Jesse pulled her sunglasses over her eyes as she and her partner, Mark Howards, pulled up to their latest crime scene. It appeared there had been a murder in an ally way outside of a night club. As she stepped out she heard a slighty annoyed sigh come from her partner's side of the car. "I need a break." Jesse raised her brow at them as they began to head towards the yellow tape. "What do you mean? As an FBI agent you should know how much you get called." "Okay, I know, I know, Bones." She was getting oddly fond of that nick name. "It's kind of like a figure of speech-" "No it isn't, a figure of speech is--" "Oh gee, look at that, a body!" Mark cut her off before she could grammatically correct him and walked towards the body. As Jesse approached she slightly grimaced at the gruesome sight. This person looked, well, like a plate of lasagna with teeth. This body had a lot of flesh still on it, but where bones were present she came it, and part of the face was ripped off clearly revealing most of the jaw, teeth and cheek bone. Jesse crouched down and slid on her latex gloves before slightly turning the head. "Male, mid to late forties, African American..." Mark hovered over her shoulder as she continued to look over the body. It was in this short moment that she noticed something odd in the flesh, something an untrained human eye woudln't notice. She raised her hand slightly and made a waving motion, though stayed purely focused on the corpse. "Mark" Her parner quickly caught the drift and began to wave all the others away. "Okay, space people, space." He and the others left, giving her a chance to examine in peace this now supernaturally involved corpse. She looked down along the arms to notice that three felanchies on his right hand were missing and he had a very clear gash wound above his hip. It was like he was mauled. Glancing back at the others she pulled a tiny vial out of her pocket that consisted of a black liquid. Jesse pulled out a Q-tip, dipped it in the liquid, and dabbed it over the flesh around the face and neck. The substance was something she developed over the years called Vampacid, it's chemicals reacted with those found specifically in vampire saliva and turned it green. As it sizzled and turned an eery green her suspicions were confirmed. Vampire, and a hungry one at that. This was probably an act of Blood Lust.

--- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT ) A slight twitch, and the vision faded, her eyes flying open as she gasped, panting slightly. Jerking up from her position, she groaned when she heard her phone going off. Just perfect, she thought to herself, falling asleep in the library again. Eying the librarian who was leering at her, she rapidly placed the book back on its proper place in the shelf, and shuffled herself out of there. How ridiculous, every time she had to read for a class, she fell asleep - why? Frowning slightly, she muttered something in Spanish, before a vision - one she'd just had while dreaming reappeared. The vision tugged at her present vision, just as it swarmed her attention, she noticed a man getting mauled by something swift, scary and fast. Horrified, she realized it had to be a vampire - of some sort. Pausing in mid-step, she hovered near the door, letting the vision fade, before she quickly brushed it aside. She hadn't seen any distinguising land marks, how could she possibly find that one place? Well - the fact was, she wouldn't be able to was the fact. Dark blue eyes focused on her destination, an apartment complex where her twin brother's girlfriend lived, which luckily, she and her were good friends before, probably half the reason Alexander had started to date her.
Giggling lightly to herself, she continued down the sidewalk, enjoying the feeling of being able to spend the money she got from the hospital, $40 an hour, probably because she wasn't a typical professional, but for some reason, they paid her that much, half the reason was she didn't work that much anyway. Only a few hours a day, give or take. Adjusting her washed jeans, the Puerto Rican sauntered down a random avenue, before her ears picked up a random sound - sirens? Raising her attention ahead of her as she adjusted her side bag, noticing a horde of people, she had to check it out. Eagerly heading that way, the young woman paused as she got closer, scanning the alley mouth, attempting to place it, deja vu. Wait - was this from her...no, it couldn't possibly be. Her visions came randomly, or when she looked for a specific person's future. Inching her small frame to the front, the woman noticed another woman, telling them to get back, eying her, this was unusual, was it just a regular murder, or a supernatural killing? Tilting her head, she inquired, "What killed him?" she arched a dark eyebrow, silently telling the woman she wasn't a human or anything of the sort.
Either way, she turned her attention to the body as they were shepherded backwards. Stumbling slightly on herself as she did so, her thoughts raced - she couldn't wait till she graduated and would be able to work with people like this, especially with her Search and Rescue dog, Troy, a golden retriever. Looking to the crime scene, she gulped, the man - the same African American man she'd seen get mauled moments before he officially died by the hands of a vampire. Killing for their blood, it just happened to be in a more public place than usual. Lifting her attention from the body to the woman and the other cops, she lifted her hand quietly to the tape, wondering if she could do what she sometimes was able to do. Well, her phasing anyway, but she wouldn't do that with all these people around. Curiously watching, like everyone else behind the yellow tape, she wondered why they'd do, as she noticed the woman drip something on the body. Wasn't that contamination?
