If it's as you say, then it's as you say. All there is too it. Not like we have a defined system for every single gift, which is why we have this thread.

Thoughts. It's the same with Fae Aspects or any other similar power.
EDIT: Exceptions to this rule would be with things that have the ability to communicate back, such as Animals with Kiri's power. But for machines, yes it is telepathically.

ok, so Cellular Acceleration.
Can the Gifted pretty much make more of anything it touches ? Like regrow broken chair legs, seal the back of a cellphone, cover up dry wall etc. ?
*oh fudgesticks. I just saw Cellular Duplication beneath it. Ok, so which one is it ?

I just saw Cellular Duplication beneath it. Ok, so which one is it ? Cellular Duplication >Stage I - person can duplicate the cells of an inanimate object if touching said object. This can be used to repair inanimate objects, and with enough focus can double the object. can also be done to biological targets, though requires much more concentration and energy. Requires concentration and energy. My understanding would be that Acceleration is localized time control. A wound will heal NORMALLY, it just speeds up the process. A wall will disintegrate over a long period of time, it just makes it happen quicker. With Duplication you are copying what exists and using it to repair or build on to something. It CAN be done to living things, but it is tough and requires a lot of energy.

The post count is going down. Are threads being deleted, or is this a countdown to something I'm not aware of?

Post count should NOT be going down. What are you referring to specifically?

Maybe it's a mistake, but the Total Posts at the bottom of the main page seems to be dropping. I tend to look at it every time I refresh, and I could have sworn it was at 11, 861 a while ago, and now it's somewhere in the high 11, 700s. I like to subtract the totals from each other every time I visit so I know exactly how many posts to search when I get back.

Okay, meant to ask this ages ago. XD
Are we still doing that only pick powers that make sense for the character thing? If so, how do we know what makes sense for another person's character? :/

It's not a direct relation. For example, look at me (There was a reason I answered the question in this account.). Locke's two gifts (Memory and Energy) don't seem to have any real relation. They do in my mind, that I have planned for. It basically means don't pick powers that make no sense for your character to develop. Chances are it won't be much an issue, but if you are thinking about what makes sense, then there shouldn't be an issue. Those who think about it don't need the rule, they are already doing right.
In short: Don't worry about it, pick the gifts you want for your character. As long as it's not from complete left field it shouldn't be a problem.

The gifts don't have to be related; we already said they could fit personality, as well. But how does one know if a gift is from complete left field? Would one ever tell a rper they need to pick a different power? I suppose this is more of a suggestion than anything, I'm not quite sure where to put it. XD But I don't think we should be telling people what to do with their characters. If it's not hurting anyone, what's the problem?
