Minerva waited...and waited. Damn it. He was a smart fish. Now he was shouting at her. "Work...well work does not need to be done. I am queen and what she says goes...and how do you know what I was thinking? Hmm? I said I would never be able to stand you, and look now Cal" Minerva said.
Leaning up she kissed his neck pulling him closer. "Come on Cal...am I Minerva? Hmm?" She questioned into his neck as she pulled away to look at him, her face growing somewhat serious and watching.
"And plus...work does not need to be done, and I shall not explode, because I don't want to. So there" She snapped slightly "And remember, I hated talking about sex with you, I wouldn't consider it, and well clearly we are no strangers to THAT AREA of talk." Minerva said as if to prove her point, and with that kissed his neck again. "Just a bit more Cal...no work. We don't want work right now." She murmured laying back down on her back looking up at him. "And it's just...so boring, there just...I don't want to." Minerva complained slightly and ran her hands up and down his arms softly as she caressed his arms gently.

Unfortunately for Minerva, seduction would not work on Cal. Especially when he had a certain idea in his head, like now, for example.
"Yes, but this is exactly what an evil seductress would do!" Cal pointed out. He extended a finger and wagged it in Minerva's direction. "An' everyone knows about the whole sex issue, but Minerva, she's obsessed with her work. You don't want to work. Ergo you are a evil seductress shapeshifter here to steal my lifeforce!"
Cal leaned down, narrowing his eyes as he studied Minerva closely. "I'm on to your little game, sister."
He prodded her stomach with a finger, grinning evilly, "I should give you one last chance though. If you truly are Minerva, prove it somehow. Not with your evil robot mindgames though."
Cal nodded, crossing his hands over his chest and looking down at Minerva. "C'mon demonic seductress, I'm waiiiiiiiting."

Minerva looked at him, eying him as she wasn't sure what to do. "Cal, damnit you will do as I say!" She said finally looking to him letting out a little sigh. She was...well had been going to let him be the dominate one...for once, but it turns our he just doesn't want that does he? Well it wasn't her problem. Not her problem at all. "And don't touch my stomach" She snapped and let a sly smile spread as she got up now pushing him off and getting to her knees. Minerva was not taller then him, though she wished she was, she wasn't. This is just ridiculous that she had to deal with something like this. She was queen for god's sakes, she HAD to be the bigger person here.
"Cal, I don't have to prove anything to you. You should be the one having to prove yourself to me, pfft, proving to me you deserve my name, my house, my rules" She flashed him another sly smile before turning serious and looking up into his eyes.
"and I am NOT obbsessed with my work. Your just to observant and you take things the wrong way. Clearly" Minerva stated. This was an interesting little game they had going. Very interesting, and not at all amusing. She wanted sex. Clearly she wanted to have herself just a bit of fun before she had to start that paper work later, this was NOT fun. Him denying her? Not. Fun.
"Cal, do it...or I'll go find someone else" She threatened. She had eyes and ears around teh castle, the kingdom even, the labryinth, she knew everything, saw everything, she was the ex queen reincarnate, without the whole, plotting to take over and kill everyone with the fae race. No, Minerva wasn't THAT crazy. Just crazy for Cal, which she shouldn't have been.

"No you won't," Cal responded. He looked directly into Minerva's eyes, unblinking and wholly serious. "We both know that, so you really ought to find another threat."
He scooted closer, putting his arms around her shoulders. Both hands flexed over her neck, moving up to cup around the back. There the fingers could play freely, and he even let one slip around her jawline.
"Besides, you're mine, if I found you had someone else, I'd be forced to kill him," again, he looked quite serious. Scooting closer yet again, he looked into her eyes. A few muttered words, and the temperature in the room dropped slightly. That was one thing that always entertained Cal with the relationship. Since both spoke to the same aspect of nature, they could both stand the effects. Nothing quite so entertaining as that.
"You know, you sound very stressed out," he nodded, "you ought to consider something to relieve that. You sure you don't want a massage?"
Cal snapped his fingers.
"Wait, I have a suggestion," he stretched out his foot and kicked the paperwork away, then grinned up at Minerva. "How about that?"

Minerva looked to him as if he had just challenged her. Well, that was a lie. He had just did it. The sad part was, she was glad he did. She wouldn't. But now she would have to scare him. "Well...Cal..." She said and looked to him and shrugged. "I love you but...I can have as many men as I want. I'm queen remember?" She asked and shrugged.
"And Cal, FYI, if you killed any one of them, I'd have to kill you, and that I don't want to have to do." Minerva insisted as she felt the temperature drop. She felt it to, it might have possibly been because she was trying to turn cold on him, or it may have been a sign. One of which she was clearly wanting what he was not offering. Damn him. He was so annoying, because this was pissing her off. Her games in general.
As he talked, Minerva listened. Stressed out? How long did it take him to realize this. "I'm not..." She murmured "But maybe...that would be nice" She uttered as she laid back down again and sighed. She pulled off her shirt yes and just waited. She wanted him to put his cool hands on her back.
"That works too..." She uttered as she watched him kick the papers away.

"Aww, you wouldn't kill me," Cal insisted. He grinned, hopping to his feet and watching as Minerva got situated. The shirt flopped to the ground, and Cal's eyes bulged slightly. Things were certainly looking up, or at least something was.
Whistling, Cal mounted up, placing a knee on either side of Minerva's body. He rubbed his hands together, then whispered to Winter and blew on his fingers. A light chill drifted over them, cooling them slightly. Not as much as Cal had intended, but he couldn't be perfect, after all.
Leaning over, he placed the cool hands just under Minerva's wings, and began kneading the flesh. The expert touch darted over the proffered skin, working its usual wonders. Tension would vanish with the skilled workings, leaving behind pliant, relaxed flesh.
Cal arched his body further over Minerva, almost close enough for his clothing to touch her bare back. His lips nearly touched her ear, the cool breath tickling against her lobe.
"Did you even realize that you admitted to loving me in there? Or does it just come so easy to you now, like breathing. Has loving me become a part of your existence, Minerva?" Cal challenged. He placed both hands against the small of her back, palms pressed into the skin. Shifting back, he put weight there, and then began digging fingers along the spine, again working wonders.

With the tension gone, Minerva started thinking, about the kingdom, and it's needs. The evil courtiers who still gave her dirty looks, knowing she would be the next one to go crazy. She wouldn't though. Minerva had a firm head on her shoulder's nothing would happen. Surely nothing would. Cerridwen was her sister, and sister's didn't let other sister's go crazy...though sister's DID do horrible things to one another sometimes...
Minerva blinked for a minute. Had she really just thought that? Pushing the thoughts away, she relaxed deciding it was just best to not expand and just push work and everything else out of her mind. Right now, Cal was on top of her back, giving her want she really really wanted, and life was alright. Not great, but just alright. Things were some how starting to look up. At least for Minerva.
feeling his cool breath on her ear, Minerva shuddered only slightly. Though a shudder from Minerva shouldn't be taken lightly. That was a real accomplishment right there.
"Cal, maybe I said that to trick you..."Minerva whispered her voice growing soft and lofty. "Then again, maybe I do love you" Her eyes caught his for a minute and she held the gaze. "Or maybe I just said that because like you said, it just comes, and it's something to say, that's almost as easy as breathing." Minerva informed and closed her eyes closing off the connection between them. "Or maybe I just want you" Minerva smiled now, her eyes still closed. "I mean I am laying here without a shirt, that must count for something" She teased slightly.

Again, Cal's fingers danced over Minerva's skin, lightly drawing lines down her spine. Masterful finger swirled around her shoulder blades, relieving the unique tension that all Faeries had in that area. Once though, he let his hand trail down her side, lightly flicking across her front before nimbly darting back.
"Ooo, you want me, you don't know if you need me, but oo, you're dieing to find out," Cal sang, his voice turning the unusual nineties love song into something almost moving. The words should slither down Minerva, caressing her as well as his hands. Cal had picked up a few useful tricks in all his years of rambling, after all.
"See, I already know youuu loooooove me," he said. His hands went to the small her her back, and he leaned in. Fingers dug into the flesh, pulling at it and relieving tension.
"we ought to do something about your pants too. Give you a full body massage, I will."

Minerva smiled slightly as she listened to him. "I"m not amused Cal...your acting silly you know" She murmured wincing as he pulled at her back. That...some what hurt. It was very sore...and tight and not at all feeling good. He had just hit that one spot with that...kink worked into it and it. After he loosened it she relaxed slightly.
Minerva thought for a moment before answering.
"Yes. I do love you" She said firmly. He pulled again and she just let it go. No more wincing. It was starting to feel nice again anyways. "I love you very much Cal, and you assume differently well shame" She scolded.
As for his next comment, a sly, smile appeared slowly. "Well Cal, how about your king for the night hmm?" Minerva asked now, turning her body around, this now was her under him, her back was to the couch and she was facing up, looking directly at him. "How would you like that yeah?" Minerva questioned ran a hand through her black hair slowly looking to him, watching, waiting for his reaction.

"Of course I don't assume differently. I hardly assume at all," Cal teased. His hands had begun wandering again, refocused on the task at hand. Of course, this meant he was caught by surprise as Minerva turned, and his hands wound up where they shouldn't.
Some people might jerk their hands away or act embarrassed, but Cal wasn't some people. Instead he speculatively examined his half-nude lover, eyes taking in her features. Apparently he liked what he saw, for he leaned in, gently kissing Minerva's lips. As he parted, he wandered to her ears, chuckling softly.
"Every day I get to be king, or at least have my way with the Queen," Cal nuzzled Minerva then, kissing her jaw near the ear. "I'd love to serve her Majesty from time to time, make myself."
He drew her ear between his teeth, lightly nibbling before letting go, his breath tickling the recently wet lobe, "useful."

Minerva looked up to him and eyed him unsure. "You assume. I've seen you assume. And be wrong" She filled in and reached up and let her nails trail down his cheek softly before resting her hands again now at her collar bone and watching in silence for a minute.
As Cal placed his hands in forbidden places, Minerva simply watched.
"Enjoying yourself Cal?" Minerva asked arching a brow, as if she was silently taunting him. Apparently for he leaned down and kissed her and moved over to her ears.
What was with her ears? It wasn't as if they were very special, they were pointed, and horribly small, and not at all attractive, then again she was like that. She said things without really giving any thought, as to what she was saying. Not a good trait sometimes, and especially when it had to deal with herself, she would ramble, possibly about her flaws, or mistakes. A bad habit.
"Be my king then Cal." Minerva whispered getting into the moment. This was one of those times, Minerva wasn't paying attention to what she was saying. Things, things that could have multiple meanings, she said it one way and he may take it the other, or perhaps, just maybe they were thinking the same thing. Who really knew between Cal and Minerva.
"Your useful to me, and that's all that matters" Minerva whispered, her breath coming out as frost this time as she leaned forward to nip at his neck playing with him now. "Be useful now then"Minerva taunted once more, the sly smile still upon her lips.

"Oh yes, I certainly am enjoying myself," agreed Cal. His hands, already placed on that lush territory, initiated their skilled tasks. Again his fingers kneaded and teased flesh, moving masterfully over the luscious terrain.
He noted her statement, and knew full well how he could take it. Again he leaned over, drawing himself into her chilly breath, and whispered, "Should I so choose, Minerva my love, I could take that as a marriage proposal."
He lay against her, trapping his hands between their bodies, his eyes boring into hers. "I like being useful. I do it all the time, really."
He stretched his neck out, lightly kissing the edge of her lips. The hands again moved, kneading flesh.
"Aren't I useful now? I could always stop... there is the work of paper," Cal's eyes drifted to the papers on the floor, and his eyebrows shot up.

Minerva looked to him. In the eyes directly. "Maybe I did...maybe I didn't Cal. It's time for you to wonder." Minerva whispered "But as you wonder maybe actions should speak in place of words hmm?" Minerva asked slowly blowing on his skin with frost. "Maybe that might be best after all." Minerva suggested.
She honestly didn't know what she wanted. SHe wasn't sure. What would happen? Would...he deny her? Take her? Minerva even wasn't sure of what she wanted. Maybe...ther ewas a way they could both have their way...just..be one of those couples who were engaged forever. That could work...and they were just forever engaged..after sex she would have to suggest this. After all their fun and games, she was seriously considering this.
"Cal" She whispered kicking off her pants now and trying to wiggle free of the wretched things as she let her hands play with his button on his pants. "We both know there is no paperwork involved in what I want to do..." She whispered.
Minerva slipped her hands under his shirt, though she saw no need for it and sighed. "Cal...let me ask one thing first.." Minerva sighed. "I...heard something. I don't think it's true...and I didn't want to..and I still don't want to." Minerva agreed "And I trust you...what happened between you and....Riana?" She asked. "I have eyes and Ears everywhere Cal. Call me the next Lilith if you will...I just want to know." Minerva said completely honest.

First Minerva had begun undressing, which only served to excite Cal further. It looked like pants were coming off, and Cal had always found pants to be wholly uncomfortable things anyway. They certainly needed to be removed more often. He helped divest Minerva of those tossing them away.
Then she'd diverted the paperwork issue, which was another plus in Cal's mind. True, they'd have to get to that eventually. But clearly neither was in any position to do it. You had to wear pants to do paperwork, right?
Finally Minerva had asked Cal the rather difficult question, and one he'd honestly been expecting. He'd never been one to lie (unless he knew he could get away with it) and he certainly didn't want to deceive Minerva.
"Nothing's happened between me an' Riana, really," he mused aloud. He arched his brows and looked down at Minerva, backing up in case she wanted it after he said what he needed to. "I flirt, Minerva, a lot. An' Riana's always been a favorite target of mine. She's beautiful an' uptight. I'd be liein' if I didn't admit it's tempting. I'd prefer to have both at once, but that's probably not going to happen."
he studied his nearly naked queen for a few moments, then shook his head, "No, not even for my birthday. So, what it comes down to is that I happen to be engaged to the Queen. So as much as I'd like to flirt an' play around with Riana, it's never going to go anywhere. Unless that whole threesome thing's an option, but I really can't you sharing."
Cal sighed, rubbing his face. He then peeked at Minerva, expecting the worst. "It's not something I can really stop, Minerva. But I swear nothing's happened an' nothing's bound to happen. I'm horrible but I'm not that bad, honest."

Okay...so not the answer she had been expecting. So he would honestly choose Riana over her? Is that what he was saying? That he would....take this guard over her? This was certainly NOT okay.
Though which one to blame...which one to punish. She would certainly punish both, but which one more severely?
She looked to Cal, his face, the eyes she loved, the silly grin that once was there, now isn't. Why wouldn't he smile? Oh yeah...because he did this. She did this. She did this to him. She needed to go. How simple and easy it would be to just..simply get rid of her forever, and never have to deal with her again, then again she'd have to deal with Karmine, and that would be a tad bit difficult, maybe she could just exile Riana from the walls of the fae city? But there again Cal was still able to get out and go see her...oh how frustrating this was.
Riana should have known better, known much better then mess with Minerva. Why had she done it, Minerva knew Riana was a knight, but that was going to have to end. Immediately.
As everything went through her mind, she realized she WAS being a tad bit harsh, but then again, she knew she wasn't getting the whole story. Maybe Riana had always like him? Then again, maybe Cal played a part in this too. It after all took two to tango, and she was totally forgetting Cal. Did he love Riana? Was it...a mutual feeling between them, and Minerva was just...something here to amuse them?
Well maybe Minerva would amuse THEM for awhile. This angered her, but she didn't let it show on her face. She just looked to him, her face stone, cold. Fine, if he wanted to play games then she could play games alright.
Minerva looked up to him and pulled him closer to her she didn't look into his eyes, but instead started again, his shirt needed to come off, then when that was off, she simply looked at his bare body and leaned up to kiss his collar bone moving up to nuzzle on his neck, waiting for him to start or so really anything. All she had heard was silence from him since his 'confession' and right now she didn't want silence. She wanted their to voices to mix.
