Minerva moved slowly, swiftly through the streets. As far as anyone else was concerned she was the angel of death. Don't piss of Minerva. She wasn't afraid to give you hypothermia with a single touch. Maybe that was why when she walked through the streets of Masonville, a first for her, a new sight for the people of the town, she glared at everyone that attempted to come near her. Minerva had come to the town for once purpose, and one only. To get Cal. Not to social.
As she walked slowly, she couldn't help but let her eyes wander, connecting eyes with a few people who would break contact moments later in fear, or because that cold, sinking feeling was settling in and they should know better then to lock eyes with her.
Why were humans so stupid? Why couldn't they let a queen do her business in peace? Didn't they ever hear it was rude to stare? Jeez, my goodness, if they didn't stop they would have an eternal winter on their hands because she would keep sending snow storms, blizzards their way. That's about the extent of her hatred for most humans, and not only that buy most races. She concerned herself with her race, she took care of them, over looked them, she did not need some vampire, or some human telling her how to do her damn job.
They didn't see her going and just barging in on their job did they? She didn't tell them how to run their society? Maybe they shouldn't tell her how to run her's.
Minerva's hair was pushed back with the light breeze that was blowing, though it wasn't like it affected her. She was born in the winter months, she lived in the winter months, they lived in her, she could have worn shorts and a tank top and not been cold, no she dressed well to catch the eye clearly, a fae dress that clung to her, the blue in it stick out as a soft blue, something you wouldn't see in the harsh winter.

Ali was dressed in an ultimately silly fashion. Three pairs of pants, two t-shirts and two turtlenecks, and sneakers inside her fur-lined boots. PLUS a huge fur-line winter coat that reached to her knees, two pairs of gloves, and a scarf. Of course, there was also her hat, which was supposed to keep her ears warm.
Even sadder than her outfit was the fact that she would be in worse condition if she didn't dress exactly this warmly. Her cold blood would make her freeze up, her muscles would stop working until she was properly warmed. She would look like a fool if she ended up just standing there or something. Scratch that: she looked like a fool now. At least she was warm, sort of.
And she couldn't even use fire-breath to warm up. Goddammit!
Her head snapped up as she smelled something distinctly not human. The cold scent burned her nose, sending an unwelcome shiver up her spine. How was it possible for anything, let alone a scent, to be colder than it already was? Ali glanced around, studying the humans.....and one not so human.
Either the woman was Fae or she was demon. She looked evil enough to freeze Ali alive, but she didn't feel like a demon. They had that weird clinging feeling of being let down or abandoned that the woman didn't have. o sure, on look at her eyes and you felt dead on your feet, frozen like a block of ice, but since when did demons have the power to freeze things?
Ali gritted her teeth and grabbed the woman's arm as she passed, attempting to pull her into the shop's doorway they were conveniently located next to.

Minerva kept gliding along, ignoring the rest of the stares, sure messing with a few humans, that had been quite entertaining, she had to remember to come back to this quaint little town and freeze of the rest of the population that she didn't get today, but after a bit, it got irritating, and she was on a mission, not a social outing. So when Minerva felt herself forcefully being pulled into an ally off the road away, no one could blame her when a string of curses were said and a dagger of ice was flung at the girl, missing her only by a few hairs. Pulling and tugging at her arm, Minerva glared at the girl.
"Who! Do! You! Think! You are!" Huffed Minerva. Getting on the Queen's bad side was certainly not a way to start with her. That was like suicide if you ever stepped into her kingdom, world. She wasn't afraid to attack.
Minerva sputtered and looked to the girl pissed off. "Better yet do you know who I am?! She screeched. It was no secret now that someone had tried abducting the Queen of Fae and towed her into an Ally, though it wasn't like anyone was making any move to help her either, and it was better that way. She could handle herself. Who in their right mind would do something so stupid? When Minerva saw it was a girl, and a young one at that, she didn't feel very compelled to fight. Just to crush her body under three tons of snow.
Even Minerva could be malicious when she wanted to be and right now, well who in their right mind would do that? Everyone knew who she was, they had heard surely about her taking over for Cal, and for the other Queen who had long since passed. What idiot would MESS WITH MINERVA?! She was the ice queen, the one who would decide when winter came and went, and for the human's good THIS human better have a good reason as to why she had to physically even lay a hand on Minerva.

"Who! Do! You! Think! You are!"
Ali flinched at the ice that nearly hit her face. She could feel her muscles beginning to bunch and tighten. Dammit. How could one person be so fucking cold that a dragon in six layers was even colder. Holy shit. Was she some kind of ice queen or something?
"Aaliyah Acelynn, which is exactly who I am," Ali snapped back quickly, annoyed.
"Better yet do you know who I am?!" The woman screeched next.
Ali sneered at her, showing fangs. "No. And even the Queen of England could not make me care." She could feel her skin hardening, and her tongue forked as she growled at the woman. Fire began building in her throat, and she blew it briefly into her hands, warming them.
"For fucking god's sake, why the hell are you so fucking cold?" Ali said finally, her cheeks beginning to flush with cold. her body heat was giving in. Damn. "That is ALL I want to know. So answer me before I freeze up. PLEASE."

Minerva pulled her arm free and glared at the girl. A mere girl who she did NOT want to associate with. Oh my the cat is showing her fangs. I'm quaking. Minerva narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms. Though at her comment, Minerva laughed a small bitter laugh. "I could make you. The queen of England is not the Queen of the Fae. I am the Queen of the fae and I certainly could make you care." Minerva glared daggers at her. Minerva studied her. Did this girl really want to tango with Minerva? Did she really think talking back to the ice queen herself would do her any good?
Minerva was about to walk away when the girl screamed at her. What was this turning into? Minerva had turned her back to her and was about to walk away, when she suddenly whirled around her eyes sending an imaginary stream of ice her way, the temperature dropping lower, and Minerva more then pissed off.
"I am the..." She stopped short of saying what she was and shrugged. "Queen of Fae. My aspect...if your tiny mind could process, would be winter. With that in mind, I am queen, I am strong, and I am not afraid to take you on. Next time you think about touching me, let alone coming near me? Don't" She said sharply her blue eyes narrowing and finally, with that Minerva left the girl, starting to walk away, and let her ponder her words.

"I could make you. The queen of England is not the Queen of the Fae. I am the Queen of the Fae and I certainly could make you care."
Ali laughed sharply, rubbing her hands together. Thankfully, the friction created warmth, if not much. Warmth was better than freezing and having her muscles get stuck. She blew a small flame into her hands for extra heat.
"Queen of the Fae my butt," Ali sneered. She was pissed because it was cold, and it was cold because of this damn creature. So naturally, she was pissed at Minerva. Especially because temperature dropped another few degrees. "Let me change my wording, Miss Queeny. Not event he emperor of the universe could make me care."
"Queen of Fae. My aspect...if your tiny mind could process, would be winter. With that in mind, I am queen, I am strong, and I am not afraid to take you on. Next time you think about touching me, let alone coming near me? Don't."
"Fine, fine," Ali continued, a bit more subdued. Wintery ice queen. Quaint. Blah. She wanted to gag. But maybe politeness was a better idea than cussing the queen out. Blah-blah. Gag me with a spoon. "Okay. Look, sorry, okay? I don't like the cold. Care to tone it down a bit? I have to get home before I literally freeze up. Please." She managed a smile, although her teeth were gritted against the cold. "And I'm sorry to be blunt, but you can't exactly expect people to be happy go lucky when its freezing cold outside!"

Minerva arched a somewhat amused brow. Oh..twas very interesting. She paused at the entry of the Ally and looked behind her. "Trust me dragon..." Minerva had picked up on the fact she was a dragon when she had blown the small flame into her hands. "Your race...best be careful around me..." She sighed and was about to keep going, until she decided to stop and let the temperature drop just another degree or two. Here Minerva was, in clothing more so suitable for summer, and the creature before her was suited up to go on a journey through the north pole. This amused Minerva...probably more then it should.
"You know talking back to me isn't the way to get on my good side..."Minerva informed. "I have the power to keep it chilled, winter forever. A white wonderland...or as I'd like to think of it..." She trailed off and a small coy smile "When hell freezes over" She informed and shrugged. 'It's your choice..." Though as the girl took a new approach, smiling and even saying please. Oh how naive.
At her question Minerva started to slowly leave. "No" She called over her shoulder. "You'll suck it up, and I'm sure you'll live" She informed "And if I were you, and the rest of the people, I wouldn't be snapping back at me...the one who has the power to change the seasons and keep winter here longer then it should be...I'd watch it."Minerva mused and with that started turning the corner and walking back out on the sidewalk towards where Cal was said to have been.

"And if I were you, and the rest of the people, I wouldn't be snapping back at me...the one who has the power to change the seasons and keep winter here longer then it should be...I'd watch it."
And who was she to bitch about something like that? Except for the cold, Ali could melt everything. If she had wood, she could make a fire. She could stay warm and survive. But the faeries wouldn't. And neither would the humans. So if she did end up bringing a perpetual winter onto the earth, she better get ready for a big loss of power. Besides, why did she think being a queen mattered to Ali? She would kidnap the emperor of the earth's own kid if he was gifted and didn't want to be parted from mummy and daddy.
She wasn't afraid of this lady, just of the cold that the damn fay could bring.
But she forced herself to calm down, letting her anger flow with the fire through her nose into her waiting hands. Calm. She thought. Calm and warm and relaxed. She wouldn't let the mighty ice queen get ehr riled up. She would be fine. But ice and fire didn't mix well, and never would. One always destroyed the other. no matter what you said or did or thought.
They just didn't mix. Well, at least.
