Oh shit. Kaylen shrugged slightly; he should have known he wasn't going to get off easy making a comment like that, even if he saw it as a compliment.
"Well, I mean, you seem pretty confident, and from what I've heard, you're pretty active, and love a challenge," and he smiled. "You look like you could kick some ass." Then, pausing, and shooting her a roguish, charming grin, the handsome young man added, "And, you're pretty hot too, in that Lara Croft way."
He was terrible. Terrible yet almost impossible not to love. Realising that he'd somehow spent this entire time standing, the boy quickly turned, took a few steps and dragged the closest unoccupied chair forward, immediately slumping back into it.
"Apparently I play too many video games," Kaylen motioned around the library from the comfort of his seat, before returning dark green eyes to Morgan. "What do you reckon I should read?"

"All that from one and a half meetings?" asked Morgan, arching a brow. She couldn't very well argue with the assessment, as it was nearly spot on. Impressively so, really. Besides, hearing yet another attractive boy call her hot just made Morgan's day, even if he was taken.
"Nothing wrong with playing too many video games," answered Morgan, waving off the comment, "still... book..."
She scanned the library, thinking. Morgan Cavan wasn't exactly a book worm, and didn't know all that many titles that someone like Kaylen would want to read. If she suggested Pride and Prejudice, he'd probably think her crazy. Not to mention the fact that she certainly didn't want anyone to know about her secret love of Jane Austen.
"Probably a rousing adventure story, right?" she guessed, shrugging, "Treasure Island, maybe?"
Yes, Morgan still loved classics. They were classics for a reason, after all.

"Well, Eiji had told me a little about you too," Kaylen admitted. He smiled, remembering how Morgan had liked his best friend, or at least, according to him she had. Not that he doubted Eiji's lady-pulling abilities or anything. Hell, he wouldn't be surprised if every girl in the entire school had crushed on Eiji at some stage.
Well, every girl except Eve. He'd be very surprised at that.
"That better not be a picture book," Kaylen replied accusingly to the suggestion; he'd never heard of Treasure Island before, but it didn't sound quite as...mature, as something like Pride and Prejudice. Not that he wanted to read anything like that, but still...
"Have you read that book The Hobbit? I heard it was pretty good. I wanted to read the Lord of the Rings books after I saw the movies, but someone told me I'd never manage to finish them...or even make it past the first chapter..."
Actually, all of the boys had told him that when he'd mentioned reading the series after they watched The Return of the King. Kaylen had looked sad, and Eiji had quickly told him that maybe he'd like The Hobbit, in an attempt to cheer the young man up. One day though...Kaylen had made it his goal in life that one day he would read the LotR books, and he'd prove everyone who thought he couldn't wrong. But he wasn't sure he had the attention span or the motivation for that quite yet.

"Actually," Morgan held up a finger, smiling, "The Hobbit would probably be a good place to start. I even managed to read it, once. And saw the cheesy cartoon, because my oldest brother loved it."
Morgan shrugged, and again scanned the shelves. Where was the fantasy section? For that matter, she could just force both books on poor Kaylen. He wasn't likely to read either of them anyway.
"Good luck with the Lord of the Rings. I tried to read it after the movie came out and gave up a chapter in," Morgan shrugged, "maybe you've got a better attention span then me."
She shot him a look, letting him know that she severely doubted that.
"But The Hobbit''s a good choice. So is Treasure Island, and you have so heard of it. Long John Silver? Jim Hawkins?" she raised her brows and crossed her arms. "Don't tell me you've never seen a movie based on them or something. I seriously doubt you've been living in a hole for eighteen years."
A guess on the age, but she pegged him to be close to Eiji's age, and she knew that. Comment still worked well enough regardless.
