Sure it was snowing, so what? Some things just could not wait. Leo's personal specifications for his pride and joy said that he needed to give it a full rip apart and diagnostic every 2 months. And besides, he really loved his bike anyway.
But what to do with snow on the ground? Well that had been easy enough. He'd paid some little punk pyro ten bucks to make a nice patch of scorched earth for him, and then set up a small tarp over it to stop the slowly falling snow. Not having a garage sucked, but he would make do and make sure his baby was good and in peek condition.
He had on a long sleeved leather jacket, his biker gloves as always, and his hair wrapped up in a red bandanna. Well, it was supposed to be red, like the rest of his clothes it had tell tale signs of grease on it. He was completely oblivious to the cold as he tweaked the engine, turning a nut with the socket wrench in his hand.
"Threads are a little warped." He said eye balling the nut. "Don't want that to give out on a curve." He muttered, tossing the nut into a growing bin of scrap with a sharp clang.

(ooc. Fine I guess I will take it...)
Running along the grounds she spotted something in the distance. Curious she decided to check it out. Arms pumping Eve made her way over to what soon revealed itself to be a young man working on a bike. She shook her head at his diligence, and here she thought she was insane for running out here. At least her activity got the blood going.
Her worn out sneakers crunched in the snow as Eve ran up to the edge of his cleared pieace of ground. Chest heaving she looked over the odd scene the cold winter air prickling her cheeks.
"What kind of bike is that?" She asked a bit loudly to try and get his attention. Personally she knew nothing about bikes but it seemed a good enough question to ask. It would be nice to get a break from running anyway. Eve detached the water bottle on her hip and squeezed out icy cold water into her mouth as she waited for an answer.

Leo heard someone talking to him, a girl if his ears didn't deceive him, but didn't take his eyes, or his mind off of what he was doing.
"30% Ninja, 20% Hayabusa, 50% Harley, all custom." Leo responded, patting the machine with a grin. "She's a beaut isn't she?" Leo said, torquing the new bolt in place. "As much as I'd like to turn around and see whom I'm talking to, this baby is temperamental. If she isn't getting all the attention, she's gonna make me pay for it later. Least I can do is offer you a ride once she's up and done, never been one to refuse a lady the ride of her life."
He closed up the compartment he had been working on and turned his neck to see who he addressed. And arched his eye brows at the sight before him.
"Well well, must be my lucky day."

All those percentages only proved to Eve that she really had no knowledge of motorbikes. The last one though she'd at least heard of, which lucky for her had the highest percentage. She leaned a bit to try and get a better look at the machine and shrugged. Realizing he couldn't see Eve kicked some snow.
"Um, sure? I don't know much about bikes, sorry. But it's shiny." That sounded very lame, but at least she'd told the truth. He spoke about his bike like she spoke about her weapons and it made her grin. Even though the metal contraption in from of him wasn't alive he stil lhad a respect for it in some way it seemed. Just like she respected her weapons.
She waved at him when he twisted to look at her and she gave half of a smile. Dressed in jogging pants, and a ripped up sweatshirt she didn't really look like some pretty thing. His comment made her frown slightly and her eyes narrowed a fraction.
"You can give me a ride? You sure she's up to it?" Eve nodded to the metal thing in front of him not fully trusting the vehicle.

At her comment on the bike being shinny Leo chuckled. Most women had no idea about anything bike related, especially if they weren't bikers themselves. Leo approved of her attire, he normally liked girls who didn't primp themselves, it was a good indicator that they didn't give a damn about what people thought of them, and also meant they weren't stuck up bitches, like he was oh so familiar with.
"My baby? Hah, she's always up for a ride. I keep her in tip-top shape after all, some things aren't just items, they are extensions of ourselves. I love my baby, so I treat her good, and she treats me good too." Leo grinned, looking over the machine.
"Sure it looks like all nuts, bolts and screws, but I hand picked every one, I checked every piston personally, I installed every washer and every motor band. I know this machine better then I know anything else, that's why she's my baby." He closed the compartment and patted it, to ensure it was shut. He jumped up so the bike was no longer obscured from view. It's finely polished black frame, red streaks running along the sides. Not like fire, no, they connected in a mass near the steering column to look more like strands of hair. Where they all met though, that looked like fire, it was an odd design.
"I call her The Blazing Comet, cause once she gets going, she'll burn through everything." He said with a grin, he then leaned down next to the bike and pulled out a helmet. "Tuning isn't quite done, but it could use a test spin. You got the guts for it?" He said, tossing the helmet underhand towards her.

His pride and love in his possession didn't bother her in the least like it might to some. She understood cherishing a certain object. Her weapons were also like pieces of her making her more complete. If one got dinged or dull she jumped to make it sheen again with perfection. So though they focused on completely different inanimate objects it was somewhat the same emotion, or feeling involved.
"You treat your bike like I treat my blades." Eve said as she walked closer to inspect the motorbike. It was a breathtaking machine, and the red streaks were beautifully done. Her hand reached out as if to touch it but instead hovered just over the metal.
"She's very beautiful, for a machine that is." Looking at at his offer she eyed the helmet as she thought it over. A person who would come out in the snow to make sure his 'baby' was doing alright had to be responsible. Or least responsible when it came to the bike. Her stormy grey eyes went to him then the helmet again.
"What the hell, why not." Him calling out her courage had nothing to do with her accepting. Nothing at all. Right. Eve reched for the helmet with a cocky smile suddenly excited. This was not what she had expected when she went out for a run that day. But life was full of pleasant surprises.
"So how fast exactly can she go?" Fear didn't leak in for she wasn't afraid, but she was excited and it showed. Her eyes were bright and her body tingled with the thrill of doing something that might very well be dangerous.

"A collector eh? I met a few of your type, cept instead of blades most of em collected guns. Not too common to find that stuff around here, guess everyone thinks they aren't a 'stylish' weapon." He smirked at her remark on the machines beauty.
"Yeah she is, but if looks were everything I'd just leave her in a showroom. A blade that looks pretty and gathers dust is useless, it's all about how it functions. Right?" He grinned fully when she asked him how fast it could go and agreed to the ride.
"Oh I can get her up to about 160 if I really floor it." Leo said nonchalantly. "Of course that would be stupid in this weather, so I think we'll stick at around 2/3's speed or so. Hey, the only person I'm endangerin is me, you're the one with the helmet." He said with a laugh, he then pulled out the bandanna, shaking his hair loose. "Wouldn't want you to get a face full of grease." He added with another laugh, hopping on to the bike.
"Well, come on then, let's take a quick spin around the grounds, I think I can make some good speed through this snow, and give a good trial for her."

She nodded and rolled her eyes at the gun comment. Those things were loud and not nearly as accurate as a knife to the jugular was. Up close and personal weapons were much more her style.
"I'd never let my blades gather dust." The thought appauled her and made her want to run back to her room and polish them. To get them all out and practice with them. She hadn't done that nearly as much has she'd like to. Maybe after the ride she'd go to the training room for a bit of practice.
At the speed given her grin hinted at a crazy woman. To go that fast without having to run yourself would be amazing. She didn't remember ever going that fast even in her dragon form. When he mentioned endangering himself she frowned. A fall or wreck most likely wouldn't hurt her all that much, if at all. It might possibly kill him if he was a human, or fae. Eve turned the helmet in her hands wearily. If she gave him the helmet he might ask why. Did it really matter that everyone knew she was a dragon?
"Here it's your helmet you take it. I trust in your driving skills." His hair made her smile adding to a slight attraction she had for the boy. Nothing serious but she could admit he had some charm to him. She stepped forward with the helmet and to get onto the bike.

Leo took the helmet from her, a little puzzled. Then he smiled broadly. "One who trusts in my driving skills? Well if you trust them, it would suck if I didn't trust in them either!" He said taking the helmet and throwing it into the patch of grass next to the bike. "So a couple of reckless punks out for a ride eh? Rock on!" Leo laughed. Oh this was going to be fun.
"So how long do you think you can stand it before I'll have to pull over?" Leo said with a teasing grin. "Maybe make it to 60? 75? All the way up to one hundred? It's a lot different from a car." He turned the key in the ignition and hear the engine roar as he gave it some gas. He then let it fall down into a steady rumble.
"Well, hop on and hold on tight. Wouldn't want to lose you on the first curve." He said with a grin, patting the part of the seat behind him.

When he tossed his helmet to the side like that she laughed with him. This guy was a bit wild but so was she so it worked. She difinitely could see herself becoming friends with the motobike boy. Wait, had they introduced themselves?
"How bout I learn your name before I jump on a bike with you?" Grinning she pulled out the hair tie in her hair then pulled it back into a knotted bun. It would be better to keep the crazy locks out of her face while on the vehicle. "And I can stand it for as long as you can."
Even if she started getting hints of fear she'd be too excited to pay any attention to them. Speed didn't bring shivers of fear down her spine. There were much worse things out there than going fast. Like relationships. Those were terrifying.
She looked at the seat and realized that she'd have to hold on to something, and that something was him. Eve shrugged and climbed on her nerves tingling with excitement.

"Names Leo. Well the real name is longer, but let's stick with that." He said with a grin. He hadn't met too many people who could even pronounce his first name, so he kept it simple. "Oooh, tough girl. Not too many of you around here, I see more of the 'sound and fury signifying nothing' types. Pleasant surprise." When she hopped on her grinned and faced forward, leaning down over the handlebars of the bike slightly.
"Well better hold on, cause here we go!" He declared, kicking out the kickstand and pulling back on the throttle. The engine roared once again and the rear wheels shot out a blast of dirt from the cleared patch of land, before ripping through the snow in front of them. As the bike flew through the blanket of snow, Leo grinned like a mad man. Few things more fun then giving a vehicle a full check out in adverse weather. Now that was interesting.
He pulled the bike into a steady turn, not willing to try strange moves quite yet. Make sure it handles ok on the basics. The speedometer read about 60 now, a good start. She was still holding on for now, and didn't feel to be panicking, odd to find a good rider that knew nothing about bikes.
"All right! Let's kick it up a notch!" He pulled the throttle back farther and yanked on the handlebars, pulling the bike into a momentary wheelie before setting it down with a explosion of snow as the bike continued to accelerate.

After she'd climbed on and hugged him around the waist she tucked up her legs to the bike. "Leo? Nice name. Mine's Eve."
As the sped along she laughed but she doubted he could hear her over the roar of the engine. This was better than running, better than cars, better than even Rae's limo. This was thrilling, amazing, and complete crazy. Now she desperately wanted one, even if it meant spending money. Perhaps she could get Leo to give her lessons.
"This is amazing!" She yelled right before he 'kicked it up a notch' and gripping a bit tight at the wheelie she laughed again. This probably wasn't the safest thing to do with her time but war dragon's didn't think the way other people did. They had tougher skin than what a bike wreck could probably deal out.

As the bike continued to roar, Leo figured now was time to be crazy. It was pretty cold out, his fingers told him so, but was it cold enough for this stunt?
"Hang on!" He shouted to Eve, this was about to get really interesting really quickly. He turned the vehicle sharply, focusing on the curve. A lesser mortal would have probably lost the bike and hit a tree, but Leo didn't spend those years illegally drag racing for nothing. He managed to stick the turn, even if the bike was at about a 45 degree angle for one part of it. If Eve was surprised now, she might be stunned when Leo nodded forward, and shouted back to her.
"I hope it's cold out!" They were going for the lake, which had a layer of ice upon it. How thick it was though, that they were going to find out.

"Hang on!" Eve nodded into his back and tightened her grip slightly but not much. If she held on too tightly she might hurt him. At the sharp turn she tightened a little more her eyes going wide. What the hell was this guy doing? Her eyes darted everywhere and what they found was snow, and ice. Ice. He wasn't going to do something stupid was he?
"Why do we need it cold?" She yelled back then shifted her head to look around him toward the font. The lake was in front of them and at this speed..."You're insane!"
That lake was deep, and deep lakes took a lot of deep negatives to freeze good and solid. She'd thought it'd been cold out for a while now but was it that cold? Good thing she knew how to swim, but if the water was cold enough it wouldn't matter. Her body would grow sluggish until she couldn't move. He'd risk his precious bike on a stunt like this? If it worked it was going to be a thrill, and if not...
"I don't feel like going for a swim." Eve yelled out but she sounded more angry than afraid. She wasn't afraid just not liking where this was going, not at all.

Well at least she had a decent brain between those ears. Leo followed that up with a sharp turn that had the bike sliding sideways on the ground. Were the ground not icy, the bike certainly would have flipped. But thanks to the ice, it merely slid along the ground sideways, until they hit a patch of snow. Once those spinning wheels found traction, since Leo had not let up on the gas, the bike shot off, now running parallel to the lake.
"You were probably right!" Leo shouted at her, instead finding a new place for his next trial. The snow near the school was compacted from being walked on, but a bit further out it was still fluffy and light, and it would be quite a good test of the bikes' plowing ability.
So he flies into the softer snow, as it shot out behind the bike like a motorboat.
