Oddly enough, Rae had a plan.
It was odd, because generally the rockstar didn't plan much of anything. Rae's tendency was to just take what came to her and run with it. This made her good at thinking on her feet, but planning? Planning wasn't her strong suit.
Still, she'd done it this time.
Eve would find a note next to her when she awoke the day after they'd arrived at the Cavan household. It had been hastily written in pen and had several lines scratched out. Its general message was still quite clear, for all the scrawls.
Meet Rae in the backyard.
Now Rae waited there, crouched slightly away from the door. She'd worn a ragged pair of jeans and a black-sleeveless. Both of which she'd borrowed from Holly, which meant the jeans were a little tight, the shirt a little big. But it worked.
Rae crouched, waiting for her girlfriend to follow the note. Hoping that this worked like she expectd.

Sleeping had been no picnic, and her and Rae were still not on decent terms. She sat up abruptly from her sleeping bad chest heaving from the nightmare of losing Rae to some sexy red head. Eve ran a hand through her hair then noticed her hand was on a piece of paper. After trying to decifer it she just got meet Rae in the backyard.
After pulling on a pair of jeans and a tee shirt she borrowed from the Cavans. She ran her fingers through her touseled, knotty hair before striding out of the room. Wondering what Rae might possibly want with her she headed to the back door. She stopped by the kitchen first to down a glass of juice to wake her up. Then off to the back yard she went.
Opening the door she peered around for Rae but didn't spot her. "Well, hot damn. She tells me to meet her somewhere and is even late for that." Eve snarled moving to go back inside deciding not to wait for her girl friend.

When Eve headed out, Rae was tempted to start the plan. Her body tensed, and she mapped out her path. But she knew better then to do it just yet, instead waiting just a little longer.
Just as Eve turned to go in, Rae jumped up and charged. The plan was to get to Eve before she realized what was going on, wrap arms around the dragon, and hurl her back into the yard. It shouldn't take Eve long to realize what was going on after that.
Rae wanted to literally fight her girlfriend.

Just as she was about to enter the house she felt arms wrap around her. At first she thought she was getting a hug and she softened turning slightly into those arms. Then she was getting lifted slightly and tugged back outside. Her hands gripped at the arms around her as she squawked loudly.
"What the-" Stumbling backwards she twisted and turned finding Rae. Eyes wide she had no clue as to what Rae was planning or why she had that look in her eyes.
She took a few steps backward then stopped and stared at her. "Rae, what's goin' on here?"

Got tae take 'er down quick. Lass is goin' tae figure it oot afore tae long, an' I disnae want tae fight 'er fir a long time, Rae thought as she started forward. She did know that she'd have to explain something, else this could very well wreck their relationship. After all, normally girlfriends don't jump girlfriends.
"We're brawlin'," offered Rae. She looked oddly serious, her expression set. "because I disnae want ye tae use it fir an excuse anymore. Ye tain't goin' tae win either."
Rae lunged forward, her arm blurring out as she attempted a punch on Eve's gut. If it hit, she'd try to follow up and engage. If not, she'd backpedal and move defensively.
"Ye cannae change here, an' ye cannae win again' me wit'oot doin' so," she hissed. "But ye tain't goin' tae give oop, so I'm goin' tae try an' jus' take ye down gentle."

Brawling? What for fun? She grinned and readied herself when Rae continued explaining. At first she didn't understand but when Rae moved to punch her in the gut it clicked for some reason. Eve jumped backwards feeling the graze of what could have been a painful punch.
"Rae, what in the heck do you think you're doing?" Her eyes flashed as what Rae intended on doing really sank in. "You can't be serious! You know I don't have the best control."
Trying to avoid fighting at all she held out her hands in a non combantant way. "Come on, Rae. Can't this wait until later?"
Eve's voice pleaded with Rae but there was an edge to it. An edge that promised violence if she was pressed much further

"Nae! It bloody cannae!" shouted Rae, swinging her arm toward Eve's head. It didn't matter much if it actually connected with the target.
Rae stood there, heaving. she grabbed onto Eve's arm, and then drew the other girl's sharp nails across her skin. Rae knew that the war dragon had to be just excited enough for the nails to have turned into weapons. Rae's skin parted under the nails, blood welling up.
Rae then tried to twist the hand and throw it away.
"Ye disnae have tae worry, lass," she growled. She held up the arm, and the wound slowly closed, leaving only a thin bit of blood.
"I heal now."
Rae's grin was downright evil.

Eve's eyes went even wider as Rae's arm swung for her she jerked her head backward. Rae's hand got her right in the nose which brought a fierce growl from Eve, and was far took shocked to jerk her ar back in time. Seeing the blood well up fromunder her own dangerous claw-like nails she gasped.
"Rae!" Then as the lycan held up her arm Eve's pulse sped up with the thrill that that little bit of information held. She couldn't shift into her dragon form, and what damaged she could deal would heal. Rae had almost ensured herself a fight that she would win. Might not be the cleanest way but it didn't look like Rae cared much.
Hands curling into fists she let out a snarl as she felt the fury boil through her blood like a volcanoe of force. She rushed forward one fist going out while the other hand was open in a slash of claws. One for the face, the other for Rae's soft stomach. Just because the odds were against her didn't mean she'd just roll over. No this fight would involve blood and pain, that one could be sure of.

Rae had been anticipating pain. She figured that once Eve discovered her plan, there was a decent chance the other would fly into a rage. Of course, figuring all this was one thing, actually getting clawed and hit was something else.
Rae's wounds healed as Eve left them, and she made certain to fight back too. Both feet lashed out, attempting to catch Eve on the stomach. Rae's hands mostly shoved Eve's away, though she occasionally tried to land a punch or something onto Eve's torso. There was no fight plan. And it was quite obvious that Rae didn't want to really hurt Eve.
"Ye goin' tae tire oot sooner or later," hissed Rae, kicking out agian.

She grunted and hissed after each impact of Rae's fists and feet, but she kept on going. Eve growled at Rae's little comment as she pulled back a punch trying to distract Rae with her hands. The dragon lunged forward her eyes blood red, teeth bared as she went for Rae's neck. The hands went to any soft spot their could reach.
Yes, Rae was landing plenty of hits, but Eve was doing her best to ignore each one. Rae's punch landed like a hammer, her kicks like a two by four, but Eve was used to getting hit by trains of force. Male dragons did not pull their punches.
"If you wanna in, Rae, you're gonna have to try harder than this." She took a few quick steps backwards before falling gracefully into a back flip where she used both her feet to try and kick Rae. Hopefully Rae would be too busy dodging the feet to try and tackle her.

It hurt a lot.
But Rae healed after each one of her hurts, and she could see that Eve was still carrying hers around. And she was just in possession of enough thought not to succumb to the taunts. It would be altogether too tempting to start really tearing into Eve.
Rae stumbled backward, catching her breath as Eve flipped backward. She then charged into the kick, taking it on her arms. Bruises swelled nearly as soon as the feet connected, but it put Rae that much closer. When Eve tried to tackle, she was met with a shoulder to the torso, and Rae started shoving.
She tried to bring a leg up, kicking out at Eve's leg in a hope of doing some major damage there...

Eve figured Rae would keep going but lucky or her she'd regained her feet before the tackling commense. The kick she hadn't been expecting and let out a loud roar of pain. Her leg buckled beneath her from the pain her eyes seeing nothing but blood.
She jutted out her hands her arms ram rod straight as she attempted to push Rae off of her. Eve needed to realing her leg but she couldn't do that with Rae's fists constantly flying at her. If Rae didn't back off even a bit Eve would have to try some fancy manuevering to get her leg in place.
Hopping on one leg she let her hands do the work trying to keep her balance, and find a way to fix the leg.

The shove worked in getting Rae to backpedal, but the lycan flailed out, grabbing onto Eve's arm. Then Rae leaned back and to the side of Eve's wounded leg, hoping to get Eve down. Her leg lashed out at Eve's other leg, but it was a blind shot, almost as likely to get Rae hurt as Eve.
"Disnae complain o' hurtin' when I'm done!" yelled the rockstar.

A Rae pulled her forward and made her lean down toward the bad leg she dropped her hands. Jerking the knee with a sickening pop she half snarled, half laughed as she struck out at Rae's kicking leg. No way would she have that happen again if she could help it.
"If I can't move, not like you're gonna enjoy me anyway." Eve lashed out backhanded toward Rae her arm covered in deep crimson scales up to her elbow. A spike started to protrude from that elbow joint, but Eve caught it not wanting to shift anymore to dragon form than she had. Her hair was shorter, and her skin was rough to the touch.
Rae just had to concentrate on fighting, Eve had to make sure she didn't turn into a rampaging lizard in the middle of surburbia.

The backhand caught Rae by surprise, and sent her sprawling. Already she could feel the wolf rising up within her, insisting that it come out and play. That its claws and teeth could make short work of this horrible lizard in front of her.
Spitting, Rae glanced over her shoulder at Eve, waiting for her regenerating powers to catch up to the latest wound. "I disnae want tae f**k ye righ' after. Tis so ye disnae have nae bloody excuse when ye finally f**kin' ready."
Rae spat, wobbling to her feet, "'sides, at least ye letting me f**kin' touch ye now."
Rae's eyes had taken on a decidedly golden hew, and she was trying to take a bit of wolf in. Just enough to work to her advantage. It was that or start getting fuzzy in the middle of Cairo, and that wouldn't work well.
Snarling, Rae launched herself in a tackle at Eve.
