It was so beautiful outside today. The sky was clear and bright blue with barely a cloud to be seen, and the sun shone warmly down upon them, yet there was still enough cooling breeze coming through that the temperature wasn't at all unpleasant. Teriesa loved this weather more than anything; it always reminded her of home.
Dressed casually in a pale yellow singlet, light blue denim shorts which complemented her long tan legs, and her slightly worn black Volleys, the young woman had decided to walk down to Masonville; she wanted to make the most of this perfect day, even if she didn't have anybody to spend it with.
Reaching the small Masonville cafe, and deciding that a honeycomb Expresski sounded so good right now, the Royal Dragon turned in, pulling her ipod earphones out as she walked, wrapping them around the device before shoving it into one of the pockets in her shorts. She placed her order with the young brunette girl at the front counter, then found herself a vacant table, one of the booths with the most comfortable chairs.
Grabbing one of the magazines the cafe provided, she smirked; Cosmo Bride, ha. It was better than nothing though, so Teriesa found herself flipping it open, just as her drink arrived. She twirled the long black straw through the sweet, rather unhealthy drink, and ate some of the whipped cream and honeycomb pieces from the top as she lazily looked at photos of wedding dresses, imagining what her wedding would be like, if she ever actually got married. She couldn't see it happening, really, not with her luck. But it was always nice to dream...

They'd been out of milk, for them and the puppies, out of bread, cereal, eggs, vegetables, condensed milk, ice-cream, dog food and generally just everything. Eiji had been elected to go grocery shopping three weeks ago, when it was discovered that it was one of his more gayer pleasures. Draco had teased him about it relentlessly until Eiji had threatened to throw his Lauren Conrad box-set, consisting of The Hills and Laguna Beach, off the balcony. He'd been done for the morning, everything on the list checked off, until he had to make the trek out once again, having forgotten pancake mix and popcorn.
His temporary, less loved car was parked a little farther down the street. He'd pulled up at the nearest 7-eleven and at the last minute, had decided to walk to the small cafe a few store down. His second run of two items had turned into several, and he was laden with three bags; juice boxes, Nesquick and Christmas tape being a few of the things he'd thoughtfully added. The weather might have had something to do with his good mood, except that he'd been looking and feeling like that for a few days now. He supposed sorting through really heavy stuff with the girl he was head over heels in like with, among other things, may have been a big playing factor.
"Teriesa?" he said questioningly as soon as he walked through the door. The blonde was exceedingly familiar and hard to confuse with another; it had to be her. He hadn't seen her since the end of October, but she'd looked good then, and even better now. "Are you getting married?" he asked, quirking a brow and looking entirely conceited, but he really couldn't have helped it.
