His eyes had gone to the peon with a look that just declared death to all who bothered him. He was enjoying a nice lunch and a show, and here came peon man to interrupt his nice day. Just as he was about to tell him off the rampaging dragon struck peon man and sent him flying. Soaring, shooting, zooming. His applause and laughter wouldn't be heard over the chaos but he did it anyway.
But he couldn't let the other dragon kill the peon. That deck of cards was his to deal. So standing he brushed the fried chicken crumbs off of his hands and started for the dragons. His mind was split half and half. Should he stay in human form to fight? Or show these bipedal weaklings who he really was? Choices, choices. Decision, election, option. Smiling he decided to go half and half. Claws out, eyes sharp and reptilian he walked over to the bumbling, drunken pea brained, giant reptile.

"They're a bit bigger than me," murmured Casey. He continued to grumble as he worked his way out of the way. Fortunately, Fey had extended a hand toward him. Even more luckily, Casey happened to be blessed with a regeneration Gift. Otherwise he'd be a sack of powder and blood. Still, it hurt to move, and he could hear his bones resetting themselves.
"We're supposed to detain them," Casey further explained, once he'd wobbled to his feet. It was then that he noticed Scythe heading for the dragon, looking decidedly murderous. "DETAIN THEM!"
He waved his hands, hoping that Scythe noticed. Oh well, at least he hadn't transformed yet. The bigger dragon should last for a bit longer.
"Uh, orders are to detain the dragon, try and play nice, because," Casey pointed at the dragon, who had just stepped into mud, "that might be dragon nobility or something, who knows? At any rate, we're probably better off as distraction or something, right? I mean, Scythe," he pointed at the imposing figure, "should be able to take that one..."
Casey blinked, then turned to look around, "Wait, weren't there two?"

The dragon still in the main Academy grounds was having a horrible time. For one thing, someone had turned the ground he was trying to walk on into mud. This was horribly distracted, and he had to fight against the urge to wallow.
He more or less lost, and was content to splash around for a bit.
Then he felt something made of solid aggression heading his way, and turned to see some strange creature walking toward him. Scratch that, stalking toward him. Blinking the dragon reached up and scraped its eyes with its talons.
"Dude, what was in that stuff?" it wondered aloud.
Meanwhile, his cohort was nearly to the Wingrose dormitory. He could smell the delicious scent of fresh maiden. And that sounded like just the cure for his munchies. He began peeking in windows, his giant yellow eye filling the entire view.
"Hey, any maidens around here?"
The first dragon had gotten out of the mud, and stared down at the little aggressive figure. What exactly did he want? And why was he glaring like that? For that matter, he kinda looked tasty...
The dragon leaned over, and gave Scythe a nice, long, wet lick, most likely knocking over the other dragon in the process.
"Dude, you taste like chicken."

Speaking of Wingrose Dormitories, guess who just arrived?
"Kiri!" He yelled as he burst in the door, to a series of shrieks from the female side of the dorms Of course he knew where that was, having been there before. He gave no pause to the confused people in the common room, and threw open the door to the girls side.
"Hey!" Some Wingrosian boy said grabbing his arm. "You can't go in there!"
Locke was stressed, worried, and not at all rational. He might consider asking for forgiveness to the boy whose nose he had probably broken after this was all over. But for now he ran to the room her knew well, the room that he hoped to god she wasn't in.
And Locke wasn't exactly a religious person.
He threw open the door and his blood ran cold when he saw a large yellow orb filling the window. He hadn't had a chance to look anywhere else yet, so if Kiri was here or not, he didn't know.

Locke's words might have worked on a more responsible person. They probably should have worked on Kennedy. He probably should be herding students to class and generally doing what he was supposed to do.
Unfortunately, this is Kennedy we're talking about. He promptly ignored the suggestion to save the many, and instead focused on the few he knew about. Besides, it was in his nature to charge directly at whatever was attacking, not run away from it.
So, Kennedy arrived to Wingrose just after Locke did, and was still adjusting to his rapidly changing Gifts. People swarmed around, and every other person caused a change in Kennedy's makeup, which resulted in some unusual fluctuations. Finally, Kennedy caught sight of Locke, and followed the other.
"What the hell is going on here?" he demanded, looking around. It didn't take him long to see the giant yellow eye filling the window, and he felt his blood turn icy. Something big had shown up, probably to eat whoever's room this was. Come to think of it, the decor looked oddly familiar.
"Aww, hell, Kiri."

"So? Aren't you a shapeshifter? Make yourself big!"
Incredible. 'Make yourself big.' That's the most sound tactical advice I've ever heard.
"I'm serious. Give yourself massive muscles and claws or something if you can't just turn into a dragon."
It wasn't the most elegant plan, but it seemed to Fey to be pretty straight-forward and foolproof, and the best plans usually had those qualities. Besides, leaving two dragons to one dude didn't strike her as a good idea, especially when...
"The other one is about to open the Wingrose dorms like a can of anchovies," Fey said matter-of-factly. "So I suggest you pull yourself together."
Without waiting for her formal rival, she tore off after the Wingrose-offender. She may not have had super speed, per se, but she was still incredibly athletic and covered the distance in little time. Then she nimbly jumped up the dragon's legs and onto its back, which was due to her Gift.
She ran lightly up to the dragon's head, and, crouching over and grabbing some scales for support, leaned over until she could see its eyes.
"Hey, were you looking for a maiden?"
Oh, now that is intelligent.

"Big?" Casey pointed a shaky finger at the dragon. "I can't make myself that big, I haven't even tried to get much bigger than-- hey! Where the hell are you going?"
Casey stood there, watching Fey dart off. What was she thinking? Her Gift was Enhanced Reflexes, which was not something that could really help with dragon slaying. Besides, their best bet had just gotten licked, literally. Which could not be a good thing for anybody.
"Hey! I am so together!" he protested, charging forward. Really, he wished he could think of something impressive. But about all he could really do was distract and annoy the dragon.
"At least he probably can't kill me," Casey muttered. "Yay, regeneration."
He stopped just short of Scythe and his dragon, sparing a glance over at Fey. Which one should he help? He couldn't see anyone near either of them... and Scythe was more likely to be able to handle this on his own.
"No killing," reminded Casey, pointing at Scythe before running toward the Wingrose dorms. Thankfully he remembered exactly where those were...

Zeth cursed silently when his plan went bad with the dragon, but had to cough to cover the laugh when it licked the war dragon. Looking over at the Wingrose dorms, Zeth spotted someone looking up into the windows, perhaps worring about someone.
Zeth looked again at the nearer dragon, wishing he at least had brought his dragoon revolver to the academy, though it would have done little without any dragon's bane. Zeth narrowed his eyes trying to figure out something to do with that dragon. Maybe if the dragon stood on concrete, marble, or something, he could help Scythe with his battle.
Cursing at his earlier overconfidence, Zeth decided to head for the commotion at the Wingrose dorms, making sure to avoid both Scythe and his prey, knowing he was about to get really ticked off.

He'd just gotten licked. Tasted, sampled, salivated. The dragon was going to die. He slowly stood glared at the peon and promptly ignored orders.
"No vun leeks me." The war dragon growled at he leaped at the dragon's face going for any soft spot he could find with his claws. Blood was going to flow if he had anything to do with it. Plasma, claret, humors. "And no vun can keel peon but me."

Having heard the cries, the chaos, and the academy getting bumped into by a giant dragon Kiri did the most obvious thing. She ran to the window to see what was going on.
"Ohhh! Pretty!" Hopping up and down she ran and got her sketch book not wanting to lose the chance to draw such a sight. Real live dragons! In their dragony forms! She ran back to the window and drew frantically as the "munchy seeking" dragon came over to her window.
"Can you hold still? I want to get the shading right." The fae shaded with her charcoal pencil, but the next thing she new people were bursting into her room. And the dragon was very close indeed. "Locke! Look! Dragons!"

Kiri's new friend grinned at her, and his tongue lolled out. Turning, he looked over at the other dragon. "Dude, this little butterfly thing wants to paint my picture! And she's a pretty maiden! Oh, you're busy."
Indeed, the other dragon was busy. He'd barely managed to jerk his head out of the way of Scythe's attack, and was now backpedaling from the ferocious war dragon. "Man, the munchies are attacking back! This totally sucks!"
He turned and started running away from Scythe. Well, trying to run. Seeing as he was still out of it, he kept tripping and falling, creating huge gorges in the manicured turf. And he knocked over students like they were bowling pins, people scattering everywhere.
"Alright, dude, you keep playing. I need to pose," Kiri's friend leaned back from the window, and struck a "dragonly" pose. Which meant that he opened his mouth wide, and started dripping acid onto to the school's grounds. And he flexed his claws and lashed his tail a couple of times. Truly terrifying.
Then he realized that someone was near his eyes.
"Hey!" his eyes shifted to look at Fey, "dudette, you're totally wreckin' the view. Like, could you get off? You'll throw off the shading and stuff."

Locke stared at the odd scene, from Kiri to the posing dragon. He seemed totally lost as for what to do here. He thought she'd be in danger, that had been the only thought in his mind, but now she was here, taming the dragon with her drawing.
"Um...Kiri...uh...maybe we should go?" Locke wasn't sure. On one hand it was dangerous here, on the other hand she seemed to be taming the dragon and keeping it from causing trouble.
"Uh...right Kennedy? It's dangerous here..."
Yeah, his train of thought was completely derailed. He could hear the commotion from the common room and theorized that people had begun to evacuate here as well, they must have noticed.
"Yeah, we need to get out of here, it's not safe."

Giggling she leaped with joy and hurried to the window. her charcoal pencil moving like bumble bees over flowers. The pose was exactly what she was aiming for and the light was perfect. Though the lady on his back did throw things offs.
"Yes, could you please demount the dragon? I need to get this perfect!" Again her pencil moved. "It's not every day I can get a real dragon to pose for me!"
"Oh, Locke. It's fine. He's even posing!" Giggling some more she moved to sit on the window sill to get a good look at his feet. "Now do your best to hold still please. The light is just right."
This was the most exciting thing to ever happen to her. Not the happiest, no that was Locke. But for sure the more exciting.

Honestly, Kennedy should have seen this coming. Leave it to little Kiri to tame the dragon. Or at least stop it from rampaging. If it was posing and preening, then it wasn't damaging the place or looking for "maidens" to munch upon. In Kennedy's mind, this meant this dragon was taken care of.
But wasn't there another one?
"It's really not that bad," offered Kennedy. He looked over to the dragon, shifting his feet. "I mean, she's got him posing, which means he's not eating people or terrorizing the neighborhood."
Kennedy shrugged again, looking to the posing dragon. He hardly looked to be a thread like that. Almost cute, really. And there was an Agent dangling off its neck, so things were clearly under control. Still, maybe Kennedy should check on it.
"Uh... looks like you've got things here... I should go check on the other one... there was another one, right?" he paused, looking to Locke, then Kiri. Not only to reassure himself, but to double-check that everything here was as okay as it looked.

Confusion, acceptance, and indignation; the Three Stages of Being Told to Get Off a Dragon.
Confusion being that she simply did not see any of this coming. Not that she had seen a dragon attack coming in the first place, but she really hadn't expected the dragon to even start talking, let alone to tell her she was throwing off the light. And then a little girl agreed with him. It was very likely she'd have stood there atop the dragon's head, stunned, for the rest of the day, had Odji not snapped her out of it.
Well?
And then acceptance. Hadn't Casey said they just needed to distract the dragons? Wasn't the little girl in the window doing a fine job of that on her own? And wasn't she likely to just re-rouse the dragon if she ignored his request and stuck around?
So, with a slight shrug, she descended nimbly from the dragon.
She had just reached the ground when indignation reared its ugly head. It occurred to her then that they'd both asked her to get off because she was ruining the picture. Now that she was past the absurdity of it all, she was pretty damn offended that they thought the picture just wasn't right without her. Sure, she didn't dress like a princess, but she knew she was good-looking. It was an outrage, really!
She stormed over to Casey, looking as upset as if the dragon had just taken a bite of her.
"Do you think I'm pretty?" she demanded dangerously, not even giving him time to say hello or catch his breath from the run.
