He did not cherish his mother, respect her, or like her. Some days he went so far as to say he hated her. Sure other people didn't have the a mother, or missed them. He'd been given a horrible mother and only people with equally horrible mothers could understand. Deciding to keep this tid bit to himself from her near reprimand he just grinned and nodded as if agreeing with her.
Micah floated around his wings only beating fast enough to keep him up. Then her hands were pulling his out of his pockets and him upwards toward the stars. His eyes widened in shock at her sudden decision to touch him and be kind to him. It was a switch from the gloom and snapping. See past it? There was nothing really to see past. Unless, she really could see. He shook it off no way could she see. Find what he was looking for? He didn't even know that. His life was just as shallow as his personality. Shallow or empty, or both.
Her smile...it was like he'd found one of the fallen stars. It had been many a year since a girl's smile had affected him so. It made him uncomfortable. Glad she changed the subject he flew with her toward the stars.
"I'll find you. I'm good at finding people." Micah flew around her watching as she reached for the stars. Something he'd been doing his whole life. "Talk, walk, fly whatever comes, happens, will come, will happen."
He liked letting life happen. The only thing he planned was his job and that was only because Joshua insisted. "The story? Eh, just something I heard as a child. You talking about the stars like that reminded me is all."
Micah was not putting the flirt on hard enough. He was disappointed in himself. The smile had thrown him off that had to be it. A smile coming from such a sad beauty had thrown him off. "I believe you already thanked me. That smile. It made me think of a fallen star. Someone with such a stunning smile should do so more."
His eyes were also aimed toward the glittering heavens and once again without knowledge his dusting had started again. Happiness...another trigger of the dust. True happiness. The glitter fell upon the earth the wind blowing it to the trees, and a golden leaf fell to the ground.

Cerridwen couldn't believe that had happened. That his stranger...could do this. Make her smile. If he thought her smile was...well like a falling star, she wondered what he would think when she laughed, when she really smiled, and kept the smile showing, a smile that would reach her eyes. That was a true smile, a real smile, this one had merely made her...happy for a minute, made her think and that was that. Cerridwen drifted around as she looked up at the stars.
"They are beautiful though..." She murmured as she drifted.
"Don't you ever just...feel like you want to cry as you look up at them. The sheer beauty...it's breaktaking you know?" SHe asked again. He seemed like the kind, as shallow as he came off, he seemed like someone who would know, who would understand her, someone she had been looking for, well for a long time.
"I'm sure your amazing at finding people but your going to have a tough time finding me..." She warned now. Between the guards that were constantly watching her sister, and herself and now Maelee, and then of course the Fae city in general, he would have a tough time. That was for sure...though maybe...she was starting to warm up to the man with no name. "So I'm sure you enjoy a bit of mystery...but I don't" Cerridwen agreed "You need now to tell me your name, you know mine...Cerridwen...now I need to know yours. Settle the score, make the playing field fair yeah?" Cerridwen asked.
Once more a small smile set on her lips. "rwalaer" She whispered "Is that your name? Tanya nae n'quel. Amin uuma Astalder" She nodded eagerly renaming him a small dwarf teasing him. She remembered how agitated this made Eryk..maybe he would be different...and then again maybe not. She spoke her native tongue but as she did, she saw the flecks of gold and she relaxed a bit more. She was with a fae, that was...well that was a good thing. It made her feel different then she had with Eryk, there was this sense of familiar-ness, though if he spoke elven she would be very impressed, and to think she only thought it was her parents who made her study the dreaded language. The DEAD dreaded language to be more exact.
"miqula amin?" She asked. She had asked him to kiss her. Now she was just flat out being mean. ASking him to do things in probably a language he hadn't a clue how to understand. A smug feeling set in as she watched him waiting. So amusing for her, and who said she had to be candy and sugar all the time? She shrugged and when she expected him to reject her, she would tell him what it means and watch him kick himself for being so stupid...and if he said yes, well she would lie and tell him she had said to go away now and leave her be. She really was horrid sometimes.

"The are breathtaking, and if I cried at every breathtaking thing I saw, then yes, I'd cry." This was one of the oddest conversations he'd ever had with a woman. Chatting about the stars with a perfect stranger. Ranked high on the whole odd list of things he'd done. "Course I'm a sucker for beauty. If it hold any beauty at all I am drawn to it. Shallow I know but still."
Was it really all bad to be drawn to beauty? People surrounded themselves with beauty all the time. Flowers, paintings, people. So to be drawn to such things wasn't too shallow. Course he only accept beauty in his life. If it was ugly in any manner he rejected it like the bad taste that sadness brought.
"Oh, belive me. I'll find you." He was confident in this, yes he didn't know who she was, who she was related to. But even then he was sure he'd find her. "Mystery? It's like a sweet wine upon my pallet, and I am sorry that you do not like it."
His name? She had given hers and it was only fair, but she might recognize the name. If she didn't he'd probably have his pride wounded. But he didn't feel much like lying overly much with her. Might as well give it a try.
"Micah D'mitrii." Not only was he a well known model but his family were old fae. Old fae that had always been wealthy it seemed and that blue blood flowed in his veins. Maybe she would know it maybe she wouldn't didn't matter now.
Elven? Was she serious? That language had died out long ago! He thought his parents were the only ones crazy enough to force that upon their children. He laughed at her names for him lusty and small dwarf. Micah laughed and shook his head flying extremely close to her.
"Lle naa vanima." He complimented her beauty, and to answer her question he smiled moving in closer. "Seasamin, Lirimaer."
My pleasure, lovely one Micah was shocked she'd ask such a thing to a stranger with her beloved's death so close. But he had a feeling she hadn't expected him to know the dead language as well. This would result in a lovely reaction he was sure.

"That's not Shallow" Cerridwen said confused only slightly as she looked to him. "Everyone is drawn to beauty. But it takes...talent, to realize and see the beauty in every flaw" She nodded "Those are the things we should value, nothing is perfect, nothing is the same, and in every flaw there is something so...beautiful about it. Those stars, each one different, no one star is perfect, and within the differences, you can see the flaws. I don't know about you but those are some pretty flaws. Beautiful" She murmured again turning once more, this time not afraid to meet his eyes like she had been before.
Eyes were a big thing with her, they established a connection between two people, and if someone refused to meet her eyes, well that told her they really weren't interested in establishing a real connection, a real relationship, and that was...something Eryk had been so...shaky on. She had been with him now for a year and a half, and never dated anyone else, there had been Lance but we didn't need to go there, he wasn't worth it, and then Eryk came, and...there had just been some...moments when he wouldn't meet her eyes, not wanting to establish a connection? It wasn't like she had exactly TOLD him, but it..was just one of those things, and she didn't even know this guy and everytime, not one time did he ever look away. It was always her looking away and that was so...weird. Not normal.
"I don't believe you'll find me, but if you'd like to try, then I by all means grant you that challenge" She nodded still interested. He was...so peculiar. Not like anyone else she had met. He was so sure of himself, not like Eryk, she was sure it was safe to say know he was Eryk's complete opposite. His name was Micah, well maybe it would be best to hang out with someone like Micah for a little bit...someone similar to him not him specifically because...well just because. If she did she might grow fond of him, and she didn't want to grow fond of him. That wasn't allowed. Certainly not. Eryk was her love. Eryk...was her life, and yet, it wasn't nearly as hard to give him up and accept the fact he was gone, not like last time when Cerridwen went into mourning for months at a time.
"I'm just...I've had my fair share of mystery...I think enough to last me a life time thank you very much" She nodded going horizontal on her back and looking up at the stars in which were gleaming and glimmering.
As he returned back with elven she just looked to him, well shocked. She was flat out shocked. Not only had he laughed...an understood her, and now she was blushing pink embarrassed but he had...accepted? "I-I-I" She sputtered unable to say anything, her eyes were like large green holes in her face, her mouth, her jaw hanging ajar and the wind blowing her hair back slightly in the breeze and her body was totally numb now. As much as she had hoped Eryk was watching down on her, she sure as hell didn't hope he was looking down on her now. He would probably have smite her for even slightly flirting with Micah, which she WAS doing.
So bad, so not good, and now he was close to her, and she wasn't breathing, just...she was so shocked, so amazed. Happy. She was happy. He understood her, he...was so...that was so weird. He just was like her. Eryk could never understand elven, it was such a beautiful language, and it just came so naturally to her, maybe since Eryk wasn't totally fae, it hadn't come as easy when she had once tried teaching him.
"Y-y-you can sp-speak?" She murmured staring at him, now looking at him in a totally new light. "Er...what are your thoughts, on paintings, art." She asked eager to know everything she could know. "Er flowers, plants? How intune with the earth are you? Are you more of a fall fae? Winter? My sister can control most ice snow, and anything associated with winter, it's quite amazing, and you know maybe your summer, but the dust coming off, maybe your what helps fall change to winter? Is that what you do? Hor you go about it? What can you do with the earth? How do you help it? Do you like being drawn, your face such a perfect structure, and it would be so easy, and it's just so tempting." She started talking a mile a minute as she reached out, her hands running over his forehead and cheekbones examining his face.
This was...so weird for her, she had never done this, and it was new, for her especially, but good different. She just kept talking and asking questions without really giving him time to answer and the only time she would stop would be to take a breath.

It was nice not to be called shallow but as she continued to discribe what was not shallow about it he felt shallow again. He hated flaws, and faults. That was another reason why he didn't tend to stay with people long because then he could find and see those faults. He liked thinking everything was beautiful.
"I like thinking that they are perfect." He stared at her notcing that she was staring right back at him. Micah grinned and waved at her for staring at him. His eyes didn't turn away instead he stared blatantly at her as if daring her to look away first. At times like this he wished he could read minds and find out why exactly she was gazing at him so intently. He raised his eye brows at her as if to ask "Yes?" but his lips didn't move except to slide into a half confident grin.
This time he decided to leave the conversation about him finding her alone. He had his ways to find people, and he would use them. Her had her name, or at least what she had given as a name. Her first name wasn't common so it shouldn't be hard to find her even if the last name was different. Though she could've given a false name. Then he probably wouldn't find her, and if she coudl lie so easily then she wasn't worth finding. One less conquest, big deal.
"Lot of mystery, huh?" She probably wouldn't like him then unless he couldn't keep everything hidden till the end. It would take some work but he was confident that he could pull it off. As long as Joshua stayed out of things. Or maybe he would just share everything with her. Not now, not yet, but if he had to to win her over he'd do it. "Well, if we ever talk about maybe I can ease some of those for you."
His voice sounded somewhat suggestive and seductive. Micah almost winked at her but changed his mind. He'd save the wink for later. So far he was enjoying her reaction to him speaking elven. She was shocked, she was stuttering, and it was hilarious. When she asked if he could speak he laughed again dropping a bit in the sky. Then she just kept going on some tyrade asking all sorts of random questions and he just kept laughing. Even with her hands trailing over his features he laughed. This was the girl he was looking for behind that gloomy exterior. This was much more enjoyable than what he'd been given till now. After she had finished her rant of questions he reached for her hands, and replied.
"Yes, my parents are extremely old fashioned and demanded I learn." Paintings? "I love art for it is beauty but I only like uplifting art nothing about hell or the plague. Flowers are the same as art, something given to us to add beauty to our every day lives. I do not look at wilted flowers, for they no longer hold beauty."
Micah laughed a bit before he answered some more of her questions. "I don't know how intuned with the earth I am, but I do enjoy the fall more than any other season. Though spring is also a favorite. I don't think my dust does anything or I have not witnessed it doing anything besides glitter in the sunlight."
This was a lot of talking, he didn't do this much talking unless he was on an interview. "What can I do with the earth? I can scoop it up with my hands and smell it. Not a very good gardener, sorry."
His talent lay somewhere else high up above the earth. "Being drawn? I have posed for artists before, and since I'm guessing you either didn't catch my name or don't know it. I'm a male model."
That was the end of the first wave of questions, and he almost hoped for more. This was like the game twenty questions, and her reactions were hilarious. "What about you? You insights on art? The earth? Plants? Seasons? Do you like being drawn or do you just do the drawing?"
He couldn't draw at all he had basically no artistic ability, but he was pretty handy with a camera. All that having his own pictures taken had him interested in the area. He'd save that if she asked more questions.

Cerridwen watched him and nodded. "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions you know..."Cerridwen reminded him and shrugged. Oh no! Busted...she was caught staring and he was staring back and it was now as if they both were having a staring contest, but it wasn't weird...it was...well different which made her turn pink again and looke away. This was slightly...awkward again. Oh no. She had managed to screw things up, and she wasn't even trying this time. Damnit. Damn Damn Damn! She looked at the ground below her feeling somewhat embarrassed but let it play off as maybe a little bit of flirting? She felt...so...dirty. Eryk was dead and here she was flirting with him? This was...bad. She had no loyalties, and Rae, well Rae would have hated her....if she had found out most likely.
As he started talking of mystery, his tone, his words...he was into her...it seemed at least, and why? She had been so cold, do mean to him all night? This wasn't making any sense to her, unless her suspicions were right from the beginning and he just...well wanted to get into her pants, er skirt, in which case wouldn't happen, but then he had said all he wanted to do was talk...and well...she could handle that. Yeah?
She listened intently as he went on and on. So..interesting. Oh my! He loved art! like her. 'Oh you'll have to let me draw you then, it would be lovely, and I'm very excited now." She said flying around him in circles Eryk out of her mind. Eryk had never let her draw him, him being a model, surely he would. She flew in circles around him touching almost every part of his body trying to get a feel for him, how she was draw him, and of course trying to decide if she wanted to draw him..the traditional way, basically in the nude...which would end in a brilliant portrait of him or...a horribly unchallenged one with him wearing clothes. She didn't want to betray Eryk but...she really wanted to draw Micah. Choices...so many choices. "You must let me draw you.." She murmured stopping in front of him her eyes wide and excited.
"Spring is...well spring is amazing, and a time of renewal, cleansing, and I love spring...how I do." Cerridwen sighed content. He really knew how to take a mood and change it...that was for sure. That or he really knew his way with words..because she had gone from being depressed and wanting to die...to wanting to draw him...in the nude...for more then just one reason.
"I love the earth, I grow things, I love flowers, and I adore drawing, I work in the shop in town, it's little but all of those flowers there I grow for my boss Fiona..." Cerridwen explained "I mean it's no exciting life of a male model but I love it" She sighed content just thinking about her flowers and drawings lightened her mood so much. "I've..never been drawn though...I don't think I could do the paper justice" She admitted and shook her head. "I'm just not the type of face that you would see, I'm more of a behind the pad with the pencil person. I draw the beautiful people...such as yourself." She said quickly and turned pink again and looked down.
"Er I love spring" She repeated and shook her head "I mean..seasons...such a pain to deal with sometimes.." She murmured flushed and now...talking a mile a minute as she was quite excited. Damn! She wasn't suppose to be like this! Not with Eryk gone like this and dead. She would weep later, she had wept so many times over him as well, maybe it was time for a chance.
"Er you can speak elven then? That is quite exciting, and do you like being a fae? What is your gift? You must have one if your not intune with fall as I thought? How do you dust like that, I'd love to learn it would be so amazing, and to see if there was any real purpose to it, it's so beautiful, why don't you see the flaws, I mean I see plenty of flaws in you and yet I still find you extremely beautiful do you realize your flaws? And maybe I could get you...er...flowers! Yes! Flowers Oh my" SHe said and paused and took a deep breath and continued.
"What is your favorite food? Color? Have you ever been to the fae Palace? I can show you, you know, and I can let you meet the queen, and the...well consort of the queen, I know the queen." Cerridwen stopped and small smile on her lips and looked down. "I mean have you...it's beautiful you know" She murmured and sighed "I'm sorry I...just totally bombarded you and I'm just so so sorry.." Cerridwen apologized reaching a hand to push back the hair out of her face and let her flushed face look up. Christmas colors! The Red skin of embarrassment and her moss colored eyes mixing. Oh tonight was certainly turning out to be an interesting night.

Opinions, yes, everyone had those didn't they. The magazines, the agents, the photographers all had their opinions. Most of those opinions he hoped they'd just keep to themselves. His jaw is too sharp, his nose too big, his eyebrows weren't neat enough, his ears weren't just right. Opinions. Not the kindest that could be aimed at a person but they were still entitled to them. Just as he was entitled to tell them to go to hell.
The staring made him chuckle a bit, and her embarassment or shame had him laughing. Making people uncomfortable was fun at times. But that shy, slightly flirtacious girl was gone and more questions were headed his way. Her hands on him, her flying about him trailing those hands over him. Micah remained somewhat still so as not to scare off the beautiful doe. It amused him this insistance that she draw him because just moments ago she demanded him to leave her alone. That he would never see her again. Now she had to see him again if she wished to draw him. He gave a seductive, suggesting grin at her when she came back round in front.
"So will you treat me as a Michelangelo subject painting me without a scrap of clothing on? Or will you go more conservative and draw those pesky folds of cloth?" In saying this he wanted to cause her to blush again because it was amusing and cute. Also it was his way of agreeing to letting her draw him, and his way of cementing that he'd see her again. Then she gave him all he needed to find her again. A flower shop with the owner Fiona. He'd go to that shop every day till he saw her again, just to say he could. To say 'I told you I'd find you' if that was all. Micah enjoyed being right.
"I can't draw, I can't garden, and spring is a lovely time of the year." This was so much better than depressed version of the girl. She almost glowed to him the difference was so great. If she got the beautiful just talking about flowers and paints then he was dying to see her after a nice romp betwixt the sheets. "I'm beautiful?"
Micah laughed quite used to being complimented but still enjoying it when it happened. "I find you beautiful as well, and worth drawing by any artist worthy of your grace."
There we go nice compliment tossed in there, and she was blushing again! More probably for her calling him beautiful though he guessed since it happened before his compliment. What an odd swan he was dealing with, and how curious she was. Questions abound! At least she wasn't snapping at him anymore. Or throwing his coat in his face.
"Vanimle sila tiri." He spoke reassuring her that he indeed spoke elven the words ringing of how her beauty shone bright. "I enjoy being a fae yes. The flying part is a perticular perk that I enjoy as often as my busy schedule allows."
Micah waited for the questions to stop again before he tried to answer them all. Boy she was inquisitive. "I have the ability to control or communicate with electricity or say lightning. I do not think I am intuned with fall, but I might be. I have been to the palace for a ball or two in the past. I have not met the current Queen. I have always been able to dust, my whole family does, and I believe it has something to do with illusions or glamour."
Taking a deep breath he continued with a grin. "I know many of my flaws but chose to ignore most if not all of them. I do not find flaws or faults attractive and will either reject them or turn a blind eye. I would love some of your flowers."
His grin turned devilish as he thought of a certain flower he would love to enjoy. This was almost like playing with a child, it almost wasn't fair. "My favorite food? Honey. And green or gold."
He was having problems remembering all of her questions now, but he thought he got them all. It was somewhat tiring answering all these questions but it entertained him. Joshua must be going crazy with worry, he'd been gone for so long. Let the tight wad worry he was having fun.
"My turn." Micah flew close grinning mischievously. "Favorite food? Favorite color? Talent? Do you live in the palace? You know the Queen, how close are you? That girl you spoke of is she your daughter? Do you ever sell your drawings? Do you like to dance? Are you a virgin? What is the farthest you been from home, and will you see me again?"
Take that for a bombardment of questions. Flying backwards arms crossed he awaited the reaction and the answers. His guess was that at least two would make her blush or angry with him, but just to watch her face would be worth it. This was the most fun he'd had playing with someone in a long time. Maybe he'd woo this girl just because she made him laugh.

Cerridwen was just...on fire tonight. Her face...was just so red and he kept complimenting her and it was just, very...wow. She shrugged it off and kept speaking, her questions, his answers, and that was how it was back and forth back and forth she would ask a question and he would answer it. Such a lovely thing and the best part was, he didn't ask anything about her, he wouldn't know anything about her, so when he 'tried to find her' he wouldn't be able to! So ha! there! She felt very smug about this. Cerridwen relaxed once more as she and him finally came to silence.
"Diola lle" She thanked him and continued on and listened. "Well I'd hope you don't know the queen...and you must teach me to dust...I want to see what triggers it, what...happens, where does it come from." Cerridwen said circling him slowly this time curious about the dusting.
It was so beautiful...how could this fae do it but she couldn't. She didn't understand. Cerridwen once more retured to the front and shook her head. "Your a mysterious fae you know, very mysterious. And why were you brought here? What compelled you to come here, we're such a small place, and your such a huge male model with girls drooling over you I'm sure...you must know Angela Wingrose then..." She asked curiously. "If I remember she use to model as well...the little blonde one going out with that Cavan lad..." She asked.
Did she just say lad? She was hanging out with Rae way to much...honestly Rae was starting to rub off on her.
Cerridwen smiled slightly. She was just...he made her...want to smile, and that was really weird. She had been around plenty of males since Eryk had left her. That quirky doctor that had come to try and woo her and every other male fae minus her sister's guard's brother Karmine. Not that she would have talked to that red-haired man anyways. Ugh. He was old. Gross.
"You know...I find the biggest flaws sometimes the most attractive ones, such as your jaw." She said going back to run her hand along it softly. Carefully. "How sharp it is, and how your forehead is quite broad..." She said lifting her other hand to it and looked at him. "it makes you, you, and if I were you, I'd not turn the other way when it comes to those, my flaws, you seem to like me enough, and I have plenty of flaws, my skin is to pale, my hair is...well black, and horrid, my eyes are just...well I rather like my eyes. Otherwise my ears are pointy and...I'm very soft spoken and I'm not very tall." She shrugged "And who said Fae had to be glamorous and beautiful? Eternal beauty my white as*" She muttered rolling her eyes.
Though when he began his very own questioning, she sat and listened to all of them. Not one of them made her blush, nor did they make her mad. They were after all questions, and she wasn't going to freak out on him, even if this stranger WAS invading her personal space which he didn't need to do. Still he had answered all her questions, now it was her turn to answer all of his. It was after all only fair.
"My favorite food is...I love the Peas I grow...and if you like Carrots I will never talk to you again" She nodded and looked down "And of course my favorite color is green, you should know that...I mean well no you shouldn't but I did dwell on spring a bit didn't I? And if I love flowers...plants green? You must be pretty but no common sense up there." She said flying over his head knocking on it with her hand and then down and back up in front of him after flying down and under him and popping back up. Smiling once more she shook her head and rolled her eyes. "And this is where the common sense comes into play" She smiled letting out a little laugh. "I control earth, nature, plants, flowers, trees, I'd watch it if I were you, Princess of spring if you will." Cerridwen shrugged.
She was technically a princess, her sister was queen, Queen of winter, she was princess of Spring, Mae? Well Mae had to be the princess of something...which reminded her she had to figure out Mae's gifts...she still hadn't had a chance. Maybe it was summer? Or maybe she was just like her brother...and didn't have one? Cerridwen thought about this for a minute and shrugged. "I'm sure she does.." She murmured to herself and shrugged moving onto the other questions that she needed to remember to answer.
At his next questions she laughed out loud this time, a tinkling musical laugh. "So you've caught me hmm?" She asked and smiled. "I don't live in the palace, it's a dreadful dreary place, not a place I want to live, though the stained glass is extrordinary, and that is in the throne room, and you will need to see it. That and the gardens which I helped revive thank you very much" She addressed as she flew slowly once more as they came over a unidentified lake, well one she couldn't identify at night, if it were day and she could see the shape clearly then maybe it would be a bit easier. Flying lower towards the water she took off in front of him and let her hand drag across the water creating ripples in it as she looked at her reflection. As she saw her reflection a reflection of Eryk appeared beside her, he was smiling a small smile, one of those secretive smiles he had upon his lips, some how that always made her wonder.
What was going on?
She shook her head and raised herself. Answering his question she yelled over her shoulder. "She my sister. That's the connection!" Cerridwen announced and looked up at him as she flew under his body, hugging the waters surface. "She's a real ice queen if you know what I mean" Cerridwen said "No pun intended" Which was indeed true. Oh how Minerva could be a real pain, and a real witch if she wanted to be. Not something she would let get to her though, not something at all.
"As for the girl, she's none of your concern, but if you really must know..."Cerridwen trailed off. 'She's not mine, but I treat her as if she is. Maelee is such a sweet girl, and her father...well is having a bit of troubles, her brother...was my fiance" She filled in "So when her father's girlfriend brought her to me, Minerva and I took her. We both love her and it's funny, we fight for her attention, even though I should win the affection award because I am by default the next in line to get her if her father and his girlfriend don't want her. Well that and she wouldn't go to anyone else BUT me, I love her dearly, she is practically my daughter." Cerridwen informed as she slowed down, letting her wings now slice the water as she flew on her back looking up at him.
"I would never sell my drawings, most of them are personal, and most of them I'd like to keep but if your wanting to take yours, well I'm not allowed to charge you, I won't do it. I won't let myself. Why should you have to pay for a picture of yourself? It is after all your image, why should I make you pay for you to have a picture of yourself? That's just...injustice." She sighed. "But if you mean my drawings of...flowers, and scene's that I draw etc. etc. well I don't sell them, they're quite personal to me." Cerridwen nodded.
She did laugh, quite hard at the next question. "Well why in the bloody hell do you want to know that?" She asked raising herself up to eye level with him now stopping and letting him see the smile playing upon her lips. "Let me ask this...do you think I am?" She asked quirking a brow looking at him, quite amused. After a few moments of silence she turned away breaking eye contact. "Of course I'm not" She said. "Wait till marriage, that's what those English blokes say, well I can certainly tell you it is quite different in the magical world. Quite different indeed. Fae...well I mean honestly, I'm over a hundred years old!" She said throwing up her hands and rolling her eyes. "It's another one of those common sense things you know Micah" She said saying his name letting it roll off her tongue in a musical, sing-song manner.
"I'll dance right now." SHe said nodding letting herself twirl in the air, the hems of her skirt floating upwards as she spun and slowly drifting down again as the many different layers settled. "I adore dancing you know, especially in the rain...and under the stairs, and in the air" She nodded looking to him tucking hairs behind her ears again looking to him, letting the moon light bounce of her eyes this time. "Do you like dancing?" She asked almost in a challenging voice.
"I don't leave home, I'm afraid to leave him, I don't think...I want to go anywhere else anyways. You travel away from home, making these...these tours, and I just...I don't want to...that doesn't appeal t me, up until recently, I thought I had everything at home that I needed...and now just...I don't know. Maybe I'll consider leaving one day." Cerridwen shrugged the water still under them reflecting the stars, the moon and their selves in the water's reflection. "And if I see you again Mr. D'mitrii is up to you." She informed. "Remember? We agreed that I would see you again if you could find me, which will be quite easy now...so I suppose you will..unless I want to go and hide and play a fun little game of hide and seek, a favorite of Maelee's and if you don't mind me saying, I've gotten rather good at it, and not only that, I can grow things to conceal me away" Cerridwen informed, her eyes flashing amusement. "So if you want to try and find me then by all mean's you can" Cerridwen nodded and with that stretched, not at all feeling tired anymore.
"Alright hotshot your turn. Are YOU a virgin...and if you don't mind me asking...because I'm sure your not, how many woman exactly HAVE you slept with" She said not at all embarrassed asking this. "Where is your handler tonight?" She asked again "And what do...do you think of me hmm? An odd duck? The ugly duckling that turned into the swan hmm? Or maybe I'm still that ugly duckling to you?" She asked as she continued thinking up questions. "Where are you from? Do you have any siblings? Would you like to meet my sister? The queen? Do you like to dance? Would you want to dance upon water?" She asked and looked down
"A rose...what do you think of when you hear the word rose, and what about a black one? You know they're rumored to be a myth yeah? To grow a black rose...and a blue one for that matter...supposed to be a myth, what would you do if I sent you a black one? Yeah?" Cerridwen asked and thought for a minute. "And if I do remember you still owe me a kiss." She reminded and once more fluttered along the water's surface. "And your more then allowed to kiss me...as long as you can catch me..." She murmured eager to stretch her wings and speed fly. One of her favorite activities, Eryk hadn't ever been able to fly, well he had but not very well, and now, now was her chance to fly, and maybe he would be able to keep up? Catch her? He just ceased to amaze her, and after all he did know the dead language, maybe there was more to him then that met the eye anyways.
That reflection, of Eryk though, that was one thing that she couldn't shake from her mind. Maybe this was...Eryk? In another form? She wasn't sure, and she didn't want to think about it...she missed him but he would want her to move on? Not always unhappy? She hoped so...she truly hoped so...because she almost felt guilty having fun with this guy...this incredible guy she had just met, who knew the dead language, who loved art...and flowers, and maybe...no she would never reveal her and Eryk's flowers to him...nor the cottage. That was one thing she would never give Micah or any other man for that matter. She did have limits, and she did draw the line somewhere...if it was the flowers then so be it, and she would keep her drawings of Eryk, she loved him, she would always love him. There would always be this...this place in her heart, always for him, and she had taken his last name, maybe she was missing him more then she thought, and they did after all say that the eye of the storm was always the calmest, maybe she was just in the eye of the storm right now.
Things were about to get a lot worse for her, but she hadn't a clue. Maybe emotionally she would break? Nothing was for sure yet...everything was so confusing, so very confusing and she just...for one night, just one night in her life, she would have fun. She would have fun with this man, who seemed to like her, she hoped he liked her, and for once she was going to...let herself laugh. Smile, no she would NOT let him get into her pants, she was not going to do that...she wasn't a total skank. "You know.." She called over her shoulder. "I was serious, you catch me, you win yourself a kiss, I am a fast flyer though...so consider yourself warned if you want to take me up on that, nor am I afraid to be...tackled." She addressed. "Do whatever you have to do to catch me" She smiled. "That makes it that much more fun you know, and I can use....any way I can to get away yeah?" She asked grinning now, her smile brightening at seeing him. This would be quite an interesting game...and she would see just how bad he wanted her...she was certainly getting ready to give him a very hard time.

The girl was blushing so often he was starting to keep a tally in his head. If he got to twenty he was going to get himself a present. A new shirt, or a piece of art that would remind him of this night and this odd girl he'd found. "I don't know if I can teach you to dust. I thought all fae could do it. Maybe you're just an advanced species of fae hat doesn't need it anymore."
Better to compliment her than to say he was just better because he was able to dust. She flew around him again but he'd stopped dusting by now because she had brought it into the conversation. Micah didn't like dusting because whenever he did it as a child he got in trouble for it. Pavlov's theory and all that. "I believe it comes from the wings themselves. But I can't see my back very well."
She was a fountain, no an ocean of questions. She had to be the most question asking person on the face of this earth. Never had anyone asked him this many questions in one space of time. This was worse than twenty questions. This was worse than getting interrogated by the girl friend's father. This was like purgatory. He wasn't even religious and he was comparing this constant barrage of questions to a place of limbo.
"I was taking a walk. My job can be kind of stressful. It looked like a nice peaceful place to take a walk so I did." Micah almost sounded agitated with that answer but he grinned at the mention of the name Wingrose. He somewhat remembered a girl of that name. Saw her picture somewhere but never personally got to meet her. "Wingrose? Sounds a tad familiar. Lovely blond?"
As she traced his jaw his eyes turned serious, not liking her pointing out his facial flaws. People did that nearly every day of his life. She was complimenting them but she was still labeling them flaws. This girl flip flopped on emotions as well. Doom and gloom then flirtacious and bouncy with all these questions. He wasn't used to people like this. He was used to people like him, and people who pushed people like him around. Which was hard to do which made them scary people.
"You're not too pale, I find people overly tan to look like potatoes." He followed her with his greenish eyes as if following a dancing star. "Raven hair is a very attractive feature, yours is very lovely."
"Woman! You're a fae you're supposed to have pointed ears! And you are also genetically likely to be short." One of his pet peeves was when pretty people complained about themselves. He thought he was drop dead sexy and anyone who had a problem with his appearance could eat rotten eggs. Other models who constantly moped about their imperfections drove him over the cliff. "Low self-esteem much? Have you not been told how beautiful you are? Who has put these disgusting thoughts in your mind. Whoever they are should be shot and drug under a moving train."
Taking a deep breath he reminded himself this was a game. This was just a ploy to win another girls heart. No need to make things personal. No need to get upset over a girl who would mean nothing to him once he was done with her. but to hear those words. It grated on him and it made him want to send as many volts of electiricity as he could handle through the person's body who implanted such astrocities into her mind.
Micah relaxed more as she answered his questions and even laughed at the carrot comment. "I promise to never eat carrots again, didn't like them much anyway."
She flew above him and knocked his head but he just hovered and smiled up at her. Kind of a playful girl. He found it a bit commical that they had the same favorite color, but he could guess she liked the brighter greens where he liked the darker. Which showed in his attire of deep shades of forest green. As she pondered something he flew along gazing up at the stars and occasionally watching her. He listened as she described the palace, and he kept that information for later. The fact that she could describe it in intimate detail meant she had to be royalty or at least high up on the ladder. Micah's wings carried him along aove her as she dove to the lake to trail her fingers in its midnight waters.
"That was very considerate, and caring of you." He called down rotating in the air as he flew. This was the most relaxing he'd done in months, and he stretched his arms starting to feel lazy. Micah was used to the hum of the city, the throb of life, the noise, and the bustle. But this place was completely peaceful. Like some safe haven, a piece of bliss plucked and hidden away.
"Shame about the drawings that is. If you're good you could make a living of selling them off to rich snobs." He hadn't seen her art but the way she talked about it he could guess she would be good. If so he wouldn't mind buying a few. Take a picture of himself, leave money somewhere for her to find later. Then purhaps sell later for even more cash than he'd given her. Sounded like a good business venture. Not all that he needed to do was find her again, make her draw him a few times, and then pay her without her knowing. Sounded simple enough.
"Traveling brings me freedom. My family only dragged me down. Like a giant weight tied to my waist, but everyone has thier own opinions right?" Micah tossed her own words back at her as he gazed at the stars barely paying attention to her now. He'd found more than just entertainment this night, he'd found a place he could run to to escape his life. To escape the annoying Joshua. He chuckled hoping his friend wasn't too upset with him.
"I'll find you. Even if I have to go to the palace and plead to the Queen." Though from the sounds of it the Queen would be more likely to kill him then help him. He could always hire someone, or a tracker, or go to the nice flower shop and wait. Or make Josh go to the flower shop and wait. Thatsounded like a good plan."Oh, and by the way I'm an english blooke thank you very much and I don't think that way."
"My turn again? I am certainly not a virgin." And he didn't mind or care that she wasn't either. Her dancing made him look at her again and he almost smiled. "How many women? Lost track to be honest."
It was a sad statement to have but it was true. He hope she didn't delve to much into that area. Because he would and has done anything and everything to get where he was and to get higher. If it meant wh*ring his body out? Fine by him. All it was was spent sperm in his eyes. Realizing she was still talking and askign questions he snapped out of his wonderings to gaze down at her.
"Joshua is most likely looking for me. I think you are the most inquisitive person I've ever met, and you are unique and very beautiful in your uniqueness." He took a deep breath and continud answering her flow of questions. "Like I said I am from Britain. I have two young brothers. You sister sounds interesting, and yes I enjoy dancing."
He laughed spinning to face her wondering if she was serious on the dancing on the water part. "Never danced on the water, but it would be interesting sounds like."
"Rose? Sadness, beauty, love, thorns, someone who is afraid to love so they put up a barrier. Black roses, means death, curses, loneliness, and one who is forgotten. Blue roses symbolize sadness, despair, and all those other depressing emotions." He felt like he was in a poetry class or some other english class on symbolism. "Do you really wish for me to kiss you or do you just want to play with me?"
"Because if you really want me to I will." Micah cocked his cocky grni again at her challenge. The girl sounded confident that he wouldn't catch her, she must not realize how big headed and determined he could get. At least this meant no more questions. Without warning he kicked in the speed leaving a trail of crimson and gold dust behind him. She could talk all she wanted but as soon as that dare left her lips he was after her.

Cerridwen shook her head. "I've been told I am. I've had so far since Eryk left the majority of the Fae kingdom trying to woo me." She informed "But only one has my heart, and he not once...now that I recall ever said I was beautiful." She nodded. She couldn't remember a single time Eryk just...flat out told her she was beautiful. Something...she started thinking about more and more. Sure he may have thought it, and sure he may have implied it but...he never really SAID it to her. That...was...well that hurt to think about slightly, and this guy was well he had told her plenty of times for the both of them already.
"Thank you though...I mean for telling me. Maybe I'll take your word for it" She nodded reaching her hands to her ears and feeling the point. "And the points aren't that bad...I just complain...I'm eighteen I'm allowed too" She shrugged nodding "Well...180...how old are you exactly?" She asked.
"Dancing on water..." She said bringing herself up and letting her feet now touch the water as she hovered, her wings fluttering madly. "See? Dancing on water...but it would be better if I had someone with me...the one thing Eryk and I never got to do...dance on water.." She murmured with regret. He would have loved it too...she was positive.
At his question she smiled. "Maybe a little of both" She teased and as he took off she pushed away from the water speeding off like she had, Eryk wasn't fast with his wings...this guy could have starred in fast and furious....man he was fast, she just had to be faster, and with that she zipped along the glassy surface of the water. "You won't be able to catch me you know" She called and when the water came to an end she pulled up bursting through the tree tops and into the night air, flying faster then she thought she ever had before, she would not let him catch her, though soon she would start growing tired. This...was still...they would have to come back to the lake.
She looked up at the stars, the gleaming diamonds in the sky, and thought about dusting. She'd never dusted...maybe she just...needed to stop thinking about it and possibly green dust would fall, what a sight that would be!

If someone was engaged to another it was hard to believe that they'd never told each other such things. Unless her fiance was a dirty rotten rat. To not tell her how beautiful she was on a daily basis was a crime. This fiance of hers didn't sound all that great, and for her to want to kiss him and move on so quickly made sense. Who would want to mourne over an a** like that? Never called her beautiful, couldn't do this, didn't do that. Guy sounded pretty worthless.
"Never told you that? From all you tell me this guy doesn't sound all that amazing, and certainly not worth just a flower such as yourself." Course some girls like being in sucky relationships. Some girls enjoyed being treated like dirt. Or that's just what he viewed when a girl repeatedly went back to a jerk who beat them, or told them they were ugly. Or cheated on them enough times that the girl should've gotten the hint he was going to change. Micah didn't get into relationships therefore he couldn't cheat on anyone. On the rare occasion that he did he never cheated. He simply broke up with the girl and moved on.
"No, you're points aren't bad. I have points, but I was born with them. Just like I assume you were born with yours. Unless you get surgery they're gonna stay like that." He blinked at her willingly giving her age something girls often refused to do. Not really wanting to give his age up just yet he grinned. "Older than you."
Was it by a year? A few years? Twenty years? He wouldn't tell and it wasn't all that important when it came to fae really. They lived so long age hardly made a difference in their lives. He remembered a rather old fae who was lovely, and also a very loving lover. She moved on however and so did he. Though that was the closest he'd ever gotten to falling for someone.
He laughed flying down to try and "dance" on the water as well. Afraid to ruin his shoes though he barely touched the water with he soles of them. It looked more amazing than it actually was and it made him feel childish. She seemed to like it though. Again with the fiance. Yes, he'd just died but one minute she sounded angry at him and now she sounded desperately in love. He wished she'd just make up her mind already. To get over or not. A patient person he was not.
Micah laughed in surprise at her quick reflexes and her speed. She was like a bloody humming bird she was so fast. As she went up he headed straight into the trees. If she saw that he was no longer behind her she might slow down, or stop. He kept low to the ground trying to keep hidden in the shadows. As soon as her attention was elsewhere to the stars yet again he shot out of the trees arms reaching out to grab her.

Her head was wrapped around the words he had said about Eryk. Eryk hadn't been that bad, Eryk had been...so good to her, she loved him still so much. Why was she, why was she doing this? She needed to get home...to Maelee, and every time she told herself this guilt set in. Oh my...gah she had a game to win, she couldn't be just...flying around thinking about these random things, it was just...pointless. She couldn't. She had word to get too.
Cerridwen looked behind her, he wasn't there, and then she looked down, still couldn't see him, the leaves were in the way. Well hell. What was she suppose to do now? If he could see her but she couldn't see him, then..well crap.
Then out of no where he burst out of tree's scaring the living hell out of her. Making her meep quietly she took off just barely missing his grabbing hands and did a u-turn a sharp one at that, and turned around. She would lose him at the lake, she already saw he didn't want to go near water, if she could just kick up some water, he would be toast and she would be home free. Such a horrid plan...that was so brilliant. Coming in eye's view of the lake, she looked behind her again flashing him a devious smile. "Can't catch me nope!" She said shaking her head and like a bee, made a straight line dash for the water.

He could almost feel her skirt's folds as she darted away. For a second there he really thought he'd had her, but no she was a fast one. He'd just have to try harder or play dirty. Harder first then dirty. Micah flipped following her leaving another trail of dust behind him.
Water, the little swan was going for water. Was a kiss worth getting his designer clothes wet? Cold water at that? He grinned and flew to the shores of the lake as she went over the water. Flying over the shoreline he touched the waters using the charge molecules of the water ionizing to send a small shock whenever. if ever she touch the water. Nothing that would hurt her just something to tell her he was still in the game.
"Come now, trying to get me wet? I'm sure I can think of much nicer ways to do that." Micah grinned lifting into the air a small bit of electricity between his finger and the water. Barely any charge at all would reach her, just a slight static shock. He fly high enough that she'd have to have an inpressive spalsh to get him. Flying fast enough to keep up with her but not fast enough to tire himself out. Hopefully she'd tired out long before he did and he'd catch her then.
