You mean a NPC? Well, I'd imagine the regular authorities would be after you. And the Academy too, if they knew a Gifted was involved. The magician kills people all the time Mostly thugs and thieves, though, so I don't think anyone cares muchly. I roleplay him as being constantly on the run from the cops, though I think it really depends on how badly Matt feels like harassing you for it lol. You could roleplay getting away scot-free, or Matt might get bored and come after you Heck, do it enough, and Travis Sivart, resident PI, might come after you Hope that helps ^^

Sweet, I'll go on a rampage then. Haha, right, about the Magician, I read some of your posts here on the forum and yeah, he's a killer all right. Strange fellow
I like him.
Imagine roleplaying everyday that you are in prison. Would be boring.

Chris more or less nailed it. I'm also willing to RP authority figures if you want your character to be hunted.
There are characters on the board right now that are going to be hunted by the Academy. But more on that after the revamp...

So, this new setup is generally workable for most people, but what about characters who were set in Missouri with little means to move elsewhere? Are they like, perma-stuck there and only able to rp with each other?

Because I'm guessing that weren't just uprooted and shipped to the west coast like the school, right?

And, eh, how are the agents of the school going to pick me up? Perhaps they aren't going to pick me up at all?

So, this new setup is generally workable for most people, but what about characters who were set in Missouri with little means to move elsewhere? Are they like, perma-stuck there and only able to rp with each other? I transferred most of the permanent businesses along with the move. I just figured that TI's hideout would more or less go with the flow, and there wasn't a whole lot of action in the Bistro, so it could probably be moved with little to do. And, honestly, if you were stuck in Missouri, you're going to have to RP in the "world that doesn't know" board until you move to the Academy. If you're a neutral, there's nothing stopping you from figuring out the Academy moved and going along with it. An Outsider should be moving around anyway, so they don't get caught. I recommend hiding in a big city somewhere. Again, that's what the catch-all "The world that does(n't) know" boards are for. So, this new setup is generally workable for most people, but what about characters who were set in Missouri with little means to move elsewhere? Because I'm guessing that weren't just uprooted and shipped to the west coast like the school, right? you say businesses, but there were only two businesses in Masonville: The Cave and The Bistro Bellamortè. The Cave is going to have to just set there, and we'll come up with a new watering hole in Hoboken. The Bistro moved. So other then that, I'm not sure what you're referring to. The characters should have already moved from Britain to US during the last Academy move... And, eh, how are the agents of the school going to pick me up? Perhaps they aren't going to pick me up at all? the Agents are everywhere, BA. They'd pick you up if you were on the moon. If you want me to send some your way, prod me. Casey's probably busy, but Fey's still around. And there's always NPCs.

The Why Not Diner was stationed in Missouri. I'm confused now. What's the Why Not Diner? Charlotte's diner. It's where Tristan works. It's where Eve bumped into Tristan while she was with her nephew, and where Tristan shoveled snow from the roof onto Skye. It was going to grow into a nice business in Missouri.

Matt, I wasn't going to ask you for any kind of sub-board or anything like that until I get all the details (pictures, all that stuff) perfected because I'm weird like that. It comes from being a journalist - you don't send something to be edited/published unless it's print-ready. I can't help it.

well, a little heads up would've been nice.
*sighs*
can this be transferred to Hoboken with little problem? Or what? Because otherwise you're kinda stuck in the "World that Doesn't know" board.

Yeah, I guess so. I'm just really confused on the whole moving thing in general. Obviously the Academy physically moved, right? Well were students just like, 'Oh fuck, this is new!' Basically everything/everyone that wasn't in the Academy or Belamorte's/TI's shop was left behind? Did anything else physically move?
Maybe some kind of detailed explanation posted somewhere? Because I know I'm not the only one confused about this.
And yes, I read around the site trying to figure stuff out, contrary to what you said in the RP thread, and it's not helping.

yeah, the read-around refers to the character label, and not a whole lot else. I haven't gotten a "this is what we did" post up yet, because i was tired by the time we finished. that's my fault, and i'll work to get something up to explain what all happened.
and yes, everything/everyone that wasn't in the Academy got left behind. several people were already in other areas anyway. Nothing physically moved except TI's workshop and the Academy. technically there was, I think two threads in the Bistro? So we might just as well pretend that it was in Hoboken all along.
