Remaining calm around Kara wasn't an option. It was impossible, when someone had that much control over your emotions. She wanted to see Aaron cry.
"Or, you can leave all of it," The 'depraved' girl retorted. She watched his demonstration of the burning ball and it did scare her a bit, but she kept her poise by turning her powers onto herself. She was determined to be calm and collected, while Aaron dissolved in front of her. More than determined. She wanted to show the boy that she wouldn't settle with half, that with her it was all or nothing, and nothing was not acceptable.
"You won't hurt me. You won't humiliate me." Kara stated, and the subtle creeping of her power took its roots in Aaron's already abused mood. "You will leave your things here, and you will never see me again." This was her promise, and at the same time she made this promise, she stripped away his calm and made it her own. And she opened the floodgates. Overwhelming emotion, the likes which even she could not control, poured over Aaron. It was like Jessica all over again, but instead of emotions ranging from opposite ends of the scale, Aaron was given every frustrating, tearjerking sadness and depression and despair. He would be left cheerless, wistful, even heartbroken for no apparent reason. Every despondent feeling Kara had ever experienced was reflected and magnified on the unfortunate fae before her.
Cry, Kara urged, expelling more and more sorrow. Cry!

What could Aaron do, but cry?
Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that this sadness was fake, but that could hardly stop him from feeling like his world came crashing down on him. His face started to twist, and became unrecognizable in his grief. The longer he stood there, the longer he felt like nothing would ever be the same again.
"You... monster"
Aaron wanted to lash out, to make himself feel better. In what was a somewhat childish display of desperation, Aaron threw his ball of blazing sunlight at Kara. Unfortunately, his aim wasn't the best as he was seeing everything through a thick screen of tears. The ball of sunlight sailed past Kara and right into her room.
Unable to stop himself from crying any longer, Aaron ran away from Kara, wailing loudly for all to hear.
