She shrugged faking astonishment at the idea of anyone not building a shring to her as well.
"I know, I mean just look at me." She spread her arms out twisting to face him a bit more. "How could you not want a shrine of this?"
In truth she couldn't see anyone making a shrine of her, and if they did they would be labled a creep. If she ever found a shrine of herself she'd freak and most likely burn it till nothing was left but ash.
"Puh, you? An a**hole? They don't realize your awesomeness. Idiots." Almost sounding angry she shook her head in disgust at the idea that anyone would reject him. Part of the act was true because for one he was attractive, and two he was hilarious.
"A few? Heh, I have over a dozen brothers. Maybe two dozen, I stopped trying to keep count." Big families were always fun. "Especially when they started moving away. I don't even know the brothers who came and left before me. Or at least mostly."
There were some older brothers that she held close to her heart and missed terribly. Others she was happy to have left behind. Bothersome little brothers mostly.
Next!
"So you know what I am, and you don't have to tell me. But mind giving me at least a hint as to what you are?" Eve rolled her eyes to him hoping he'd answer and not just dodge the question.

"You'd have to be crazy," Cylo agreed, shaking his head as if disappointed those kinds of people might actually exist in the world.
As much fun as he was having, social situations like this, even with someone who was clearly wise in the ways of Sarcasm, were very taxing on him. Usually his botherings of other people didn't last nearly this long; it was 'aggravate, sit back for a moment to enjoy the results, and be on his merry way.' He hadn't had a single pleasant interaction like this since he'd left home.
Speaking of family...
"Over a dozen? Well, you've got me beat. I just have one lousy dozen, and they're not even all brothers," he said, genuinely impressed. He didn't know much about dragons, but apparently they had pretty big families. In that way, it was kind of cool that they could actually relate to each other.
But he hadn't suddenly grown comfortable again because of this. In fact, his foot had started tapping; a surefire sign that he was itching to run. Not run away, but literally run. He was, after all, Demon of Speed; running wasn't second nature, it was first nature.
But she was asking him another question now, asking what he was. "I'll tell you exactly what I am," he grinned, "I'm Cylo. It's been a pleasure talking to you, and of course, cleaning, but I really have to run. I mean, literally; I have a half-marathon to do. Soo uh, I'll see you around!"
Not even waiting for her name, he took off in a blur of motion, in that way giving Eve a hint that whatever he was, it was fast. He didn't want to be so abrupt, but the way he saw it, if he stuck around any longer, he was statistically very likely to end up saying or doing something he'd regret. So he just did what he knew best.
But there was something in his mind, some twinge of regret for having just up and left, and that would stay with him until he saw the nameless dragon-girl again.

She laughed a bit at his reaction liking this interaction with this random boy who'd walked into her room. It wasn't often that someone calmly talked to her after seeing her rampage like she had. Nor did she usually stay this calm in talking with someone this long.
"Only a dozen? Small family." Eve grinned finding one more thing to like about the guy. Big families tended to connect people to draw them to be with a lot of people. She wasn't used to not having people constantly around her, so him appearing at her door was heaven sent.
"Cylo? But I meant-" and he was, gone? She jumped from the bed running to her open door. He was gone. What had she said? Had she done something to upset him? He hadn't acted upset, or sounded such either. Hands on her door frame she felt a wave of loneliness wash over her, followed by home sickness. She needed more friends here soon or she'd suffer.
Eve backed up and shut the door wondering if she'd see the red headed speedy ever again.
