Oh, oh so she was teasing him, yeah that made sense, it was apparently what EVERYONE did to him. He sighed heavily, was he ever going to outgrow the 'cute kid' phase and be done with all the teasing?
Probably not with those ears. She clapped him on the back of the head, chastising him for not confronting her. Locke almost growled at Rae now, she's said something he really didn't want to think on.
"Ye ought ta fight a wee bit more fir ye lass."
"Ye ought ta fight a wee bit more fir ye lass.
Fight for her? Fight to claim her, as if she was a possession? A..trophy? "I don't...fight for her." Locke said, remaining calm. "Because she's not a possession, if she wants something else, it's her right. I don't have the right to say she can't." He glared away at that, and then Rae made the sex joke. Locke's face went red again as Rae just sent several unwelcome (Or so he would say to anyone who asked) images into his mind's eye.
"Oh shut up!" Locke shouted. "She's not like that and if you even met her you'd know tha-wait a minute..." He stopped for a second. "How did you know I knew her?" He asked tilting his head. How HAD she known? He hadn't thought about it yet, and Kiri didn't seem the type to give out lots of information to strangers...
Then again, she was very naive. And Locke didn't think Rae was lying when she said she'd seen her undergarments.

"O' course she tain't a bloody, f**kin' possession," Rae snorted, "tha' disnae mean ye disnae fight fir her. Less ta own her, an' more ta be wit' her. Look, m'lass."
Rae had to suppress a wince at saying those words, "she growls at lasses wha' even looks at me. An' I like it. Now, tain't sayin' tis goin' ta be th' same fir Kiri, but ye still shouldnae give somein' ye love oop so easy. Ye tain't ne'er sure when it's goin' ta leave ye. Take it from me."
Personal experience leaked in there, making the lycan sound far older than her twenty-one years.
"See, tha's wha' I'm gabbin' aboot," agreed Rae, nodding. "She tain't like tha' in th' least. Ye an' I both ken it, 'cept ye th' one wha' shoutin' at me. Now, tha's more like it."
Rae grinned now, enjoying how she was shaping Locke. "An' I ken who ye were 'cause ye lass showed me a picture she drew o' ye. Showed me her book, actually, I ken I said as much."
Rae shrugged, "Tain't seen many cat eared lads around, aye? 'sides, she an' I gabbed aboot ye fir a while. Drainin', really."
Honestly, Rae got sick of hearing about other people's relationship. she barely talked about her own, besides bragging about how far she'd gotten. Then again, there were times when she desperately wanted to discuss her Eve issues with someone, but Eryk had vanished and Kennedy had enough on his plate.
She certainly wasn't going to spill her guts to a kid.

"Fight for her? Like, defend her?" And there was that silly knight in shining armor thing again. Did girls ever grow past those child hood fantasies? It would seem not. When Rae mentioned that she had seen him in her sketch books, Locke blushed a bit. Kiri had mentioned that she'd drawn pictures of him, and he did stand out in a crowd. He wanted to take the conversation off Kiri, on to something that wouldn't make him awkward and nervous. He was so tired of looking like that.
"So...um...." He said, trying to find a conversation topic. He then had something, something he'd read a long time ago. "Kennedy always said you got into trouble a lot, and recently it said that your club got totally wrecked in a bar fight. Was that something big and important, cause it sounded like too much to be just a bar fight." Locke himself had a damn good idea what had happened, but he was not going to admit to being the one who sent a War Dragon to wreck her bar.
Albeit unintentional.

"Kennedy said all tha', did he?" asked Rae, raising an eyebrow. Since when had her best friend been blabbing so much to someone she'd never met before. She'd have to talk to Kennedy, straighten him out some. The bar fight had to be kept under wraps, because people didn't need to know that she'd gone wolf and fought a dragon in her bar. Especially now that she happened to be dating said dragon.
"Twas a wee bit o' a scuffle," agreed Rae, nodding. "Might o' broke some furniture or someit. Ye ken? Basic bar fight, tain't nothin' ta get worked oop o'er."
Of course lying came easy to Rae, she was a rockstar, after all. If she wasn't lying, she probably wasn't talking. Or was talking to her friends or Eve. Details.
"Ye interested or someit?" asked Rae. "Want tae learn tae brawl wit' th' brawny lasses, mebbe?"
Yes, she knew just how to make people uncomfortable, and was in just the mindset to do it.

"Learn to fight?" Locke echoed. "Psh, hardly. No I was just curious if it was one of those 'great and important fights' you seem to always get caught up in. Like the Fae Rebellion, or the Academy being invaded, you know, things of that nature. If it was just a bar fight then it holds no interest to me at all." He said waving his hand dismissively. "Though I feel bad for your opponent, if they are alive. With your reputation it'd be a miracle if she came out uninjured."
So that was it eh? This was the girl Kennedy spoke so highly of? There didn't even seem to be anything here past a reckless brawler, how typical.
Utter disappointment.

"Ye dinnae get in th' big an' important ones e'ery day, lad," Rae pointed out, smirking, "'sides, wha' may be a wee scuffle tae ye may be important tae me."
Indeed, it was. Seeing as she'd met her current girlfriend thanks to the fight in question. Again, she didn't want to go telling someone she'd just met that. But something told her that Locke was far from impressed. Rae didn't care that much, as he was a male, so why bother acting for him?
"An' th' lass walked away jus' fine," she added, nodding, "fact o' th' matter, I mighta lost m'self. Ye ne'er ken when ye goin' ta meet someone wha' brawls better than ye."
She shrugged. "Twasnae this time though."
Rae scanned Locke. He certainly was a scrawny little nerd. Maybe good for Kiri, who knows? Definitely not someone to intimidate the wee lass, that's for sure.
"Anythin' else?"

As little as he was impressed with Rae, he wasn't going to get a lot of chances to talk to the Lycan Pack Alpha, and this was not going to be a chance he would forgo, maybe he could find out about their revenge habits.
"You almost lost in a bar fight?" He asked skeptically, arching an eye brow. He had guessed there would have been a fight, which was one of the reasons he sent Eve to the Lycan Pack Alpha, if anything this girl could handle herself. But if Eve almost overpowered Rae, that was a feat in and of itself.
"Wow.." He said, thoroughly impressed now. "I didn't think Ev-" Before he could say any more he clapped his hand over his mouth. Had he really just let that slip? Well let's hope she never got her attackers name. Suddenly this women was far more intimidating then he bargained for.
"Um, gottago." He blurted out, making to turn around from the lycan.

"It happens," replied Rae, shrugging. She took to watching the little catboy now. He was entirely too interested in the fight, and Rae was beginning to wonder why. Sure, he looked like a cute little nerdling, but that meant he should be disgusted at the idea of violence. Not interested.
Wait, was he just about to--? "Oh nae ye dinnae!"
Rae reached forward, snagging Locke's shirt. Unless the small student did something about it, he'd find himself dragged a few paces backward, and an entirely too interested lycan alpha staring him down.
"Ye ken o' Eve?" she asked, raising her brows. "In fact, how would ye ken tha' she be th' lass wha' be fightin' me in m'bar, hmm? Wouldnae suppose ye had someit ta do wit' it...?"
She didn't let him go, instead tightening her grip. Her face showed no aggression though: right now Rae was more curious than angry. After all, Rae had wound up dating the bar wrecker.

Locke squirmed as Rae grabbed him by his shirt.
"Ugh. Leggo, I didn't mean for her to trash your bar! I promise!" And then he was turned around to look at the very intimidating Lycan. Who then asked how he knew her.
"Umm...well...she...sort of...found me." He started, might as well tell the truth, he might still walk out alive. "She told me...that uh she wanted...to learn how to be calm...to be collected...so uh..." He averted eye contact. "Using what I knew about you from your reputation and from Kennedy, I told her to go to your bar and resist losing her temper....I guess she failed that..." He glanced at the rockstar sheepishly.
"Sorry? I honestly thought she wouldn't be much of a challenge for you, that's why I sent her there. So if she did start a fight nobody would get hurt....I guess I underestimated her...I'm sorry ok?!" He practically pleaded with the Lycan.
She was probably going to take the bar cost out of a pound of flesh.
Or maybe a cat eared hood.
He gulped hard.

Locke had sent Eve to Rae's club?
Locke had sent Eve to Rae's club?
The uber-famous, lycan, lesbian rockstar had been set up by a kid whose voice hadn't deepened yet?
Rae started chuckling, the initial sound coming out almost creepy. It slowly built into a near roar. Through it all, she still clutched Locke tightly, her hand clenching around him. Finally, she pulled him into a hug, planting a quick peck on his cheek. then, she dropped him.
"Ye f**kin' nut!" she exclaimed, clapping him on the back, or shoulder (if he fell from the drop). "This is jus'..."
She shook her head, chuckling.
"Aye, I coulda took th' lass easy enough. But I wanted ta flirt wit' her. Fought till th' cops showed oop, an' I tricked Eve inta givin' in."
Now she looked down at Locke and smiled broadly. "We datin' now, lad. Eve's m' lass, more or less. 'cept she wouldnae admit it if'n ye asked, probly jus' get all red an' fidgety. So, I guess tha' makes ye th' matchmaker, eh?"
Funny. Now Rae remembered the conversation she'd had with Kiri. Looked like Locke and Rae had been touching the other's love life for quite a while now. It was just too funny.

She was laughing? Not a happy laugh, an evil laugh. And then her hands started to clench around him, and though she was not applying any real force, his mind said he was being slowly crushed by the Lycan.
And then the arms came around to choke the life out of him. He shut his eyes in terror, not even letting a scream escape his lips, and then he felt a somewhat familiar feeling. The feeling of lips on his cheek, what was this?
He hit his feet, which refused to support his weight, meaning he sprawled to the ground. He was on his back staring up at the Lycan. And then she explained.
"Eve and you...WHAT?!" He said, his head spinning. Wait, what had happened?
"Matchmaker...but I didn't even...I mean I just didn't want her to....wahhh?"
Locke was still plenty frazzled from thinking he was about to be killed, so he sat looking up at Rae trying to restart his brain.

"How much do ye need explained, lad?" Rae cocked an eyebrow. She crouched then, leveling her eyes with Locke's. Her grin couldn't get any wider.
"I tricked Eve inta goin' fir drinks wit' me, an' fell fir th' lass. She an' I are like ye an' Kiri. Only hopefully wit' more sex," Rae raised a finger, "ye'd better nae sex th' wee lass jus' yet. Ye a wee bit too young fir it..."
Then again, they were probably about the same age Rae was when she'd lost hers... Kiri just acted younger. But that was a totally different scenario.
"Ye ken, wha', f**k it, I disnae care if'n ye boffin' th' wee faerie," Rae waved a hand, "ye'd probly have better luck than me. She squees like a squeak toy when ye name comes oop."
Sighing, Rae shook her head and rose to her feet, extending a hand for Locke. "Now, get oop, ye look like I'm goin' ta eat ye. Tain't goin' ta happen. Twould make Kiri cry, an' then all sorts o' folks be comin' fir me. 'sides, ye ta scrawny ta eat."
She smiled again, all teeth.

Locke sat there and was lectured on the ways of life, and a very brief explanation of the Eve problem. And then the comparison, and Locke turned red to the tips of his fuzzy ears. Sexing the lady?! W-What?! He was completely flabbergasted at how she was talking. Oh and then she changed her mind and decided it was ok for them to do such lewd things.
"I-I-I W-Would n-n-never do s-s-something like that!" Locke struggled to get out. "What kind of person do you take me for?!" He shot back at her. If she offended him or just embarrassed him was hard to tell.
Locke took the hand offered him and got to his feet, still red to the tips. That was most likely because his mind was filled with those less-then-honorable images, spurred on by Rae's speaking and his own hormones.
Damn being thirteen.
"S-she really gets like that when I'm n-not around?" He asked, a little more then a squeak.
Ok, so he was a mouse, he'd never denied that.

"Sure ye would," Rae snorted, then smirked, "she's ye lass, isnae she? Tha's wha' ye do wit' a lass. Though it's hard ta picture th' two o' ye goin' at it. An' I really dinnae want ta ken o' tha' righ' now. Jus' kennin' o' guys like tha' makes me ill."
She winced then, pressing her palm to her stomach. It really did, and she needed something to distract her from it. Teasing Locke further ought to work. Besides, he was turning all red, which was nearly adorable.
"Oh, ye kennin' o' it righ' now. Tha' wee blonde lass wi'toot an' clothes," Rae sighed, "tis a beautiful thin' to be kenni' o'. Gotta love 'em when they're like tha'...."
Wait, wasn't Eve technically innocent and all too? Sure, she was a lot rougher then Kiri, but from what Rae gathered, about as inexperienced. Huh, Rae hadn't even thought about it that way. Hard to picture any connection between the battle-ready dragoness and the skippy Faerie girl.
Squeak? Rae turned from her thoughts, looking at Locke, raising her brows, "Well, ye clearly ken o' her like tha'. Did ye nae ken it went both ways. These thin's usually do."

And then she explained the intricacies of what a man and women did together. Locke was certain his head would soon burst into flames from all the blood rushing to it. That...that was not something he needed to think about! It wasn't something that was immediately relevant.
Thinking about her like that? No no, that was not the right thing to do at all, that is something a idiot perverted teenager would do.
And still a voice echoed in the fantasies of his mind.
[blue]"Oh Loooocke."[/blue] And he was lost in that daydream for a moment before he pulled himself away from the fantasy of his own creation.
"AhhhhShutupShutupShutup!" He exclaimed ducking his head down and covering his ears with his hands. "I can't do that, I can't act like you, she's fragile...and innocent...I couldn't do that..."
