Hey guys! I'm making 250x250 pics of chars for the Wiki site. Leave the picture of your char, and give me a colour to use for the border. They'll look like this:     I'm also editing parts of the images to include the colour you specify (see everyone's shirt?) Image:

So I'm guessing that we can just turn this thread into the official Mosh Wiki thread? I feel very accomplished now that I've made three pages and added three pictures  How do I make a new section like the ones on Kirien's page? Sorry for all the questions... |

Argh. So I uploaded a picture of Zac and now I don't know how to add it to my page. Damn and super freaking lame. *No, I got it  Thank God for Meg's already posted tutorials on how to do this stuff. **Aah. Goddamn. OMG SOMEONE HELP. So I decided that I'm just going to drop the 'Vaughn' part from Duke's last name. It used to be a hyphenated Vaughn-Bell but now I think it's just yucky and don't like it with his middle name+confirmation name, plus the boy who's last name is Duke's namesake is dehiofdihfdgross now.
I moved the Duke Vaughn-Bell page to Duke Bell, citing character name change as the reason. All went well.
HOW DO I DELETE HIS OLD PAGE ? It seems to have deleted itself : |
How do I link TO images in the character boxes ? As well as anywhere else. If I were going to include images in sections, would they appear in cute little bordered boxes like in Wikipedia ?
How do I link to outside webpages/image hosting sites ?
In Peyton's character box, the list of her family's names aren't on new lines D: Is it because I have too much text ?

Yeah, I didn't know that. I just hit 'Enter' then select New Heading 2 from the toolbar.
I find that using Wikipedia pages as examples and grabbing their codes and shit are extremely helpful :D

In Peyton's character box, the list of her family's names aren't on new lines D: Is it because I have too much text ?Old page didn't quite delete itself, you just renamed the page, basically Linking to images, if I understand your question right, is done like "File:Imagename.extension", as in "File:Eiji.png" etc. If you're asking something else I don't know what it is xD I don't think you can link to outside images, but to link to outside sites, use the button that says "Link" at the top of the editor, and then go to the External Link tab and fill out the shtuff. Also, I imagine you figured out that you need to use <br> to make new lines? |

I went and looked at someone elses page to see how theirs was looking so flash, then felt really ridiculous for not having thought of it instantly. This project is slowly taking me over, srsly. |

Ohh. I was under the impression you meant it was still floating around somewhere out there. Also, for anyone interested, as I'm super lazy right now till probably Sunday or the next time I'm so idle+creative --- I've finally uploaded all the campus related photos I have. They're not mine, oops. I should really privatize my album then but whatever. Mainly pictures of Cambridge. This is for anyone who wants to make a picture to put up on the Mosh main page for the Wikia. |
