------------------------------------ Wow. Two weeks. Two amazing women. Two jobs to complete.
And a fuck-ton of decisions to be made.
The bustling of young adults made it difficult to truly focus. All about the Vampire, men and women were meeting for the first time, with entirely different mind-sets. The women, seeking to find that one man, against all odds, who truly understood them. Who knew how to be a gentlemen, as well as a man. Who shared that instantaneous connection. The men? Looking for a piece of ass, of course. A struggle that quite commonly led to a wild, intoxicated night in bed; one that was rarely remembered the morning after. The women will leave, feeling used, unloved, and very much nothing less than a piece of meat. The men? They'll feign a macho attitude, and brag to their friends. Believe it or not, they felt little different than the women, after time. So who wins in this scenario?
Bartenders.
Cold fingers flexed rhythmically across the small glass, encapsulating it within his palm. His undead body temperature came in quite handy for keeping his drinks cool that much longer. It wasn't much, but when you've lived for twelve-hundred years, you become desperate for that little silver lining.
Funnily enough, the Shiver Nightclub was one of Delacoix's most fondest of places. Despite his hatred of noise, of crowds, and of people in general. He never really understood why, but there were certainly speculations. Watching many men fail terribly at wooing a woman was nothing short of uplifting. It also felt quite insipiring, to sit amongst hundreds of people who simply didn't know what they were doing with thier lives, instead choosing to waste their pathetically short lifespan on something as useless as a single night of sex. Oh, and they could mix a mean drink at the Shiver.
Sitting at the bar, Delacoix lazily stared into the wall in front of him, musing over recent events. Wondering just what he needed to do about both his job, and his women. One thing he'd always held as the most important, and the other, as completely unimportant, respectively. Yet he could feel these two trading places in his mind. For the (un)life of him, he simply couldn't figure out why.
"I need a hobby..."

Kaine put his car in park and got out. He walked over to his apartment door and put the key in the lock. " What do you want?" he asked to the guy behind him. The Guy took out a paper package and said "We've got a job for you." "What kind of job?" Kaine said. "The Corporation needs you to get rid of a...liability." the Man said. Kaine looked at him and took the package. He opened it and took out a couple of papers. "A vampire named Delacoix DuRêve. It also says that he works for you. Why do you want him gone?" Kaine said while putting the papers back into the package. "He knows to much of the Corporation." The man said. "This will cost you considering how difficult he will be. one mil, no less." "Fine, he's at the Shiver Nightclub in Queens."
Kaine got back into car and looked the papers.'I guess I'll have to go the direct approach figure out the best way of dealing with him' he thought. He started the car and went off towards the Shiver Nightclub.
He got past the bouncers into the club and saw his target at the bar drinking. He flowed threw the people to sit down next to Delacoix and said "Bartender, Whiskey on the rocks ,please." He got his drink and took a sip. "You don't look like a usual clubber." He said to Delacoix.

The immaculate burning sensation of alcohol filled the Vampires' throat as he watched another young man get a Screwdriver tossed at his crotch. It was only when the women consequently reached for her lighter that the situation had the Vampires' attention, and his laughter. Humans were so comically rash sometimes.
"You don't look like a usual clubber." Delacoix had to blink a few times before he fully realized someone was speaking to him. Someone male. He got countless women nagging him all night, to the point where his dismissive replies had become completely mechanical, but a male was something new. His head lifted to the side, allowing him to view the man who had taken the seat next to him without him noticing. Delacoix blinked again, now very aware of how very unaware of his surroundings he was. Not his usual self.
"Nor yourself. What sets us apart is that I look about the age that would be considered the norm for this place, and you do not. You'd be getting remarks like 'pedophile' if you lingered," Delacoix mused, allowing another trickle of alcohol to burn down his throat. A grin slowly spread upon his face before speaking again. "And what, if anything, pressed you into conversation with me? Surely you know this isn't a gaybar, not that I have any of sort of problem or anything..." the Vampire trailed off, eluding to the fact that he was very much bisexual. Not that he needed to add a third individual to his plate right now, Alex and Rebel were more than enough to keep his mind in constant turmoil.
Random flings were really entertaining though.

Kaine chuckled at this Vampires statements. He didn't like conversations with targets , but this target amused him. However this would only last a few more minutes. "I like you're thoughts, son, but I'm just here because of my job." He said while taking another drink. The talking of the Club people annoyed him. He looked at his watch and went to get his money out of his pocket. He looked confused and checked the rest of his pockets. He sighed and asked the Bartender " I'm sorry, It seems i have forgotten my wallet in my car, May i go get it?" The bartender nodded and got one of the Bouncers to follow me. "Thanks, I'll be right back."
He got to his car and got his wallet out of his car. " Hold on a second I need to get something else from the trunk." He popped his trunk and got the first out of two black leather bags, inside was C4. He chuckled at the amount of destruction this was gonna do. He glanced at the Bouncer and said "A present for someone." The Bouncer just grunted. He walked back to the counter with the bag and paid for his drinks. He turned to Delacoix and tipped his has saying. "I'll be seeing you later.....Delacoix." He left the Nightclub leaving the bag under the counter by Delacoix. He walked down across the street and turned around to face the night club. "The Corporation sends there regards." he said while pulling out the remote to the C4 and pushed the trigger.
((you can do the explosion if you don't disarm it or if you just go outside. By the way my car will explode too.))

A hearty laugh told Delacoix what he had assumed - this man had in fact singled him out. If mindless conversation was his goal, his laugh would have been insincere, and followed by a swift changing of the topic. So he either wanted Delacoix for his body, or for something else.
"I like you're thoughts, son, but I'm just here because of my job." Definitely the latter, Delacoix thought. The word 'job' was really a dead give-away that someone wanted Delacoix. Presumably dead. No amount of intoxication would have stopped him from realizing this. But Delacoix was intrigued, as to who, and why. As such, he felt compelled to keep his mouth shut and let the events unfold.
"I'm sorry, It seems i have forgotten my wallet in my car, may I go get it?" Delacoix's back straightened up, full alert achieved. He knew this drill. But his concern was not for hat of his own life, but those around him. A gun-fight in the club would be messy; several people would undoubtedly be slain. What was his aim?
Unfortunately, Delacoix was intoxicated enough to not care enough about those around him to try to do something for them. The bottom of his glass was his only concern until the footsteps of the potential hitman returned. With large bags in hand. Certainly not trying to be subtle at this point, was he?
"I'll be seeing you later.....Delacoix." The words resonated within Delacoix for a moment as the man left. The Vampire was completely sobered by this. The man called him Delacoix. This meant only one thing - the Corporation. Aside from a select few individuals within the Academy (to which there would be absolutely no grounds for such an attack from), the Corporation contained the only individuals who knew of his actual name. Outside of the Corporation, Delacoix always, always, functioned under the name Rêve. To top things off, Delacoix had not given his name to this man.
Clearly an amateur.
A cold hand tore a small hole in one of the bags placed beside him, confirming the truth. Explosives. True Corporation style. Kill it until it's dead, then burn it for good measure. A long sigh escaped Delacoix, as his only real option flooded his mind. Without any further word to the bartender, the Vampire briskly pushed his was into one of the disgusting bathrooms of the club, phasing through the wall and stepping into the cool night air.
It had been a while since Delacoix had experienced an explosion so close in proximity. He'd nearly the devastating effects they had upon his sensitive ears; shock waves that pulsed in the mind and reverberated throughout his body. It was a very sobering experience, if not disorienting.
After several aftershocks of the buildings' contents exploding, the screaming and panicking of civilians filled the air. People began to flee in every which way, illuminated in the night by the roaring flaming. Amongst these pedestrians, the perpetrator became a clear target - his pace slower, his attention elsewhere. With a sea of flames at his back, Delacoix slowly pressed on towards his hitman, intent on settling the score before the night was done.
