Despite having a perfect memory herself, Morgan wasn't nearly as intelligent as her friend Locke. Sure, she could remember stuff just fine, but she hadn't read the right books, and she didn't know how to work it.
But even a jock could figure this out.
"Uh... Locke," Morgan stepped closer now. She couldn't touch him, no, that would be a very bad idea. So she just extended a hand toward the boy who held a crackling electric wire. "We really don't want to get attention, remember? And you really, really, really don't want to deep-fat-fry the dumba**..."
Said thug just leered at Morgan. "Still letting girls protect you, freak?"
Morgan glared at him. Why did she bother, really? oh, yeah, because she was one of the good guys..
"C'mon, Locke. You've proved your point. Let's walk away before you kill somebody..."

"He'll be fine Morgan." Locke said making an arc of lightning leap from the wire and crackle across the bullies arm, which burned slightly and then healed almost immediately.
"It has been observed that people who have increased muscular mass tend to develop cellular regeneration as well." Locke smiled. "I couldn't hurt him seriously with this if I tried. No, I just wanted this so I could try something."
He looked to the boy, not paying any attention to the crowd that was captivated by the fight. The boy grinned, not feeling threatened by Locke at all. After all, he'd just said he couldn't hurt him.
"Tell me? Do you know why they use copper for electrical wiring?" Locke continued without waiting for an answer, and the bully leaned back with his arms crossed, confident in Locke not being able to do anything to hurt him. "Not because it's the best, oh no not at all, because it's the most cost efficient. If they used the best conductor they had enough of, it would cost thousands of times more. And do you know what that would be?"
Locke moved to touch the live cable to his chest, a very odd grin splitting his face. "It would be silver." And with a light the cable touched his chest, or rather the vest on top of it. And to be even more specific it touched the silver threads, which ran through this outfit as a kind of circulatory system, like that plan he had made back in Kennedy's class. The lightning crackled around the garment, down his legs and arms, and around his fists, making them all glow in a pale blue light. It was dazzling, earning him a huge gasp from the crowd.
"Hmm." Locke said, looking at his hands, observing the glow. "So it worked...excellent."
"I may not be the most creative..." Locke said, copying a stance he'd seen Morgan demonstrate once before. "But I call this my 'Shining Armor.', and nothing you can do will get through it." He added with a smile.
The bully just looked at him, trying to hide his surprise. "You gonna keep talking or fighting?"
Locke shrugged. "One more thing. You'd be amazed what an electro kinetic with a perfect physical and mental memory can learn from being tazed." He said, making a fist.
"Your little light show isn't enough ta make you any more then a flashy wimp!" The boy called as he bound towards Locke in what was more a leap then a step. Locke pulled his fist back, again copying Morgan, and threw it forward full force.
The fists collided mid air amidst a small surge of lightning.

Locke's whole spiel went mostly over Morgan's head. The sporty girl simply didn't have the know-how to figure out what he was talking about. It was something about wires and conducting, and well, she just chalked it all up to Locke being incredibly smart and left it at that.
But she did get the shining armor bit, and was beginning to piece things together. Locke had used that super-genius brain of his and gone all Batman on them. Which meant that now...
now the Bruiser was in for a lot of pain.
While the guy probably deserved it and would most likely learn from it, Morgan still wasn't going to let him suffer that much. For one thing, Locke and Morgan really didn't need that much attention. For another, there was some lines that Morgan didn't want Locke to cross.
So as the fists went toward each other, she darted forward. Her leg snapped up, connecting with the bully's chest as fists connected. The impending shock traveled through the bully's body, rocketing him backward.
A bit also hit Morgan, sending her spinning to the ground. There she lay, twitching a bit, her hair shocked out in all directions.
Wincing, she reached up to touch it, almost chuckling at the little shocks.
"You done being stupid, Locke?" she asked, turning and looking up at Locke. She didn't move. Not yet.

Locke tried to stop the punch when he saw Morgan get in the way, but found his body couldn't react as fast as he wanted to. Locke's fist completed a circuit through the boy's body, but Morgan's foot became an extension to the circuit, which wasn't good at all.
"Morgan!" Locke shouted out, not paying any attention to the bully who was out for quite a while. Locke had learned from his last mistake, he had accounted for the muscle mass this time around. His 'armor' fizzled away, since he'd used up the current in it, and didn't have a battery to recharge it.
"W-Why did you get in the way?! That was designed to take down someone with super muscle mass, if you weren't as tough as you are it could have seriously hurt you!" He explained, exasperated. He went to reach out to help her up, but saw strands of her hair pulling towards his gloved hand. Still a high voltage, all he needed to do was supply a path for current to flow to hurt her.
"Uh, I don't think I can help you up yet." He said. "But yeah...we should-"
It was then the sound of boots clattering around the hallway made him look up.
"Crap." He muttered. It would have to be agents.

Veronica, of course, was having another one of her bouts of bad luck. She had been assigned as a Gift Tutor just as half the faculty of the Academy went on some mission or whatever. Of course Veronica, the rookie, would be left behind. Presently she was playing Agent as some students reported noise in the Edengrowth Dormitories. And of course, we couldn't have that.
Veronica reached the epicenter of the noise out of breath, hair everywhere. "What's going on in here...?" She didn't yell, despite her frustration. She scanned the teens in the room, recognizing only one student, the bully currently on the floor. If only she could remember his name... she knew he had super strength, and was having difficulty controlling it. Anger management issues and all that.
She had never seen the kid in the snazzy outfit or the girl on the floor. "I need names, ages, and a reason why you all are on the ground. Now." Strangely enough, the boy she couldn't recognize was the only one standing. He didn't look as if he'd have a chance against any of the others in a fight.

Despite being slightly charred, Morgan was still in fairly good condition. Being kidnapped, prodded, and molested by demons generally left you tougher then the average sixteen year old. In fact, the girl flipped to her feet and immediately began attempting to control her mass of hair.
"I'm Lorelei Anderson, and he's Lance Jameson," replied Morgan, pointing at herself and Locke in turn. Both the names she'd given were students that she remembered, and they'd even have real records. Of course, they'd find out that Morgan and Locke weren't Lorelei and Lance, but by then Morgan planned to be long gone.
"We were just getting some stuff from Lance's room when the big guy decided to be an idiot," she explained, jerking a thumb back. she opened her mouth to continue, but wound up coughing instead, so much so that she doubled over. She held up a finger, then slowly rose to a fully upright position. "Lance zapped him; I got in the way. That's pretty much it."
A pretty little lie.

Lance Jameson? Locke knew something about him, having done his research on the students who trained often.
"Right." Locke replied smugly. "He bit off more then he could chew. Sorry for the disturbance, but anyone here can tell you what happened." He said gesturing to the crowd. They were his peers, so they shouldn't rat him out.
"So, uh, sorry about the disturbance. Is there anything else we can do for you?"

Veronica bit her lip. For some reason, these two looked familiar... but she couldn't place where she had seen them. "And your name again...?-" She addressed the bully, wishing she had a clipboard of some kind to make her look like she had a bit more authority. "I guess I'll have to take you down to the Agent office. Normally I wouldn't, but it has just become standard procedure after the kidnappings."
How scary was that? Veronica shuddered to think that four kids had been kidnapped from school. And so young too! The oldest one had to be about sixteen. She looked nervously at the three.
((sorry, short post, gots ta go to bed))

The bully from his place on the ground twitched a bit, but stayed silent and relativly motionless. Locke spoke up as to explain.
"He can't move easily. The electric current stunned most of his voluntary nerves, making his muscles hard as stone right now. That includes his mouth. It'll probably be a few minutes till he can speak or move again."
Locke shrugged.
"It's only temporary, he'll be a little stiff for a day or two, but no more then a good work out or so." Locke added, running a finger across his chin thoughtfully.
"In any event-" He said. "I think it's time I made myself scarce before he gets back to his feet, is that alright?"
Like it mattered, if she said no he'd leave anyway.

"I kinda want to get out of here too," admitted Morgan. She gingerly worked her stiff muscles, already regretting taking some of the charge from Beevus. Knowing Morgan's luck, she'd be sore for weeks, which certainly wouldn't put her in a good mood.
"'sides, we're both, like, model students, aren't we?" Morgan nudged Locke, who she was certain would agree. Like it really mattered at this point. Unless this clearly new tutor was something amazing, she couldn't beat both Locke and Morgan. the two had far too much combat experience for being teenagers.
That and one of them was a blackbelt, the other a Tazer.
"C'mon! We're the little ones, and he's the big idiot. why punish us?"
Morgan's eyes flicked toward an exit, and she already began planning it out. Shouldn't be too hard... if her muscles moved alright. Stupid shock. That had been a dumb move, Cavan.

Veronica knew little about either of the student's reputation, but the way Morgan said 'Big Idiot" made her narrow her eyes. "I'm sorry, but I think it's best if you guys came with me to an Agent Office. You should know better than to fight with gifts, and should have called a Tutor or Agent. It's only standard procedure." Veronica crossed her arms, and waited for the two to agree with her and follow her back to the office.
That had been quite a nasty shock, though. It would interest Veronica to find out more about just how proficient Lance was with electricity.
Veronica turned to the crowd of onlookers. "Can someone take him to a healer? Not ward 2, though, there's no one there." Veronica pointed to the twitching but unconscious kid on the ground. "Tell a healer to direct him to an agents office once he gets better, I want to have a word with him"

Ugh, this was not what he wanted to do. Well, he'd let the women decide what she was going to do, it was her job after all.
"I am sorry." Locke said. "Though I may not look it I am a rather busy man, I have some things I must take care of. Though I would be more then happy to come see you at another time. You see my mother is in the last few weeks of her pregnancy, so I'd like to get home to help around the house when the child is born. It should be logged in the database if you check it."
While that was true, it would require him to be this 'Lance' fellow.
"Besides, his record should show more then a few rule violations, so I don't think it's too far fetched to understand what happened here, especially if you ask the witnesses." He said, gesturing through the crowd.

"We really do have more important things to do," insisted Morgan, shifting impatiently. They more time they wasted dealing with this idiotic woman, the more time they spent not getting out of the Academy. The Academy that had wanted to just give up Morgan and Locke to the bad guys.
"Is it really that big a deal?" demanded Morgan. She tried not to sound impatient, but knew she wasn't doing a good job. "I mean, he's the one who started it. He's the one with the record. Do we really have to get punished because this big idiot's pushing people around?"
Morgan's eyes narrowed at the unconscious goon, wishing him all kinds of different harms. Including several that Morgan herself had been put through.
"Seriously, he's the bad guy, punish him."

Veronica looked to each person. They didn't look dangerous to her. They seemed for all the world like ordinary students.
"Fine. I'll let you off, this once... but this if I find out a different story from big and unconscious over there, you guys will be in a lot of trouble." Her gaze was stern, and her eyes were narrowed to fine points. She turned to leave, allowing the other students to take care of the bully.
She wanted to check the databases for these people, add something to their records. She hated being the 'mean teacher', but things were getting so strict.
