all the dust and ash in the hidden corners of the hall exploded out into view, and Aponi skidded away, unsure about the person. She ran back to see if she was ok. She had never seen royalty of any kind before. Apart from the nickname given to her as the "Queen of the Meadow", that was. She still didn't quite get why that was. When she laid her dark eyes upon the frame before her he didn't know what to make of it. Someone that so obviously held themselves with such an air of dignity. She almost felt ashamed. Suddenly spitting out the tooth pick she'd being chewing she just gazed, with ehr head slightly cocked, all thoughts of Aaran forgotten... for now. "You ok?" She asked, cringing as she heard her voice. It sent chills through her every time. Hearing the voice so familliar, like it was so real... but no. Charlie was dead. And she HAD to remind herself that. He held out a hand in apology. "I'm Broke. Charlie Broke. Nice to meet you." He said. Fortuneately, Aponi tried for ahigh english voice anyway - not as british as Aarans, which she found adoreable. But all the same, she hoped the woman wouldn't look down on her, for dressing like a street urchin from the 20-30s. She had considered a suit, but it really didn't suit her brother. he was and always would be a juvenile delinquent. ((OOC: Me again ))

Minerva was just floating along when boom this wretched child crashed into her. It was one thing to simply...irritate Minerva, it was another thing entirely to piss her off. Which was what this child did. Composing herself in a matter of seconds, Minerva glared at the darkness ahead. When the person who had run into her gathered up their courage apparently and went over to her to ask if she was alright, she was well startled.
No one, NO ONE ran into the queen in such a way and came back. What...was this person...doing? Minerva looked at them for a moment with almost an impressed glare, but then went back to scowling.
"Who...are you" She questioned for a moment then rolled her eyes. "And why..." She paused looking them over "Would I care?" Minerva asked. She was here for one purpose and one purpose only. She needed to talk to Cerridwen, and if this...filthy creature couldn't take her to her...then Minerva had no use for her. Minerva was cold yes, but she was on top of her game. She didn't take crap, and she certainly didn't fool around.
When the person introduced herself, Minerva just arched a perfectly sculpted brow. "And tell me...Charlie Broke." Minerva began. "Why, why would I be interested in who you are. Of what service are you to me? You've come back instead of scurrying off. What can you do for me, that might spare you from being turned into an ice sculpture?" Minerva questioned.
Yes, lets scare her a bit. Minerva wouldn't put her kingdom or the treaty between the gifted and the fae at any kind of risk over something as small as this kid here but it was a nice thought to just punish them for causing the dust to rise up and swirl around her.

Aponi saw that the woman wasn't happy and carefully withdrew her hand. She then proceeded to change into her true form, so that the queen wouldn't have to look down on her. Or, rather, she wouldn't have to look up. She still had no idea who the stranger was, only that she was really really pissed and that she was very haughty.
Aponi was worried that she'd done something to seriously offend her. But oh well. She had also realized that she had not intended on showing her what she really looked like. But ahh well. Sometimes the best laid plans were put to ruin by circumstances.
"I'm really sorry about that." SHe said, smiling apolagetically. "I'm Aponi Lebennon. Charlie Broke is just another name of mine." She winked slyly. "I don't rightly know why you should care, but I'm a great performer - good for weddings part... never mind. I was just running away from some guys. Charlie isn't popular among the population here. " She said, laughing and scratching her head.
"And, who are you? Haven't seen you around. But then again, haven't been here long. I guess I'd remember someone of your grandeur, though." She said, rather quickly. The woman was giving ehr the chills, and the little part of the air that was comprised of ash started swirling, a phenomenon added to by all the other dust. She told it to stop, and the air settled.
"Sorry - that was me. I haven't ruined your clothes have I?" She was in an apologetic mood today. Not that she didn't usually try to be polite. If there was a person she couldn't sleep with or mother she tended to jsut be over apologetic and polite. Or, so she'd been told. Perhaps she should shut up and move on. Perhaps not.

Minerva looked at her but her expressionless face didn't change when the girl changed into...well a girl. Interesting. Minerva was not in the mood for games, so when the girl winked, Minerva just stared. "If you are not of any use to me, then you--" She paused and blinked once. The girl asked who she was? This...was interesting.
Obviously this girl needed a refresher in her fae history, or maybe she just wasn't old enough to take it yet. Did they even offer it here still? Probably not. Typical gifted. Of course the fae didn't matter, they just DID EVERYTHING FOR THE GIFTED.
Minerva looked to her and blew a puff of air into her face. A breath of frigid air. "I...am Queen of the Fae. Keeper of winter, and all around bitch in charge" She said adding that last title for her own amusement. "And you're lucky I'm not spiteful like the last ruler...otherwise you'd have been...assuming her and I had the same aspects...well you would have been a cube of ice right now...or dead. Pending on how pissed she was" Minerva informed offhandedly.
Minerva grew quiet no longer interested in their conversation.
Then an idea popped into her head.
"Surely you know my sister. Cerridwen. Take me to her." Minerva said "And maybe I'll spare you any kind of punishment." She provided.

Aponi stood and stared for a sec. The Queen of the Fae. Uh-oh. SHe'd reeeally messed up this time.
"I'm so so sorry your highness." She said, curtsying. "If it's any solace, I'm just a common demon raised in New York. I guess the affairs of the Fae would be too high up for me." She beamed. She would try and make a good impression, even though this woman had admitted to being a bitch. Aponi just didn't have the heart to say anything else.
But then she said something. Was that a threat? Was she going to punish an innocent bystander, just sor accidentally bumping into her. That, is what ticked Aponi off.
"Hey," She said, "LIsten lady. I dun care WHO you are, but no-one threatens ME. All around bitch or not." She had probably gone too far. But maybe a little more wouldn't hurt. "You Fae types gotta ask for help from your "aspects". Well, I tell you what, before I even got goosebumps, you'dve been so full of ash, you wouldn't be able to tell your face from your royal ass!" As she said this, all the ash and dust that had been shaken up before, surrounded her in a haze.
Aponi was annoyed that this woman couldn't just be a little nicer. Oh well. She was probably in for it. And Aaran would be worried. Oh dear. Bless him. She should have been there for him, but she had some stupid Queen engaged now. If she even felt a little chill, the woman would learn a very painful, yet hardly fatal, lesson on why she shouldn't piss the demon off.
It jsut wasn't good etiquette. Queens were supposed to be nice to make allies. If an army of demons decided to war against the fae, most likely, the demons would win. It may have been nice to be able to "call upon an aspect of nature, but what was that in comparisson to being able to virtually controll a volcano. Whenever they erupted, Aponi felt strongest. And she knew that a volcano had erupted violently, she could feel it. The increased prescence of ash was a god-send.
She might even be able to give the woman a rather rude awakening.

Minerva looked to her. Ash? She was going to be killed by ash? This...was rather amusing. Now a small smirk played on the lips of the fae and was silent as she let the little demon go on her tangent. She thought...she could beat Minerva? Not only had Minerva been around, for...thousands of years, learning to control her aspect, but she had come from a very long, and powerful line of fae knights, and was one her self...once upon a time. This demon...thought she could take Minerva? Alone?
Dare to dream.
Minerva arched a brow yet again, this time amused. So the twit moved ash. Volcanos. Boo. Freaking. Who. This girl had spunk. Minerva liked that. She almost found it kind of cute that she thought she could win. A student...against Minerva. That made her want to laugh. To bad Minerva didn't laugh, and she rarely smiled.
"You, demon are lucky we are on academy grounds. I would waste no time turning you into a block of ice. That my ignorant little friend IS a threat. When I had said punishment, I wasn't referring from me. If you knew school rules, students must be in bed. It's past the children's bed time. Meaning. You." She said narrowing her eyes.
Minerva was about to turn and leave the annoying demon when she felt a stern hand on her shoulder. With a roll of her eyes, Minerva turned around to face Cerridwen.
"Sister...just who I was looking for. Put your children to bed please, and teach them some manners." Minerva griped to her sister.
Cerridwen had been carrying some flowers and seen her sister in the hallway. This...was rather unusual. Minerva hated the academy, and hated gifted. Why was she here? When she approached she saw she was arguing with a student. Cerridwen rolled her eyes and placed a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Minerva...please..." Cerridwen said softly. "not now." She said.
Looking around Minerva she spied a student who she hadn't seen before. "I apologize, ignore Minerva, she's harmless" Cerridwen said and turned to glare at her sister. "Really Minerva? Threatening students?" Cerridwen snapped. For a moment the student was forgotten and she turned back to give Minerva her attention. "What do you need?" She asked suddenly aware of how unusual this is. Minerva NEVER...came to the academy...ever...
Minerva glared at the demon one last time before letting the temperature in the hallway drop a few degrees, then carried on. "I am afraid things have gone terribly wrong..." She murmured quietly. "The kingdom is being divided...and I do not know by what force, but I will find out. Someone is trying to divide us, and divided the fae don't stand a chance." She whispered. "I want you...to stay at the academy." Minerva whispered. "Until I figure out what is going on. Someone named Lady Violetta is trying to take the throne. I haven't seen nor heard of her...have you?" Minerva asked quietly trying to keep listening ears out of the loop.
Cerridwen bit her lip at this..."Minerva...why would they do this? We haven't seen peace like this in centuries, you've aligned us with most races once again. Why would they want to replace you?" Cerridwen asked upset and panicking now. This was not good. "Let me come home, please? I could help.." She said her Eryk issues currently forgotten.
Minerva shook her head. "No." She said sternly. "Ask the fae that attend the academy though. Find out...what you can." Minerva said.
Cerridwen nodded though glared at her sister. "You...are a pain sometimes." She muttered angry. She knew better than to question Minerva's judgment though. She turned around once more and turned her attention back to the demon. Cerridwen sighed tired suddenly and looked to her. "Where...exactly are you suppose to be.." She asked in a soft tone, quite opposite of her sisters.
(If you want me to re-do my post..I totally will if that's confusing for you at all...>< It's the current fae plot going on...and I can always post with Cerridwen my other character if you need me too.)

Aponi looked first at the queen, and then at her sister. She was absolutely furious. She was visibly trembling. She could feel the air around ehr buzzing, as all the tiny particles in there vibrated, and trembled. She knew that if she did not calm down, that very very band thing would happen. The bad thing that had killed 5 people, because she had gotten pissed off before.
The dust and ash swirled around her, more and more began to pour from the walls, and outside. To Minerva, it would probably seem like nothing but theatrics. But, the more ashe she had, the more power she had. Cold, was a lack of energy, Aponi reasoned. And things moving required energy. Therefore, if she had enough of the stuff for it to be moving around her, the stupid cold would not be able to affect her.
She would also be able to sandblast her. Ash, when hot, tended to turn thigns to stone, but when cold, and fired at high speed, it gave them that lovely bloody, rounded look that can only be acheived by a sand blaster, or an F4 tornado over texas.
She was jsut about to let loose, and smooth the queen's face untill it was a bloodied mess, when she heard a noise. It was a very small noise and she almost didn't hear it. She turned around to see it's source. With an annoyed glance, she let the ash drop, and ran back to the small sleepy figure of Aaran.
She dashed over to him and embraced him. He was really sleepy, wearing a silk night-dress, and wearing wooden sandals. He looked aboslutely adoreable.
"Aaran, honey! What are you doing up!?" SHe said, not angrily but firmly nonetheless. But then she saw him frown, and how lower lip trembled.
"I missed you Aponi." He said with teary eyes. Aponi almost sighed, but she didn't. The boy might eb a little too sensitive, but that made him all the more adoreable. And, she didn't really mind. She smiled at him and kissed him.
"I missed you too honey. I just ran into this bitch. If she had any manners, then I'd have been past sooner. But as you can see I've had to make a mess." She said with a frown. Furrowing her brow she stood, and swivelled around. The ash came together, and became a large golem-like creature.
"You, are a stupid queen. You are supposed to make allies and friends. I am no student. I am Aponi Lebennon, daughter of the great demon Lebennon, who took the life of a thousand men, and became a god in the eyes of mortals. The blood of your people runs through my only son...err, daughter. You are a disgrace." She scowled, and the monster - which stood at about six feet tall, growled.
"I may not be the strongest person in the world. But I sure as hell won't let a bitch like you walk all over me. If I go down, it's with a fight, and I'll do my daddy proud." She smirked. Her father would be proud if he could see her. She had almost been blinded with rage, an she didn't care if she wasn't making sense anymore. She reaslly didn't care.
(OOC: It's fine, It's not too hard to follow - I've read a little bit of the Fae plottage. Minerva has also made Aponi very. Very. Very mad. This is whai Aaran has come to stop her blowing a gasket.))

Cerridwen sighed shaking her head. Children...honestly. "Minerva...leave. Please..." Cerridwen asked calmly suddenly very tired. Exhaustion washed over her like a crashing wave that was produced by an oncoming hurricane.
Minerva only glared at the children and then turned to her sister. " Very well...but Cerridwen, for the love of Lilith stay out of the realm of fae. If I catch you in there, I will personally see to it, that you are kept out. I may not be queen but I sure as hell still have connections. I was once a fae knight." Minerva informed her sister, shooting the child a look. "I can certainly pull a few strings, royalty or not." She added with a flutter of her wings. "Make wise choices sister..." Minerva advised and with that was out the window next to them.
Cerridwen sighed shaking her head. "Like I'm going to listen..." She muttered as she swept back a piece of ebony black hair and turned to the children with a forced smile. Friendly. Calm. "don't let her get to you...she's cold...but she's the ice queen...ruler of winter, whatever you want to call her, she can be a little bit impatient at times" Cerridwen explained and apologized on her sister's behalf. Not that Minerva would ever apologize...
At that thought Cerridwen just rolled her eyes.
"But more importantly, it's past bed time isn't it?" Cerridwen reminded them. "Aponi? Yeah? Please escort this one... Aaran?" Cerridwen said hesitantly "To bed. It's far to late, and you both I'm sure have classes in the morning?" Cerridwen questioned trying to remain light and airy. She was a fae after all it wasn't like it didn't come naturally. "If you'd like, I can walk with you..." She offered though she had other plans for the night now forming.
She had to find out about the new ruler. What was that about? Seriously? Where had this new person come from? Why? Cerridwen was so flabbergasted by it all that for a moment she just gazed out the window, into the blackness of the forest where her sister had disappeared.
Bother, oh what a bother.
OOC:So yeah. I suck. Send me a PM telling me how much I suck. It's alright. <3

Aponi glanced at the retreating queen with disgust. Children? She didn't care how old the hag was, but Aponi was not a child. She didn't care either how strong her "aspect" was. She was a demon of Ash. It took a lot to get to her heart, the only means of defeating her. Whereas this queen was a stupid, weak Fairy. SHe ordered the Golem to take the still slightly scared Aaran abck to his room, and, with eyes wide, he was plucked from the ground and sat crookedly on it's shoulders, chatting idley to it all the way.
"I don't much care for your sister, Cerridwen." She said, cooly. "Age doesn't neccecarily mean power." She said, glumly, full well knowing that it was somethign she had preached before. "But, at least she's gone." Aponi furrowed ehr brow, and bit her lip.
"I'd like to ask, however, what all that was about. Considering I was nearly on the receiving end of a nasty chill, I reckon I should get to know a little of what's happening. Telling a single demon won't kill anybody." SHe said, winking. She wanted to know what was happening - partly to learn more about the other species, to increase her knowledge... and strength.
