Nicki's version of the move...
Nia: Sooo seeing as how some kids got kidnapped, that means we've been discovered. Shoot, looks like we're going to have to move the Academy. -pushes big shiny red button-
POOF
<awesome magic>
Nia: This will work.
</awesome magic>
Students: Cool, w/e.
'Bums': Wtf not cool man! -somehow magically move around the vicinity of the school- -ditto with businesses-
Insurgents: -already in Illinois, so it doesn't matter-
So uh, basically my suggestion would be... pretend it was there all along?

yeah, the read-around refers to the character label, and not a whole lot else. I haven't gotten a "this is what we did" post up yet, because i was tired by the time we finished. that's my fault, and i'll work to get something up to explain what all happened. and yes, everything/everyone that wasn't in the Academy got left behind. several people were already in other areas anyway. Nothing physically moved except TI's workshop and the Academy. technically there was, I think two threads in the Bistro? So we might just as well pretend that it was in Hoboken all along. Thank you, that's all I was looking for.

Is long.

How would you explain the loss of power that would come about if someone who'd reached a Reward Level had their account deleted due to inactivity and then reactivated it with half the posts like you said?

Magical Fairy Dust.
In all seriousness, we'd have to figure out some logical explanation. It's our hope that this wouldn't happen to anyone, but we do understand there are circumstances beyond our control. In the end, the controller and the staff would probably work together to come up with something that would work for an explanation....
and I think I'm repeating myself, so I'm stopping there.

so where do i put my application thing if im with the corporation? i dont think that's really neutral but its definitely not outsider cuz they were fighting the corporation first off, we're not currently accepting people who are in the corporation, unless you directly ask for admin permission. there is one PC who fits this qualification. Second, if you did work for the corporation, they would know you were special. This is a genetic research facility, they take blood samples of everyone who walks through their door. There are very few species available that could trick a blood test, and only a powerful demon could manage it. Ergo, you'll have to edit your idea some to actually work within the confines of the RP.

They've already got one person working for them who's marked as Gifted, so a half-demon wouldn't really be a stretch. also, watch the cursing in GB, it's unnecessary.

also, watch the cursing in GB, it's unnecessary. I'm pretty sure we've covered that it's okay IRP, but this we haven't really gone over. I didn't know it was a problem either? I mean, it's not like he's the first person to cuss. Just wondering where the boundaries are is all. Not that I usually swear* anyway

I don't care if it's every once in a while, hence "watch the cursing" as opposed to "stop cursing." We're grownups here, I shouldn't have to watch you guys like I do my students at school. It's when it starts to be every single post that it starts to concern me.
