The lights of the night clubs were intoxicating. The sound of jazz floated through the air and drew Xavi in. Everything about the smoky club reminded Xavier of her favourite era, the 1940's. Though that could have been guessed easily, considering that the girl looked like she had just walked out of that time period. The dress adorning the girl clung to her curves, while the heels upon her feet seemed to sync perfectly with the beat of the drums.
Xavier was used to the attention she received whenever she went, so as she turned heads, she almost seemed aloof; as if she didn't care about the other patrons of the jazz club. All she was here for was to listen to the smooth and sensual tones of the band.
Settling in to a small booth by herself; her eyes were now fixated on the band. It was almost as if she had stepped back in time 60 years. This club even had the same smell of the one she haunted back in 1945 Chicago, except it was a different time and a different city.
It wasn't long before the waitress came around to take Xaviers drink order.
"Zombie, if you would" she said smoothly, the waitress nodded at her and Xavi watched her carefully as she walked away. The way someone would stare down someone else to intimidate them.
Bright red nails tapped the old carved table top as the band went from a slow sensual song, to a more upbeat and yet familiar song.
"There you go" the waitress said dropping off the glass filled with the potent mixture, "It's not very often someone orders those"
The other girls dark eyes flashed up to her again and a smug smirk crossed the Fae's face.
"I like drinks stronger than most" she said, though she knew most girls would shy away from such a strong drink, Xavi would down a whole bottle of rum if she could.
The waitress offered Xavier a smile that seemed uncomfortable and forced before she left. Her slender fingers wrapped around the cool glass and she delicately started stirring the drink with the provided straw. It had been so long since Xavier had touched alcohol, but given the environment, it would be considered weird to not have any.

"Hold your hats...the roof is 'bout to tumble in
Holy cats...the walls and floors are crumblin'
Hellzapoppin'...hellzapoppin'...hellzapoppin'
The whole gang's whoopin' up the whoop-de-doo''

"Me oh my...it's gonna be uproarious
We'll fly high...tonight we'll be notorious
Hellzapoppin'...hellzapoppin'...hellzapoppin'
And you're invited to the party too
Better look out...ain't no cook-out
We're playin' this one by ear
We through the book out"
