I've never been on a site with a place like that, and a lot of people I roleplay with have been roleplaying one character for years, so they wouldn't be too happy about them dying xD I've been roleplaying Neilen Darkshire, for example, in one form or another since I first started roleplaying. He was my first character

So yeah, I don't know if it's strictly prohibited here, but it's very Very VERY frowned upon. Ugh I sound kinda stuck up and snooty there XP It's not at all prohibited. You just need permission from the roleplayer and not many people are keen to give it

Same! Especially these characters that have been around for years with such interesting and involved relationships... Also I've had bad experiances with PC killing. My first time roleplaying ever I was killed for little reason other than they could after like a month. So yeah, I don't know if it's strictly prohibited here, but it's very Very VERY frowned upon. Ugh I sound kinda stuck up and snooty there XP Not at all. There are rules against such a thing, because people put a lot of time and love into their characters. I'm not some sadist who gets off on making people lose things dear to them.
This was just the nature of the site. Vicious. And such things really were the plot. Of course, many would just avoid such areas, or try to godmod their way out. >:\
Other than those kinds of areas, were permission isn't required, I think I've only killed two PC's. With permission/acknowledgment of defeat, of course.
But after a lot of reading, I've come to the decision that I don't want to any of that here. I have other plans. :]

I've been playing Alice Crysis for wayyyyy too long. Comfort zone.
And I wouldn't recommend playing on a site like I mentioned. While you learn very quickly how to handle yourself in a fight thread, the atmosphere of such a site is terrible.
I mean, when the whole site is one giant fight, there's always going to be people upset, frustrated, and left with nothing. Constant fights in the C-box. Attacks on the site. All because people weren't mature enough to handle what they chose to join.
Sigh....

I can see that. x] But you know, catching a fleeing target is often the job of a hunter... <.<;; -cough cough-
...
I'm not being serious. xD
But I am starting another thread anyways. I have nothing to do but my homework, and well, who actually does that stuff? :\

If it isn't snagged by the time I'm back maybe I'll take it Back to the fight thing, Delacoix could phase just like him and try to follow him around, but it's hard to hit something that you can't see either way, not to mention reflexive phasing vs. projectiles and melee.

Oh god, yes. With both of us able to phase, it would make for some epic moments, if nothing else.
I can only think of one way to defeat that really, as the ability to phase during that "OHSHI-" moment when something dangerous is close makes capture a bit difficult.
As for following you, Delacoix is a Vampire. Not some sight-defendant human. xD

Alright, I'll go give them a read the second I wrap this post up. Might be a bit. I get really into it and zone out for large periods of time. xD

[manwhore]Hey now, there's plenty of Delacoix to go around.[/manwhore] I wonder how many of our single ladies are already eyeing him... I've never been on a site with a place like that, and a lot of people I roleplay with have been roleplaying one character for years, so they wouldn't be too happy about them dying xD I've been roleplaying Neilen Darkshire, for example, in one form or another since I first started roleplaying. He was my first character :) I'm pretty sure no one is going to want their PCs killed, and even if they did, it'd totally have to be epic and not like, "BAM YOU'RE DEAD!" In fact, you might want to ask about killing off NPCs rped by PCs, in the case of family members. Many of these characters have been with us for years. Almost-kills might be acceptable, though, in the case of demons (extremely hard to kill) and anyone who's sneaky enough to pull off a faked death. Oh, there's an idea. Too bad it wouldn't make sense for any of my characters right now. I guess we'll have to feed you NPCs to keep Mr. DeReve entertained. We're somewhat unlikely to have a Big Bad PC anytime soon; we're trying to steer away from cliches, and ooohhhh mmmyyyy gossshhh. Oh my plot idea. I'll give him someone to play with soon enough. ;D

See, when you said "Someone to play with", I really think I took it the wrong way. x]
Don't worry. I'm not killing anyone. Killing happened on sites where it was the norm, and when the plot required it.
I just did it a lot. xD
It really loses its luster anyways. It's more fun to torture/maim/abuse/corner people.
