Stars and Arrows:
I has question concerning the star and arrow bullets under peoples' names. I assumed the stars were for girls, and the arrows for boys, as aforementioned by Matt.
Is it just lolz that Scythe, residant manly man, has stars in his name? I can tots understand why Preston has stars but uh... Scythe?
Haha, just awondering.

yes, it was meant as a joke. War dragons also aren't pink, and Scythe is an agent, not arts and crafts teacher. I did it because it amused me, and I wanted to see how long it would take before someone had to mention it.
I'm still not 100% on the symbols, but that's all I know how to make *shrugs*

Lol just google 'html entities' and find the most extensive list. Quite the large array of selections. Some even look like stick figures getting it on .

PS, I feel ignored. Are you just formulating an answer to my question still or did you not see it? (bottom of page before this)

PS, I feel ignored. Are you just formulating an answer to my question still or did you not see it? (bottom of page before this) probably just ignoring you. I'm debating the idea. It would be interesting, but would also be somewhat limiting. Then again, that's about how I like to run things. Basically, I'm thinking on it, and would need more input before I changed something like that.

This is Chris too lazy to sign Nicki out:
Sounds good to me. Think away!

Pros[/u] - Mythology is cool.
- Prevents unbalance (a lot of characters with a specific power).
- Encourages creativity through limitation.
Cons[/u] - May be too restrictive when we get more members.
- Potentially limiting to flow of natural inspiration. This happens when someone's sitting there going, "Oh wow! I have the best idea!" but they can't make the character happen because the trait they need (yes, need) is unavailable.
- Just because there's a lot of characters with one ability doesn't necessarily mean there's an excess of them in the world. Our roleplay characters are only part of a bigger picture, yes?
Meg!Suggestion:[/u] Have two to a trait (male/female), and if it's too limiting, lift the restriction, or alter it to allow more demons with that trait. That way, it slightly mirrors mythological gods (Male Goddess of Water, Female Goddess of Water, for example), but is less restrictive than limiting it to one per trait.[/color]

Barrage of questions, go!: - If a shapeshifter shifts into someone who is, say, very athletic, would they have more strength/stamina while in that form?
- Can shapeshifters claim celebs/characters for aliases, or is it one official claim per character, and if someone looks like your alias, tough cookies?
- Is our world chill about letting characters tote weapons around? It just occurred to me that Karmine's class is going to be nearly-useless if students have no way of getting to weapons. We can't exactly magically summon or conceal them anymore...
- Not really a question, but I saw you made a Djinn color but didn't update the nifty key thing. I could find the part you should add and PM you it if you want, but it's prolly not too complicated to figure. :P

- What's up with "Spatial Manipulation, self?" I keep seeing that sort of thing everywhere. If I read right, stage 2 should teleport people and objects. Actually, can't you teleport people if you're touching in stage 1? So what's the purpose of saying "self?"

<announcer voice> Hey there viewers, this is Chuck Upp and it's time for 'Chris' Rantings That Aren't Really Answers At All'! On tonight's program, we have Shapeshifters, weapons, teleportation, and more! So without further adieu, here's your host, Chris! *applause* Thanks Chuck. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sure you've heard the recent concerns the public has about how exactly things are run around here. They've got questions, and guess who's got the answers? *audience choruses, "Who does Chris?"* Not me. *laughter* But what I do have is my own take on these issues, and that's more entertaining that what some windbag in the government has to say any day. *laugher* Now, our first guest tonight is Shapeshifters. An interesting guest if I ever saw one, we're going to talk about some issues like reserving celebrity reps and what exactly happens when they change. So, everyone give a hand for our first guest! *applause, Transformers theme plays* *double of Chris walks out* *laughter* Hey Chris, good to be here. Hey Shapeshifters, lookin' good! *laughter* Haha, well, I was inspired by a great-looking man. *laughter* And who would that be? *Shapeshifter changes shape to...* George Clooney. *laughter, whistling from the ladies* Haha, yes. But listen folks, this brings up a serious point. Just because our guest looks like George Clooney, does this mean he actually is? Would he have, say, the same strength and stamina as he would? *incoherent mix of answers* Well, I don't know what the government will tell you, but I say yes! I mean, look at these muscles! *squeezes Shapeshifter-Clooney's massive pipes* *laughter, Shifty-Cloon flexes* On to another issue, though; celebrity reps. Do you think Shapeshifters should be able to claim the rights to Clooney's appearance? Does he own Georgey? *resounding no* That's what I think, too. Just because Shapeshifters can look like anyone, doesn't mean they should be able to keep the rights to everyone's looks. They'd eventually have all our rights, and you wouldn't be able to see my pretty face any more! *groans, laughter* Anyway, now it's time for our next guest, Weapons. *'Colt 45' plays, applause* *no one shows up* *applause slows, stops* Well, that's odd, where is--- *Weapons walks out in an orange jumpsuit, handcuffed and surrounded by police* Weapons? What happened? I showed myself in the non-Gifted areas, and the police nabbed me. I just get to come say hi and I gots to go. Oh, that's a shame. Everyone say bye to weapons! *chorus of 'bye's, waving* *Weapons exits* Well folks, I guess that just goes to show you, it's probably not a good idea to bring Weapons with you in public, but who knows what the government has to say about it. All I know is that I'm playing it safe, and keeping my weapons--- *pulls out a ridiculously large, blowup revolver* ---at home. *laughter* Well, our next guest was supposed to be Spatial Manipulation, self, but I'm told she was lost on the way here. Something about Spatial Manipulation, others, not being a good way to get herself around. I guess SOMEBODY isn't stage two yet. *laughter* Oh, I've just received some more bad news, Djinn just canceled. *disappointed noises* But that's alright, we're about out of time anyway. We'll let the government handle that one. *Chris rolls his eyes* *laughter* And that's the show for tonight, folks! Good having you here! Bye bye! *theme music plays, Chris exits* See you next week on, 'Chris' Rantings That Aren't Really Answers At All'! Tonights program would not have been possible were it not for Chris' Extreme Boredom, and generous donations from Chris' time.

... you people and your questions.... -possibly, depending on the level of the shapeshifter. Probably would to some degree, no matter what. -uh, they shapeshift, which means they don't actually take over a certain persona. It would be antithetical to actually let a shapeshifter claim alternative personas. -no, it's pretty much the same world. The class will be useful though, because as a Gifted or supernatural being, you're going to be dealing with some crazy s**t. And the Academy's cool with people carrying weapons, mostly because whoever it is that runs the Academy is nuts. -I plan on it, I've got a lot on my plate right now, what with grad school and finals and all that jazz. next week I'm off, so expect a lot of fun changes. Like adding Nicki to our little staff picture thing, and making the affiliates thing prettier....

Solike...weapons on school grounds, yes, weapons off school grounds, no? That's a different way of putting it.
I look forward to seeing more behind-the-scenes Academy shady-ness :D

Sooo, do the kids have their own rooms, just divided into different boy/girl sections, or is it several boys/girls to a room?

250 posts - Gift "evolves" to Stage 2, or second Gift develops +750 1,000 posts-Second Gift develops, or Gift "evolves" to Stage 2 +500 (WTF?) 1,500 posts - Second Gift "evolves" to Stage 2 +1000 2,500 posts- Original Gift reaches final form. +2,500 5,000 posts - Second Gift reaches Stage 3 or a third GIft develops
Look at the first two, notice a problem there?
If I might suggest.
250 500 1000 1750 3500
Seems a bit better of a bell curve.
